우세분석과 회귀분석을 통한 창업지원서비스 만족도 영향요인들의 상대적 중요도 비교 (An Application of Dominance Analysis and Regression Analysis for Determining the Relative Importance of Critical Factors in Satisfaction of Start-up Support Service Program)

  • 본 연구에서는 예비기술창업자들을 대상으로 창업지원서비스에 대한 만족도를 측정하고, 세부 요인들의 상대적 중요도를 분석하였다. 만족도 측정에는 물리적 설비 지원, 인적자원 지원, 마케팅 지원, 재무 회계 지원, 제품개발 지원 등 5개의 요인을 사용하였다. 만족도 측정결과, 재무 회계 지원 서비스, 물리적 설비 지원 서비스 순으로 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 다중공선성이 존재할 때, 회귀분석을 통해 독립변수들의 상대적 중요도를 파악하는 데는 문제가 있다는 지적이 있어 우세분석을 이용하여 상대적 중요도를 분석하였다. 그리고 그 결과를 회귀분석을 통해 구한 상대적 중요도와 비교해 보았다. 우세분석 결과에서는 제품개발 지원의 상대적 중요도가 가장 높게 나타난 반면, 회귀분석 결과에서는 물리적 설비 지원에 대한 상대적 중요도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 비교를 통해 독립변수들 간의 상대적 중요도 차이를 확인하였다. 창업동기별로 창업지원서비스에 대한 만족도와 상대적 중요도를 비교해본 결과에서는 필요형 창업과 기회형 창업별로 만족도와 상대적 중요도가 다르다는 사실도 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막에는 이를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 한계점을 제시하였다.

국립공원 탐방행태 및 이용만족요인 - 경주국립공원을 사례로 - (Visitors' Behavior and Satisfaction Determinants of National Park - in the Case of Gyeongju National Park -)

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for the national park management by analysing visitors' behavior and satisfaction determinants by importance-performance analysis and estimated regression analysis through post-occupancy evaluation questionnaire method to the Gyeongju National Park visitors. It was found that facilities and use management according to place and use group, the diversity of visit program, high quality of guidance and hospitality of staffs and conservation of historic and landscape resources for Gyeongju National Park were necessary as the results of behavior analysis, importance-performance analysis. The historic landscape resources, hospitality of staffs, visit road and safety facilities, commercial facilities were important determinants of users' satisfaction as the results of regression analysis. It suggested the characteristics of Gyeongju National Park and these factors were the most important factors for the improved management.

에스닉 푸드 레스토랑 선택속성의 중요도가 전반적 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Importance Factors Affecting Ethnic Food Restaurant Selection upon Overall Satisfaction)

  • This study analyzed the Importance-Performance Analysis of selective attributes of Ethnic Food Restaurant. A total of 369 questionnaires were analyzed. Five factors were obtained from factor analysis of Importance variance of selective attributes of Ethnic food restaurant: Factor 1 "Quality", Factor 2 "Service", Factor 3 "Physical environment", Factor 4 "Uniqueness", Factor 5 "Health". Also, "Quality", "Physical environment", "Uniqueness" factors influenced overall satisfaction. In addition, according to the IPA results, selective attributes with low satisfaction and high importance in the second quadrant were 'Sanitation that comfort hospitality', 'Level of service' and 'Price'. These results suggest that when customers select Ethnic food restaurant, they consider 'food price' and 'food quality'. Therefore, manager of ethnic food restaurant should take these improvement factors into consideration in order to meet consumer's expectations.

위탁급식업체의 급식유형별 고객만족도 비교 (Comparison of Customer Satisfaction by Type of Foodservices in a Contract Foodservice Company)

  • The purpose of this study was to gauge customers' satisfaction with the hospital, university, factory, and office foodservices from a contracted provider. Importance-performance analysis (IPA) evaluations were conducted. Questionnaires were returned from 1,808 customers in 46 foodservice locations. The average total scores of the importance and performance of seventeen quality characteristics were 4.14 and 3.23, respectively, on 5-point scales. The average total score of gap (gap = performance - importance) was -0.92. Analysis of significant difference according to the type of foodservices revealed that, hospital foodservices had more items with significant high scores than those of other groups in the average total scores concerning importance (p<0.01) and performance (p<0.01). The average total scores of gap showed no significant difference. Significant differences were evident in the food and personal service dimensions, and the scores of hospital foodservices trended significantly higher than those of other groups. Importance-performance analysis (IPA) analyses for hospital foodservice implicate 'variety of menu', 'cleanness of dishes', and 'taste of food' as items requiring prompt attention and improvement.

IPA분석을 이용한 정기화물운송업의 경쟁력 강화방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on IPA-based Competitiveness Enhancement Measures for Regular Freight Service)

  • Purpose - Despite the structural irrationality of multi-level transportation and the oil price rise, the domestic freight transportation market continues to grow, mirroring the rise in e-commerce and resultant increase in courier services and freight volumes. Several studies on courier services have been conducted. However, few studies or statistics have been published regarding regular freight services although they have played a role in the freight service market. The present study identifies the characteristics of regular freight service users to seek competitiveness enhancement measures specific to regular freight services. Research design, data, and methodology - IPA is a comparative analysis of the relative importance of and satisfaction with each attribute simultaneously. This study used IPA because it facilitates the process of analyzing importance and performance, deriving implications and a visual understanding of results. To enhance the competitiveness of regular freight services, this study surveyed its current users regarding the importance of the regular freight service factors. A total of 200 copies of a questionnaire were circulated and 190 copies were returned. In addition to demographics, respondents answered questions about the importance of and satisfaction with services on a 5-point Likert scale. Excluding 3 inappropriate copies, 187 out of 190 copies were analyzed. PASW Statistics 18 was used for statistical analysis. A total of 20 question items were selected for the service factors presented in the questionnaire based on the 1st pilot survey and previous studies. Results - According to the IPA performed to compare the importance of and satisfaction with service factors, both importance and satisfaction are high in the 1st quadrant, which involves the economic advantage of using regular freight services, quick arrival at destinations, weight freight handling, and less time constraints on freight receipt/dispatch. This area requires continuous management. Satisfaction is higher than importance in the 2nd quadrant, which involves the adequacy of freight, cost savings over ordinary courier services, notification on freight arrival, and freight tracking information. This area requires intensive investment and management. Satisfaction is lower than importance in the 3rd quadrant, involving the credit card payment system, courier delivery service, distance to freight handling sites, easy access to freight handling sites, and prompt problem solving. This area requires further intensive management. Both importance and satisfaction are low in the 4th quadrant, involving the availability of collection service, storage space at freight handling sites, kindness of collection/delivery staff, kindness of outlet staff, and easy delivery checks. This area is a set of variables should be excluded from priority control targets. Conclusions - Based on the IPA, service factors that need priority controls because of high importance and low satisfaction include the credit card payment system, delivery service, distance to freight handling sites, easy access to freight handling sites, and prompt problem solving. The findings need to be applied to future marketing strategies for regular freight services and for developing competitiveness enhancement programs.

IPA분석을 통한 미취학 아동 급식의 급식서비스 품질특성 및 급식운영 평가 - 한국·중국·일본의 미취학 아동을 자녀로 둔 부모를 대상으로 - (An Evaluation of the Foodservice Quality and Management of Preschool Foodservice Establishments by IPA - Focusing on Parents of Preschoolers in Metropolitan Area of Korea, China and Japan -)

  • This study was targeted on the Korean, Chinese, and Japanese parents of preschoolers to investigate the importance and satisfaction of foodservice quality and the importance and performance of foodservice management of the preschool foodservice establishments. The present study conducted a survey on 390 randomly chosen parents of preschoolers (130 Korean, 130 Chinese, and 130 Japanese). Respondents' importance-satisfaction of foodservice quality characteristics and their importance-performance of foodservice management were measured. In order to test for differences between the groups, paired t-test, one way ANOVA, and IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) were performed. The results were as follows. The importance of foodservice quality was significantly higher than the satisfaction on all items, according to the parents of Korea, China, and Japan. The importance of foodservice quality was higher in Korean parents than in Chinese and Japanese parents. According to ISA results with foodservice quality characteristics, the characteristics with relatively low satisfaction but high importance (II quadrant) was 'Diversity of menu' in both Korean and Chinese parents, and 'Sanitation of tables and chairs' in both Korean and Japanese parents. The importance of foodservice management was significantly higher than performance on all items in Korean, Chinese and Japanese parents. The performance of foodservice management was higher in Chinese than in Japanese and Korean parents. According to IPA results with foodservice management, the management with relatively low performance but high importance (II quadrant) was 'Preparation' in Korean parents, and 'Facility and equipment' in Japanese parents. Therefore, the items with relatively low satisfaction (performance) and high importance should be well-managed.

대학 교직원의 대학 식당 급식서비스에 대한 만족도 평가 (Assessment of Customer Satisfaction of Foodservice Quality in University Employee Foodservices)

  • The purposed of the study was to assess customer satisfaction concerning foodservice quality characteristics by using developed DINESERV model for university employee foodservices. Specially, it was intended to develop the tool which assesses the differences between customer importance and perceptions of customer with actual foodservice delivery by university employee foodservices. Questionnaires were distributed to 300 un9iversity employees. Total 230 university employees responded with a usable response rate of 67.7%. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS programs for descriptive analysis and t-test. The results of the study are as follows: 1) Employees´first choice was distance when they select foodserveices. They answered their preference as the first factor when they order menu in the foodservices. The first complain factor concerning university foodservices was the taste of food. 2) Customers did not satisfied with the foodservice quality of university employee foodservices. Importance mean score of service quality was 3.81 out of 5 but percption mean score of service quality was 3.10. Importance mean score of food quality was 4.11 out of 5 but perception mean score of food quality was 2.96. 3) Customers´satisfaction of service quality by dimensions were as following order: assurance > reliability > responsiveness > empathy > tangibles. And customers´satisfaction of food quality by dimensions were as following order: nutrition > food > price > sanitation. There were no significant difference about customer satisfaction between contracted management and self-operated.

Exploratory study on effect of eco-friendly program in high school foodservice on adolescents' dietary behavior and satisfaction with foodservice

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of an eco-friendly foodservice program at a high school on dietary behaviors of students, awareness of importance of eco-friendly activities, and foodservice satisfaction. Methods: The survey was conducted with students at two schools in Gyeonggi, Korea. A total of 576 of 650 students were used for this study. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test, independent t-test, and factor analysis to test the two group's differences. Results: The practices of 'eat balanced meals' or 'finish all food on the plate' scored high (p < 0.001) in students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program than those who did not. Regarding awareness of the importance of eco-friendly activities, all attributes scored higher in students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program. All attributes for satisfaction except two scored higher (p < 0.05) in students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program. Principal Components Analysis (PCA) of the correlation showed that high subjective income status was positively associated with foodservice satisfaction. Conclusion: Students that participated in the eco-friendly foodservice program are highly aware of the importance of eco-friendly activities. They demonstrate more positive dietary behaviors and higher awareness of the importance of eco-friendly programs with greater foodservice satisfaction.

장애인 활동보조인 교육의 IPA 분석 : 평택 H대학 운영사례를 중심으로 (Importance Performance Analysis of personal assistants education for the disabled : Focused on management in Pyeongtaek, H university)

  • 이 연구에서는 활동보조인 교육 실시 결과를 바탕으로 중점적으로 개선되어야 하는 요인을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 중요도-만족도 분석을 실시하였다. 활동보조인 교육 중요도만족도 측정 문항의 요인구조, 상관성을 검증하고 IPA 메트릭스를 통해 각 요인들이 중점 개선, 개선 요망, 노력 지속, 현상 유지 중 어느 위치에 해당하는 지를 알아보았다. 또한 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 이 연구는 경기남부권의 활동보조인 교육에 참여하는 231명이 대상이었다. 연구결과, 활동보조인 교육은 '교육 운영'과 '교육과정'의 2개의 요인으로 탐색되었고, 대부분 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. IPA 분석결과 활동보조인 교육 운영에서는 '교육기간'이, 교육과정에서는 '실기수업'과 '이론수업' 요인이 중점 개선될 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교육기간은 활동보조인 교육 운영 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 이론수업은 활동보조인 교육과정 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 경기남부권 활동보조인 교육운영 기관에서 교육을 받은 대상자를 중심으로 중요도-만족도를 조사한 것으로 연구 결과를 일반화하는 데는 제한가 있을 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 활동보조인의 업무수행능력 제고를 위한 활동보조인 교육 중요도와 만족도를 분석하여 교육의 질을 개선하고자 하는 방안을 제시하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.

중국 휘주 지역 고촌락 문화경관 보전 관리 방안 - IPA 분석을 중심으로 - (Direction of Conservation and Management about Cultural Landscape of the Traditional Villages in Huizhou Region, China - Centered on IPA Analysis -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the conservation management direction about cultural landscape of the traditional villages in the area of Huizhou through the importance-performance analysis. The results of the survey on the importance - performance of 261 people who had many visits to various cultural landscapes of Huizhou villages such as Hongchun, Sidichun etc. are as follows. It was appeared that the item of 'good air' is the highest level of importance and satisfaction and is best condition. The item of 'historical conservation' is the high level of importance, but the level of satisfaction is low, so continuous improvement is necessary. The item of 'Old garden conservation' has high satisfaction but low importance, so it needs to improve its importance through subsequent improvement. The item of 'Keeping of old cemetary and old tower' has low importance and satisfaction but it is above average, so continuous maintenance is needed. The items of 'Preservation of stone gate' and 'Preservation of famous man's birth house' all have slightly higher satisfaction and lower importance. Both items are highly satisfied with their importance, so they should avoid excessive efforts and maintain the present status. Satisfaction with the item of 'water environment and water quality' was the lowest, and the problem of the present condition is the most serious, and a major improvement is needed. The importance and satisfaction of 'Commercial development of old villages' was the lowest among all items. This item is causing serious problems and should provide an overall improvement way to drastically improve the importance and satisfaction. Concentration is necessary to improve the environment of the whole villages, to protect the ecological plants and animals in old villages, to transfer and improve the culture of old villages, to maintain sustainability of the villages, and to protect old temple and old rock in old villages. As the level of satisfaction with sustainability is the lowest in the part of 'Concentrate here', there is a great concern about sustainability. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on sustainability and concentrate on sustainable development.
