  • An echo signal in the active sonar using a high frequency is mainly formed of a specular reflection from the surface of an object along with several equivalent scatter inside, which are characterized by the spatial distribution of the highlights on the object. This thesis proposed a model in which the synthesized echo signal can be expressed as a distributed simulated target. The proposed model is obtained after composing a signal based on the movement of highlights relative to the aspect angle from the discontinuous point of an external hull with a strong reflection from a spheroid underwater target. Because the proposed algorithm includes a synthesis of the signals related to the highlight spacial distribution, it can be applied to all kinds of systems used at a short range, and similar results were obtained to the actual measured results of all reflected signals in previous literature referring to the irregular factor application of an envelope.

  • In this paper, we have proposed a novel method which can compose a reflected signal of the underwater target. The synthesis of the reflected signal in the target, the synthesized signal being similar to the characteristics of the reflected signal in the real target, is used the highlight model at the specific points of the target. We suggest the synthesis method of the reflected signal of the target using the pulsewidth variation and each other doppler effect at the highlight point, and compare the composed signal by the proposed method with that by conventional one. Simulation results show that the composed signal using the proposed method and the reflected signal of the real target is similar to the spectral characteristics.

  • In this paper, we firstly introduce the class of C*-algebra valued symmetric spaces and utilize the same to prove our fixed point results. We furnish an example to highlight the utility of our main result. Finally, we apply our result to examine the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a system of Fredholm integral equations.

  • The perceived performance of food management and the food utilization status of school food service managers in nine sectors of management in the Kyunggido area were evaluated[ED highlight - please ensure this is correct]. The results of this study revealed that 84.5% of the service managers used domestic food and $20{\sim}40%$ used organic food, with an average of 80% using one of these types of foods. In addition, the average use of pre-handling food varied widely when compared to other food items[ED highlight - very confusing, please ensure my changes do not alter your intended meaning] Additionally, most respondents used frozen food (72.0%), processed food (83.9%), and substitute food (53.4%), for the average of 20%,[ED highlight - I cannot infer your intended meaning here, what is an average of 20%? Please clarify]; however, 40.6% did not use any food substitutes. The most common reason given for using pre-handled[ED highlight - do you mean pre-packaged or pre-prepared? Please clarify] food was to save time (32.2%), whereas frozen foods were most often used to help with menu organization (37.5%). Additionally, the respondents most common reason for using processed food was its high acceptability (47.8%), while substitute foods were most often used due to non suitable foods beingreturned (75.3%). Among the varieties of food that were used, those that are easily obtained and cooked were used the most. Furthermore, the mean score for the perceived performance of food sanitary management was $4.51{\pm}0.425$ (based on the 5-point Likert scale). Finally, it was generally believed that the overall food management well executed, but that more active management of unsatisfactory food suppliers is required[ED highlight - please ensure my changes do not alter your intended meaning].

  • Object color can be determined by the characteristic of scene illuminant and surface. In this paper, perceived illumination effect is extended and with the highlight analysis, hybrid approach is proposed to estimate the illuminant chromaticity. The perceived illumination approach provides a stable candidate range for the estimation of illuminant chromaticity, however, the accuracy is slightly degraded depending on the image contents. The highlight approach does not depend on the image contents and provides an accurate solution of the scene illuminant chromaticity, however, it is difficult to determine the final solution among many cross-points. These two approaches are in effect mutually compensating. The solution from perceived illumination can be used as a starting point or as base information for the highlight approach to get the final solution.

  • In this study, a class of nonlinear boundary fractional Caputo Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations (CV-FIDEs) is taken into account. Under specific assumptions about the available data, we firstly demonstrate the existence and uniqueness features of the solution. The Gronwall's inequality, a adequate singular Hölder's inequality, and the fixed point theorem using an a priori estimate procedure. Finally, a case study is provided to highlight the findings.

  • In this paper, an algorithm for estimating the scene-illuminant color directly from an image is proposed. To determine the scene-illuminant color in the image. the intersection point between the light locus of camera (CCD) reponses and an approximated lines for the cluster of pixels in a highlight area on chromaticity coordinates is used. By using the predetermined characteristics of the used camera for some illuminants, this algorithm allows us to obtain more accurate estimation of the scene-illuminatnt color from a captured image than that the previous methods provide.

  • A metrical common fixed point theorem proved for a pair of self mappings due to Sastry and Murthy ([16]) is extended to symmetric spaces which in turn unifies certain fixed point theorems due to Pant ([13]) and Cho et al. ([4]) besides deriving some related results. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are also furnished.
