A Study on the Impact of CSR Activities and Risk Management on the Corporate Image and Sustainability of Financial Services Companies (금융서비스 기업의 CSR 활동과 리스크 관리가 기업 이미지와 지속가능성에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Unlike in the past, the environment related to CSR activities of financial services companies changed, such as lower interest rates, easier access to knowledge and the environment for risk management of financial services companies changed, including global economic instability, increased regulations, and exposure of new technologies associated with operating methods. This study examined the effects of CSR activities and risk management on sustainability and mediating effects of corporate image among financial service companies. The result of the study are as follows. First, the CSR's legal responsibilities, management in disaster risk and strategic risks of financial service enterprise have positive effect on sustainability, however, the management of CSR's ethical responsibilities, discretionary responsibilities, operational and financial risks have shown to have negative effect Second, CSR's legal responsibilities, discretionary responsibilities and the management of disaster risks act as mediating role between corporate image and sustainability. As a result, when financial service enterprises concentrate on managing CSR's Legal responsibilities and disaster risks, it was found that the corporate image improves and enhancement of sustainability.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the UCC services prototype system for image and video. The proposed system consists of the two components such as the multimedia processing subsystem and the metadata management subsystem, and provides the API to UCC service developers. The multimedia processing subsystem supports the media management and editing of image and video, and the streaming services of video. The metadata management subsystem supports the metadata management and retrieval of image and video, and the reply management and script processing of UCC.

EPD File Generation System Based on Template for Choosing E-paper Contents Layout

  • We propose EPD(Electrophoretic Display) file generation system based on template that enable users to choose contents layout for E-paper display. And also we show implementation results that apply the proposed system in digital doorsign management field adopting E-paper display. Template includes information for contents layout which is composed of standard form image to be used as background image, coordinates of area for dynamic data to be inserted, data source about dynamic data, and characteristic data of EPD panel for displaying contents. System administrator registers templates in Forms Server. When user chooses a contents layout, Forms Server automatically generates EPD file for displaying contents in E-paper by using information of the template and sends EPD file into doorsign. Strength of the proposed system lies in reflecting user preference about contents design and adding personal data into E-paper contents by smartphone application.

  • geoContents have been closely related with personal life since the Google Earth and Street View by Google and the Road View by Daum were introduced. So, Location-based content, which is referred to geoContents, involving geometric spacial information and location-based image information is a sharp rise in demand. A mobile mapping system used in the area of map upgrade and road facility management has been having difficulties in satisfying the demand in the cost and time for obtaining these kinds of contents. This paper addresses geoData acquisition and processing system for producing panoramic images. The system consists of 3 devices: the first device is 3 GPS receivers for acquiring location information which is including position, attitude, orientation, and time. The second is 6 cameras for image information. And the last is to synchronize the both data. The geoData acquired by the proposed system and the method for authoring geoContents which are referred to a panoramic image with position, altitude, and orientation will be used as an effective way for establishing the various location-based content and providing them service area.

  • $360^{\circ}$panoramic image can give people an unprecedented visual experience, and there are many different ways to make a $360^{\circ}$panoramic image. In this paper, we will introduce two easy and effective methods from those many ways. The first one is through 48 photos to make a $360^{\circ}$panoramic image, the second way is through 6 photos to make a $360^{\circ}$panoramic image. We will compare those methods and tell the audience which one suits themselves. Through those easy design methods introduced above, we can see VR works design became easy and popular, normal people can also make $360^{\circ}$panoramic image, and it promotes the industry of VR image contents.

  • With the rapid growth of internet infrastructure, World Wide Web is evolving recently into various services such as cloud computing, social network services. It simply go beyond the sharing of information. It started to provide new services such as E-business, remote control or management, providing virtual services, and recently it is evolving into new services such as cloud computing and social network services. These kinds of communications through World Wide Web have been interested in and have developed user-centric customized services rather than providing provider-centric informations. In these environments, it is very important to check and analyze the user requests to a website. Especially, estimating user preferences is most important. For these reasons, analyzing web logs is being done, however, it has limitations that the most of data to analyze are based on page unit statistics. Therefore, it is not enough to evaluate user preferences only by statistics of specific page. Because recent main contents of web page design are being made of media files such as image files, and of dynamic pages utilizing the techniques of CSS, Div, iFrame etc. In this paper, large log analyzer was designed and executed to analyze web server log to estimate web contents preferences of users. With mapreduce which is based on Hadoop, large logs were analyzed and web contents preferences of media files such as image files, sounds and videos were estimated.

  • Nowadays, as the quantity of multimedia information increases rapidly, an efficient management for multimedia has become more important. In this paper, to index and search multimedia contents efficiently, we designed the algorithm searching specific image and saving the extracted image using the semantic information extraction scheme based on contents and it is one of the schemes to indexing and searching of video data. After extracting the RGB information from input image, while all frames of video is inspected sequentially, the specific image is saved through referring to the position and distribution of contents from the collection scheme of RGB range. In case of using the proposed image extraction algorithm, because only saved video is searched instead of the whole the searching time can be reduced.

  • There are many research for efficient, robust and invisible watermarking system that protects the digital contents like a image and animation according to growth of IT industry. First of all, frequency domain watermarking system like DWT(Descrete Wavelet Transform) is excellent because of minimum loss of original image and robustness of external attack. But, if we raise the insertion strength of watermark, then blazing of image occurs on existing DWT watermarking system and we should have a regular square image. In this study, we research the overflow check for preventing image from blazing and a robust and invisible watermarking algorithm. And we research a free-size DWT watermarking system using padding bytes, without a dependency of size.

  • The personal image information compiled through closed-circuit television (CCTV) will be open to the internet with the technology such as Long-Tail, Mash-Up, Collective Intelligence, Tagging, Open Application Programming Interface (Open-API), Syndication, Podcasting and Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX). The movie User Created Contents (UCC) connected to the internet with the skill of web 2.0 has the effects of abuse and threat without precedent. The purpose of this research is to develop the institutional and technological method to reduce these effects. As a result of this research, in terms of technology this paper suggests Privacy Zone Masking, IP Filtering, Intrusion-detection System (IDS), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), public key infrastructure (PKI), Hash and PDF Socket. While in terms of management this paper suggests Privacy Commons and Privacy Zone. Based on CCTV-UCC linked to the above network, the research regarding personal image information security is expected to aid in realizing insight and practical personal image information as a specific device in the following research.

  • Korean popular cultural content, "Hallyu", is prevalent in China, and those have changed some life styles of the Chinese people, who are crazy with it. Korean popular cultural content is more than a cultural phenomenon, it has enhanced the national image of the country and the tourism department, especially those popular products which are closely related to our daily life. From this point of views, the current study is to identify the relationship between Korean popular cultural contents, Korean image, and visiting intention to Korea. The questionnaire takes a volunteering method, and analyzed the general characteristics through SPSS21.0. Factor analysis and reliability analysis are provided in order to test the reliability and validity. As the result of the study, Korean popular cultural contents can enhance economic and culture image of Korea, and those are the main factor for the potential customers from China to visit Korea. This study can provide information for maintaining popular cultural contents and gives an implication for enhancing the Korean tourism policy.
