The purpose of this study was to identity the types of leisure and to examine the quality of life according to them and suggest the basic resources about leisure on elderly chronic stroke. The subject of this study was elderly chronic strokes(n=80) in Gwang Ju. A total of 80 questionnaires from subjects were analyzed. The social leisure activity shows more clear and positive purpose and more higher quality of life than private leisure. But it also has limited time and require more money. Elderly chronic stroke presents passive and limited leisure activity and shows low satisfaction about leisure. But the leisures that needed more physical movements show higher quality of life. So leisure activity program which is able to support and assist the limited body function will be helpful to increase the quality of life of elderly chronic stroke.

This research was carried out for the purpose of providing basic data to establish a policy for improving health and medical service inequality in the disabled's households, by analyzing it according to composed groups through the application of data about the panel survey of the employment for the disabled, from 2010 to 2012. The results of analysis showed that as for Gini's coefficient, disabled women, the disabled without participation in economic activities, the disabled in their 40s, physically handicapped people and severely disabled people had more and more inequality in expenditure of health care expenses, and inequality in North Gyeongsang Province continued to be on the rise. As for the entropy coefficient, disabled women, the disabled without participation in economic activities, the mentally disabled and severely disabled people had more and more inequality in consumption of health care, and the inequality got severe in Ulsan and North Gyeongsang Province. And as for the decomposition of factors by composed group, inequality in health care expenses were higher inside a group than between groups. Based on these results, research limitations and implications were suggested.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of the electromyographic activity in vastus medialis oblique (VMO) and vastus lateralis (VL), also vastus medialis oblique/vastus lateralis ratios after wearing wedged flated or 5cm heel shoes. The subjects were 30 healthy women who randomly assigned to two group, divided by flated or 5cm heel group. They were asked to perform squat exercise in two postures using medial and lateral wedged shoes. In two groups, EMG activity of VMO and VL was significant difference between the flated heel and 5cm heel (p<.01). This study showed that 5cm heel could selectively more active VMO than flated heel. It should be considered the heel height as the parameter when the patient with lower extremity problem undergo rehabilitation exercise or design of orthoses for the selective muscle activity of knee pain or knee instability.

This paper presents a design and optimization of the fully-active transfemoral prosthesis leg system. As it has one degree of freedom in knee joint, this prosthesis leg can imitate the human's gait. The weight of system, which makes the users more comfortable due to less tiredness, and the knee joint torque to rise stability of the system are major factors of prosthesis leg system. Thus the mechanism of prosthesis changes from 3-linkage type to geared type. The sensorized foot is also designed to effectively determine human's gait by measuring deformation of the foot during gait. Topology optimization is carried out for the sensorized foot to remove its unnecessary weight. The safety of optimized foot is verified by carrying out finite element analysis.

In this paper, an efficient system using 3-axis accelerometer is proposed to diagnose the gait imbalance. The proposed hardware system consists of two 3-axis accelerometers to measure 3 directional acceleration of ankles and an embedded system to transfer the data. The acquired data were normalized and then compared to analyze the symmetry between normal and abnormal gait with ROCC (ratio of correlation coefficient). 10 healthy subjects were participated and each subject repeated the experiment 5 times. To make unbalanced ambulation, the height of the heel of one foot was changed during experiments. From the results, it is verified that ROCC index grew apart from the reference according to growing imbalance and the proposed system could be available for estimation of gait imbalance.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze lower extremities pattern of daily activities and walking on the treadmill with passive body support system. The experiments will be used for basic research of developing active harness system. The experimental procedure has been validated on 5 healthy male subjects and we measured foot pressure and 8 section of lower limb muscles activities. The EMG results of ADL indicate that there have specific muscle activity patterns followed by each activities. The vastus lateralis muscle activities were highly seems on the activities that requires flection and extension of knee joint. The foot pressure value of stair descent activity was the highest due to the fact that it is come down to the direction of gravity. The results with the passive body weight support percentages show that the EMG and foot pressure values were declined according to increasement of the body weight support percentages. Therefore the body weight support system could apply gait rehabilitation system for various patients by changing the percentages of the body weight support.

This study in the treatment of autistic horse therapy of children with disabilities that affect the perception of parents is to some extent how well treatment for a sense of purpose and a horse therapy was to evaluate the expectations. As parents of autistic children with disabilities a questionnaire study of 100 people was used as a research tool. Analysis of the frequency analysis method, Chi-square Analysis were analyzed by taking advantage of each. Parents interested in horse therapy and children who do not have the experience of riding. In addition, Parents who have children age 10-20 riding in the response was that there would be effects Understanding mainly ride horses in the horse therapy is physical exercise. And therapy and exercise that combines specific area of expertise, as is the way to help. In addition, behavior modification, and it is used as a way to improve. Expectations in the therapeutic horse therapy should be major(occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy). Horse therapy is suitable for individual therapy at least for 2-3 weeks and the Confederacy.

In this research, one's ability to perform activities of daily living, body pain, and emotional states of elders who live alone and elders who live with others were compared to investigate which factors affect senior's health state. The data was collected from 88 seniors and analyzed for the comparison. Compared to seniors who live with others, elders who live alone had lower activity of daily livings, stronger body pain, and instability in emotional states. These 3 aspects showed a statistical significance of correlation. As a result of further analysis, not only residential types(living alone or living with others), but also life pattern(indoor or outdoor) is affected on the results. It is expected that the results of this research could be used as basic data for physiological index to evaluate senior's health state and care service for seniors who live alone.

In this research, for the smooth cultural life of seniors, we recruit 92 smart seniors (male: 22, female: 70) and survey their preferred content sub-genre. The survey is mainly based on the two devices (PC, Smartphone) to be used. As a result of the study, there was a little difference in preference on the web pages between both devices, the video contents showed the similar preference, regardless of the device. Also, sub-genres surveyed show higher correlations with similar sub-genres in other content genres. So, If the result of this study is reflected in the development of cultural contents and the composition of content pages, it will be helpful for senior to enjoy the improved cultural life by lowering entry barriers accessing digital media contents.

In this study, we propose a method to improve the guideline for accessibility of mobile applications based on the results of manual evaluation of 8 mobile online shopping applications which are widely used in Korea. 13 items of mobile online shopping application were found to have low compliance rate, and 5 items such as response time control were observed and there was no corresponding items. In the current mobile application accessibility guidelines, it is necessary to delete the check items that are not relevant or meaningless, and to provide additional logical items such as logical ordering and form creation, and to improve the accessibility of mobile applications, The government should make efforts to develop and disseminate the development guide, and to resolve the digital devides.
