This paper presents an analysis of impulse dispersion for impulse radio ultra-wide band(IR-UWB) antenna. A set of antenna structure configurations are highlighted with verification based on the STFT(Short Time Fourier Transform) in 3.1~5.1 GHz: first, a taper-slotted antenna allowing the optimal impulse transmission, and second, 4 types of the omni-directional IR-UWB antenna using different feed structures(microstrip line, and CPW(Coplanar Waveguide)). The proposed STFT allows the analysis of the IR-UWB antenna's dispersion characteristic.

This study is focused on the structural dynamic responses, i.e., vibration analysis results of the high-accuracy observation multi-axial camera, which is installed and operated for the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and helicopter etc. And, the authors newly suggest a modeling technology of the ball bearing applied to the camera by using three-axis spring elements. The vibration analysis results well agreed to the randum vibration test results. Also, the vibration responses characteristics of the multi-axial camera through the time history analysis of the random vibration were analyzed and evaluated. The above results can be applied to the FE-modeling of the ball bearings used for the space cameras.

In this paper, a post-analysis of cooling system for infrared(IR) window was performed based on heating experiment of IR window system. We applied the same experimental conditions to analysis, and then validated the analysis technique by comparing numerical and experimental results. For an analysis software, we used a professional heat/fluid analysis program and the numerical and experimental results were in fairly good agreement. We investigated the effect of thermal transfer between the frame and IR window and also a cooling efficiency between fluid and structure in order to determine the proper parameters for the analysis. In this study, 100 % thermal transfer between the frame and IR window and 30 % cooling efficiency between fluid and structure have been proposed, which can be used in the future conceptual design and analysis of similar IR windows.

In this study, we classified three copying papers and Korean, Chinese, and Japanese traditional papers using IR and/or NIR spectra and principal component analysis. Various chemicals are used when producing fine papers. In this case, the IR method to analyze functional groups is suitable for the classification of paper. On the other hand, NIR analysis is more suitable for the classification of traditional papers, as it uses nearly raw materials (pulp). Therefore, principal component analysis using IR and NIR depending on the paper production process will be the classification tool of paper.

To determine whether FT-IR spectral analysis based on multivariate analysis for whole cell extracts can be used to discriminate between artichoke (Cynara cardunculus var. scolymus L.) plants at the metabolic level, leaves of ten artichoke plants were subjected to Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy. FT-IR spectral data from leaves were analyzed by principal component analysis (PCA), partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) and hierarchical clustering analysis (HCA). FT-IR spectra confirmed typical spectral differences between the frequency regions of 1,700-1,500, 1,500-1,300 and $1,100-950cm^{-1}$, respectively. These spectral regions reflect the quantitative and qualitative variations of amide I, II from amino acids and proteins ($1,700-1,500cm^{-1}$), phosphodiester groups from nucleic acid and phospholipid ($1,500-1,300cm^{-1}$) and carbohydrate compounds ($1,100-950cm^{-1}$). PCA revealed separate clusters that corresponded to their species relationship. Thus, PCA could be used to distinguish between artichoke species with different metabolite contents. PLS-DA showed similar species classification of artichoke. Furthermore these metabolic discrimination systems could be used for the rapid selection and classification of useful artichoke cultivars.

Recently IR detecting devices using MEMS have been actively studied. Microbolometer, one of these devices, detects the change of resistivity as the change of temperature of the device by absorbing IR, IR absorbing materials for microbolometer should have high TCR value and low noise characteristics which depends on resistivity. We fabricated multi-layer VOx thin films to improve the IR detectivity of uncooled IR devices and analyzed IR absorbing characteristics. We fabricated multi-layer VOx thin films by RF reactive sputtering method on SiNx substrate and changed characteristics using the different thickness of V and V$_2$O$\_$5/ thin films. Then we annealed them under 300$\^{C}$. The TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) measurement was carried out to estimate the IR detectivity of multi-layer VOx thin films. XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) analysis was carried out to estimate the IR detectivity of multi-layer VOx thin films. ZXRD (X-Ray Diffraction) analysis was used to find out phases and structures of V and V$_2$O$\_$5/ thin films. AES (Auger Electron Spectroscopy) analysis was used to find out composition of multi-layer VOx thin films before and after annealing. We obtained the optimum thickness range of V and V$_2$O$\_$5/ thin films from the result of AES analysis. We changed the thickness of V$_2$O$\_$5/ about 20 to 150 $\AA$ and thickness of V about 10 to 20 $\AA$. As the result of this, TCR value of multi-layer VOx thin films was about -2%/k and the resistivity was ∼1Ωcm.
The international standard for FT-IR gas analysis of fire effluents in ISO 5660-1 cone calorimeter has been being developed in ISO TC 92. A comparison of the round-robin test of WD 21397 was conducted with six participating laboratories in 2018. The test specimens were PMMA, rigid PU foam board, and PVC flooring. The measurement quantities were the time-to-ignition, peak heat release rate, total heat release, and effective heat of combustion for a cone calorimeter test and peak gas concentration, gas generation, and gas yield for FT-IR gas analysis. No outliers were identified. For the cone calorimeter quantities, the repeatability and reproducibility were 1.5% and 9.8%, respectively. For FT-IR gas analysis, the repeatability and reproducibility was 12.9% and 27.9%, respectively.

Acceptance criteria for chemical admixtures of cement concrete were investigated in domestic and international specifications. The reliability was verified for solid content test method of chemical admixture examined statistical analysis by round robin test. The applicability of FT-IR spectroscopy for qualitative measurement of multi-compound chemical admixtures verified. From solid content experimental results, outlier analysed using Cochran, Grubbs and Dickson's Q test. Repeatability and reproducibility standard deviation for solid content results showed 0.25 and 0.098% respectively according to KS A ISO 5725-2 procedure, it can be confirmed reliability of test methods. FT-IR spectrum of liquefied or oven-dried chemical admixtures condition showed big differences. It is needed that the FT-IR analysis is performed on dry material. However there's no difference with the applicability of FT-IR spectroscopy for multi-compound chemical admixtures. So the utility of method analysis could not identify.

Recently, static analysis-based signature and pattern detection technologies have limitations due to the advanced IT technologies. Moreover, It is a compatibility problem of multiple architectures and an inherent problem of signature and pattern detection. Malicious codes use obfuscation and packing techniques to hide their identity, and they also avoid existing static analysis-based signature and pattern detection techniques such as code rearrangement, register modification, and branching statement addition. In this paper, We propose an LLVM IR image-based automated static analysis of malicious code technology using machine learning to solve the problems mentioned above. Whether binary is obfuscated or packed, it's decompiled into LLVM IR, which is an intermediate representation dedicated to static analysis and optimization. "Therefore, the LLVM IR code is converted into an image before being fed to the CNN-based transfer learning algorithm ResNet50v2 supported by Keras". As a result, we present a model for image-based detection of malicious code.
In this paper, the effects of the interference environments on the performance of the time hopping(TH) binary PPM impulse radio(IR) system are presented. Based on the monocycle pulse available within the frequency of 3.1~10.6 GHz permitted for application by FCC, a PPM-modulated TH IR system simulator was designed and followed by the analysis of the monocycle pulse characteristics as well as the system performance. Particularly for the evaluation of the system performance, the multiple access interference and the narrowband system interference signals were considered as the interference signals. Since the narrowband system interference signal has very narrow bandwidth and very large amplitude compared with those of IR system, the analysis of the IR system performance was implemented by considering the interference power and band fraction ratio of the narrowband interference signal.
