RAND 방법으로 합의한 임상진료지침의 정의와 질 평가 기준 (Consensus on definition and quality standard of clinical practice guideline using RAND method)

  • Background : Clinical practice guidelines are an increasingly familiar part of clinical practice. Moreover, rigorously developed evidence based guidelines has been widely used. However, in Korea, some of published documents as clinical practice guidelines have shown considerable disparity in structure, contents and quality. This is mainly because there is no consensus on the definition and quality standard of clinical practice guidelines. The purpose of this study was to draw consensus on the definition and the quality standard about clinical practice guidelines. Method : We developed a questionnaire about the definition of clinical practice guidelines with inclusion criteria(23 items) and the quality standard(30 items). We selected 9 experts who had prior experience in developing and implementing guidelines. Rating methods for appropriateness of items were adopted from the RAND method. Consensus was drawn in three rounds. Results : Of the 47 items agreed, 40 items were determined to be appropriate. Clinical practice guidelines were defined as "scientifically and systematically developed statements to assist practitioners and patients on making decisions about appropriate health care for specific clinical circumstances." Narrative reviews, systematic reviews or health technology assessment without recommendations, translation of foreign guidelines, guidelines for patients only and training manuals were not considered as clinical practice guidelines. For the quality standard of clinical practice guidelines, 27 items were deemed necessary. Conclusions : The consensus on the definition with inclusion criteria and the quality standard of clinical practice guidelines carries an important meaning as the first attempt to draw a general agreement in our society. The unique achievement of the consensus reflects the current status of clinical practice guidelines that there has been a high tendency to adapt foreign guidelines. We hope efforts of this kind will continue to bring improvement in clinical practice guidelines.

차세대 스마트도시 시설물의 플랫폼 정의와 디지털 체인 (Next Generation Smart-City Facility Platform and Digital Chain)

  • With increasing interest and research on smart cities, there is also an increasing number of studies on urban facilities that can be built within smart cities. According to these studies, smart cities' urban facilities are likely to become high value-added industries. However, the concept of smart city is not clear because it involves various fields. Therefore, in this study, the definition of Next-Generation(N.G) Smart City Facilities with Digital Twin and Digital Chain is carried out through a multidisciplinary approach. Based on this, Next-Generation Smart City Facilities will be divided into High Value-Added Products and Big Data Platforms. Subsequently, the definition of the Digital Chain containing the data flow of the entire process built through the construction of the Digital Twin proceeds. The definitions derived are applied to the Next-Generation Noise Barrier Tunnel to ensure that data is exchanged at the Digital Twin stage, and to review the proposed configuration of the Digital Chain and Data Flow in this study. The platform definition and Digital Chain of Next-Generation Smart City Facilities proposed in this study suggest that it can affect not only the aspects of data management that are currently in the spotlight, but also the manufacturing industry as a whole.

Fully Cu-based Gate and Source/Drain Interconnections for Ultrahigh-Definition LCDs

  • Low resistivity interconnection and high-mobility channel are required to realize ultrahigh-definition LCDs such as 4k ${\times}$ 2k TVs. We evaluated fully Cu-based gate and Source/Drain interconnections, consisting of stacked pure-Cu/Cu-Mn layers for TFT-LCDs, and found the underlying Cu-Mn alloy film has superior adhesion to glass substrates and CVD-SiOx films. It was also confirmed that wet etching of the Cu/Cu-Mn films without residues and low contact resistance with both channel IGZO and pixel ITO films can be obtained. It is thus considered that the stacked Cu/Cu-Mn structure is one of candidates to replacing conventionally pure-Cu/refractory metal.

영상콘텐츠의 표현밀도에 따른 감정의 변화 (Changes in the Emotion by the Expressive Definition of Visual Contents)

  • 본 연구에서는 영상 콘텐츠의 표현밀도를 화면의 해상도와 피사체와의 거리감으로 정의하고, 표현밀도가 보는 이에게 미치는 감정의 변화를 살펴보고자 하였다. 부산지역 대학교에 재학 중인 학생 61명에게 HDTV방송화면에서 캡처한 영상이미지를 제시하고, 즐거움, 흥분, 통제 3가지 차원의 감정측정을 위해 SAM평가를 실시하였다. 서로 다른 해상도에 대한 비교결과 저해상도보다 고해상도의 콘텐츠 이미지를 볼 때 즐거운, 흥분되는, 통제되지 않는 방향으로 나타났다. 또한 해상도가 연속해서 동일할 때보다 변화가 있을 때 감정 변화 폭이 크게 나타났는데, 고해상도를 보다가 저해상도 이미지를 볼 때 감정이 유쾌하지 않은, 차분해지는 경향을 볼 수 있었다. 그러나 통제 감정에 대해서는 유의미한 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 피사체와의 거리감에 대해 근거리, 중거리, 원거리를 사후다중비교 결과 근거리의 경우 다른 경우들 보다 즐거운, 흥분되는, 통제되지 않는 감정의 값이 더 높아졌다. 다변량 검증결과 해상도와 거리감에 대한 즐거움과 흥분 감정차원은 정의 상관관계를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

저가의 HDTV를 위한 영상출력 모듈의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Image Display Module for Low-cost High Definition Television)

  • 본 논문은 재료비의 절감을 위하여 저성능의 프로세서를 사용할 수 있도록 영상출력에 할당되는 프로세서 코어성능을 최대한 줄이고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문은 저성능의 프로세서가 탑재된 전자앨범 기능의 모듈에 고해상도 영상출력 기능을 지원하기 위한 영상출력 시스템을 구현한다. 본 시스템은 영상데이터 처리부로부터의 15프레임의 HD 영상입력을 TV 시스템에서 사용 가능한 60프레임의 HD영상으로 출력하는 기능을 수행한다. 이 결과, 제안된 시스템은 프로세서 성능을 저프레임 영상출력에 해당하는 정도로 줄여줄 수 있으므로 이는 시스템의 비용 절감 및 다양한 부가기능 추가로 연결 되어진다. 결론적으로, 영상출력 시스템을 이용한 전자앨범 기능의 모듈 시스템을 개발하여 본 방식의 유효성을 확인한다.

멀티캐스트기반 고화질 IPTV 서비스를 위한 홈네트워크 품질보장 기법 (Novel Home Network QoS Mechanism for the High-Definition IPTV Service based on Multicast Traffic)

  • The home network has been revitalized due to the emergence of the high-speed broadband network and explosive increases of the home network services. Especially multicast based high-definition (HD) IPTV service is on high demand from both Internet service provider (ISP) and users. In order to provide high quality HD IPTV service without packet loss and delay, the ISP utilizes various network QoS mechanisms. Due to the misleading fact, that the home gateway is considered as an end terminal in terms of the ISP's viewpoint, the ISPs can not guarantee the end-to-end QoS within the scope of the current home network architecture. Therefore, an independent QoS guaranteed mechanism should be considered within the home network domain. As the home gateway manages both private home and public access network within the home network, we propose and implement a novel QoS mechanism for the multicast based HD IPTV service over the home gateway. In order to provide QoS guaranteed HD IPTV service, the proposed mechanism classifies the packets, manages home network bandwidth resources, and executes call admission control using the channel join message. Also, we utilize layer 2 multicast packet forwarding scheme to improve the overall performance of the home network services. Through the experiments of implementing the multicast based HD IPTV services, we will verify the efficiency of the proposed mechanism.

High-speed Satellite ATM Experimentations and Demonstrations using Ka-band Koreasat-3

  • In this paper, we present the experimentation and demonstration results of Korea-Japan high-speed satellite ATM network using Ka-band Koreasat-3. This experimentation consists of two items - TCP/IP and MPEG-2 video/audio transmission over 155Mbps ATM based satellite network. The goals of this experimentation are to measure TCP performance when the only standard mechanisms approved by IETF in order to improve TCP performance in LFN(long fat network) are used and to derive the effects of quality for the high definition video stream when MPEG-2 TS is transmitted through 155Mbps satellite ATM link. With on the results of the experiments, we demonstrated the applications suitable to the high-speed satellite ATM network. The first TCP/IP and MPEG-2 transmission experiments were done at the rate of 155Mbps using Ka-band KOREASAT-3 between Korea and Japan, and its results will be demonstrated with the ATM-based 3D-HDV(3 dimensional High definition video) and HDTV during 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup Soccer Game.

프로그래머블 멀티 포맷 비디오 디코더 (A Programmable Multi-Format Video Decoder)

  • 본 논문에서는 최신 압축 표준인 HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding)를 포함한 다양한 비디오 압축 표준을 처리할 수 있는 프로그래머블 멀티 포맷 복호기(Multi-Format video Decoder: MFD)를 제안한다. 제안한 MFD는 DTV(Digital Tele-Vision) SoC(System on Chip)에 필요한 고사양의 FHD(Full High Definition) 비디오 복호기를 목표로 하였다. 다양한 동영상 압축 표준과 방대한 연산 능력을 지원하기 위하여 제안된 플랫폼에서는 재구성형 프로세서(reconfigurable processor)와 하드웨어 가속기의 하이브리드 구조를 사용하였다. 실험결과 HEVC로 압축된 초당 30장의 FHD 영상을 300MHz에서 디코딩 가능함을 확인하였다.
