These days, Supply chain integration is considered an important process of companies. It is an particular issue in traditional environment changes in the supply chain competition. The results of this study showed that Organization capability, strategic capability in innovation capabilities had a positive impact on information integration and strategic integration in supply chain external integration which influenced management performance in a positive direction.

This study presents a methodology that efficiently evaluates and interprets the end-user computing capability in a total perspective in a computing environment. The evaluation system has an evaluation tool, evaluation method and process, and an interpretation system. The validity and reliability of the developed tool construct was verified by factor and reliability analysis with the application of SPSS software. The application and utilization of the developed system was confirmed by applying it to evaluating the computing competency of 316 workers in an enterprise and presenting its evaluation results. This will contribute to developing a methodology for totally evaluating and interpreting the end-user computing capability and improving their computing capability in industrial fields.

Trench-Gate SOI LIGBT with improved latch-up capability has been proposed and verified by MEDICI simulation. The new SOI LIGBT exhibits 6 time larger latch-up capability of the new device is almost preserved independent of lifetime. the large latch-up capability of the new SOI LIGBT may be realized due to the fact that the hole current in the new device would bypass through the shorted cathode contact without passing the p-well region under the n+ cathode. Forward voltage drop is increased by 25% when a epi thickness is 6$\mu$m. However, the increase of the forward voltage is negligible when the epi thickness is increased to 10$\mu$m. It is found that the swithcing time of the new device is almost equal to the conventional devices. Evaluated breakdown voltage of proposed SOILIGBT is 250 V and that of the conventional SOI LIGBT is 240 V, where the thickness of the vuried oxide and n- epi is 3$\mu$m and 6$\mu$m, respectively.

This study was carried out to investigate the relation between surface roughness and heat absorption capability of materials for solar collector. For this purpose, 3 kinds of materials (copper, aluminum, iron), 5 kinds of surface roughness (scrubber, alumina sand #80, #200, #400, glass bead) and 2 kinds of surface treatment (black chrome plating, copper black coating) were used for finding optimal conditions to apply solar collector. As the results, it was confirmed that the optimal relations between surface roughness and surface treatment as well as optimal materials were necessary. Further, heat absorption capability was showed good results in cases of copper materials, glass bead and black chrome plating.

This paper presents a knowledge-based view of the multi-business firm. The multi-business firm has advantages in technological innovation and knowledge creation to the extent that it embodies various ideas and resources, and recombines them more effectively and efficiently than market contracts. The purpose of this paper is to identify how to organize the multidivisional form (M-form) structure to realize such advantages. We first differentiate within-division innovation and cross-division innovation, and explain why cross-division innovation, despite its higher performance potential, would be more difficult to achieve, compared to within-division innovation. Then, we offer the propositions about how to promote cross-division innovation with references to resource capability and coordination capability that is, in turn, composed of structural and control system, social capital, and human resource management system. We conclude by discussing theoretical and practical implications.

A family of some capability indices { $C_{p}$(.alpha.,.beta.); .alpha..geq.0, .beta..geq.0}, containing the indices $C_{p}$, $C_{{pk}}$, $C_{{pm}}$, and $C_{{pmk}}$, has been defined by Vannman(1993) for the case of two-sided specification interval. By varying the parameters of the family various capability indices with suitable properties are obtained. We derive tha asymptotic distribution of the family { $C_{p}$(.alpha.,.beta.); .alpha..geq.0,.beta..geq.0} under general proper conditions. It is also shown that the bootstrap approximation to the distribution of the estimator $C_{p}$(.alpha., .beta.) is vaild for almost all sample sequences. These asymptotic distributions would be used in constructing some bootstrap confidence intervals.tervals.

The design methodology of the sluice caisson structure is one of important factor that is closely related to the efficiency in tidal power generation. When the sluice caisson is designed to maximize the water discharge capability, it is possible to minimize the number of sluice caissons for attaining the water amount required for achieving the target power generation, which results in reduction of the construction cost for the sluice caisson structure. The discharge capability of sluice caisson is dependent on the geometrical conditions of an apron structure which is placed in both sides of the sluice caisson. In this study, we investigated numerically the variation of water discharge capability of sluice caisson according to the geometrical conditions of apron. Flow fields are simulated with FLOW-3D software using VOF method.

Recently, a couple of process capability indices are used to evaluate that the outputs of the process satisfy the specifications. An assumption of those indices is that the specifications of the characteristics are given single constant value. The display panel is a highly precise product and all the specifications of measure points are designed by their locations in the panel. So it is very difficult to locate the measurement facility to the exact position. In this paper, we propose a new process capability index in case of multi specifications and unfixable objects.

Experimental study is carried out to investigate the heat transport capability and thermal resistance of sinusoidal axially grooved heat pipe, comparing its performance to trapezoidal axially grooved heat pipe. As a result from this work, the heat transport capability of sinusoidal grooved heat pipe is lower than that of trapezoidal grooved heat pipe for the same size of outer diameter. As the ratio of depth to width of sinusoidal groove heat pipe is higher, the heat transport capability of heat pipe becomes higher. It is found that Aluminum-ammonia heat pipes with sinusoidal and trapezoidal grooves have good thermal resistance, below 0.1$^{\circ}C$/W at evaporator section and below 0.05$^{\circ}C$/W at condenser section.
