Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used. Sixty-nine dyads of mothers and infant-toddlers (aged 0-36 months) were provided with weekly intervention for seven session. Each session consisted of three parts; first, educating to increase integrated knowledge related to the development of the infant/toddler including nutrition, first aid and home environment; second, counseling to share parenting experience among the mothers and to increase their nurturing confidence; third, playing with the infant/toddler to facilitate attachment-based parenting behavior for the mothers. Results: Following the programs, there were significant increases in parenting knowledge on nutrition and first aid. A significant improvement was found in attachment-based parenting behavior, but not in home safety practice. Nurturing confidence was not significantly increased. The program led to more positive home environment for infant/toddler's health and development. Recently, IoT can provide a service considering user's convenience by configuring the inside of the home as a smart environment. However, the existing system can not change the configuration of the home smart environment by the user, and there is a problem in compatibility between the server and the heterogeneous device. In this paper, we propose a system to reconfigure the relationship between the device and the server in the smart home environment to solve that. In a smart home environment, The user can add and delete devices through the application. In addition, when a new device is added, the server searches the schema for the device and establishes an automatic relationship. This makes it possible for the user to easily change the configuration of the smart home environment.

The purpose of this study was to examine the features that make residents feel “at home” in ALFs in Southwest Virginia and to suggest further policy and design guidelines for better Quality of ALFs as a “home.” For this purpose, residents' needs, experiences, and opinions of the physical environment, the social environment, and the organizational environments such as policies and programs of ALFs were identified. As a multi-case study, five ALFs in Southwest Virginia were studied using constant comparative methos of data analysis. In addition to face-to-face interviews with 25 residents and five administrators of five ALFs, observations were conducted with personal journal. Overall, the five sites selected presented homelike features showing the philosophy of assisted living which combines housing and services. Each facility was designed to be a single-family house or multi-family dwelling in outside appearance. As a whole, residents felt isolation and loneliness and they did not have active interaction with other residents because of diverse background among the residents. However, all of them had close relationships with the staff. The staff's attitude and behavior seemed to influence greatly the residents' feeling “at home.” Despite the provision of diverse activities by the facilities, many residents did not participate in the programs. Most of the residents agreed that the rule and regulations were fair. In spite of high satisfaction with the facility, many people did not think of their current dwelling as a real ‘home.’ As the biggest difference between living in their own homes and living in the ALF, people pointed out a lack of independence, freedom, and autonomy. Residents of ALFs may have reordered their priorities in their current life situation so that safety, security, and care were more important to them than feeling “at home.” Among the three factors --physical, social, and organizational-- that affect the residents' perception of ALFs as a “home, ” many emphasized the importance of social factors such as relationships with the staff and residents, and social support from their family or friends.
As the Internet of Thing(IoT) technology recently has become a big issue, many researches have been carried out to link the Internet of things with the home network system. Various home network systems are being implemented to connect many devices used in the home with the Internet and to control and operate the devices using a smart phone. However, existing protocols that operate on the Internet are not suitable for a limited environment such as low power, low capacity, and low performance. Therefore, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Working Group proposed the CoAP/6LoWPAN technology as a suitable protocol for internetworking IoT devices with the Internet in a limited environment and adopting it as a standard. In this paper, a smart home network system is implemented to control and operate various IoT devices in a home using CoAP/6LoWPAN in mobile environment. The performance of HTTP and CoAP such as data transmission time, data transmission rate is analyzed.

In this research, researcher will examined the theoretical background of open education. Based on the result of the development of the suggested guidelines for a home economics teaching/learning program, researcher concludes that in order for the teaching/learning programs based on open education to be efficiently acieved in the classroom environment-organization at the middle school the following reform measures must accompany these programs. First, in order for the special characteristics of open education, i.e., individualized and small group study, to be effectively achieved, it is necessary to improve the physical classroom environment-organization. Second, the two class hours per week currently allotted for home economics are not sufficient to convey the information in the textbook. In order to reach objectives of teaching home economics according to open education a guarantee of a few more class hours is demanded. Third, in order to successfully achieve teaching/learning programs following open education, it is necessary for home economics teachers to make efforts to develop educational materials, and to engage in ongoing research and inservice training. For this to occur, measures must be taken to reduce the workload of teachers.
