Recently, a wide variety of research on the knowledge-based industries, which are considered a key area of social science research, has been conducted. In this light, this study examines a case of knowledge diffusion taken from the IT service field. The IT service industry has been considered difficult to diffuse due to its unique technological regimes and sophisticated market demand. In particular, the established public service systems have limited markets and encompass national characteristics, thereby making their international diffusion difficult. However, despite these limitations, the automated customs system ASYCUDA has been distributed successfully and is now operating in about 100 countries, making the case very unusual. Using various industrial innovation models, and an analysis of lead markets, with regard to ASYCUDA, this research examines patterns of technological learning activities by actors, characteristics of the lead markets, and paths of technology transfer. The findings indicate that when active technology providers attempt to streamline and standardize the technology to make it suitable for the characteristics of the initial technology application areas(lead markets), this helps to diffuse the technology to passive recipients and the surrounding nations. The findings also confirm that south-south cooperation in the acquired technologies was of considerable help in sharing knowledge among the passive technology recipients, and that the active technology providers' programmed, well-organized technology assistance was a key driving force behind technology transfer and diffusion between the surrounding nations.

Photo-assisted wet chemical etching of GaN thin film was studied using KOH based solutions. A $2{\mu}m-2{\mu}m$ titanium line-and-space pattern was used as a etching mask. It is found that the etching characteristics of the GaN thin film is strongly dependent on the pattern direction by unisotropic property of KOH based solution. When the pattern was aligned to the [$11\bar{2}0$] directions, ($10\bar{1}n$)-facet is revealed constructing V-shaped sidewalls.

그 동안 IT서비스 업체들은 국내시장을 중심으로 고객사의 정보시스템 구축을 근간으로 하는 IT서비스를 제공하는 기업으로 자리매김해왔다. 그러나 IT가 다양한 산업기술들과 융합하여 산업간 컨버전스, Intelligence, Mobility를 가능하게 하는 기술인 스마트기술로 변모함에 따라, 그에 맞춰 IT서비스 사업모델도 그 영역이 점차 다양화되어 가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 트랜드에 맞추어 기업 내부적으로 기술의 다양화에 따른 서비스 전문화와 서비스 혁신을 추구하기 위해서 수행공학(HPT; Human Performance Technology)을 적용한 사례를 제시하고자 한다. 즉, 수행공학을 통하여 IT서비스의 사업방향을 스마트 기술을 중심으로 하는 방향으로 변화시키고, 사업을 수행하는 임직원들의 일하는 방법을 변화시키는 노력과 관련된 LG CNS사의 교육 프로그램 개발방법의 혁신 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

최근 많은 조직들이 IT를 경영전략의 핵심적 요소로 인식하고 IT투자를 확대하면서 IT의 효율적 관리와 전략적 활용의 중요성이 커짐에 따라 CIO 기능 강화와 IT 거버넌스 체제 구축에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 그러나 아직까지는 학계나 산업계에서 IT 거버넌스의 개념이 통일되어 있지 못하고, 구성요소와 체계 및 실행방법 등도 조직의 특성에 따라 매우 다양하게 접근되고 있다. 정부출연연 KISTI를 모델로 삼아 KISTI 정보화에 대한 총괄기획, 정책수립, 운영 프로세스 관리, 정보화사업 관리 등 기관정보화에 대한 총괄자로서의 CIO 역할과 IT 거버넌스 체제 구축 방안 연구를 통해 종합적이고 효율적인 정보화 추진 및 자산 관리 운영을 하고자 한다.

최근 창업 휴학제와 창업 강좌 등 창업 친화적인 학사제도가 확산대면서 대학생 기술 창업이 활성화되고 있다. 그러나 대학생의 기술창업이 성공적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 아직까지 해결되어야 할 많은 문제들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 높은 실업율과 평생취업이 힘든 사회적 환경 속에서 IT전공 대학생들이 기술 창업을 활성화하기 위한 창업영향요인들을 알아보고, 창업영향요인과 기술창업의지와의 관계를 분석한다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 IT전공 대학생을 대상으로 기술창업의지에 영향을 미치는 대학생의 기술능력과 창업가특성 및 창업동기, 외부창업환경 등의 평가 항목을 추출하여 IT 기술창업에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 분석결과, IT전공 대학생들은 취업의 대안으로 기술창업에 관심이 높았고, 기술능력과 창업가 특성 및 창업동기가 독립심과 취업의 대안에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 대학생 기술 창업에서 창업교육은 외부창업환경에 따라 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

최근 국내 건설 시장은 포화 및 성장률 둔화 등의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 디지털 컨버젼스 시대에 맞춰 IT기술을 융합함으로써 당면한 상황을 타개하려는 움직임을 흔히 볼 수 있다. 하지만, 건설산업은 IT융합의 여지가 매우 적었으며 단순히 IT기술을 필요에 따라 사용해 왔다. 다시 말해 건설 프로세스 전체가 아닌 일부 공정 공종으로 한정적으로 적용해 왔다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 건설 전(全) 프로세스와 관련하여 포괄적 관점에서 융합기술을 분석하여, 건설 IT융합 모델 개발 및 활용방향의 지표가 될 수 있는 프로세스 단계 별 적합한 유망 IT기술을 도출하고 나아가 효과적인 건설 IT융합의 기본방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Lately, there is a worldwide boom for start-ups. This trends has led to develop many policies for entrepreneurship in Korea, which focused on college education. Also, as the forth industrial revolution knows no borders, demands of software early education are expanding in line with strong interests in IT (Information Technology). Information technology is now an essential competency for all professionals who need creative thinking. And entrepreneurs are a representative job that requires creative thinking. This study suggests IT competencies-IT planning competencies (ITPC) and IT development competencies (ITDC)-as a core factor of the entrepreneurial intention. This paper is to study the relationship between IT competencies and entrepreneurial Intention. So we investigated IT competence and entrepreneurial intention in university students with a questionnaire. The results of this empirical study can be summarized as follows. First, IT planning competencies have positive influence on entrepreneurial attitude and intention. But IT development competencies do not influence directly on entrepreneurial intention. Second, entrepreneurial attitude have mediating effects in the relationship between IT planning competencies and entrepreneurial intention. So, we need to develop good contents related to the IT planning capabilities when organizing training programs in start-up course. In order to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education, it will be necessary to develop educational contents that can have a broad perspective for understanding the trends of technology convergence and creating opportunities.

We present a simple semiconductor process to fabricate nanogap arrays for application in molecular electronics and nano-bio electronics using a combination of freestanding silicon nanowires and angle evaporation. The gap distance is modulated using the height of the silicon dioxide, the width of the Si nanowires, and the evaporation angle. In addition, we fabricate and apply the nanogap arrays in single-electron transistors using DNA-linked Au nanoparticles for the detection of DNA hybridization.

A key factor of competitiveness of a firm is technology innovation including product and process innovation. This paper explores the importance and performance of innovation in IT industry across manufacturing and service business. Using importance-performance analysis based on a survey of Korean manufacturing and service firms, we find the characteristics of innovation in IT under the context of industry difference. Out study indicate that Korean IT firms need to recognize the importance of technology innovation and enhance the performance in some areas. In future research, we will expand the boundary of innovation into non-technology innovation as well as service-specific innovation.

This letter presents the design of a small and low-profile RFID tag antenna in the UHF band that can be mounted on metallic objects. The designed tag antenna, which uses a ceramic material as a substrate, consists of a radiating patch and a microstrip line with two shorting pins for a proximity-coupled feeding structure. Using this structure, impedance matching can be simply obtained between the antenna and tag chip without a matching network. The fractional impedance bandwidth for $S_{11}$ <3 dB and radiation efficiency are about 1.4% and 56% at 911 MHz, respectively. The read range is approximately from 5 m to 6 m when the tag antenna is mounted on a metallic surface.
