Communication Disaster Type and Risk Analysis (통신재난의 유형 및 위험분석)

  • As it develops into a hyper-connected society, the role of information and communication is greatly increasing. In the event of a communication disaster, it will cause a significant impact on social infrastructure, suspension of the national critical infrastructure services, and the lives of the people. In addition, the information communication sector needs systematic management to create an information communication environment that is safe from disasters because dependence on the information communication sector has increased rapidly as the industrial structure has advanced. In this paper, we analyzed the types and risks of disasters that may occur to the information communication infrastructure that play important roles in national critical infrastructure, such as information communications, finance, health and healthcare, for systematic management. In the event of a disaster in the information communication infrastructure, it is believed that it will have a significant impact on the national critical infrastructure service suspension and people's lives.

  • This study conducts an empirical analysis using AMOS and PASW of the effect for the management innovation infra-especially, mission statement and strategy and HRM practices to organizational performance. The study confirms that management innovation infra has an influence on the HRM practices. It partly confirms the effect of HRM practices on the relationship between organizational performance-turn over rate.

Improved Throughput Scaling of Large Ultra-Wide Band Ad Hoc Networks (거대 초 광 대역 애드 혹 네트워크에서의 개선된 용량 스케일링)

  • We show improved throughput scaling laws for an ultra-wide band (UWB) ad hoc network, in which n wireless nodes are randomly located. First, we consider the case where a modified hierarchical cooperation (HC) strategy is used. Then, in a dense network of unit area, our result indicates that the derived throughput scaling depends on the path-loss exponent ${\alpha}$ for certain operating regimes due to the power-limited characteristics. It also turns out that the HC protocol is dominant for 2 < ${\alpha}$ < 3 while using the nearest multihop (MH) routing leads to a higher throughput for ${\alpha}{\geq}3$. Second, the impact and benefits of infrastructure support are analyzed, where m base stations (BSs) are regularly placed in UWB networks. In this case, the derived throughput scaling depends on ${\alpha}$ due to the power-limited characteristics for all operating regimes. Furthermore, it is shown that the total throughput scales linearly with parameter m as m is larger than a certain level. Hence, the use of either HC or infrastructure is helpful in improving the throughput of UWB networks in some conditions.

  • 스마트그리드는 저탄소 녹색성장이 전지구적 과제로 등장하면서 온실가스 배출을 최소화하는 그린에너지 산업 혁신의 핵심으로 출현하였다. 대한민국은 에너지 위기 및 기후 변화에 대웅하고 안정적 전력 공급과 효율적 수요 관리 그리고 신성장동력원으로써 필요성을 내세워 스마트그리드를 정책 및 기술 개발을 추진 중에 있다. 스마트그리드는 전통적인 송배전 역량 강화와 전력 IT화에 따른 사용자 서비스 확장의 2가지 측면에서 진화방향을 모색중이다. 특히 기존의 전력망에 정보통신(Information and Communication Technology : ICT)기술을 융합한 인프라를 기반으로 하여, 전력공급자와 소비자 사이의 전력거래에 대한 정보를 양방향, 실시간으로 교환하여 에너지를 효율적으로 이용하는 전력 서비스로서의 역할에 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본 고에서는 ICT 기술이 융합된 스마트그리드 구조와 네트워킹과 정보 인프라로서의 스마트그리드 정보통신 기술에 대하여 간단하게 정리해 보고자 한다. 스마트그리드 내에 다양한 응용 서비스가 연계된 통신구조에 대하여 알아보고, 적용 가능한 다양한 통신기술에 대하여 살펴본다. 또한 현재 운영중인 스마트그리드 표준화 조직 및 표준화 동향에 대하여 살펴보고, 그 중 전력시스템과 종단 응용 서비스 및 부하를 포함하는 에너지기술, 정보기술운영 관점에서의 스마트그리드 상호운용성 및 표준 현황에 대하여 기술해 보고자 한다.

Evaluation of Bonding Performance in UHPC-based Concrete Repair Materials Considering Surface of Structure Subject to Repair (보수대상 구조 표면 상태를 고려한 UHPC 기반 콘크리트 보수재료의 부착 성능 평가)

  • In this study, the bonding performance of repair materials was evaluated on concrete repair surface to develop concrete repair materials based on UHPC (Ultra High Performance Concrete) which has high mechanical and durability performance. The ten test variables were applied considering the roughness and wet condition of the concrete surface subject to repair, the addition of polymer, and the use PP and PVA fibers in repair materials. The addition of the polymer caused a significant decrease in strength, which was thought to be due to the effect of the additional super plasticizer used to adjust workability. Also, flow was reduced by up to 13.8 % with the use of plastic-based fibers. As a result of evaluating the bond strength of the repair material considering the condition of the surface subject to repair, it was thought that in the case of using UHPC-based repair material, high bonding performance could be secured without any additional surface treatment as long as the surface of the base material was sound. In addition, UHPC-based repair materials showed high bonding performance even when the attachment surface was wet. In the future, research will be conducted on shot-crete application and gradient pouring for the development of UHPC-based repair materials, and continuous improvement in the repair material mixing property will be carried out to ensure economic efficiency and performance as a concrete structural repair material.

Evaluating Chloride Absorption of Reinforced Concrete Structures with Crack Widths (균열 폭에 따른 콘크리트 구조물에서의 염화물 흡수 평가)

  • Deterioration of reinforced concrete structure caused by chloride ingress is the main issue and regrading this, many studies have been investigated with both experiments and computational modelling. In addition to chloride diffusion, chloride sorption should be considered as a chloride transport mechanism in concrete structure and cracks formed in concrete structures are the main variable to evaluate the performance of the structures. In this study, after making two types of cracks width (0.1 and 0.3 mm) in reinforced concretes, chloride absorption tests were performed. Weight change and colour change using 0.1 AgNO3 solution from the samples were performed to measure chloride ingress. Image processing was also carried out to quantify range of colour change in carck face. From the result, it were confirmed that the amount of chloride absorption increases with exposure time and increasing crack width, and chlorides reached at steel depth within 1 hour. It would be possible that chloride can move through interface bewteen steel and concrete, thereby further study regarding this is required.

A Plan of Communications Network Modernization suitable to an Area Characteristic in North-Korea (북한의 지역특성에 적합한 통신망 현대화 방안)

  • The aim of this paper is to present suitable and applicable aspects for domestic and foreign conditions and strategies for modernizing a realizable communications network based on local characteristics in North Korea. Thus, the selection of an objective area, the collection of data, the analysis of characteristics of objective area, the prediction of demand and traffic and the establishment of methods for modernizing a synthetic communications network are necessary. Hut because a general communications inflation in North Korea is placed under primary stage, it is impossible to consider all things mentioned above. Therefore, in this paper, it is considered only basic strategies for modernizing communications network and established a structure of a conceptual communications network in the goal year.

Semantic Segmentation for Multiple Concrete Damage Based on Hierarchical Learning (계층적 학습 기반 다중 콘크리트 손상에 대한 의미론적 분할)

  • The condition of infrastructure deteriorates as the service life increases. Since most infrastructure in South Korea were intensively built during the period of economic growth, the proportion of outdated infrastructure is rapidly increasing now. Aging of such infrastructure can lead to safety accidents and even human casualties. To prevent these issues in advance, periodic and accurate inspection is essential. For this reason, the need for research to detect various types of damage using computer vision and deep learning is increasingly required in the field of remotely controlled or autonomous inspection. To this end, this study proposed a neural network structure that can detect concrete damage by classifying it into three types. In particular, the proposed neural network can detect them more accurately through a hierarchical learning technique. This neural network was trained with 2,026 damage images and tested with 508 damage images. As a result, we completed an algorithm with average mean intersection over union of 67.04% and F1 score of 52.65%. It is expected that the proposed damage detection algorithm could apply to accurate facility condition diagnosis in the near future.

차세대 지능형 교통 시스템의 요소 기술 연구 동향

  • 협력 지능형 교통 시스템 (C-ITS: Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System)은 차량이 도로 인프라 또는 다른 차량과 서로 통신하면서 전방의 교통사고 및 장애물과 주변 차량 정보를 공유하여 위험상황을 피할 수 있도록 사전에 경고하는 미래형 교통체계이다. C-ITS는 보행자 및 차량의 안전을 향상시키고 배출탄소량 감소 및 교통물류의 효율성을 증가시킬 수 있는 미래사회의 핵심 인프라가 될 전망이다. C-ITS의 성공적인 실현을 위해서는 다중 센서 융 복합 기반 교통정보 수집, 교통정보를 쌍방향으로 유통하기 위한 통합 무선 통신망, 스마트 기기와 이동통신망을 활용한 실시간 교통정보 수집 및 빅 데이터 처리와 주문형 서비스 제공 등의 핵심 기술 개발이 필요하다. 본 고에서는 협력형 교통 환경에서의 C-ITS 구조 및 관련 핵심 요소 기술을 소개하고, 앞으로 해결할 과제를 소개 한다.
