  • The human brain has the most powerful capabilities in thinking, interpreting, remembering, and problem-solving. Artificial neural network is appeared by scientists who have tried to simulate such a human brain. The artificial neural network has the capability of learning, massive parallelism capability and robustness for disturbance which are necessary for power system application. In this paper, We reviewed the typical topologies and learning algorithms of artifical neural networks which can be used for pattern classification. And we surveyed for the applications of artifical neural network to the power system.

센(Sen)의 능력 접근을 통한 빈곤 여성가장 가계의 생활실태에 대한 질적 평가 (The Qualitative Evaluation of Low-Income Single Mother Families' Poverty Status According to the Capability Approach of Amartya Sen)

  • This study evaluates the poverty experiences of low-income single mothers according to the Capability Approach of Amartya Sen. In this approach, the capability to achieve the basic functionings of life, not income itself, is the criterion of poverty. 26 single mothers were interviewed using focus-group interviews and in-depth interviews. 21 functionings on the existence level, 18 on the relatedness level, and 15 on the growth level were found in the areas of work, health, food consumption, clothing, housing, child rearing, and leisure. The results of this study suggest that low-income single mothers can achieve only some of the existence level functionings with significant help from welfare services. They can scarcely achieve higher level functionings in any of these areas.

  • The purpose of this study is first to understand whether technology innovation capability, which is considered an important factor in the Root companies, directly affects the business performance of the company. Second, it was attempted to determine whether internal resources deemed necessary for a company's continuous competitive advantage and excellent business performance play a mediating role in the technological innovation capability of the Root companies and the business performance. The implications of this study derived from the research results are as follows: Among the elements of technology innovation capability, R&D capability, positively affects both financial and non-financial performance. It was confirmed that the investment ratio could positively affect financial performance such as sales, market share, and yield, and non-financial performance such as corporate image, employee satisfaction, and productivity. Among the factors of technology innovation capability, the technology innovation system positively affects both financial and non-financial performance. Therefore, it can be said that securing rights to owned technology, establishing technology and funding, efficient use of resources, etc., affects financial performance such as sales or market share of a company, and affect the company's production capacity, image, and employee satisfaction. It has been verified that internal resources, including financial, physical, and human resources, can mediate between the three elements of technology innovation capability and corporate financial and non-financial performance.

  • This work presents the relationship between the domains of Human Factors Integration(HFI) to develop the weapon systems through integrating human factors into the defense acquisition program. The HFI is a systematic process for identifying, tracking and resolving human related issues ensuring a balanced development of both technologies and human aspects of capability. In this point of view, this paper identifies and analyzes the HFI domains. Based on the results, this paper presents the relationships between the domains of the HFI.

중소 IT 서비스 기업 소프트웨어 인력의 이직 의도, 직무 배태성 및 직무 만족, 인사관리 프랙티스 간의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationships among Turnover Intention, Job Embeddedness and Job Satisfaction, and Human Resource Management Practices of the Software Personnel in Small and Medium Sized IT Service Firms)

  • This study aims to suggest research implications that may contribute to preventing turnover of personnel in small and medium sized software companies. A research model is developed based on the Bergiel, et al. (2009) and Woo and Hwang (2010). This model describes how human resource management (HRM) practices (compensation, recognition, job autonomy, technical capability development, work-life conflict) affect turnover intention, through the mediating effects of job satisfaction and job embeddedness. 177 questionnaires are collected and analyzed. Validity and reliability of measures, and appropriateness of the structural model are verified. Results of the hypotheses testing are somewhat different from the expected ones: Only compensation and technical capability development are significant, but the remaining variables are not significant in affecting job satisfaction and job embeddedness. As for turnover intention, job embeddedness and job satisfaction are proved to be significant predictors. From the analyses of data, subsequent interview with several respondents and additional data analyses, more research implications are derived. The study has a limitation of not including more diverse variables that might affect job embeddedness and job satisfaction of so called road warriors.

지식경영의 핵심요인이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 건설산업을 중심으로 - (A Empirical Study on the Influences of Core Factor of Knowledge Management on Organizational Effectiveness - Focus on Construction Industry -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between core factor of Knowledge Management(KM) and organizational effectiveness. The objects of study are middle manager in hosing construction and civil engineering and construction industry, and the sample size is 228. The core factor of KM and indicator of organizational effectiveness are drawn by literature survey. The core factors are classified into human capital, organizational capital, structural capital, (to put it concretely), job capability, human relation, strategy, information technology, process, sharing culture, leadership, measurement. The indicator of organizational effectiveness are measured by job satisfaction, organization loyalty, competitiveness. The main results of this study can be summarized as the following. 1) The core factor of KM has a positive relationship to organizational effectiveness. Especially, the core factor of sharing culture and leadership are strongly relationship with organizational effectiveness. 2) There was a high positive correlation between job satisfaction and organization loyalty. 3) Human, structural, and structural capital had a different affect on organizational effectiveness. 4) The more job position and educational level high, the more they recognized that KM is necessary for their organization. 5) Among the success factor in KM, the factor of job capability was well perceived to respondent. According to this study, we can analyzed the relationship between success factor and organizational effectiveness, and drawn the most influence success factor on organizational effectiveness. Concurrently, the results of this study will be useful guidelines for shaping the KM operation framework in construction industry.

  • 본 연구는 2016 구글 딥마인드 챌린지 매치에서 최고 수준의 딥러닝 인공신경망을 갖고 있는 인공지능 알파고와 인간지능의 대표로 상징되는 바둑 최고수의 대국 분석 및 문헌 연구로 인공지능 시대에 적합한 학습자의 역량 교육에 대해 논의했다. 알파고는 지금까지 알려져 있는 바둑의 정석과 상식을 넘어서는 새로운 바둑의 패러다임을 보여주는 기발한 수를 두었고, 이세돌은 알파고도 생각하지 못한 '신의 한 수' 로 인공지능 수퍼 컴퓨터를 이길 수 있었다. 이는 인간의 집념과 도전, 인간 본성의 통찰과 직관의 승리였다. 인공지능 시대에 기계를 조정하고 통제할 수 있는 학습자 역량을 기르기 위한 융합과학 교육은 자연으로부터의 감성적 체험과 토포필리아 교육으로 인공지능이 갖지 못한 인간 본성의 다채로운 감성과 통찰, 긍정적 정서를 함양시킬 수 있는 방향이어야 한다.

조선산업 폐합판의 강도적 성질과 흡음성능 (Mechanical Properties and Sound Absorption Capability of Shipbuilding Plywood Waste)

  • 적절한 용도개발이 필요한 조선산업 폐합판의 흡음성능과 기계적 성질을 파악하고자 메이플과 메란티 폐합판을 적층하고 재단하여 폐합판재활용보드를 만들어 전달함수법으로 흡음율을 측정하고 휨강도를 측정하였다. 메이플과 메란티에서 제작된 폐합판 적층 보드의 최대강도는 각각 534와 414 kgf/$cm^2$으로 나타나 상용합판과 비교하여 비슷한 강도성능을 나타내었다. 측정주파수범위에서 메란티 폐합판재활용보드의 흡음율은 0.25 전후의 수치를 나타내어 비교 대상인 섬유판과 신갈나무 시험편보다 높은 흡음율을 나타내었다. 폐합판 재활용보드의 측면을 슬라이스절삭하여 제작한 보드는 우수한 강도적 성능과 흡음성능으로 실내장식재로의 재활용이 기대되었다.

억새 파티클보드의 흡음성능과 휨강도성능 (Sound Absorption Capability and Bending Strength of Miscanthus Particle Based Board)

  • 억새파티클보드의 흡음재로서의 사용가능성을 파악하고자 몇 가지 목표비중의 억새파티클보드를 제작하여 전달함수법(two microphone transfer function method)으로 상용주파수대역에서 흡음성능을 측정하고 휨강도 시험으로 역학적성질을 각각 측정, 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 측정주파수범위에서 거대억새보드의 흡음률이 상용석고보드보다 높은 흡음성능을 나타내었다. 탄성계수와 휨강도는 목표비중 증가에 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 억새보드의 흡음률은 1~2.5 Khz 범위의 주파수범위에서 50~80%의 수치를 나타내다 이후 주파수에서는 30~50%의 흡음률을 나타내었으며 비중에 따라서는 비중이 증가할수록 흡음률이 낮아지는 경향을 보였다.
