고강도 구조용 강재의 고온물성 평가연구 (Evaluation Study on the Mechanical and Thermal Properties of High Strength Structural Steel at High Temperature)

  • 최근 건축물은 재료의 고강도화 및 단면형상 최적화를 바탕으로 초고층화, 장대화 및 복합화 추세로 발달하고 있으나, 화재 위험성에 의한 구조적 거동에 관한 연구는 매우 미진한 실정이다. 특히 고강도 구조용 강재로 구성된 강구조 건축물의 구조부재에 대한 화재 노출 시 거동평가를 위한 기초적인 자료조차 거의 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고층 강구조 건축물에 활용되고 있는 고강도 구조용 강재의 고온 시 구조적 내력 평가를 위한 기계적 특성과 열적 특성 자료 도출을 목적으로 항복강도, 탄성계수 그리고 열전도율 등을 측정하고, 이를 일반 구조용 강재의 특성과 비교분석을 통하여 상대적 안전성을 평가한다.

기밀소재 Graphite의 고온마모 특성에 관한 연구 (Wear Properties of Seal Graphite at Elevated Temperature)

  • Graphite는 고온/고압의 가스가 추진기관 내의 구동장치에 유입되지 않게 기밀 소재로 사용되며, 마모 과정에서 윤활막을 형성하여 구조물 안에서 윤활과 기밀을 돕는다. 본 연구는 기밀 소재로 사용되는 Graphite의 고온 마모 시험을 통해 고온 마모 특성을 평가하였다. 고밀도 Graphite (HK-6)에 대하여 실제 작동환경에 기초 한 온도, 미끄럼 속도, 접촉 하중 조건에 따른 마모 특성을 평가 및 고찰하였다. 마모 표면 관찰을 통해 마모 메카니즘을 파악하고 고온 마모 특성을 통하여 최적화된 작동 환경 조건에 대하여 제안 하였다. 결과적으로, 상온에서 보다 고온 환경에서 윤활막 형성에 유리 하여 마찰 계수가 비교적 낮게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • In this study, the fundamental properties of High-Strength Concrete(HSC), such as the slump loss, the temperature increment, the strength development, are considered by experiment. In reducing the temperature and the slump loss, and developing the strength of HSC, the application of silica fume as an admixtures is very effective. And when gypsum is added, the slump loss is reduced and the strength of HSC is improved remarkably, but the temperature of concrete is increased, thus a more study to reduce the temperature increment is required

  • In this paper, physical properties of cement mortar for floor using expansion agent are discussed varied with mixing time and curing temperature, delivery time and content of added water for preventing fluidity loss. According to experimental results, slump loss shows high with elapse of time And as curing temperature goes up, it also show high when curing temperature goes up and time lag between mixing and casting increases. As curing temperature goes down, drying shrinkage shows to be decreased. But it shows decline tendency with increase of added water content.

  • In high temperature aircraft electronics, aluminium based brazing filler is the prime choice today. Aluminium and its alloys have compatible properties like weight minimization, thermal conductivity, heat dissipation, high temperature precipitation hardening etc. suitable for the aerospace industry. However, the selection of brazing filler for high temperature electronics requires high temperature joint strength properties which is crucial for the aerospace. Thus the selection of proper brazing alloy material, the composition and brazing method play an important role in deciding the final reliability of aircraft electronic components. The composition of these aluminium alloys dependent on the addition of the various elements in the aluminium matrix. The complex shapes of aluminium structures like enclosures, heat dissipaters, chassis for electronic circuitry, in avionics are designed from numerous individual components and joined thereafter. In various aircraft applications, the poor strength caused by the casting and shrinkage defects is undesirable. In this report the effect of various additional elements on Al based alloys and brazing fillers have been discussed.

  • High-temperature superconduction materials(Bi2223) possess electrical/electronic and magnetic properties. Because high-temperature superconduction materials is a ceramic powder, that can not be produced singlehandedly. So Ag sheathed Bi-2223 wire was produced by drawing process using powder-in-tube(PIT) method. This superconductor has many difficulties to produce. The main difficulty is that the mechanical properties of the ceramic powder are very different from those of the Ag sheath. Bi2223 high-temperature superconductivity have a single filament drawing process, and multi-filament drawing process. This study analysed multi-filament drawing process by FEM, a defects during multi-filament drawing was studied by FEM.

고온과 고온노출 후 GFRP 보강근의 잔존인장성능 비교 (A Comparison of Residual Tensile Properties of GFRP Reinforcing Bar at High Temperature and after Exposure to High Temperature)

  • 고온에 노출된 GFRP 보강근의 인장실험을 수행하였다. 본 실험을 위한 고온노출조건은 $200^{\circ}C$ 이하의 온도에 3분간 노출하는 것으로 하였다. 이러한 조건은 다른 연구자들의 시험에서 적용한 고온노출조건과 비교하여 경미한 고온노출조건이다. 고온에서와 고온노출 후 GFRP 보강근의 인장강도와 탄성계수를 비교하였다. 실험결과, 고온에서 GFRP 보강근의 인장성능이 감소하는 것으로 나타났으나, 고온노출 후 보강근의 인장성능은 거의 고온노출전의 수준으로 회복되는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 화재로 손상 받은 GFRP 보강 콘크리트 구조물의 평가를 위하여 중요한 자료가 된다.

  • In this paper, It is studied that the variation of the dielectric absorption of the specimen according to the change with $^{60}$ Co-${\gamma}$ ray irradiation dose of the influence of temperature and applied voltage. In order to investigate the effect of irradiated oriented polypropylene film, we have observed dielectric properties within the temporature range of 30~130 ($^{\circ}C$) and voltage range of 100~250 (V). As for the dependency of temperature by tan $\delta$, the $\alpha$ peak which appears at high temperature increases accordingly to the increment of irradiation dose which is contributed by the crystal region and moves towards the high temperature. The $\beta$ peak which appears the orientation by dipoles and molecular motions in the amorphous region at low temperature. For the dependency of voltage by tan $\delta$ at low temperature, the peak of the tan $\delta$ shifts accordingly to the increment of irradiation dose towards the high temperature region.

  • Gas turbine performance is highly dependent on the engine performance which is closely related to the engine materials since they are exposed to severe working environments, i.e, high temperature and high stresses. For this reason, advanced materials with improved properties are required for the engine. The purpose of this research is to develop key materials technologies for aircraft industry and to tester domestic production of related parts. In this paper, the real-time prediction of high temperature creep strength and creep life for nickel-based superalloy Udimet 720(high-temperature and high-pressure the gas turbine engine materials) was performed on round-bar type specimens under pure load at the temperatures of 538, 649 and $704^{\circ}C$.

  • In this study, mechanical properties of high strength cement composites (HSC) containing recycled glass powder (GP) after heating were investigated. As a result, at 100Mpa, as the heating temperature increased, the compressive strength increased while the elastic modulus decreased . At 140Mpa, after heating at 300℃, the spalling occurred excluding GP0, and it is believed to be due to the high density of HSC.
