직영 및 위탁 사업체 급식소 영양사에 대한 작업자 지향적 직무분석(제 1 보) : 직무 수행 능력 요건 (An Analysis of Competencies of Dietitians in Self-operated vs. Contracted Employee Foodservice by Worker-oriented Job Analysis Methodology)

  • The job characteristics and competencies of 285 dietitians in employee foodservices were investigated by worker-oriented job analysis methodology. The purposes of this study were to : a) determine the knowledge, abilities, skills and other characteristics(KASO, hereafter) needed for dietitians in two types of employee foodservice groups(self-operated vs. contracted) and b) the analysis of the degree of frequency and importance and entry requirements of KASO items listed below : their degree of frequency, the level of importance and their function as entry requirements. The 134 KASO items would be divided into 12 task categories. The questionnaire was mailed to 250 dietitians who are members of The Korean Dietetic Association Practice Group in self-operated foodservices(hereafter group A) and 250 dietitians who are employed in contracted foodservice companies(hereafter group B). Completed questionnaires were received from 285 dietitians(121 in self-operated, 164 in contracted) ; with a response rate of 57%. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS/win and the SAS/win packages. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) Analysis of the degree of frequency, importance and entry requirements of 134 KASO items in group A showed a high priority(score〉4.0) placed on 14 items in relation to dietetic tasks and 9 items in relation to human attributes, whereas in group B 19 items in relation to dietetic tasks and 11 items in relation to human attributes. 2) Comparing responses about the KASO items in the 12 task categories, there was a significant difference between the two sample groups with regard to degree of frequency : group A scored 3.29, group B scored 3.50(p〈0.01). With regard to importance of KASO items in 12 task categories, group A scored 3.78 and group B scored 3.88 showing no significant differences. With to entry requirements of KASO items in 12 task categories, group A scored 3.29 and group B scored 3.46 showing a significant difference(p〈0.05). 온라인 기록전시의 기능요건과 상대적 중요도 분석 (Analysis on Functional Requirements and Degree of Importance of Online Archival Exhibitions)

  • 디지털 콘텐츠를 전시하는 방식인 '온라인 전시'는 기록관에서 제공하는 또 하나의 기록정보서비스로 자리매김을 하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 오프라인 전시와 같은 역할과 기대효과를 제공할 수 있는 온라인 기록전시를 구축하기 위하여 필요한 기능요건을 도출하고 이에 대한 중요도 순위를 현재 온라인 기록전시 담당자에 의하여 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 온라인 기록전시의 핵심기능 3개를 도출하고 다양한 기능요소를 제안한 32편의 연구로부터 13개의 기능요건을 추출한 다음, 16명의 온라인 기록전시 담당자가 판단하는 기능요건의 상대적 중요도를 분석적 계층분석 방법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 온라인 기록전시 담당자들은 '정보전달 기능', '전시효과적 기능', '정보적 기능' 순으로 중요하다고 하였고 가장 중요하다고 판단한 상위 기능요건은 '심미성', '상호작용성', '사용성', '교육적 경험제공성', '홍보 및 전시활성화'이며, 낮은 중요도를 보인 기능요건은 '주제적 독창성'과 '내용적 포괄성'이다.

대학급식소의 운영특성에 따른 급식관리 평가 (Assessment of Food Service Management in University Food Service)

  • The objectives of this study were to characterize the food service managements in university food services. In a survey involving university food service centers throughout the country, the importance, performance scores and policies for food service management were investigated. Of the total 40 institutions surveyed, 23 were run directly by the institution, eight by contract, and nine by rental. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA using the SPSS program. Management system was evaluated separately for organization, human resources, finance, nutrition education, purchasing, quality control, sanitation and safety, and marketing for their relative importance, degree of performance, and policy establishment. It was found that the relative importance scored higher than the degree of performance and policy establishment. When rhe relative importance for the direct, contract and rental operations was compared, the rental operation scored the highest. Performance score of direct was the highest in direct operation. The findings of this research suggest that the university food service should be creative through systematic management, and further research is needed to evaluate various variables that influence productivity, such as employee morale, pleasant working environment, customer satisfaction, and introduction of TOM for university food services.

치위생과 학생이 인식하는 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도와 만족도 차이분석 (Analysis of dental hygiene instructions based on the importance and satisfaction of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to suggest an effective instruction method for dental hygiene students by determining the degree of importance and satisfaction that they attach to the courses. Methods: Data obtained from a survey that was conducted on 654 dental hygiene students were analyzed. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 23.0 was used for the statistical analysis. A paired t-test was conducted to detect the differences between the degree of importance that the respondents attached to the courses and the degree of satisfaction they achieved. A comparative analysis of the two was performed using the IPA analysis. Results: Regarding the items, the respondents found the environment most important, followed by the content, method, perspective, and assessment. Regarding satisfaction, they were most satisfied with the environment, followed by the perspective, method, content, and assessment. Regarding the importance of ideal teaching, the respondents gave the highest priority to 'a class in which the core content is summarized, emphasized, and explained.' The satisfaction was the highest toward 'PowerPoint-based classes in which the core content is well-organized.' Based on the results of the IPA analysis, the respondents regarded 16 items as requiring maintenance and continuous efforts, 12 items as low priority, and 4 items as requiring excessive efforts and timely improvement. Conclusions: An ideal class requires the instructor to utilize various teaching methods that would enable the students to comprehend the detailed teaching content and elicit active interaction and feedback from the students through easy-to-understand lectures that are appropriate for students.

의류제품유형과 상황에 따른 점포속성중요도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Importance Degree of Store Attribute According to Fashion Product Types and Task Situations)

  • The purposes of this study was to find out 1) the difference in the importance degree of store attribute according to interaction between fashion product types and task situations, 2) the difference in the importance degree of store attribute according to the patronized store types on the basis of fashion product types. The subjects were female adults who lived in Seoul. The sampling method was quota sampling. The data was obtained from 391 questionnaires. The data were analyzed using frequency, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, and two-way ANOVA by means of SPSS. The results were as follows; 1. According to fashion product types and task situations, there were significant differences in factors of product features, services, physical environments of the store, and price. 2. According to interaction between fashion product types and task situations, there were significant differences in factors of product features, services, physical environments of the store, and price. 3. There were significant differences in factors of product features, services, physical environments of the store, and location of store according to patronized store types, when a consumer purchased a suit, casual wear and inner wear.

Importance of the Degree of Antigen Polymerization by Detoxification in Modulating the Immunogenicity of Acellular Pertussis Vaccine

  • For the acellular pertussis vaccine with a high immunogenicity, the concentration, composition and characteristics of acellular pertussis antigens are the crucial points to be considered. Nevertheless, it has not been proved yet whether or not the polymerization degree, one of the characteristics of formalin-detoxified acellular pertussis antigens, has an influence on vaccine potency. Thus, in the present study, the correlations among detoxification conditions of acellular pertussis bulks, their polymerization degrees and their immunogenicities were examined. In addition, the relative importance of pertussis toxoid in vaccine immunogenicity was also investigated. Results show that a lower lysine concentration during detoxification induces highly-polymerized antigens, the immunogenicity has a great dependency on the polymerization degree of antigens, and also pertussis toxoid has a relatively stronger influence on the immunogenicity than other antigens. Accordingly, in the aspect of the potency of detoxified acellular pertussis vaccine, it can be demonstrated that the polymerization of antigens and its degree are the major factors affecting the immunogenicity along with a relatively high content of pertussis toxoid

거주자의 공동주택관리 업무에 대한 인식과 관리참여 의사 (Residents′ Attitudes toward Multi-Family Housing Management and their Intention to Participate)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the residents' opinions on the degree of importance, and satisfaction with, the managerial service of multi-family housing. Residents' participation in managerial activities was also examined, because residents' opinions should be taken into serious consideration in order to improve the efficiency of housing management. Research methods used in this study were survey, field study, and content analysis of professionals' opinions. Survey data of 520 residents who live in multi-family housing were analyzed by means, frequencies, correlation, chi-square tests, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc estimation (Scheffee test), and regression. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, many residents were dissatisfied with the quality of managerial service, but they thought that managerial services were very important. For example, they thought that safety inspection of the playground was very important, yet the current level of service was not satisfactory. Second, the characteristics of residents that determined the degree of residential satisfaction were income the location of the residence, and degree of participation in the community events. Third, the residents generally did not want to participate in the managerial services and community programs through such activities as participation in resident committee. In order to improve the housing management efficiency, residents' participation is critical. Some participants in this study pointed out that the details of management service and future plans need to be made public. New management models need to be developed to promote residents' participation and increase their satisfaction in the management.

병원코디네이터의 직무성과 인식 (A Study on Performance Perceptions of Hospital Coordinators)

  • The goal of this paper is to estimate firm performance of hospital coordinators through a survey on employees of medical institutions placed in Busan and Ulsan. The survey for this paper is constituted by 34 questions of 4 groups related to firm performance, qualification requirement, general fact and a certificate of qualification. The survey was carried out from September 12th, 2008 to September 24th 2008 and 388 question sheets collected finally and used for result analysis. In the result analyses related to hospital coordinator and firm performance, we found some principal outcomes such that 88.6% of respondents approved that hospital image by patients and customers is raised, 87.7% of respondents approved that degree of patient's satisfaction on hospital services is raised, and 81.5% of respondents approved that employees recognized importance of services on customers, by hospital coordinators. In the result analysis on differences in firm performance by presence of a certificate of qualification for hospital coordinator, there were meaningful differences in degree of patient's satisfaction, financial performance and degree of employee's recognition on importance of services. From the all of the above results, we verified that establishment and improvement of educational process for hospital coordinator should be performed through researches on degree of patient's and costumer's satisfaction for hospital coordinator, degree of hospital coordinator's satisfaction for the job and surveys of requirements from related industry.

부산지역 외국인 유학생의 대학급식 이용실태 및 급식 품질 속성에 대한 중요도-만족도 조사 (An Evaluation on the Attitudes and Importance-Satisfaction on Service Quality of University Foodservice among International Students in Busan)

  • Objectives: This study examined the usage status and the degree of satisfaction of university foodservice (UF) perceived by international students in Busan. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on the utilization of UF, improvement requirements, preference type and recipe, as well as the importance and satisfaction of UF quality attributes as perceived by international students (n=604) at universities in the Busan area between April and June 2017. Results: UF was 'generally satisfied' or 'very satisfied' in about 35.4% of the study population, and 'not very satisfied' or 'not satisfied at all' in approximately 11.5%. Approximately 21.7% said that UF contributed to dietary life 'very much' or 'quite significantly' and 36.4% said 'not very much' or 'not at all'. The largest demand for improvement of UF was 'variety of menu' (52.0%). The most leftover food in UF was kimchi (30.3%) and broth/stew (19.2%), and the major reason for having leftover was 'not to one's taste' (27.8%). After dividing the foodservice quality attributes into 5 factors - food quality and price, sanitation, convenience, physical environment, and service environment - and analyzing the importance and satisfaction of each factor, it was shown that satisfaction was generally lower than the degree of importance. Sanitation factor was high for both importance and satisfaction of UF, while convenience factor was high for the importance but low for satisfaction of UF. Four variables in the food quality and price factor ('food taste', 'freshness of food', 'nutritive value of food', and 'reasonable price') and 3 variables in the convenience factor ('variety of menu', 'prompt food service', and 'display of the meals for the day') had high importance but low satisfaction, showing the need for an improvement on these areas. Conclusions: Based on the study results, it is necessary to improve the food quality, as well as the price and convenience factors, and to provide various menus to increase the satisfaction of UF in international students.

조혈모세포이식 아동 가족의 교육 요구 (Educational Needs of Families of Children Undergoing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the educational needs of families of children who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and to compare these needs with the educational importance as perceived by nurses. Methods: The participants were 44 families of children who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and 50 nurses who cared for these children. Data was collected through self-report questionnaires which included items on educational needs and the degree of educational importance. The data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN program. Results: The educational needs of families before and after transplantation were high, with items on disease and treatment, and direct care ranked as most important, respectively. The degree of educational importance as perceived by nurses was different from that of families. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the educational needs of families before hematopoietic stem cell transplantation were different from those after the procedure. Also, the perception of educational importance was different for families compared to nurses. Therefore nursing education programs based on the educational needs of families should be provided.
