아파트 거주 고령자의 운동실태 및 실내운동시설 평가 (Current Status of Exercise and Evaluation of Indoor Exercise Environment of Seniors Living in Apartment Complex)

  • This study examined the indoor exercise environment use and needs of older adults. The target population was seniors aged 60 years and older living in a newly developed apartment complex. Variables include demographic and housing characteristics, status of exercise, and indoor exercise environmental evaluation and needs. A total of 102 data items were analyzed using frequency, t-test and ANOVA. Noteworthy results are as below. First, community centers and community welfare centers were the most desirable exercise environments because of affordability, exercise programs/spaces. Such exercise environments should be developed in more locations for increasing numbers of seniors. Second, indoor exercise environments need to be improved based on seniors' physical capabilities and environmental behavior. Third, supportive spaces such as restrooms, shower rooms, locker rooms should be carefully designed. Fourth, seniors wanted to have walking trails and indoor swimming pools, the most desirable exercise spaces, within ten to 15 minutes walking distance.

대학생들의 웰다잉에 대한 인식 태도 및 공간 계획요소 중요도 연구 (A Study on Importance Evaluation on Planning Factors of Well-dying Space and Recognition Attitude of Well-dying in College Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the overall recognition on attitudes of well-dying and evaluation the importance of planning factors of well-dying space in college students. This will serve as a basis to accumulate materials on the recognition of well-dying and well-dying spaces of various generations of South Korea. This study conducted a survey from October 4th to 8th, 2016 with 119 college students from U University and K University. As the contents of the survey, were comprised of general socio-demographic elements, subjective recognition and attitudes toward well-dying, and the importance of the planning factors of the physical, emotional, social and spiritual environments of the well-dying space. The main results are as follows. (1) The interest of university students on death education is high, and there was a preference for 'home' where they could be comfortable and be with loved ones as the space for dying. Also, in case of events of bereaving them after death, formal grieving ceremonies were undesired. The funeral was desired to be simple, serene, and not too sad. (2) In evaluation of the importance of physical, emotional, and spiritual environmental planning factors, physical environmental factors were considered to be the most important overall, and the recognition of importance of the planning factors of spiritual environment was low.

거주 후 평가(P.O.E)에 의한 공공실버주택의 거주환경 분석 (An Analysis of Dwelling Environment of Public Retirement(Silver) Housing Based on Post Occupancy Evaluation)

  • Due to the rapid demographic and structural changes, Korea has faced a variety of social issues and quickly entered the aged society since the 2000s. In order deal with this reality, diverse types of welfare policies are emerging in the society as a whole. The government began to supply domestic public silver housing in 2016 to provide against the quickly growing aged society and now, the government is planning to supply approximately 50,000 housing by 2022 for quantitative growth of aged society, by selecting 1st and 2nd designated areas for the project additionally. This public retirement(silver) housing combines 'space' with 'service'. The lower floors are a public silver welfare Facilities and the upper floors are a housing spaces. This type of housing is to deal with requirements of rental housing residents by combining physical space with supporting service. Based on barrier-free design, the complex and unit house have safety handles and alarm bells in the bathroom, undulating washstands, bathroom sliding doors, corridor safety handles, and emergency safety exit lamps in each housing unit so the aged and the disabled can use easily and conveniently. Also, hand rails are installed and stepped pulleys are removed to promote convenience. Currently, the government is planning to increase the supply, focusing on low-income groups, such as beneficiaries of national basic livelihood and the working poor. Recognizing that the public retirement(silver) housing project is at its early stage, this study examined satisfaction, based on evaluations of real residents. This study aimed to obtain more empirical research data and apply them to public retirement(silver) house space analysis. For analysis, this study targeted Wirye public retirement(silver) housing and Magnolia public retirement(silver) housing that are in operation, and literature review, previous research review, and field survey were conducted to examine the present state. Using the questionnaires consisting of four large classification items; Block Layout, Housing Unit, Welfare Facilities, and Barrier-free Design, and sub-details, a survey was conducted to analyze residents' satisfaction. In conclusion, it is anticipated that this study would serve as basic research data about public retirement(silver) housing to increase continuously in future by analyzing public retirement(silver) housing spaces, on the basis of the analyzed data.

  • The environment has played a key role to improve the living condition and develop the industry. In building industries, we should consider the environment and mitigate the environmental affect. For mitigating the its affect, various areas of building technology have been developed and applied into filed work. In addition, the process in applying into field requires to conduct the assessment of the environmental affect and improve its applied technology. A lot of assessment methods are proposed in evaluate the building condition such as post-occupancy evaluation, life cycle management and life cycle assessment. Among these assessment methods, life cycle assessment is effectively utilized the environmental affect in building life cycle. Therefore, this paper aimed at analyzing the energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission in building life cycle, using the life cycle assessment and application of the example in apartment housing. This study shows that the maintenance and the production of building materials stage shares most of the amount of energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission and therefore plays an important role to planning the building in terms of the life cycle. Second, the other stages brings about a very small amount. It is important to decide the building shape and contents to mitigate the environmental affect in terms of material, volume, the pattern of the energy use and others.

국토환경성평가 개선을 통한 경기도지역의 보전지역 구분에 관한 연구 (Study on the Classification of Gyeonggi-Do's Conservation Areas by Improvement of National Land Environmental Assessment)

  • Due to rapid and reckless economic development, natural resources of the national land have been damaged and polluted. Accordingly, the necessity for environment-friendly development has been on the rise and many have made efforts to assess the environmental value of the national land. This study divides the conservation areas by means of using relative elevation, slope, and development of housing land based on environmental evaluation of the national land. The relative elevation is obtained by the difference of altitude at the edge of the forest patch extracted from the land cover classification map based on the ridgeline, and the slope is obtained by environment-oriented land suitability analysis. The development of housing land is classified in accordance with the progress of each project. Twenty-six evaluation criteria are divided into five different grades using the minimal indicator approach and then sub-divided into ten grades by means of using the following two scenarios. The first one uses the weight of input materials while the second one relies on the size of patches that are emphasized in landscape ecology. Consequently, such a study demonstrated the following results. The method relying on the weight of input materials revealed the limitation of emphasizing input materials excessively, whereas the method of considering the size of patches resulted in the division of conservation areas that embody regional characteristics. This study is meaningful in that it classifies the conservation areas by reflecting the regional characteristics and the ecological values of animals and plants.

GIS를 이용한 도시주거환경의 평가 및 정비지구 유형화 (A GIS Approach towards the Evaluation of the Urban Residential Environment and to Zoning for Management)

  • 현재 우리나라 도시의 주거환경 정비에 있어서 구체적인 구역지정 기준이 없으며 체계적인 정비방식 지정이 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 GIS를 이용하여 도시내 주거환경의 수준을 체계?으로 평가하고 정비가 요구되는 지구의 유형화를 시도했다. 이를 위해 종로구 창신동 지역을 사례대상으로 3단계의 GIS분석이 이루어졌다. 즉 도시주거환경의 4대 질적 목표 --안정성, 건강성, 편리성, 쾌적성--를 중심으로 대상지의 환경적 수준을 평가하고, 분석결과 주거환경의 질이 불량하다고 나타난 지역에 대해서는 주택수준, 기반시설, 건물밀도 측면에 대한 세부분 분석을 실시했다. 그리고 그 결과 나타난 유형별 정비지구에 대해 적절한 정비사업방식을 지정했다. 이같은 노력은 주로 전문가의 직관이나 단편적 판단에 의존하던 기존의 방법을 보다 체계적이고도 합리적인 방법으로 전환하려는 것으로서 유사 도시개발정책의 수립에도 유용할 것이다.

노년 인구의 주거환경 평가도구에 관한 체계적 고찰 (Systematic Review of Assessment Tools for the Housing Environment of the Old Adults Population)

  • 목적 : 본 연구 목적은 노년 인구의 주거환경을 평가하기 위해 사용된 평가도구들을 체계적 고찰하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 자료수집은 2015년 1월부터 2023년 8월 31일까지 해외 데이터베이스 Cochranelibrary, Pubmed, Proquest를 검색하여 주제와 관련된 자료를 추출하였다. 주거환경 평가도구를 사용한 267편에서 원도구를 기준으로 최종 9개의 평가도구를 추출하였다. 분석은 최종 9개 평가도구의 사용 동향 및 빈도, 특성, 평가 범위, 타당도 및 신뢰도 여부 등을 체계적으로 분석하였다. 결과 : 총 9개 평가도구의 사용빈도는 HOME FAST, IPAQ-E가 각 20%로 많이 사용되었다. 원도구의 평가 목적은 친화성(AFCCQ, AFEAT, NEWS), 물리적 장벽(CHIEF, PENBOM), 낙상 예방(HOME FAST), 치매노인의 가정환경(HEAC), 신체활동에 관한 환경(IPAQ-E), 접근성(Walk Score®)으로 평가하고 있었다. 평가 범위는 고령친화도시(Age-Friendly Cities: AFC)의 8개 영역을 기준으로 AFCCQ, AFEAT, CHIEF는 8개 영역 모두를 평가하고 있었으며, 이외 NEWS (Full)는 3개, HOME FAST, IPAQ-E, Walk Score®는 2개 그리고 HEAC, NEWS (Abb), PENBOM는 1개 영역을 포함하고 있었다. 결론 : 노년기에 살던 곳에서 살고자 하는 계속 거주를 실현하기 위해 고려되는 주거환경을 평가할 때, 평가 목적과 범위의 적절성 그리고 논리적 타당성 여부를 판단할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하고 있음에 의의가 있다.

도시재생사업의 평가요인 선정 및 적용 (Selection and Application of Evaluation Factors for Urban Regeneration Project)

  • 본 연구는 도시재생사업을 평가하기 위한 지표 선정 및 개선방안을 제시하기 위해 연구를 진행하였다. 먼저 도시재생 관련 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사 및 분석을 수행하여 평가지표를 선정하였으며, 선정된 지표를 활용하여 도시재생사업이 시행 중인 원고개 마을의 주민의견을 수렴·분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 해당지역의 개선방안을 제시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 도시재생 평가지표를 그 특성에 따라 '물리적 환경', '사회적 환경', '경제적 환경' 부문으로 구분하고, 1차 전문가 설문 및 MCB 분석을 통해 도시재생 평가요인을 선정하였다. 그 결과, '물리적 환경' 부문은 '교통 및 보행환경', '주거(주택) 환경', '안전 및 보안환경', '녹지 공간', '경관 개선', '공공 공간' 등 6개 요인이 선정되었으며, '사회적 환경' 부문은 '주민 참여', '공동체 활성화', '지자체 및 지원센터 역할', '주민 교육' 등 4개의 요인, '경제적 환경'부문은 '지역경제 활성화', '경제기반 환경조성', '일자리 창출' 등 3개의 평가요인이 선정되었다. 다음으로 선정된 평가요인을 2차 전문가 설문 및 AHP 분석을 수행하여 종합가중치를 도출하였다. 도시재생 평가요인 가운데 '주거(주택) 환경'이 0.108로 가장 높은 가중치 값을 가지며, 다음으로 '지역경제 활성화', '주민참여' 가 높은 값을 가지는 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 도시재생 평가요인을 활용하여 원고개 마을의 주민의식을 분석한 결과, '주차환경', '노후주택 및 생활환경 정비', '마을 및 사회적 기업을 조성할 수 있는 환경조성', '상가 및 업무환경 개선', '기존 상권 유지 및 활성화', '가내수공업, 부업 등 소규모 지역경제 활성화' 등이 종합중요도는 높지만 만족도는 낮아 중점 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 원고개 마을의 도시재생사업을 개선하기 위해선 공가 및 폐가, 유휴지 등을 활용하여 공용주차장을 조성하거나, 마을 내 위치한 학교운동장을 주민들에게 개방하는 등의 주차환경 개선이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 또한 협동조합과 연계하여 마을기업, 사회적 기업을 육성하고, 주민활동을 통해 생산된 제품을 주변시장에 판매하는 등의 경제적 활동을 장려시켜야 할 것으로 사료된다.

울산시 서부생활권 내 주거지구의 도시적요소에 대한 비교 (Urban Factors of Residential Area in the “Western Region of Ulsan City” -Focused on the Mugeo, Daun, Gulhwa, Guyoung, and Cheonsang districts-)

  • The aims of this study was to provide information of sites to potential buyers and apartment builders through a comparative investigation on the urban criteria in 5 disDicts of Usan city Mugeo, Daun, Guhwa, Guyoung, and Cheonsang. The content analysis method was used to determine the urban factors which reviewed the urban and environment plan legal system and contents of plans which analyzed the housing characteristics in Ulsan city. Also utilized were professional's opinion and various emphasized elements such as the location of apartments through newspaper advertisement from 1990 to 1999. The urban evaluation factors used in this study were degree of air and noise pollulion, traffic facilities, land use, living environment and economics. Major findings are as follows: Mugeo area has the most convenience community facilities, Guyoung and Cheonsang areas have excellent natural environment-air and noise pollution.
