  • 본 논문은 철강산업의 R&D 역량강화를 위해 IT 부문이 지원할 수 있는 정책을 모색하고 이에 대한 타당성을 검증한 사례연구이다. 기술추격형에서 기술선도형의 전환기에 놓여있는 국내 철강산업이 R&D 역량을 강화하기 위해서는 개별 철강사뿐만 아니라 대학, 연구소 등 외부와의 개방형 R&D 연계체제를 적극 추진해야 한다. 이러한 상황하에서 IT가 R&D 역량 강화를 효과적으로 지원하는 역할을 수행해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 목적을 갖는 IT 분야의 지원정책들을 개발하고 우선순위 분석, 수요분석 등을 통해 제안된 정책들의 타당성을 검토하며, Triple Helix관점에서 정부, 기업, 학계의 역할을 논의한다.

The Effect of Start-up Accelerating Manager's Enabling Characteristics on Their Full Commitment & Performance to Start-up Support Groups: In The Center of Manager's Self-Efficacy (창업지원 매니저의 역량 특성이 창업지원단 몰입도와 업무성과에 미치는 영향: 매니저의 자기효능감을 중심으로)

  • Korean Government Budget Supports for startups have been spiked and resulted in increasing the number and scaling up Startup Accelerating managers. It have skyrocketed the strong demand for their qualified roles. However, unclear role description and gap between required role and their capability have discouraged startup manager's self-efficacy resulted in declining their full commitment and causing poor role performance. The focus of this research falls on empirical analysis to the effect of startup accelerating manager's capability characteristics on their full commitment and performance to start-up support groups. This research is expected to deliver diverse policy alternatives to build up manager's core competencies to accelerate their self-efficacy leading their full role commitments and finally pushing up policy performance. In addition, this research will found more strong literature review for the following researches in this emerging fields. This research is brought four highlighting results with respect to four research problems. First, it propose proper concept of startup accelerating manager based upon its legal entitlement. Second, it drive required core competencies of manager for successful their accountability. Third, it analyze the unique features of startup accelerating manger's capabilities against business incubation manger. Fourth, it empirically analyze in coming with government startup funding, the effect of self-efficacy including employment status, job environment, etc. on their organizational commitment and job performance. This research reveal the required unique core competencies of manger into founder sourcing ability, project managing ability, startup proving and pivoting ability, consulting ability for successful investment raising. As of this empirical research results, First, manager's ability have positively effect on their job performance, full commitment, and self-efficacy. Second, self-efficacy have a mediating effect on manager's ability, job performance, full commitment. This research derive key policy implication of requiring to build up more accelerating ability, of manager from the basics to advance level by customized and algorithm based traing program. This accelerating ability buildup program will not only surge self-efficacy of manger resulting in making full commitment and better job performance, but also devote to categorizing the unique new feature and position of manger as seed investment and supporter.

Developing a Competence Model for Salespeople in a Small-medium Size IT Firm N (중소IT기업 N사 영업사원의 핵심역량모델 개발)

  • Hatching and developing great human resource is getting important in these competitive business environments. It is important to define and utilize personalized competence model for individual firm before hatching and developing its HR. Competence is a unique set of behavior shown as a result of sum of knowledge, skill, value and other personal traits in his/her working environment and the systematic process finding and defining the competence is called competence modeling. The purpose of this study was to perform competence modeling for a small-medium size IT firm N especially for its salespeople and offer suggestions of the usage of the result. Competence model was developed by 'Covering general model' suggested by Dubois. To confirm the validity, survey and workshop was conducted and the model was finalized based on the results. As a result, total 14 core competencies were found and defined by the core salesperson of the firm N. Also the competencies were categorized into three based on the timing of the usage. Additionally, this study offers the ways to utilize the result as foundation for competence based HR system and HRD program for firm N.

The Effect of Bibliotherapy Courses on the Competency of College Students (독서치료가 대학생의 역량에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of bibliotherapy on college students' competency. For this purpose, data were collected from the students who participated in bibliotherapy class. As a result, it was found that bibliotherapy strengthened college students' competency. Specifically, it was found that bibliotherapy has a positive effect on enhancing self-identity and interpersonal relationships in college students. In addition, it has a positive effect on problem solving, and motivation for achievement. These results may be a rationale for the need of bibliotherapy course to strengthen students' competency at college.

  • 날이 갈수록 치열해지는 글로벌 경쟁 환경하에서 살아남기 위해 많은 기업들은 조직 구성원들의 역량 강화를 통한 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위하여 다양한 활동들을 하고 있으며, 이러한 활동중 하나로 액션러닝을 많은 기업들이 채택하여 활용하고 있다. 그러나 액션러닝 과정은 경영층과 팀 리더 차원에서의 적극적인 지원 및 관심뿐만 아니라 참여하는 구성원들도 적극성을 갖고 수행되어야 역량 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 또한 기업의 문화 및 제도 역시 액션러닝이 원활하게 진행될 수 있도록 뒷받침되어야만 성공할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 LG CNS에 도입하여 성공적으로 운영하고 있는 액션러닝의 역량강화 사례를 살펴보고 그 효과성을 분석해 봄으로서 글로벌 경쟁에서 살아남고 더 나아가 글로벌 IT서비스 기업과 대등한 수준에서 경쟁하기 위해 역량 강화를 원하는 여러 IT서비스 업체들에게 역량 향상을 위한 하나의 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

The Effect of Consultant competency on the Project performance and Social-relational competency : focus on ICMCI competence framework (컨설턴트역량이 프로젝트성과와 사회관계역량에 미치는 영향 : ICMCI 역량프레임워크를 중심으로)

  • As the domestic consulting industry matured, consultants were required to have insight into customer's business and consulting business. Gaining these insights requires deep understanding of the business domains and high degree of competencies. This study empirically analyzed the data collected through the survey in order to apply the ICMCI competence model to domestic consultants. As a result of the study, it was found that business competency and technical competency had a positive effect on project performance, but values & behavior competency were not statistically significant. On the other hand, it was found that only technical competency, values & behavior competency had a positive effect on social-relational competency. Through this study, it was confirmed that a deep understanding and perception of the consulting business is necessary to grow into a professional consultant, but there is a limit to generalizing the research results because the characteristics of the population cannot be sufficiently reflected with a small sample.

An Empirical Study on the Relationship between the Capabilities and Sales Growth of Research-based Spin-off Companies (연구소기업의 역량과 매출성장 간의 관계에 관한 실증연구)

  • This study aims to analyze research-based spin-off companies, which are established in Innopolis to promote the commercialization of R&D outputs of public institutions. We analyzed 175 technology-based start-ups, which were founded before 2016, to examine how the companies' capabilities affect the sales growth rate. The results show that technological capability and entrepreneurial capability have positive relations with sales growth, while network capability and finance capability do not have significant associations. In addition, R&D intensity (R&D expenditure per employee) has moderating effects on the association between firm capabilities and sales growth rate since it strengthens the effect of technological capability and entrepreneurial capability but weakens the influence of network capability. This study contributes to widening the understanding of the importance of capabilities of research-based spin-off companies and their performance, and differs from most previous literature since it uses objective and quantitative data. It further suggests policy implications that the enhancement of technological and entrepreneurial capability are important for the stable growth of technology-based startups in the early stage.

  • In the construction industry, success or failure depends on the capability and role of the project owner's organization, which has an effect on the peoples' lives and national finance because of a lot of involvement from the project owner. Therefore, it is required that the project owner has the sufficient capability for the success of relevant industry and the further development of whole industry. Therefore, at the viewpoint of successful accomplishment of the construction industry, systematic and in-depth research that defines and evaluates the capability of the project owner's organization is necessary. As-Is and To-Be competency can be measured by the individual areas and elements through the survey. By evaluating these capabilities simultaneously, it is possible to assume not only the project owner's organizational competency but also constant other capabilities. It is become to make plans for strengthening the capabilities and to establish the strategy, by catching which capabilities are really necessary. It will result in positive effects on improving the capabilities of the project owner's organizational competency.

  • 최근 취업에 청신호가 켜진 IT분야에서 전공자들이 취업을 준비할 때, 선 취업 후 실무 역량을 강화해야 할지 또는 실무 역량을 충분히 갖추고 난후 취업해야 할지는 직무 역량에 따라 차이가 있을 것이다. 그러나 열심히 취업을 준비해온 학생들은 좀 더 자신감을 가지고 적극적으로 취업 지원을 할 필요가 있다. 학생들에게 취업 지도를 하는 교수자로서 자신이 가진 역량에 비해 자신감이 없는 학생들을 보면 안타까울 때가 많다. 본 연구에서는 IT분야 기 취업자들에게 취업 시 필요한 역량에 대한 설문을 실시함으로써, 취업을 준비하는 학생들에게 실제 취업에 성공한 취업자들의 의견을 통해 보다 자신감을 가지고 취업 지원을 하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

A Validity Study for the Development of a Digital Competency Assessment Tool for Preschool Teachers (유아교사의 디지털 역량 측정 도구 개발을 위한 타당성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is examine the validity of digital competency indicators in order to develop a tool that can measure the digital competency of preschool teachers. To review the validity, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted on the data of 272 preschool teachers. The exploratory factor analysis resulted in four factors, and the confirmatory factor analysis verified the fit, validity(convergent validity, discriminant validity) and reliability of each competency group and the model composition of sub-competency indicators. The four factors validated were named 'Understanding Digital Technologies', 'Digital Technology Understanding', 'Digital Technology Application', 'Digital Technology-based Communication', 'Digital Ethics Understanding and Practice'. The analysis results demonstrated the reliability and validity of the tool for measuring the digital competencies of preschool teachers, and it is meaningful in that it can provide a foundation for measuring the digital competency of preschool teachers and conducting education program suitable for each digital competency level.
