  • 기존의 유/무선 전화, 인터넷, TV 등을 통합하여 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기 위한 차세대 통신망으로 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project)에서 최초 3세대 이동 통신망으로 제안되었던 IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) 가 표준으로 자리 잡아가고 있으며, 전 세계 통신 회사들이 IMS를 기반으로 차세대 통신망을 구축하고 있다. 이러한 IMS 망을 이해, 분석하기 위해서는 IMS 망에서 이용되는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)에 대한 이해와 SIP 패킷을 분석할 수 있는 패킷 분석기가 필요하다. SIP는 VoIP환경에서 호 설정을 위해 개발된 텍스트 기반의 프로토콜로써 포맷의 간결성과 확장성으로 인하여 차세대 통신망인 IMS의 주요 프로토콜로 채택되었으며, IMS 망 환경에 맞게 확장 되었다. 본 논문에서는 SIP 패킷 분석기를 IMS 기반으로 패킷 분석 결과를 비주얼한 화면으로 보여줄 수 있도록 설계, 구현하여 사용자가 SIP 패킷 분석을 통하여 IMS 망을 이해, 분석하는데 도움을 주고자 한다.

  • IMS(IP Multi-Media Subsystem) base on the IP service platform which can offer multimedia as the voice, audio, video, and data is service platform. In 3G mobile communication in the early day, IMS had a suggestion for supporting to multimedia service in the 3GPP. But now It is broadly substituting in the IPTV, wire phone company and it is substituted in internet platform base on the soft-switch in currently. Especially nowadays, 4G LTE in a mobile communication company is rapidly growing in market. Therefore, in this study, we had designed to the main prosser that can admit to 1,000 user over and SIP gateway which can link the IMS 코어 that can link SIP Device which adopt the standard protocol on the SIP.

  • IMS(IP Multi-Media Subsystem) is in the limelight as the Integrated wire and wireless Systems because of a sudden increase of smart mobile devices and growth of multimedia additional services such as IPTV. The structure of IMS is designed as a session control layer to provide various multimedia summative service using SIP based on IP communication network in order to carry out set-up, change and release by NGN of course, the existing voice services. But now It is broadly substituting in the IPTV, wire phone company and it is substituted in internet platform base on the soft-switch in currently. Especially, in currently, 4G LTE in a mobile communication company is rapidly growing in market. Therefore, in this study, we had designed and developed to the main prosser that can admit to 1000 user over and SIP gateway which can link the IMS Core that can link SIP Device which adopt the standard protocol on the SIP and to provide variable multimedia services.

  • Lawful interception(LI) standard of telephone networks has technical limitations to lawfully intercept IMS/SIP-based mobile communication network subscriber who using Android and iPhone device. In addition, the technical standards related to legal interception of the IMS/SIP of the wireless network is insufficient compared to the systematic study of the development of a wireless network infrastructure. The architecture proposed in the standard of ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute) for the seamless LI is insufficient to overcome the limitations of traditional voice-centric LI techniques. This paper proposes an IMS/SIP-based architecture to perform LI under 3G networks that focuses on mobility-supported environments with merging cellular networks and the Internet. We implemented the simulation to verify the efficiency of the proposed architecture, and the experimental results show that our method achieves higher lawful interception rate than that of existing interception methods.

  • Service platform which can offer various multimedia communication as the video, audio, voice and data is IMS(IP Multi-Media Subsystem). It is effective in the company is introducing only such convergence IMS services to be required to provide various multimedia services at the lowest cost and existing communication environment while keeping the maximum Therefore, in this study, we had developed IMS 코어 main system that not more than 1,000 employees of companies can effectively establish IMS solutions. This system is located at the middle between IMS terminal and CSCF(Call Session Control Function) in line with IMS services and provides CSCF in response to the IMS terminal and IMS terminal in response to the CSCF. As well, corded telephone and SIP phone which were used as terminal is linked with gateway.

  • In this paper, we design and implement a visual IMS protocol analyzer, VIPA(Visual IMS Protocol Analyzer), providing a graphical view of session connection information between user equipments on IMS network. The VIPA captures SIP packets, which are used to setup sessions on IMS networks, and shows graphical view of session information to provide easy way to analyze IMS protocols. The existing protocol analyzer has limitation to show only terminal side protocol analysis information. Whereas the VIPA can provide not only terminal side but also server side analysis result so that the connection status between all the session participating user agents can be monitored.

  • This paper reviews the Parlay X and proposes SIP multimedia session control mechanism which is able to be implemented over IMS using Extended Call Control APIs of Parlay X. Parlay X is one of the industrial standards of Open API in the telecommunication to open network resources and capabilities to third party service providers. In this paper, SIP session control mechanism is described by depicting call flows of basic and essential session handling methods including session initiation, transfer, restoration, and termination. We also show how easy Parlay X Extended Call Control APIs can be used for the purpose of complicated calls handling in the IT applications. To verify feasibility of the blended services based on convergence of telecommunication and internet with regard to performance, we accomplish experimental performance of Extended Call Control APIs from IT application through open service gateway. We show Open API could be applied to next generation network based on IMS without serious degradation of the network performance.

  • Lawful Interception (LI)이란 합법적인 형태의 통신내용 및 관련 정보의 수집활동을 말한다. 최근의 4G LTE 기반의 이 기종 통신망에서의 합법적 감청은 전통적인 유선 및 3G 네트워크 중심의 감청기법 이외의 새로운 기법과 표준이 필요한 실정이다. 특히, LTE와 같이 User Equipment (UE)가 네트워크상에서 핸드오버를 통해 자유롭게 이동하거나, 3G와 같은 이 기종 망에서의 연결을 포함한 다른 사업자의 새로운 지역에서의 네트워크 연결이 보장되는 형태의 환경에서의 연속적 감청을 보장하는 것은 합법적 감청분야의 중요한 이슈중의 하나이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 국내의 4G-LTE망을 중심으로 기존의 3G 망을 자유롭게 이동하는 네트워크 도메인과 IMS/SIP 기반의 서버의 연속성을 보장하는 서비스 도메인 영역에서의 합법적 감청 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 이 기종 무선망과 유선망이 혼재된 네트워크에서의 IMS/SIP 기반 서비스의 이동성을 감지하여 합법적 감청의 연속성을 보장하기 위한 기법을 포함하고 있다.

Development of Intelligent Gateway for IoT office service in small size (IoT 오피스 서비스를 위한 소용량 지능형 게이트웨이 개발)

  • Over the next decade, there are estimated to be 250 billion IoT devices in the future, and a variety of new services and device markets are expected to be created via a new network connection. However, it is difficult to accommodate various sensors and IoT devices, such as product and installation environments, for existing IP/SIP/IMS cameras and video door phone. Additionally, recently, sensors and actuators that can accommodate IoT technology and standards are continually updated. In addition, this paper has developed an SIP/IMS intelligent gateway to flexibly accommodate IoT related equipments and to interface with ZigBee/Z-Wave/NFC endpoints in addition to the gateway basic functions. This intelligent gateway will contribute to the development of the IMS system to replace the VoIP system with the IMS equipment due to the growth of the IMS market.
