종합병원 선택요인에 대한 내.외부고객의 중요도 - 성과도 분석 (IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) of Hospital Choice in Internal and External Customers)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) of the hospital choice factor between internal and external customers at S general hospital. This study was used 5 types of choice factors such as physical, interpersonal, accessibility, connection, and image. This study was used Importance Performance Analysis which can be applied to identify the strengths and weaknesses attributes from hospital customers' viewpoint. The sample was selected 116 patients and 97 internal employees for S hospital in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires from April 1 to 29 in 2012 and analyzed by paired t-test, scatter plot graph. The result of the study was that the perceptional gaps between internal and external consumers were existed in physical, connection and image factors, except interpersonal, accessibility. The "Keep up the good work" quadrant was interpersonal factor, and the "Low Priority" quadrant was accessibility. The findings of this study will be applied to make hospital strategic decision making and to improve marketing service quality in administrative department of hospital.

병원간호사의 병원정보시스템 활용정도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Utilization of Clinical Nurses' Hospital Information System)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the factors affecting utilization of clinical nurses' hospital information system. Method: Using a convenient sampling, 450 nurses from 9 secondary or tertiary university hospitals in B metropolitan city were selected. Results: The extent that nurses utilize the hospital information system was 3.22 point on average. The hospital information system utilization was positively correlated with personal information utilization skill, information-oriented education, attitude toward computer, and support of the chief manager, while as negatively correlated with the organizational atmosphere. The causal factors of influencing on the hospital information system utilization were personal information technology, education experience of the hospital information system, age, attitude toward computers, education level and support of the chief manager. The total eigenvalue of the variables was 38%. The major variables of influencing on the hospital information system utilization were the personal information technology and education experience of the hospital information system. Conclusions: Thus, nurse managers should provide training courses to improve personal information technology of nurses, and consistently promote them so that nurses can readily apply the hospital information system which have been recently introduced in various ways and thus improve the efficiency of nursing.

일 병원 간호사의 임파워먼트, 업무성과 및 직무만족의 관계 (Empowerment, Performance and Job Satisfaction Perceived by Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent of empowerment, task performance and job satisfaction perceived by hospital nurses and the relationship among those variables. Methods: The sample consisted of 261 nurses from a university affiliated hospital. Data were collected with self-administrated questionnaires including empowerment, performance and job satisfaction and analyzed using mean, standard deviation, ANOVA and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test. Results: The mean scores of variables were as follows. Empowerment was 4.6472, task performance was 3.7814, and job satisfaction was 3.1240. The older, more educated and more experienced nurses showed more empowered and higher job performed than the younger, less educated and less experienced nurses. Empowerment had a positive correlation with task performance and job satisfaction. Conclusions: The results imply that hospital should develop the empowerment program for nurses to be more job performed and satisfied.

투약.수혈 바코드 시스템 적용 평가 (Evaluation of the Bar Code Medication Administration and Blood Transfusion System in a Tertiary Hospital)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the clinical application of a bar code medication administration and blood transfusion system and to identify its effects from the aspect of patient safety and nurse satisfaction in a tertiary hospital. Methods: The system in this study was PDA with bar code reading capability and wireless networking function. The logs created during application of the system and administration error reports were analyzed. For nurses' satisfaction with the system, data were collected from 337 nurses using the instrument developed by Otieno et al. and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The system application rate was 98.8%, and the main failure cases in the system application included bar code or network related factors. When the system was applied, 0.02% of errors were prevented. The nurses were satisfied with the system from the aspect of patient safety, however relatively less satisfied with the system from the aspect of work efficiency. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate the usefulness for patient safety of applying the bar code medication administration and blood transfusion system to clinical practice. However technological improvements including bar code and network communication are necessary to ensure higher work efficiency in nursing practice.

간호사의 조직 몰입에 관한 일 연구 (A study on the Clinical nurses' Organizational)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study investigated the relationship between nurses' organizational commitment and their demographic characteristics. Method : The sample for this study consisted 356 nurses from 6 hospital at Seoul and Kyung Gi province, in Korea The Organizational Commitment Questionnaire developed by Mowday was used. The Pearson correlation coefficient, Tukey's Studentized Range Test were used for the statistical analysis by SAS program. Result : The Study was found that 1) The mean of nurses' Organizational Commitment was 3.01. 2) The Organizational Commitment was positive correlation with age, career and position of the whole nurses, but it was different from each hospital. 3) There was significant positive correlations among nurses' age, career, position and organizational commitment of nurses. 4) But the correlations between nurses' organizational commitment and religion, marrital status, nurses' age, career, position were different from each hospital. Conclusion : Therefore before each hospital want to improve it's own nurses' organizational commitment, hospital managers have to find factors which influence to the nurses' organizational commitment directly, indirectly.

병원간호사가 지각하는 조직건강과 환자안전문화가 환자안전간호활동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Hospital Nurses' Perceptions of Organizational Health and Patient Safety Culture on Patient Safety Nursing Activities)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of organizational health and patient safety culture on nursing activities for patient safety as perceived by hospital nurses. Methods: A self-report survey was administered to staff nurses of one advanced general hospital and two general hospitals in South Korea. Of the questionnaires, 188 were analyzed. Results: Organizational health had a significantly positive correlation with patient safety culture (r=.52, p<.001) and patient safety nursing activities (r=.31, p<.001). Conclusion: The findings in this study indicate that among the factors influencing patient safety nursing activities, organizational factors were more important than individual factors, and organizational health had a big effect on patient safety nursing activities.

간호서비스 질, 만족 및 병원 재이용 의도에 관한 소비자와 제공자간의 지각차이 비교 (A Comparative Study of Consumers and Providers on Nursing Service Quality, Satisfaction, and Hospital Revisiting Intent)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to compare the nursing service quality, gap, overall nursing service satisfaction, overall medical service satisfaction and intent to revisit the hospital perceived by consumers and providers. Methods: Data were collected with self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, %, mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Result: Nursing service gap perceived by consumers was smaller than that of providers. Consumer's overall satisfaction with nursing and medical service was higher than that of nurses. In consumers, nursing service satisfaction alone accounted for 62.9% of the variance in their intent to revisit the hospital, while explained 3% of the variance in providers. Conclusion: There are definitely perception gap between consumers and providers. Therefore nursing and hospital managers must recognize it, and carry out the internal marketing strategies for nurses.

병원 근로자의 조직신뢰에 영향을 미치는 조직신뢰 결정요인에 관한 연구 (The Study of Determinants of Hospital Organization Trust Leading to Trust in Hospital Worker's Organization Trust)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate of determinants of hospital organization trust affecting to hospital worker's trust in organization. This study was measured levels of trust in organization of hospital workers and 5 determinants of organization trust, organizational fairness, consideration, morality, competence and responsibility toward a society. Levels of trust in organization of hospital workers and determinants of organization trust were assessed using a sample of 190 employees who work at 2 hospitals in Seoul, Kyunggi. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires from november 22 to 29 in 2012 and analyzed SPSS 18 by using t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that organizational fairness, consideration and responsibility toward a society among 5 determinants were positively related to levels of trust in organization of hospital workers. Based on these findings, it can be defined that 5 determinants of hospital organization trust influences levels of trust in organization of hospital workers. The implications of this study are discussed and areas for future research are presented.

포괄간호서비스 병동과 일반병동 입원 환자의 간호만족도와 병원재이용의도 영향요인 비교 (Comparing Satisfaction with Nursing Care and Factors Relevant to Hospital Revisit Intent among Hospitalized Patients in Comprehensive Nursing Care Units and General Care Units)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare hospitalized patients in comprehensive nursing care units and general care units as to satisfaction with nursing care and factors influencing their intent to revisit the hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 178 patients who had been hospitalized in a comprehensive nursing care unit and a general care unit in one hospital. Participants completed self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Results: There was a significant difference between the comprehensive nursing care unit and general care unit for intent to revisit the hospital (p=.036). Factors influencing intent to revisit the hospital for patients in the comprehensive nursing care unit were 'satisfaction with nursing care' (p<.001) and 'use of additional costs for comprehensive nursing care' (p=.041). The factor influencing intent to revisit hospital for patients in the general care unit was 'satisfaction with nursing care' (p<.001). Conclusion: Findings indicate that comprehensive nursing care service in which all care is provided by nursing staff only, without family or private caregivers, increases intent to revisit the hospital. These results can be used as the foundation of reviewing the operation and expansion of comprehensive nursing care service.

병원행정직의 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도가 감성지능에 미치는 융복합적 영향 (Convergence Influence of Ego-resiliency, Organizational Loyalty and Organizational Commitment on Emotional Intelligence among Hospital Administrative Staffs)

  • 병원행정직의 자아탄력성, 조직충성도, 조직헌신도 및 감성지능 간의 관련성과 이러한 요인들이 감성지능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 병원행정직에서 이들 요인들과 감성지능 간의 관련성을 조사하고, 감성지능에 미치는 융복합적 영향을 파악해 보았다. 조사대상자는 J지역에서 무작위 선정한 19개 병원의 행정직 212명을 임의 추출하였다. 자료수집은 2019년 5월 1일부터 31일까지의 1달여 기간 동안에 실시되었다. 설문지의 형식은 구조화된 무기명 자기기입식을 사용하였다. 감성지능은 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도와 정(+)의 상관관계가 있었다. 공분산구조분석 결과, 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도가 높아질수록 감성지능을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과, 병원행정직의 감성지능을 높이기 위해서는 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도를 제고하는 노력이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 조사결과는 병원행정직의 감성지능을 상향시키는 병원직무관리 및 산업보건교육의 기초자료로 활용이 기대된다. 향후연구에서는 병원행정직의 감성지능과 관련된 추가요인과 다양한 감정적인 요인들의 분석이 필요하다고 본다.
