  • Importance-performance analysis (IPA) is a simple and effective technique that can assist practitioners in prioritizing customer attributes to enhance service quality and visitor's satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to use the IPA-Kano model to examine the correlation of visitor's satisfaction and management matters and deduce the management priority. It classifies 14 visiting satisfaction attributes into basic factors (forest environments and staff/information center), performance factors (the natural landscape, trail facilities, forest status, easy access, and historical and cultural resources), and excitement factors (the value of natural monument, educational experiences, and entrance fee) to select the management priority according to the achievement (satisfaction). The management priority according to the performance is staff/information center > easy access > forest environment > trail facilities, historical and cultural resources, forest status, and natural landscape > entrance fee and educational experience > value of natural monument. By considering their performance, it further identifies development priorities for visitor's satisfaction improvement. These priorities allow local governments to deploy scarce resources to improve satisfaction.

The questionnaire requested information related to demographics, internet usage, contract foodservice company websites, and the evaluation of the websites. The data were analyzed using SPSS for windows(version 12.0). The results are summarized as follows. From the results of the factor analysis in evaluating the contract foodservice's websites, 7 factors were generated and were defined as technology & interactivity, customer service, interface, design & convenience, contents, communication, and offering of information. Of these, technology & interactivity(p<0.05), customer service(p<0.01), interface(p<0.05), design & convenience(p<0.001), content(p<0.01), communication(p<0.01), and offering of information(p<0.01) had a significant effects in terms of the on satisfaction with a website. Since the beta of the "design & convenience" factor(0.319) was the largest, it had the greatest effect on satisfaction. In the importance performance analysis, the respondents showed high recognition on the importance, but low recognition on the performance, of aspects such as menu composition, attraction of the website, offering a FAQ section, and the operation of Q&A. Also, the importance score for 'offered relevant websites' was significantly higher than the performance score. Therefore, contract foodservice companies should take into account these aspects for improving their websites.

A total of 247 completed responses were obtained from a convenient sample of female students in their twenties. The statistical analysis methods included factor analysis, an ANOVA, and a multiple regression analysis. First, clothing evaluation criteria included practicality, product trait, and symbolism. Second, a comparison of clothing evaluation criteria and clothing satisfaction in groups divided by fit-related factors showed significant differences. In particular, the fat body type group showed higher level of the product trait and the thin body type group showed lower level of clothing satisfaction. The high activity group showed higher levels of clothing evaluation criteria and lower level of clothing satisfaction. Third, body type perception (-) and activity importance (-), fit-related factors, and practicality (+), clothing evaluation criterion had significant effects on clothing satisfaction. • This study aims to enhance the life satisfaction of the elderly population in South Korea by exploring their satisfaction levels and identifying influencing factors. Utilizing data from the 17th Korean Welfare Panel, which includes 6,260 individuals aged 65 and older, this study employs independent sample t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that, in general, the life satisfaction of the elderly population was somewhat lower than that of the general adult population in all areas, except for job satisfaction and satisfaction with housing. Key factors influencing life satisfaction among the elderly population include demographic characteristics (gender, age, economic activity, residence, education level), subjective health status factors, financial factors (disposable income, monthly living expenses), and psychological factors (depression, self-esteem). Notably, psychological factors, particularly self-esteem and depression, profoundly affect all life satisfaction domains. Enhancing life satisfaction necessitates fostering positive self-perception and capabilities in the elderly population, suggesting the need for programs focused on positive emotional experiences. Moreover, depression significantly reduces life satisfaction, underscoring the importance of policy interventions to address negative emotions in this demographic. This study is expected to provide basic data for establishing concrete and effective policies for improving the quality of life for the elderly population. Additionally, by highlighting the importance of positive psychological factors, it is anticipated that the study will offer a new direction for improving the life satisfaction of the elderly population.
