E. coli 불활성화와 산화제 생성에 미치는 소독 공정 결합의 영향 (Effect of Disinfection Process Combination on E. coli Deactivation and Oxidants Generation)

  • The aim of this research was to evaluate the effect of combination of disinfection process (electrolysis, UV process) on Escherichia coli (E. coli) disinfection and oxidants (OH radical, $ClO_2$, HOCl, $H_2O_2$ and $O_3$) generation. The effect of electrolyte type (NaCl, KCl and $Na_2SO_4$) on the E. coli disinfection and oxidants generation were evaluated. The experimental results showed that performance of E. coli disinfection of electrolysis and UV single process was similar. Combination of electrolysis and UV process enhanced the E. coli disinfection and 4-carboxybenzaldehyde (4-CBA, indicator of the generation of OH radical) degradation. It is clearly showed synergy effect on disinfection and OH radical formation. However chlorine ($ClO_2$, HOCl) and oxygen type ($H_2O_2$, $O_3$) oxidants were decreased with the combination of two process. In electrolysis + UV complex process, electro-generated $H_2O_2$ and $O_3$ were reacted with UV light of UV-C lamp and increased 4-CBA degradation(increase OH radical). Disinfection of electrolyte of chlorine type was higher than that of the sulfate type electrolyte due to the higher generation of OH radical and oxidants.

Multiscale Adaptive Local Directional Texture Pattern for Facial Expression Recognition

  • This work presents a novel facial descriptor, which is named as multiscale adaptive local directional texture pattern (MALDTP) and employed for expression recognition. We apply an adaptive threshold value to encode facial image in different scales, and concatenate a series of histograms based on the MALDTP to generate facial descriptor in term of Gabor filters. In addition, some dedicated experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of the MALDTP method in a person-independent way. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method achieves higher recognition rate than local directional texture pattern (LDTP). Moreover, the MALDTP method has lower computational complexity, fewer storage space and higher classification accuracy than local Gabor binary pattern histogram sequence (LGBPHS) method. In a nutshell, the proposed MALDTP method can not only avoid choosing the threshold by experience but also contain much more structural and contrast information of facial image than LDTP.

공연예술 수요개발 촉진을 위한 포지셔닝(Positioning) 전략 제안 (The Study For a New Positioning Strategy For the Performance Arts)

  • 본 연구에서는 공연예술 수요 촉진을 목적으로 "공연예술재화의 소비 혜택과 가치에 대한 새로운 포지셔닝 전략"을 제안한다. 공연예술 소비를 통해 경험하고 즐기고 싶은 "향수(享受)욕구(Wants)"에 집중하는 기존 포지셔닝과 달리 새로운 포지셔닝은 "잠재 소비자들의 최대 공통 관심사인 건강문제 및 자녀교육과 관련된 실용적 욕구(Utilitarian/Should need)"충족에 초점을 맞춘다. 사치재와 기호품으로 여겨진 공연예술 재화에 대해 잠재 소비자들은 이미 실용적 욕구충족을 기대하고 있으며 기존 연구를 통해 공연예술 관람의"교육 및 치료 효과"가 있음이 밝혀졌기에 실용적 가치에 대한 포지셔닝 전략의 성공 가능성은 높다. 또한 사치재의 성격이 강한 공연예술은 낭비 인식과 죄책감으로 소비회피의 가능성이 높지만 실용적 욕구를 만족시키는"실용적 가치의 포지셔닝"은 낭비인식과 죄책감을 줄여주며 소비의 정당화가 용이하다는 소비 정당성 측면에서도 "향수적 가치의 포지셔닝" 대비 우월한 수요개발 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 새로운 포지셔닝 전략은 교육, 가격장벽 완화, 문화복지 실현과 같은 기존 수요개발 전략의 고유효과를 유지하면서 수요개발 효과 측면의 한계점을 개선하는 보완전략으로 본 전략의 성공을 위해서는 공연예술 마케팅 정책 관련자들의 공연예술 재화의 소비가치에 대한 관점의 혁신적 변화와 함께 과감한 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 투자가 필요하다.

해기교육대학 학생의 학교풍토의삭과 성패귀인 및 학교생활의 관계에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship between School Climate, Sucess-Fail Attribution and Campus Life in Maritime College Students)

  • It is one of the important study for improving education quality to investigate School climate, Campus Life and Academic Achievement in University. This study focuses on the of success / failure attribution in academic achievement and its internal-external attribution of Maritime college students. The main purpose of this study was investigate the relationship between the perception of college climate and attribution of success and failure about college life and cadet's academic performance. The subjects were 490 cadets of freshman, sophomore and junior of Korea Maritime University. The data was analysed by Pearson's correlation, one-way and simple factorial ANOV A, $x^2$, and t-test by using SPSSWIN Ver. 7.5 programme. The major results of this study were as follows : 1. Social relationship orientation was higher than the others on the perception of college climate, while the relationship between professor and collegian was lower. 2. The most collegian recognized on the attribution of failure about the college life and the relationship between professor and collegian. But most collegian recognized on the attribution of sucess about collegian's relationship. 3. The perception of college climate and attribution of success / failure was not influenced on the student's academic performance and academic adaptability.

Study of military CPR quality and education by feedback device and debriefing

  • In this paper, we propose the effects of military cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) on the quality of debriefing and feedback device training. The key idea of combination debriefing and feedback device training is to maximize effects of CPR. The participants of the research were non-medic soldiers in ROK army, and had not undergone any professional CPR training before. Each group of soldier was randomized to perform of military CPR by using training method in each group. After 5 minutes of performing CPR, each D, F, DF group showed significant improvement in CPR performance. When comparing each group, the rate of success in CPR performance in DF group was significantly higher than that of F group with the average difference of 11.160(p<.01) points. In summation, the training programs that DF received seemed to be more efficient and effective than that of D and F. The fatigue level was evaluated by comparing the lactate concentration in blood after performing CPR. Through this experiment, we show that the training programs that DF received is more efficient and effective than that of D and F.

Incomplete Cholesky Decomposition based Kernel Cross Modal Factor Analysis for Audiovisual Continuous Dimensional Emotion Recognition

  • Recently, continuous dimensional emotion recognition from audiovisual clues has attracted increasing attention in both theory and in practice. The large amount of data involved in the recognition processing decreases the efficiency of most bimodal information fusion algorithms. A novel algorithm, namely the incomplete Cholesky decomposition based kernel cross factor analysis (ICDKCFA), is presented and employed for continuous dimensional audiovisual emotion recognition, in this paper. After the ICDKCFA feature transformation, two basic fusion strategies, namely feature-level fusion and decision-level fusion, are explored to combine the transformed visual and audio features for emotion recognition. Finally, extensive experiments are conducted to evaluate the ICDKCFA approach on the AVEC 2016 Multimodal Affect Recognition Sub-Challenge dataset. The experimental results show that the ICDKCFA method has a higher speed than the original kernel cross factor analysis with the comparable performance. Moreover, the ICDKCFA method achieves a better performance than other common information fusion methods, such as the Canonical correlation analysis, kernel canonical correlation analysis and cross-modal factor analysis based fusion methods.

초임유아교사의 스트레스 대처방식이 역할수행에 미치는 영향에 대한 셀프리더십의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Self Leadership on the Relationship between Stress Coping Strategies and Beginning Early Childhood Teachers' Role Performance)

  • 본 연구는 초임유아교사의 스트레스 대처방식, 역할수행, 셀프리더십의 관계를 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 전국의 유치원 및 어린이집에 재직 중인 491명의 초임교사를 대상으로 설문지를 통한 조사를 실시하였고, 스트레스 대처전략 질문지(박창순, 2005), 역할수행 질문지(박복매, 2011)와 셀프리더십 질문지(박동현, 2014)를 사용하였다. 결과 처리를 위해 빈도분석, 신뢰도 검증, Pearson의 적률상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 초임유아교사의 스트레스 대처방식 중 소극적인 대처방식은 역할수행에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타난 반면, 적극적 대처방식은 역할수행에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 초임유아교사의 적극적 대처방식은 셀프리더십을 통해서도 역할수행에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 초임유아교사의 셀프리더십이 높을수록 교사가 경험하는 역할수행이 높아지는 결과가 나타났다. 이러한 경로는 셀프리더십이 초임유아교사의 역할수행에 대한 적극적 대처방식과 역할수행 간에 부분 매개역할을 하고 있음을 보여주는 결과이다. 본 연구결과를 통해 예비유아교사를 대상으로 한 교육과정 내에 셀프리더십 증진내용과 스트레스에 대처하는 능동적인 태도를 형성할 수 있는 교과내용을 구성하는데 기초정보를 제공할 수 있다.

벤처 창업팀의 다양성이 창업 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of the Entrepreneurial Team's Diversity on Business Performance of New Venture)

  • 지금까지 창업 성과에 관한 연구는 주로 창업자의 특성, 역량, 전략이 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구들이 주를 이루고 있었다. 그러나 과학기술의 발달과 경영환경의 복잡성은 개인에 의한 창업보다 창업팀에 의한 창업을 활성화시키고 있다. 이에 따라 창업팀 특성이 창업 초기 기업에 미치는 영향에 대한 이론적이고 실제적인 연구의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구는 벤처 창업팀의 다양성이 창업 성과에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 연구 모형을 검증하기 위해 전국 17개 지역, 18개 창조경제혁신센터 사업에 참여한 적이 있는 벤처 창업 기업 중 287명의 대표가 응답한 설문을 바탕으로 회귀분석을 통해 가설을 검정하였다. 분석 결과, 인구통계적 다양성에서는 성별 다양성만 비재무적 성과에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 정보 다양성은 경력 다양성이 재무적 성과에, 교육수준 다양성이 비재무적 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 이전 공유경험이 높을수록 재무적 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 가치 다양성은 재무적, 비재무적 성과 모두에 부정적인 효과를 미쳤다. 이상의 연구 결과를 기반으로 연구의 시사점과 향후 연구 과제 등을 제시하였다.

직접분사식 디젤기관에서 함산소성분(Butyl Ether) 및 EGR의 적용 (The Application of Oxygenated Component(Butyl Ether) and EGR in a DI Diesel Engine)

  • This research investigated variations of the engine performance and the exhaust emission characteristic of a direct injection diesel engine by fueling a commercial diesel fuel, which was blended with the di-ether group (butyl-ether: BE). The smoke emission reduced to 26% from the diesel engine with the blending fuel (diesel fuel 80 vol-% + BE 20 vol-%)at the full engine load of 2500 rpm compared to it with the diesel fuel only. The power, torque and brake specific energy consumption of the diesel engine showed very slight differences. The NOx emission from the diesel engine, however, with the blended fuel was higher than with the commercial diesel fuel only. By applying EGR method, as a counter plan of the NOx reduction, this research obtained reductions of the smoke and NOx emission at the same time from the diesel engine with the BE blended diesel fuel.

Influence of Iranian low-reactivity GGBFS on the properties of mortars and concretes by Taguchi method

  • Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) is widely used as an effective partial cement replacement material. GGBFS inclusion has already been proven to improve several performance characteristics of concrete. GGBFS provides enhanced durability, including high resistance to chloride penetration and protection against alkali silica reaction. In this paper results of an experimental research work on influence of low-reactivity GGBFS (which is largely available in Iran) on the properties of mortars and concretes are reported. In the first stage, influence of GGBFS replacement level and fineness on the compressive strength of mortars was investigated using Taguchi method. The analysis of mean (ANOM) statistical approach was also adopted to develop the optimal conditions. Next, based on the obtained results, concrete mixtures were designed and water penetration, capillary absorption, surface resistivity, and compressive strength tests were carried out on highstrength concrete specimens at different ages up to 90 days. The results indicated that 7-day compressive strength is adversely affected by GGBFS inclusion, while the negative effect is less evident at later ages. Also, it was inferred that use of low-reactivity GGBFS (at moderate levels such as 20% and 30%) can enhance the impermeability of high-strength concrete since 28 days age.
