This study is a descriptive research study conducted to find out the effect of nursing students' major satisfaction and nursing professionalism on their clinical performance ability. 123 seniors in the nursing department of a university were selected as study subjects, and data were collected from October to December 2022 using a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlations, t-test, ANOVA and regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of data analysis, major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and clinical competency were found to have a quantitative correlation, and it was analyzed that major satisfaction and nursing professionalism had a significant effect on clinical competency. Major satisfaction appeared to be the factor that had the greatest influence on clinical competency, and the explanatory power of the model was 51.9%. As a result of the study, in order to strengthen the clinical performance ability of nursing students, it is suggested to develop a nursing curriculum that can increase the major satisfaction.

As the first step to information security, the security policy and organizational control need to be established. The purpose of this study is to investigate the policy and management of information security of five major Korean business groups. The results of case study on five giant groups can be summarized as follows. There exists a basic policy for information security. But it is outdated and not realistic in the present. The security audit and education need to be upgraded. It is also necessary to use security tools actively. The security level is low in companies which do not have independent information security divisions. Therefore, it is desirable to build information security teams. The number of security personnel is not enough for the task although there exist an information security team in the company. It is important to check if the team has the ability of perform information security task. The interview with security managers reveals that the total security management should be integrated with physical and computer security. It is suggested that an Information Security Center play the major role for information security. The study on the information security management for industry level is expected to be performed in the future.

We selected, in previous research, a major DNA Marker 235bp of ILSTS035 microsatellite locus in progeny test Hanwoo chromosome 6. We apply a major DNA Marker 235bp to perormance valuation Hanwoo chomosome 6. We use bootstrap BCa method and calculate confidence interval. A major DNA Marker 235bp is verified that it does not have environmental effect but affects primely economic trait factor.

Global competition of automotive market, affordable prices of electronic components, and tougher regulations on emission, fuel economy, and safety become the major reason that automotive industries rapidly employ a large number of electric and electronic systems. Considering that the application of electronic technologies for automobile is increasing at a rapid rate, it would be worthwhile to evaluate the trend of the uses of major electric and electronic systems for the 21st century vehicle. The major technology will be leaded by 32/64-bit microcontroller, on-chip flash memory, hybrid ASICs, IGBT, and smart sensors.

This paper proposes the maintenance model of multi-component system when the failure characteristics and types of components are considered. In this model, it is assumed that a system is composed of a critical component, a major component and a minor component. Also, failure types is classified into major failure and minor failure. If major failure occurs to critical component before system age replacement time, the system is renewed. If major failure does not occur until its age replacement time, preventive maintenance is performed at age replacement time T. Minimal repairs are carried out after each minor failure. Major component is minimal-repaired if any failure is discovered during operation. Minor component should be replaced as soon as any failure is found. This paper determines the optimal replacement time of the system which minimizes total maintenance cost. Numerical example illustrates these results.

LOD scores related to marbling scores and permutation test have been applied for the purpose detecting quantitative trait loci (QTL) and we selected a considerable major locus BM4311. K-means clustering, for the major DNA marker mining of BM4311 microsatellite loci in Hanwoo chromosome 6, has been tried and five traits are divided by three cluster groups. Then, the three cluster groups are classified according to six DNA markers. Finally, bootstrap test method to calculate confidence intervals, using resampling method, has been adapted in order to find major DNA markers. It could be concluded that the major markers of BM4311 locus in Hanwoo chromosome 6 were DNA marker 100 and 95 bp.

The number of Korean university students was 4,273,000 and it took them 11 months to get a job after graduation in 2010, according to figures from the National Statistical Office. The purpose of this study is to examine the major awareness and the career preparation of university students majoring in interior design and to provide basic data about job expertise that students understand, the existing state of the career preparation and discrimination. This study collected data from students majoring in interior design at Daegu Gyeongbuk state of University. First, this study classifies the major awareness of students majoring in interior design. Second, this Study describes and analyzes the characteristics of the major awareness of students majoring in interior design by types. Third, this study investigates and analyzes the differences between the career preparations of university students majoring in interior design.

Stress, a risk factor of major depression induces cytokine mediated inflammation and decreased neurogenesis. In patients with major depression, significant increases of pro-inflammatory cytokines have been consistently reported. The pro-inflammatory cytokines can stimulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis to release glucocorticoids. In the brain, microglia and play a role of immune activation in response to stress. Increased pro-inflammatory cytokine play a role in restricting neurogenesis in the brain. Although neurogenesis may not be essential for the development of depression, it may be required for clinically effective antidepressant treatment. Hence, stimulation of neurogenesis is regarded as a promising strategy for new antidepressant targets. This review introduces changes in neurotransmitter, cytokine and neurogenesis in major depression and explores the possible relationship between pro-inflammatory cytokines and neurogenesis related to stress in major depression.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate major satisfaction according to the values and self efficacy of students majoring in health science. Methods: Among the 170 respondents, 25.3% were male and 74.7% were females. The departments were 28.9% of physical therapy, 20.6% of laboratory science, 23.5% of occupational therapy, 14.1% of nursing, and dental hygiene 12.9%. Results: In the present study major satisfaction was significantly higher when the higher self efficacy and significantly lower when the higher value. Conclusions: These results indicate that it is necessary to provide contents and appropriate guidance that can enhance the values and self efficacy in order to improve major satisfaction of students majoring in health science.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate influences on employment preparation in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 386 dental hygiene students in South Korea from November 1 to 30, 2016. For data analysis, the study used independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis among others. Results: Students with higher grades tended to have major satisfaction, instruction participation, and employment preparation (P<0.001). Higher parental monthly income was related to higher major satisfaction (P<0.001). Employment preparation was significantly positively related to major selection motive, major satisfaction, and instruction participation. Conclusions: In order to encourage dental hygiene students to prepare for employment, it is necessary to create a better academic environment and develop a variety of employment preparation education programs. I think that the active interest of the country, society, school, and family will have a positive impact on employment preparation.
