This survey was carried out to investigate the effect of self-consciousness of nutrition knowledge and health on the nutrition knowledge and on food habits between two groups of college women, a nutrition majors and a non-majors. Questionnaires were completed by 214 nutrition majors and by 145 nutrition non-major, Nutrition majors group scored significantly higher than nutrition non-majors in the nutrition knowledge. And nutrition non-majors scored significantly higher than nutrition majors in the food habits. Most of the subjects belonged to 'Fair' and 'Poor' food habit group. And also there was a significant correlation between the nutrition knowledge score and food habits score in nutrition majors and non-majors. There was a significant and positive correlation between nutrition knowledge score and food habits score in majors but it was not observed in non-majors. The higher majors had a self-consciousness of nutrition knowledge, the higher they had habit score and nutrition knowledge score, but in non-majors it was not observed. And non-majors who had a self-consciousness of health were healthier, they were higher in the food habits scores than the jai ors. The main curriculum it is important for a good food habits that one has a responsible nutrition education in main curriculum. For the Improvement of nutrition education program we should transmit the nutritional information through an effective mass media (i.e. Radio, TV, Newspaper).
We live in the age of artificial intelligence, and big data and artificial intelligence education are no longer just for majors, but are required to be able to handle non-majors as well. Software and artificial intelligence education for non-majors is not just a general education, it creates talents who can understand and utilize them, and the quality of education is increasingly important. Through such education, we can nurture creative talents who can create and use new values by fusion with various fields of computing technology. Since 2015, many universities have been implementing software-oriented colleges and AI-oriented colleges to foster software-oriented human resources. However, it is not easy to provide AI basic statistics education of big data analysis deception to non-majors. Therefore, we would like to present a big data education model for non-majors in big data analysis so that big data analysis can be directly applied.

The purpose of this paper is an analysis of the difference between convergence majors and single majors in the convergence core competency and educational performance. We used survey data for the analysis of the convergence core competencies, the results of the midterm and final exams for the education performance. Analysis targets are 10 students in big data business intelligence at Seokyeong University as convergence majors and 11 students in business administration as single majors. The target course was an analysis of economic data provided in the second semester of 2019. And the lecture contents were analysis of big data using R programming. The survey was conducted on December 5, 2019. The convergence core competences were creative thinking, critical thinking, understanding convergence knowledge, problem solving ability, communication skills, cooperation ability, use of convergence tools, consideration, and responsibility. As results of homogeneity tests, we found that there was no significant difference in all competencies, but there were very significant differences in the educational performance evaluated by the midterm and final exams. Therefore we can see willingness to convergence of single majors was no different from that of convergence majors, but had not led to practice. It is desirable to activate and support convergence courses.
Objective: This study investigated the awareness of occupational therapy in the community in occupational therapy majors through a survey. This purpose is to investigate the awareness of occupational therapy in the community among occupational therapy majors and establish a theoretical foundation. Methods: The research subjects were surveyed among occupational therapy majors at M University living in Gyeongsangnam-do, and analyzed 141 questionnaires from September 2023 to December 2023. Results: The results of this study that education and awareness improvement are needed to increase awareness of occupational therapy in the community, and it was found that continuing education and case sharing are effective. Activation of home rehabilitation and continuous health management. This institutional development can induce employment activity through community rehabilitation, and activate programs in connection with adult day care centers. This survey was conducted to investigate the attitude towards food hygiene, and the correlation between sanitary knowledge and the performance of college students in Daejeon. The respondents were composed of 218 food majors and 296 nonmajors. The answer that food hygiene was very important was given more often by food majors (82.9%) and those educated (80.5%) than non-majors (65.1%) and the uneducated (68.7%) (p<0.05). Information on food hygiene was mainly obtained from TV, radio, or the internet. The average food hygiene knowledge score was 4.08 and that in practice was 3.37 (p < 0.001). The average score was lower in practice than knowledge for personal hygiene, food separation use and storage, washing-sterilization of food, and utensils. The average knowledge score was higher for food majors and educated than that in non-majors and uneducated (p<0.001). The degree of HACCP perception was much higher in food majors (34.9%) and educated (37.4%) than in non-majors (5.4%) and uneducated (8.2%). The knowledge and practice scores were correlated (p<0.01). It is necessary that college students be educated to obtain useful knowledge about food hygiene and conduct proper personal food sanitation in their daily life.

The purpose of this study is to observe the rapidly changing men's fashion style in the contemporary society and to analyze the features related to the major-subject groups, male university students. This information could be used for clothing companies to plan commodities, divide markets, and develop designs. The results are as follows. First, several opinions were varied among students' majors. For the opinion about the male students focusing on their external appearance, the students from all majors said that it depends on individual preference. For 4 reasons of external appearances, students from all majors frequently said that they should adjust their external appearance for employment. For the opinion about what is considered the most in the purchase of clothing, most of the students considered about the design of the cloth. For the opinion about influences on the purchase of clothing, major of the students were influenced by their friend or colleague. on the other hand, the students from artistic talent and physical education mentioned other opinion that it depends that it depends on situation and own intention is most important. Second, for the question about clothing behavior, with regard to monthly average shopping control expense, the students from all majors mentioned the amount less than KRW 50,000. For the opinion about the number of shopping, most student mentioned once a season. For the opinion about the store to purchase dress, most students mentioned the use of large shopping mall but the students from business administration and economy mentioned the use of discount store. Third, for the question about preferred style and preferred brand, with regard to the opinion about usual style, the students from all majors have worn casual style. For the opinion about the preferred style, most students mentioned casual style. For the opinion about man's accessory wearing, the students from all majors mentioned that it is good and for the opinion about coordination item, most students mentioned bag.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of tele-physical therapy of health and non-health majors. It can provide basic research data for the provision of medical services in the future by identifying the level of awareness of the need for tele-physical therapy and the factors that affect it. Methods: The subjects were adults aged 20 to 29 in Korea, with 199 participants consisting of 83 health majors and 116 non-health majors. The survey was conducted over a period of 14 days. The survey comprised 19 questions, including 10 questions about general characteristics and 9 questions about tele-physical therapy recognition. The results were statistically analyzed using a statistical package program. Results: There was a significant difference between the two groups regarding the recognition of tele-physical therapy, with an average of 2.64 points in health majors and an average of 1.71 points in non-health majors, showing a low overall score. There was no significant difference in perception of the necessity of tele-physical therapy, with an average of 3.71 points in health majors and an average of 3.49 points in non-health majors, showing a high score, which was defined as a score of 3 or higher. Conclusion: Health and non-health majors showed low awareness of tele-physical therapy. A high level of perceived necessity for tele-physical therapy was shown. In the perception of tele-physical therapy in health majors, 'awareness', 'health improvement', and 'convenience' affect the perception of the necessity of tele-physical therapy. In non-health majors, 'knowledge and skills', 'health improvement', 'expected treatment satisfaction', and 'resolving restrictions on hospital visits' affect the perception of the necessity of tele-physical therapy.
This study aims to investigate the effect of college choice factors on withdrawal intention of first-year undergraduates in STEM majors. The data for this study were collected from a national sample of 4-year institutions that participated in Collegiate Longitudinal Study funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea during 2013-2014. The data included 1,484 students in STEM majors from 30 institutions, and this study used bivariate and multivariate analytic methods to answer the research questions. This study found that while the internal dimensions of college choice showed a negative effect on the intention to dropout, external dimensions of college choice such as college environment, financial accessibility, admission possibility had a positive effect on the intention. The findings indicate that it is necessary to pay attention to college choice for enrollment management to prevent first-year undergraduates in STEM majors from dropping out.
The purpose of this study was to examine the types and state of the private sector's cooperative activities for public peace and order and any problems with it in an effort to step up the revitalization of police-college collaborative efforts for public security by allowing police studies majors and security science majors to participate in crime prevention activities for which the police was responsible in each local community. What problems might possibly take place if police studies majors and security science majors would be involved in crime prevention activities was investigated by making a qualitative analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: First, more human resources and equipment should be offered, as the shortage of the two was pointed out as one of problems with the police itself. Second, how to cope with accidents that might occur if police studies majors and security science majors would take part in crime prevention activities should carefully be studied. Third, it should first be carried out at college to improve an ability to properly respond to diverse situations on the spot.
The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health awareness and oral health care of health-related and health-unrelated majors in an attempt to stress the importance of oral health education and boost the efficiency of oral health care. The subjects in this study were 363 college students. Out of the selected students, 174 were health-related majors, and 189 weren't. After a survey was conducted, the collected data were analyzed for the purpose of comparison, and the following findings were given: 1. Concerning daily mean toothbrushing frequency, the largest number of the male students who accounted for 55.2 percent brushed their teeth once a day on average, and the greatest number of the female students who represented 52.9 percent did that twice a day. As for the influence of their major, the largest group of the health-related majors who numbered 89(51.1%) brushed their teeth twice a day, and the greatest group of the health-unrelated majors who numbered 93(49.2%) did that once a day. The gaps between them were statistically significant(p<0.05). 2. As to the length of toothbrushing time by gender, it took more than two or three minutes for the largest groups of the male and female students that respectively numbered 96(76.8%) and 184(77.3%) to do toothbrushing(p<0.01). The greatest groups of the male and female students that respectively numbered 72(57.6%) and 183(76.9%) brushed their teeth after meals. 3. In regard to oral hygiene supplies, the largest groups of the health-related and health-unrelated majors that respectively numbered 78(44.8%) and 115(60.8%) had chewing gum and candy with them. As to the use of oral hygiene supplies, 99 health-related majors(56.9%) and 133 health-unrelated majors(70.4%) didn't put oral hygiene supplies to use. Thus, the use of oral hygiene supplies was statistically less common among the health-unrelated majors, and the gap between the two was significant(p<0.01). 4. As for health-related concern by gender, the largest group of the male students that numbered 56(44.8%) showed the most interest in preventing dental caries, and the greatest group of the female students that numbered 103(43.3%) were most concerned about tooth whitening. The gap between the male and female students was statistically significant(p<0.05), but the track of their major made no statistically significant difference to that. 5. Regarding the experience and awareness of scaling, the largest number of the students never got their teeth scaled regardless of gender and major, and the greatest group didn't care about scaling irrespective of gender and major, either, though they considered it advisable to do.
