  • In present paper, we obtain functions $R_t(c,{\nu},a,b)$ and $R_t(c,-{\mu},a,b)$ by using generalized hypergeometric function. A recurrence relation, integral representation of the generalized hypergeometric function $_2R_1(a,b;c;{\tau};z)$ and some special cases have also been discussed.

  • In this paper we study some important properties of the bivariate generalized hypergeometric probability (BGHP) distribution by establishing the existence of all the moments of the distribution and by deriving recurrence relations for raw moments. It is shown that certain mixtures of BGHP distributions are again BGHP distributions and a limiting case of the distribution is considered.

  • A large number of summation and transformation formulas involving (generalized) hypergeometric functions have been developed by many authors. Here we aim at establishing two (presumably) new general hypergeometric transformations. The results are derived by manipulating the involved series in an elementary way with the aid of certain hypergeometric summation theorems obtained earlier by Rakha and Rathie. Relevant connections of certain special cases of our main results with several known identities are also pointed out.

  • Several interesting and useful extensions of some familiar special functions such as Beta and Gauss hypergeometric functions and their properties have, recently, been investigated by many authors. Motivated mainly by those earlier works, we establish some fractional integral formulas involving the extended generalized Gauss hypergeometric function by using certain general pair of fractional integral operators involving Gauss hypergeometric function $_2F_1$, Some interesting special cases of our main results are also considered.

  • Recently, Parmar [5] introduced a new extension of the ${\tau}$-Gauss hypergeometric function $_2R^{\tau}_1(z)$. The main object of this paper is to study this extended ${\tau}$-Gauss hypergeometric function and obtain its properties including connection with modified Bessel function of third kind and extended generalized hypergeometric function, several contiguous relations, differential relations, integral transforms and elementary integrals. Various special cases of our results are also discussed.

  • In the theory of hypergeometric functions of one or several variables, a remarkable amount of mathematicians's concern has been given to develop their transformation formulas and summation identities. Here we aim at presenting explicit expressions (in a single form) of the following weighted Appell's function $F_1$: $$(1+2x)^{-a}(1+2z)^{-b}F_1\;\(c,\;a,\;b;\;2c+j;\;\frac{4x}{1+2x},\;\frac{4z}{1+2z}\)\;(j=0,\;{\pm}1,\;{\ldots},\;{\pm}5)$$ in terms of Exton's triple hypergeometric $X_9$. The results are derived with the help of generalizations of Kummer's second theorem very recently provided by Kim et al. A large number of very interesting special cases including Exton's result are also given.

  • The aim of this paper is to establish certain integrals involving product of the Aleph function with exponential function and multi Gauss's hypergeometric function. Being unified and general in nature, these integrals yield a number of known and new results as special cases. For the sake of illustration, twelve corollaries are also recorded here as special case of our main results.

  • This paper deals with the evaluation of two definite integrals involving spheroidal wave function, H-function of two variables, and the generalized hypergeometric function. Also, an expansion formula for the product of generalized hypergeometric function and the H-function of two variables has been obtained. Since the H-function of two variables, spheroidal wave functions, and the generalized hypergeometric function may be transformed into a number of higher transcendental functions and polynomials, the results obtained in this paper include some known results as their particular cases. As an application of such results, a problem of heat conduction in a non-homogenous bar has been solved by using the generalized Legendre transform [9].

  • Recently, Liu and Wang generalized Appell's and Lauricella's hypergeometric functions. Motivated by the work of Liu and Wang, the main object of this paper is to present new generalizations of Appell's and Lauricella's hypergeometric functions. Some integral representations, transformation formulae, differential formulae and recurrence relations are obtained for these new generalized Appell's and Lauricella's functions.
