Since Seoul was selected as the world design capital at the end of 2007, the endeavors to modernize the Korean unique beauty is becoming more tangible. Especially, the commercial spaces to be used by the general public and tourists have the value for study in the respect that such spaces for the national iconic images and have a large and far-reaching effect to transmit the national identity. Therefore, this study analyzed the design coordination properties in the Koreanity expression found in the modern commercial spaces. the foundation for the analysis was based on Leonard Koren's work on the arrrangement rhetoric theory, 'Arranging things(2003), and the contents of Korean expression were reviewed with professional jounals. the results are as follows: First, the design coordination properties in the Koreanity expression shown in modern commercial spaces are black-white contrast, natural materials, curved shapes, brevity, and simple beauty. Especially, some elements such as wood, traditional Korean papers, stones, mid-to-low chroma natural colors, checked patterns, and crazy patterns are used with overlapping and it is viewed that it is necessay to more aggressively seek for the disappeared traditional elements in the Korean modeling properties. Second, the concrete images of Korean expressions could be summarized as four adjective image groups, Natural, Subtitle, Gentle and Magnificent.

In this study, a system to increase the expressiveness of existing standard terminology using three-dimensional (3D) data is designed. We analyze the existing medical terminology system by searching the reference literature and perform an expert group focus survey. A human body image is generated using a 3D modeling tool. Then, the anatomical position of the human body is mapped to the 3D coordinates' identification (ID) and metadata. We define the term to represent the 3D human body position in a total of 12 categories, including semantic terminology entity and semantic disorder. The Blender and 3ds Max programs are used to create the 3D model from medical imaging data. The generated 3D human body model is expressed by the ID of the coordinate type (x, y, and z axes) based on the anatomical position and mapped to the semantic entity including the meaning. We propose a system of standard terminology enabling integration and utilization of the 3D human body model, coordinates (ID), and metadata. In the future, through cooperation with the Electronic Health Record system, we will contribute to clinical research to generate higher-quality big data.

This study has incorporated the mechanics-dynamics-emotions (MDE) and two behavioral learning paths to investigate the customers' co-creation behavior in Taiwan. The intuitive path begins with a gamification design that reflects the customers' proactive and innovative behavior; the cognitive path begins with persuasion knowledge remarks based on rational and reactive reasoning. These two paths conclude what forms user co-creation. The study collects data of 505 active social media users in Taiwan and employs structural equation modeling. The empirical findings demonstrate persuasive knowledge and gamification design are significantly associated with self-reference, and in turn, positively associated with co-creation. It indicates that cognitive behavior plays the main role in forming co-creation. Participants are more drawn to co-creation behaviors by the marketing contents that prompt reactive behaviors than proactive ones. Therefore, marketing managers can use appropriate stimuli to enhance co-creation behavior. Companies can design activities related to users, and more accessible for reactive, instead of proactive behavior, i.e., asking for their initiatives. It also suggests that companies' marketing campaigns should involve key opinion leaders matching the product image and the target audience's preferences. The novelty of this study is to introduce a novel augmented MDE framework to extend the "dynamics" into the incubation and implementation stage.
Venturi tube is based on turbulent flow, whereby the microbubbles can be generated by the turbulent fragmentation. This phenomenon is common in several venturi bubblers used by the nuclear, aerospace and chemical industries. The first objective of this paper is to study the liquid-phase velocity field experimentally and develop correlations for the turbulent quantities. The second objective is to research velocity field characteristics theoretically. Stereoscopic PIV measurements for the velocity field have been analyzed and utilized to develop the turbulent kinetic energy in the venturi tube. The tracking properties of the tracer particles have been verified enough for us to analyze the turbulence field. The turbulence kinetic energy has a bimodal distribution trend. Also, the results of turbulence intensity along the horizontal direction is gradually uniform along the downstream. Both the mean velocity and the fluctuation velocity are proportional to the Reynolds number. Besides, the distribution trend of the mean velocity and the velocity fluctuation can be determined by the geometric parameters of the venturi tube. An analytical function model for the flow field has been developed to obtain the approximate analytical solutions. Good agreement is observed between the model predictions and experimental data.

As environmental issues have been increased globally, eco-friendliness in the construction area, which accounts for more than 30% of total GHG gas emission has being urged. In response, the Korean government has implemented G-SEED(Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design) certification from 2002. However, total number of certified apartment buildings is only around 1% of total number of approved apartment buildings. As a basic research to find out reasons of low rate of the certification, this paper analyzes consumers' decision-making process in G-SEED certified apartment building market comparing to non G-SEED certified one and draw System Dynamics modeling based on causal relationship. As a result, consumers' demand for the certified one is increased by 'Perceived Relative Utility' which is resulted from comparison process with non-certified one. The 'Perceived Relative Utility' is ascended upward steadily by 'Relative Perceived Price' considered as relatively short-term effect and 'Favorable Image of Certified Housing' referred to long-term effect.
PURPOSES : Daejeon is basically divided into an old downtown and a new downtown, and the recent relocation of the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government of Republic of Korea from the old downtown and the opening of governmental buildings in the new downtown as well have made this new downtown only densely populated with industrial and business facilities. Such changes in the downtowns have promoted the conditions of the new downtown while, consequently, dragging down the old downtown. Out of concern for those unbalanced developments of the two downtowns, Daejeon is now carrying out several city projects to revive the old downtown. In the light of that, as a part of the project to promote the old downtown, this study aims to conduct an evaluation on landscape of the culture and arts street in Daeheungdong which was built upon those ideas of a theme street project by Daejeon. METHODS : Based on the findings from the questionnaire not only on the components that would design the streetscape of the culture and arts street but also on the public satisfaction with the streetscape, the study defined how those changes in the components affect emotional factors of the pedestrians. In order to achieve the research goal, the study made changes in D/H ratio of the street structural components as well as the roadside trees. In terms of the questionnaire method, the study used the SD scale, and proceeded with its investigation through the frequency analysis, the principal component analysis (the factor analysis) and the structural equation model. RESULTS : According to the results from the factor analysis and the regression analysis, of those three factors, such as the openness, the comfortable sensation and the safety, the openness followed by the comfortable sensation and the safety was determined to have the most positive influence on the total satisfaction. The structural model analysis reported that the D/H and the structural components of the roadside trees and planting have a positive effect on the emotional image, and this emotional image also appeared to be positively related to the total satisfaction. CONCLUSIONS : This study looked into how the changes in the street structural components of the culture and arts street in Daeheungdong would affect the satisfaction with the streetscape, and finally confirmed that the D/H and the planting are what would have a positive effect on this satisfaction. What has been learned from this study will be the basic data to figure out how to promote and improve the culture and arts street in Daeheung-dong as this data will also help designing and developing of those specialized streets in other regions.

Steganalysis is to detect information hidden by steganography inside general data such as images. There are stegoanalysis techniques that use machine learning (ML). Existing ML approaches to steganalysis are based on extracting features from stego images and modeling them. Recently deep learning-based methodologies have shown significant improvements in detection accuracy. However, all the existing methods, including deep learning-based ones, have a critical limitation in that they can only detect stego images that are created by a specific steganography method. In this paper, we propose a generalized steganalysis method that can model multiple types of stego images using deep learning. Through various experiments, we confirm the effectiveness of our approach and envision directions for future research. In particular, we show that our method can detect each type of steganography with the same level of accuracy as that of a steganalysis method dedicated to that type of steganography, thereby demonstrating the general applicability of our approach to multiple types of stego images.

In image-based CFD modeling of carotid bifurcation hemodynamics, it is often not possible (or at least not convenient) to impose measured velocity profiles at the common carotid artery inlet. Instead, fully-developed velocity profiles are usually imposed based on measured flow rates. However, some studies reported a pronounced influence of inflow boundary conditions that were based on actual velocity profiles measured by magnetic resonance imaging which showing the unusual presence of a high velocity band in the middle of the vessel during early diastole inconsistent with a Dean-type velocity profile. We demonstrated that those velocity profiles were induced by the presence of modest secondary curvature of the inlet and set about to test whether such more "realistic" velocity profiles might indeed have a more pronounced influence on the carotid bifurcation hemodynamics. We found that inlet boundary condition with axisymmetric fully-developed velocity profile(Womersley flow) is reasonable as long as sufficient CCA inlet length of realistic geometry is applied.

The purpose of this study is to provide instructive theoretical models for art (music) education institutions especially when unpredictable risks, such as pandemics, occur again. Based on the customer behavior theory of the business-to-business-to-customer (B2B2C) platform, and in combination with the technology acceptance model (TAM) and expectation confirmation model (ECM), this study proposes an online education model from the perspective of art education. The framework is based on the three decision-making processes of the customer, and includes the product owner, content owner, and customer area. This paper highlights the factors that influence customers in making decisions when art education institutions are product owners. Regression analysis was introduced to study the factors influencing the expectation confirmation, and the overall fitting testing and six hypotheses testing of 385 effective samples were performed using the structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that the course-design and after-service positively influenced the expectation confirmation, and the domain image positively influenced the continuance behavior. Negative emotions skipped the mediator (expectation confirmation) and directly exerted a significant negative impact on customers' willingness to continue system usage (continuance behavior). In addition, expectation confirmation positively influenced continuance behavior. The paths of detailed items comprising course-design, after-service, and negative emotion were also analyzed and discussed. In this path analysis, ordinary art learners did not believe that AI partners can play a very good auxiliary role. The findings contribute to the scope of information systems acting as an art education platform academically, and provide effective and theoretical support for the actual operation of art education institutions.
