Kobayashi 스케일과 I.R.I 스케일을 사용한 LED 광색의 형용사 이미지 분석 (The Analysis of Emotion Adjective for LED Light Colors by using Kobayashi scale and I.R.I scale)

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the emotion adjectives for light emitting diode(LED) light colors using a twofold adjective image scales from Kobayashi and I.R.I. A set of psychophysical experiments using category judgment was conducted in an LED light color simulation system, in order to evaluate each emotion scale coordinate for those test light colors in both adjective image scales. In total, 49 test light colors from a combination of 6 color series were assessed by 15 human observers. As a result, Kobayashi adjective image scale clearly expressed to emotion adjectives of 'Dynamic', 'Casual', 'Chic', 'Cool-casual', 'Modern', and 'Natural' for different hues. In contrast, I.R.I adjective image scale expressed only 2 adjectives of 'dynamic' and 'luxurious' for the all hues.

  • This study is meaningful in figuring out how much the Korean people's awareness of hanok has increased even though interest in hanok has also increased due to the Korean Wave craze. Therefore, with respect to the exterior of hanok, which is visually recognized first, the level of experts and ordinary people is grasped through a semantic discrimination scale, and the degree of visual recognition is to be investigated centering on the color image of hanok buildings. This is the process of thinking about how the Korean image should be reflected in the design, and we want to suggest the direction that modern hanok should go. The study compared and analyzed the difference in visual color based on the elevation of the hanok using a 7-point and 5-point scale method for the general public and experts, and utilized the IRI adjective vocabulary scale and the color matching image scale to construct new hanoks with insufficient differences in appearance and shape. It can be applied to design and image preservation and construction of existing hanok.

대학도서관 웹 페이지의 색채이미지 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Color Image of the Web Pages of University Libraries)

  • 이미 운용되고 있는 우리나라 국립대학 도서관 웹 페이지의 색채이미지를 분석하여, 웹 페이지를 디자인하는데 있어서 배색이미지와 형용사이미지에 관한 정보와 방향을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 분석방법은 색채감성척도를 사용하여 분석대상 사이트에 대한 RGB값을 찾아내어 Color Chip을 추출하였으며, 배색이미지와 형용사이미지로 구분하였다. 연구의 범위는 우리나라 국립대학도서관협의회에 가입되어 있는 41개 국립대학 도서관을 대상으로 하였으며, 그 결과 많은 대학이 흰색이나 회색의 배색 바탕에다, 연한 청색계열의 색조와 녹색계열의 배색이 주를 이루었고, 형용사 이미지는 경쾌한 이미지와 밝은 이미지가 많았으며, 다음으로는 은은한 이미지, 우아한 이미지 순으로 나타났다.

  • 칼라 이미지 스케일은 칼라 전문가들의 지식에 의해 획득되고, 형용사와 대응되는 칼라(들)을 선택하기 위해 동일한 형용사 이미지 스케일들에서 형용사들과 칼라를 표현한다. 이들은 이미지 스케일을 얻기 위한 실험과 통계분석의 어려움 때문에 일반적으로, 단지 제한된 수의 칼라들만이 이미지 스케일에 위치한다. 이는 칼라를 선택하는 과정을 비전문가에게 어렵게 만든다. 본 논문에서는 이미지 스케일에 따라 연속적인 칼라를 제공하는 퍼지 K-근접 이웃 보간 방법에 기초를 둔 칼라 이미지 스케일의 보간 방법을 제안한다. 실험의 결과들은 보간된 이미지 스케일은 칼라 선택 과정에 있어 실용적으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이라 본다.

색채 분석을 통한 학교도서관 실내 이미지 연구 (A Study of the Interior Image based on the Color Analysis in School Libraries)

  • 본 연구 목적은 학교급별 학교도서관에 사용된 색채를 분석하고 색채가 주는 형용사 이미지를 파악하는 것이다. 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교의 15개 학교도서관 이미지를 KSCA프로그램을 이용하여 색채를 추출하여 색상, 명도, 채도를 분석하였다. 또한 추출된 색을 I.R.I 이미지 스케일을 이용하여 형용사를 파악하였다. 분석 결과, 색상은 초등학교와 고등학교에서는 YR (Yellow Red), N (Neutral), Y (Yellow) 계열 순으로 사용되었으나 중학교에서는 YR (Yellow Red), N (Neutral), R (Red) 계열 순으로 나타났다. 모든 학교도서관에 사용된 색채의 명도는 평균적으로 중명도가 사용되었으며, 채도는 낮은 채도로 이루어져 있었다. 색채의 형용사 이미지는 '점잖은'이라는 형용사가 학교도서관에서 가장 많이 도출되었다. 학교도서관은 학교급별로 공간구성 색채에 있어 특별한 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 비슷한 색채와 형용사 이미지를 가진 것으로 나타났다.

대학교 정문의 형태적 특성에 대한 심리적 반응척도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Psychological Response Scale of the Feature Characteristics of the Main Gates of Universities)

  • The main gate of university is a symbolic role to grasp the its activities within a limited area. The form or shape is various at its circumstances such as activity type, region, etc. The study aimed at offering the information to grasp the fixed quantity to an university gate plan which analyzed a psychological judgment criteria according to form or shape characteristics of the university main gate. It selected ten universities through a classification of the types. The twenty adjective phrases were extracted by review of the further research. After then, it extracted to draw high adjective in observers visual image formation. This study analyzed the preference, symbolized representation of the university main gate. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The symbol and representation of form has a high correlation. In other words, the symbolic scale would be high positively when the representation scale be high. 2. Eight items among the twenty adjective items appeared to explain the university main gates. The twelve items of them wouldn't be related to grasp the main gate

환경색채 추출을 통한 농촌마을 지붕 개선색채 선정방법에 관한 연구 (An Approach to Determining Rural Rooftop Color by Environmental Color Extraction)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the color preference on rural rooftop color. Today, public profit value of a rural community has been heavily recognized in the areas of preservation of pro-environmental and traditional life styles and foundation of collective community. Comparatively with urban, rural town conserves the scenic of those days when the historic landscape existed. Therefore, elements of historic and tradition in rural town are interesting resources to people who want traditional experience. Color is one of the most influenced elements for the image of Landscape. On the other hand, radical modernization has brought conflicting color element that does not blend with existing environmental color. Among others, roof represents one of the important traits of rapidly developing rural community due to vast amount of space it covers. In order to come up with more appropriate coloring scheme, it is necessary determine color that forms a balance with present conditions of rural life and historic landscape. This study provides more objective rooftop coloring selection process by employing additional surveys regarding color image adjective. I justified necessity of the balance between environmental color and roof color through analyzing correlation between environmental color of the rural town and Color Image Scale of the preliminary selection of roofs.

감성 척도 맵 개발 및 패션 브랜드의 감성이미지 비교 연구 - 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 웹사이트 배색 이미지를 중심으로 - (Development of the Emotional Scale Map and Comparison of Emotional Scale between Fashion Brand Image and Brand Website Coloration Image)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose some plan which could satisfy consumer's expectation emotional needs by comparing emotional scale between fashion brand image and brand website coloration image. For this study, 12 brand websites within four fashion zone, men's clothing, women's clothing, casual wear, and sports wear were chosen. The questionnaires were comprised of 27 emotional adjectives which were selected from previous studies. The questionnaires were distributed to university students and office workers for 3 to 17 on September. Among them, 118 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS tool. The qualitative analysis for emotional adjective sorting, content analysis for website color chip sorting, and quantitative analysis for consumers were used in this study. Some differences exist between brand image and website coloration band image as the result. As the numbers of internet user became larger, the costumer's emotional image which gives maximum satisfaction is getting more important in fashion brand website. Therefore, fashion website managers should satisfy consumers with functional and emotional needs.

생육환경에 따른 보호수 이미지 평가 - 예산군 느티나무를 중심으로 - (The study on the Image Evaluation of a Preserved Tree as Growth Environment - Focused on the Zelkova serrata in Yesangun -)

  • To evaluate the value of a preserved tree as rural landscape resource, the growth environment and health condition was investigated, and the image evaluation was implemented on land~ape architectural major undergraduate students for zelkova trees in Yesan-gun. The image evaluation results of zelkova trees were as followings; 1) Typical image of preserved tree examined by Semantic Differential Scale were 'Old', 'Big', and 'Good'. 2) The 'big' image of zelkova tree and the height of tree, the width of tree crown, the breast girth of tree, the root girth of tree, the external formation of tree, and the health of tree bark is mutually related. Especially, the correlation between the 'big' and the external formation and the width of tree crown is high. 3) Typical image of preserved tree examined by Likert Scale were 'Natural', 'Green', 'Peaceful', and 'Rural'. 4) The preservation necessity for preserved tree was highly related with the state of ground, and the management necessity for preserved tree was highly related with contamination level and the state of ground. The appropriate management plan for preserved tree are proposed to improve the quality of rural landscape(basis of these results).
