The well-known sentence, "You can't manage what you don't measure" suggests the importance of measurement. The Ministry of National Defense (MND) in Korea is measuring the effort of informatization for various dimensions such as validity, adequacy, and effectiveness using the MND evaluation system to obtain positive and significant effects from informatization. MND views the defense informatization domain as divided into the defense informatization policy, the defense informatization project, and the defense informatization level, which can measure the informatization capability of the MND and the armed forces or organizations. Furthermore, it feels there is some limitation, such as those related to ambiguity and reliability, present in the system. To overcome the limitations in the existing system to evaluate the defense informatization policy, this study proposes a revised evaluation framework for the policy of defense informatization, its indicators, and measurement methods.

Currently, there are little evaluated model for each industry and systematic analysis for each item about current business web sites. And the approach way to improve it all depends on individual. This research is about two different points of view on I-Evaluation development as an approach method to provide analysis, evaluation, and guideline on business web sites. The one is about developing a working step and a site evaluation model that are necessary to improve the quality of site. The other is about a framework development to apply a feedback on site most rapidly and site optimization. The former is from the methodological point of view for I-Evaluation, and the latter is from the point of view for I-Evaluation Framework. In terms of methodology, developing site evaluation model and defining a working step belong to it. Site evaluation model means customizing each customers web site, using each evaluated scoring model which can be a standard for each industry to analyze a similar business web site. Defining a working step means defining input and output parameters for composed elements, working processes, and results analysis on an evaluated model. And also it includes building a working environments to automatic steps mentioned the above by clarifying them.

본 연구에서는 Computational Thinking 기반의 인공지능(AI)교육에 대한 학습자의 내재적 사고의 변화를 살펴보기 위한 평가도구 개발의 기준과 프레임워크를 구성하여 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 데이터수집을 위한 인지적 학습보조(Agency)의 단계, 수집된 데이터의 특징을 분해하여 데이터의 패턴을 인식하고 카테고리화 과정을 수행하는 추상화(Abstracting)의 단계, 추상화과정을 수행한 정제된 데이터를 토대로 알고리즘을 구성하는 모델링(Modeling)단계의 일련의 순차적 과정이 평가요소로 구성되었다. 또한 학습자의 인식, 학습, 행동, 결과에 대한 인지적영역에 대한 평가가 구성되었으며, 학습자의 문제해결의 과정과 결과에 대하여 지식, 역량, 태도의 영역에 대하여 측정을 하게 됨으로써 AI교육에 대한 학습의 내재적인 인지영역의 변화와 결과에 대한 평가를 할 수 있도록 프레임 워크가 설계되었다. 연구의 결과는 교수학습의 맥락에 따른 개별화된 평가도구 개발에 대한 프레임워크를 구성하였다는 점에서 의미가 있으며, 향후 AI교육의 다양한 영역에서 활용될 수 있는 기준으로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

웹 2.0 환경에서 웹 서비스의 활용범위가 점차 확대됨에 따라서 웹 애플리케이션을 신속하고 편리하게 개발할 수 있는 방법이 요구되고 있다. 최근에 이러한 목적으로 도입되고 있는 프레임워크는 범용으로 설계되어 다양한 웹 애플리케이션에 적용되고 있지만 프레임워크를 이용하여 개발된 웹 애플리케이션에 대한 적합한 품질 평가 모델이 제시되지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 프레임워크를 이용하여 사용자 간에 도서 정보를 자유롭게 공유할 수 있는 온라인 서재 시스템을 개발하고, 이를 평가하기 위하여 프레임워크 기반의 웹 애플리케이션에 적합한 품질 평가 모델을 제시한다. 소프트웨어 품질 평가의 대표적인 국제 표준인 ISO/IEC 9126-2를 기반으로 기능성, 사용성, 효율성, 유지보수성, 안정성의 다섯 가지의 품질 특성을 정의하고 프레임워크 기반의 웹 애플리케이션의 품질 특성에 초점을 맞춘 평가 메트릭을 제시함으로써 온라인 서재 시스템에 대한 객관적이고 정량적인 평가를 수행한다.

가상현실(VR) 실내자전거의 사용자경험설계(UXD)를 평가하기 위한 방법이 최근에 개발되었으나 이 방법은 실제 제품을 통한 어떠한 실증적인 비교 평가를 받지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 방법의 효과성을 살펴보고 실제 VR자전거에 적용될 때 나타나는 문제점을 발견하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2가지 유형의 VR자전거, 즉 한국형 가상현실 실내자전거 프로토타입(KoVIB)과 상용화되고 있는 외국산 VirZOOM에 각각 적용하여 전반적인 평가를 하였다. 주요 평가기준은 사용성 분야, 감정적 분야, 사용자가치, 현실감 등 4개가 이용되었다. 사용성 분야는 13개, 감정적 분야는 6개, 사용자가치는 8개, 현실감은 16개 하위 요소로 각각 구성된다. 이들 요소들은 프로토타입 평가를 위해 재해석된다. 그 결과 제품 사이의 강약을 쉽게 파악할 수 있었으며, 프로토타입과 상용품 간에 나타날 수 있는 평가 방법의 문제점들도 발견할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 프로토타입의 장점은 홍보로, 약점은 개선사항으로 용이하게 피드백 되며, 또한 문제점을 반영한 수정된 평가방법이 제안된다.

Objectives: This study aimed to develop evaluation criteria for the elementary-school-based health promotion program using the RE-AIM framework and to examine their feasibility. Methods: Previous evaluation studies on health interventions for elementary-school students using the RE-AIM framework were reviewed systematically to identify appropriate evaluation criteria. A diet and physical activity intervention based on the transtheoretical model was implemented in a pilot study using the "Happy Me" application. The feasibility of using the RE-AIM framework to evaluate it was examined. Results: The review yielded the following evaluation criteria: "reach," the ratio of participants out of the total target population; "efficacy/effectiveness," the difference in outcomes between the intervention and control groups, or between a pre- and post-test; "adoption," the rate of use of the program and participation in the next stage of the program; "implementation," the progress on the program components; "maintenance," the participants' and teachers' intention to continue using the program. The pilot study reached 76.6% of the targeted population. The intake of sugar-sweetened beverages decreased (P < 0.0001), and the duration of walking increased (P < 0.0001). Other indicators could not be evaluated; therefore, potential indicators were suggested. Conclusions: This study produced feasible evaluation criteria for elementary-school-based health promotion using the RE-AIM framework. Nevertheless, the feasibility needs to be validated with a broader range of studies and long-term interventions.

It is widely known that usability is a critical quality attribute of IT systems. Many studies have developed various methods for finding out usability problems. Usability professionals have emphasized that usability should be integrated into the development life cycle in order to maximize the usability of systems with minimal cost. To achieve this, it is essential to classify usability problems systematically and connect them into the activities of designing user interfaces and tasks. However, there is a lack of framework or method for these two problems and thus remains a challengeable research issue. As a beginning study, this paper proposes a conceptual framework for addressing the two issues. We firstly summarize usability-related studies so far, including usability factors and evaluation methods. Secondly, we review seven approaches to identifying and classifying usability problems. Based on this review and opinions of usability engineers in real industry as well as the review results, this paper proposes a framework comprising three viewpoints, from which more sound classification scheme of usability problems can be inductively developed.

Many systems using RFID/USN were and are being developed. Some systems are used in practice and some are not. Generally, the main reasons not being used are: The prices of chips are too high considering the effects. The application domain is not appropriate for RFID/USN. So, various skills for higher sensing precision have been introduced like using multiple sensors and avoiding metals which deter sensings seriously. Now, it is time to evaluate systems which were developed using RFID/USN technology. However, no systematic approach has been made for the evaluation. In this paper, a framework using BSC is introduced for the evaluation of systems using RFID/USN. In this framework, some Critical Success Factors(CSF) are derived and some Key Performance Indices(KPI) are developed for each CSF.

The quality of performance evaluation on engineering consultants that provide design-related technical services is difficult to be measured, and only a handful of papers discussed the quality during the design stage. Although design cost is relatively far less than construction cost for a project, the decisions made in the design phase have a significant impact on the final products of the project, especially for large public construction projects. Therefore, this research focuses on reviewing and then establishing a performance evaluation framework for the consulting firms that execute detailed design and provide technical services for the Taipei Rapid Transit Systems (TRTS). By interviewing experts, this study first established a set of indicators to evaluate these firms' performance. Then, those indicators were incorporated into the four aspects of balanced scorecard (BSC) to establish the architecture of the evaluation mechanism. The weight of each indicator was calculated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) from a survey conducted among experts. The results showed that the top-three indicators were quantity take-off, functions conformity, and budgeting. The framework of performance evaluation established by this study can be applied to measure service performance during the design stage. It not only facilitates the monitoring of consulting firms, but also helps to reduce unnecessary change orders and disputes during the construction stage.

Internet shopping mall has become a huge distribution channel with dramatic growth in recent years. The number of consumers has exponentially increased as the scale of shopping mall has been large so that shopping malls with thousands or millions of consumers become a general case. However, it is essential to evaluate whether current assortment of consumers is proper or not in the strategic aspect in order to operate Internet shopping mall effectively and gain profits. That is, it is important to evaluate whether consumer strategy of corporation is proper or not from the corporation. Despite this business importance, consumer assortment has not been evaluated well and related study is not sufficient. This study supposes a framework for consumer assortment evaluation, which evaluates whether consumer assortment of Internet shopping mall is proper or not. In the framework for consumer assortment evaluation, analysis data based on order data and consumer data in database is made. Then, four factors, consumer maintenance rate, consumer profitability, consumer securing rate and consumer conversion are setup, and 22 measurement indexes are drawn. Finally, a consumer assortment evaluation score card is made by integrating them. This study has applied a supposed framework to a domestic typical community based shopping mall, and it is expected that the evaluation result will be used as informant strategic information to operate the shopping mall effectively.
