The Relationship of Radiation Dose and Image Quality According to the Condition of Chest PA

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the measurement result of radiation dose by using standard thoracic phantom and ionization chamber to advice proposal in the shooting condition of chest PA projection at hospitals recently. And to understand the change between radiation dose and resolution in different conditions. The period this study was from August 2010 to September 2010 and the subjects of the study was 3 general hospitals, 4 personal hospitals and 1 laboratory at the college. Finally we study with 6 DR, 1 CR, and 4 F/S equipments. Most hospitals met advice proposal, but some of the hospitals exceed advice dose from the result of our study. We can lower radiation dose about 25% when kVp is lowered about 20% in DR equipment. And we can lower radiation dose about 50% when mAs is lowered about 35%. The image quality was similar to the original in the study. Most hospitals which exceed advice dose were personal hospitals. The reason why it happened is that radiation dose for chest PA projection at personal hospitals is higher than general hospitals and the personal hospitals' equipments are older than general hospitals' equipments. We guess that patients' radiation dose of chest PA projection can be lowered from the result.

병원건축 마스터플랜의 제안 후 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Post Proposal Evaluation of Master Plan in Hospital Architecture)

  • Purpose: In recent years, since 2000 many hospitals have established a master plan. However, there are some hospitals proceeding in different way from the master plan while the process of execution plan. This is because the study of master plan has been incomplete yet and there is no feedback on the master plan. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find the reasons why differences are occurred. Methods: Comparison analysis of five hospitals which have established master plans and constructed with execution plans and Questionnaire to an architect of execution plan have been conducted. Results: This study has found three points. The first one is the change in scope of business and the change of administrator. The second one is that administrator and staff of hospital have more demands for improvement in functional area rather than public area, like lobby. The last one is to check a possibility of the solution by architectural analysis. Implications: It is necessary to determine the cause of changes from master plan and execution plan, in order to reduce the change in advance.

대학생이 정보활용능력 척도 개발 연구 (The Study on Undergraduates' Information Literacy Scale Development)

  • 대학생들의 정보활용능력을 측정하기 위한 척도 개발의 기초자료로서 정보활용능력 표준과 모형을 분석하였다. 3개 표준과 2개 모형의 분석을 통해 핵심영역과 항목을 제시한 후, 최종적으로 척도 개발을 위한 항목 모형(안)을 제시하였다. 최종 척도 개발 항목 모형(안)은 6개 핵심영역과 18개 항목으로 구성되어 있다 제시된 척도 개발 항목 모형(안)은 앞으로 연구가 진행될 대학생들의 정보활용능력을 측정하기 위한 척도개발의 기초자료로서 이용될 것이다.

  • Existing reinforced concrete frame buildings designed for vertical loads could only suffer severe damage during earthquakes. In recent years, many research activities were undertaken to develop a reliable and practical analysis procedure to identify the safety level of existing structures. The Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) is considered to be one of the most accurate methods to estimate the seismic demand and capacity of structures. However, the executions of many nonlinear response history analyses (NL_RHA) are required to describe the entire range of structural response. The research discussed in this paper deals with the proposal of an efficient Incremental Modal Pushover Analysis (IMPA) to obtain capacity curves by replacing the nonlinear response history analysis of the IDA procedure with Modal Pushover Analysis (MPA). Firstly, In this work, the MPA is examined and extended to three-dimensional asymmetric structures and then it is incorporated into the proposed procedure (IMPA) to estimate the structure's seismic response and capacity for given seismic actions. This new procedure, which accounts for higher mode effects, does not require the execution of complex NL-RHA, but only a series of nonlinear static analysis. Finally, the extended MPA and IMPA were applied to an existing irregular framed building.

A PROPOSAL OF CONSTRUCTABILITY REVIEW IN THE BASIC DESIGN STEP FOR DESIGN-BUILD PROJECTS

  • The orders of Design-Build Delivery System (DBDS) in a large and public construction project have been increasing. Single Source Responsibility (SSR) for design and construction, which contributes to quality improvement of design and construction, has been performed. The DBDS performs SSR for design and construction, but, it has not maximized effect because of the dissatisfied alternative analysis procedures which are based on constructability evaluation and the information system in the design step. In this research, Constructability Evaluation Factors (CEFs) that must be evaluated, investigated, and reflected in the basic design step for design-build projects. The CEF proposed and the business process of each conductor has been systematized. To propose constructability evaluation factors, first classify drawing information by the constructability evaluation sphere. CEFs must be proposed to evaluate factors according to interference among work items. Second, applicable CEFs must be classified by preference ranking and weight. Third, the values of constructability factors in accordance with building elements and work items, need to be calculated. Finally, the CEFs proposal will support rational decision making, design cost reduction, and quality improvement through the values for constructability of building elements and work items.

  • IoT 기기가 발전으로 블루투스 활용도와 보안에 대한 관심이 증가하면서, 블루투스와 관련된 취약점이 매년 발생하고 있다. 보안을 높이기 위하여 블루투스 4.2 버전부터 페어링 단계에서 타원곡선 디피-헬먼 키 교환을 적용하였지만 타원곡선 기반의 암호들은 양자컴퓨터의 발전과 Shor 알고리즘에 의해 더 이상 안전하다고 보기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 양자 환경에서 발생할 법한 블루투스 관련 취약점을 미연에 방지하기 위하여 페어링 단계에 적용된 기존의 암호 대신 양자 내성 암호 NewHope를 적용한 블루투스 모델을 제안한다.

병원규모에서 PACS 도입 계획과 영상의학과 장비 운영에 관한 분석 (Analysis about Planning Introduction PACS in Hospital Scale and Equipment Operation of Radiology Department)

  • 본 연구는 500병상 규모의 병원에서 PACS 도입 시 준비 작업 및 제안서에 포함 되어야 할 항목과 의료장비 도입 전 검토조서의 제시로 장비 도입 전 수익성 및 운용 부서에서 계획서에 제시 된 예상수익을 근거로 하여 장비의 이용도와 수익성을 조사하여 고가의료장비의 구입 원가, 이용도 등을 분석하였다. 연구대상 병원에서 PACS 도입 시 수가로 인하여 수익이 발생되는 것으로 나타났고, 의료장비 구입 방법은 임차 방식으로 기간은 3년에서 5년으로 나타났으며, 수익은 2년 정도이면 투자비용을 상회하여 수익이 발생 될 것으로 예상되었다. 병원의 PACS를 도입 운영에 있어서 의료장비 구매 금액은 영상의학과의 운영에서 발생되는 수익을 근거로 할 때 투자비용은 약 1.9년 정도이면 투자금액을 회수 할 수 있을 것으로 예상되었으며, 영상의학과의 재촬영 검사의 감소와 필름 및 현상 정착액을 구입하지 않아 운영비를 절감할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 실질적인 수익 증가 외에도 병원 마케팅 차원에서 병원의 위상 향상, 직원들의 업무절감 등에 의한 업무 환경개선 또는 업무 스트레스 감소 등 병원 직원의 업무 만족도 증가로 인한 병원의 서비스 향상에도 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과 병원규모에서 PACS 도입 시 의료장비의 예상 수익을 작성하고 진료업무의 기여도 및 구매 후에도 수익 등을 비교 분석하여 의료장비 도입 전 제안서 작성과 도입 후 효율적인 장비 운영 계획을 수립해야 할 것으로 사료되었다.

해외 패션 컬렉션에 나타난 니트 아이템 경향 분석 - 니트 아이템 분류목록의 제안과 실용화를 위한 탐색적 분석 - (Analysis of Knit Item Trend Appeared in Foreign Fashion Collections - Analysis for the Proposal of Knit Item Category List and Practical Use -)

  • In this investigation, the following study was carried out for an experimental proposal of the knit item lists which were not actualized due to lack of studies. First of all, we have put the knit item titles that have been used through the document investigation, into the lists in order to clarify the original item list. Furthermore, we have pointed out the problems and the areas to be developed in the original item lists, and proposed twenty new knit item lists. By defining the design traits of each item, we have established item list which could be classified more systematically. As a result, the knit item titles of twenty newly proposed item titles are knit pull over, knit pull over top, knit top, knit t shirt, knit shirt, knit polo shirt, knit blouse, knit vest, knit hood, knit jumper, knit jacket, knit coat, knit cardigan, knit ensemble, knit cape, knit shawl, knit bikini, knit one-piece, knit pants, and knit skirt. Secondly, in order to investigate the possibility of practical use of twenty knit item lists proposed by this study, we have applied anova with repeated measurement for foreign fashion collection knit item trends of the past 10 years based on the proposed item lists. As a result, four items classified as top, shirt, cardigan, and pants had similar changes in the trend for last 10 years in S/S season while eleven items classified as pull over, pull over top, blouse, vest, jacket, coat, cardigan, ensemble, cape, shawl, and one-piece had similar trend changes for F/W season. The first significance of this study is on the experimental proposal of knit item list which could be used in the actual clothing industry and academic field. Furthermore, by defining the design traits of each knit item, it sublated the confusions brought by vocabularies in design of knit products and distribution in the industry perspective, and it made it possible to categorize the knit items correctly in knit design analysis and knit design education in academic field. The second significance shows that this study brought about positive results in the possibility of industrial academic practical use of proposed list by indicating that most of the knit designs appeared in the foreign collections in the past ten years could be correctly classified through investigational analysis.

서비스 사이언스를 위한 서비스의 식별 (Service Identification for Service Science)

  • Currently, the world has experienced a mass exodus of workforce from the manufacturing industry to service related industry. In addition, the changes of industry structure toward service industry have been gradually accelerated. We have felt that it is time to conduct researches about IT service systematizing and discovering the essence of service itself with scientific and synthetic ways based on Service Science. For Service Science researchers, service identification is regarded as a difficult activity when they contact it for the first time and they want to apply it real environment. In reality, there exist mismatches between business and IT service to identify service since service is identified from the business point of view in Service Science area and it is identified from the technical point of view in IT service area. In this paper, we have conducted researches about service identification placed on the first priority and regarded as difficult area in service-oriented business area. To lessen aforementioned difficulties, we propose procedures and methods for extracting and identifying service in the viewpoint of business process. We conducted case study and comparison with existing researches to verify the applicability and the excellence of our proposal.

건설 현장의 정보기술 발전 방향에 관한 연구 (The study on the Proposals for Application to Information Technology in Field Construction)

  • Information Technology (IT) makes a great contribution towards improvement of productivity in construction industry. Because most of researches of construction industry's IT are focused on the whole field of the industry or development of information system, however, these have no regard for conditions in fields. Thus, this study proposes the requirements in order to improve the productivity and efficiency of field execution of construction industry. To achieve this aim, the surveys are conducted of the problems and conditions of IT application on site workers and managers. As a result, the followings are suggested: (1) user training should be exercised continuously, (2) infrastructure of IT constructed, (3) total management system of field execution developed, and (4) the development of IT system focused on fields. Therefore, this study provides meaningful proposal that can be set up basic direction toward IT investment and IT system development.
