  • This study is the result of a fuzzy-AHP-based evaluation of the support policy for the export of Chinese software, for which nine Class 1 evaluation indexes were established. Following a survey of 10 Chinese software experts, fuzzy AHP was used to assess and evaluate the absolute and relative importance of each index. The evaluation revealed that the support policy had relatively positive effects. More specifically, the analysis showed that several indices - technology development, HR development, marketing reinforcement, fund support, platform establishment, and product support - carried relatively significant importance. Quality management and tax deductions, on the other hand, showed no importance, while the importance of international certification was relatively small. In light of these discoveries, there is a need to train experts, increase software quality, and reconsider software brands.

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a capacity that instructors need to build for making instructional design based on consolidated technology. Accordingly this study explores instructors' awareness of the importance and performance of TPACK and to inquire into their relationships with epistemological beliefs and social support as relevant factors through a survey carried out with 264 instructors. The study has shown that there is a significant difference between college instructors' awareness of the importance of TPACK and their awareness of its performance. Furthermore, it has shown that the awareness of importance and performance of TPACK is significantly related to the social support, and that among the sub-factors of the social support, significant influences are observed from the emotional support on their awareness of the importance of TPACK and from the informational support on their awareness of the performance of TPACK. These results provide fundamental data for measures to develop and support TPACK capacity of college instructors, suggesting that it requires a teaching support strategy to enhance social support for instructors above all things.

  • The aim of this study is to identify intelligent learning support functions in Learning Management System (LMS) to support university student learning activities during the transition from face-to-face classes to online learning. To accomplish this, we investigated the perceptions of students on the levels of importance and urgency toward learning support functions of LMS powered with Artificial Intelligent (AI) technology and analyzed the differences in perception according to student characteristics. As a result of this study, the function that students considered to be the most important and felt an urgent need to adopt was to give automated grading and feedback for their writing assignments. The functions with the next highest score in importance and urgency were related to receiving customized feedback and help on task performance processed as well as results in the learning progress. In addition, students view a function to receive customized feedback according to their own learning plan and progress and to receive suggestions for improvement by diagnosing their strengths and weaknesses to be both vitally important and urgently needed. On the other hand, the learning support function of LMS, which was ranked as low importance and urgency, was a function that analyzed the interaction between professors and students and between fellow students. It is expected that the results of this student needs analysis will be helpful in deriving the contents of learning support functions that should be developed as well as providing basic information for prioritizing when applying AI technology to implement learner-centered LMS in the future.

  • According to IMO, MASS is defined as a vessel operated at various levels independent of human interference. The safety navigation support service for MASS is designed to improve the safety and efficiency of MASS by developing public services on shore for ship arrivals/departures and for cargo handling. The safety navigation support service consists of a total of six types of services: autonomous operation, berthing/unberthing/mooring, cargo handling and ship arrival/departure service, PSC inspection, condition monitoring, and accident response support services. In order to support accident response service, the relative importance of a bridge navigational equipment was assessed by stratifying the navigation system to provide safe and efficient support services by objective judgment through specific and quantitative methods using AHP, one of decision-making methods used by an expert group. The survey was conducted by dividing the bridge navigational equipment into depth, location, and speed information. As a result of applying the AHP method, the importance of depth, location, and speed information was assessed. The relative importance of each equipment for providing location information was also assessed in order of Radar, DGPS, ECDIS, Gyro compass, Autopilot, and AIS. This was similar to survey results on the utilization of each operator's preference and its impact on marine accidents.
