  • COVID-19 has changed a lot in our daily lives, where school classes and remote classes have been combined or converted to remote classes. Many students spent more time online, and cyberbullying, such as indiscriminate disclosure of their personal information, bullying of their classmates online, increased. In this paper, we propose an online education program as a countermeasure against cyberbullying. This program is designed for elementary, middle, and high school students and can also be used for informatics or ethics classes in the 2015 curriculum. The proposed program is divided into four major themes: 'Cyberbullying,' 'Information Security,' 'Cyber Crime,' and 'Language Violence,' and is divided into a total of ten topics according to its connection. It was organized to teach the topics evenly by grade. Also, the program's feasibility was verified by experts on the selection of educational contents and organizing of contents. In the future, it will be necessary to apply for this program and conduct an effectiveness analysis to measure whether it has effectively contributed to the decrease in cyberbullying rates among students and the improvement of coping skills.

  • Virtual reality is actively applied in the fields of games, entertainment, communication, sports, and architecture. In particular, many virtual reality-based education systems are being developed in the field of education, creating efficient learning effects. In addition, virtual reality-based education is used in areas such as maintenance, fighter control, medical care, and firefighting as it can maximize the educational effect through the mastery process of the function itself through the curriculum as well as indirect experiences of dangerous situations that are difficult to experience. However, due to technical limitations, lack of contents, and lack of theoretical research, the level of application of military education and training is still insufficient. This paper aim to contribute to the development of a virtual reality-based education system as a military training system by developing a high-quality drop training system applicable to military group descent training, studying key technologies and implementation methods necessary for development.

  • In this thesis, the cognition of students gifted in science on pseudo science was studied in order to acquire basic data to develop a learning program. As a first step, the difference of cognition on pseudo science between science-gifted students and general students in elementary, middle and high schools was studied. Findings revealed that science-gifted students had more negative thought on pseudo science than general students. In addition, there was no progress in their cognition on pseudo science as entered higher grades. Secondly, the cognition of students in a science high school, three times over a 6-month period, was studied. Through this study, it was found that student concepts of pseudo science was not firm, and it is quite possible to induce students to think logically and rationally with the help of a well-organized learning program. Lastly, the factors that might affect student ideas on pseudo science were researched. Students were affected by media such as television and books and also by personal experience. Therefore, students should be trained to correctly judge information presented in the media as authentic or false. Moreover, they should also be provided chances to look back on positive astrological experiences.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of elementary school students' conception on the movement of the moon, after teaching a lesson about the lunar phase which focused on concrete activities. The 396 subjects in this study consisted of intact groups of second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. Pre-test and post-test instrument concerning on the conception in the movement of the moon were developed after reviewing the related literature and curriculum. Prevailing conceptions were identified by frequency of each conception. Then, the pattern of change and consistency of each conception were analyzed in comparison pre-test with post-test. To figure out the effect of teaching, the GEFT and the GALT instrument were administered to analyze it by gender, cognition mode and level. SPSS/WIN programs were used to process the data. The result showed that teaching 'movement of the moon' was the most effective in fourth grade. The effect of teaching 'changes in shape of the moon' was effective regardless of their sexes. Teaching 'changes in shapes of the moon' was more effective for the students whose cognitive modes were field-independent, than those filed-dependent. But the improvement by the teaching was not significantly different. The pre-score by cognitive level was significantly high in the order of the formal operational, transitional stage and the concrete operational stage. But the improvement of conception after teaching was high in the order of the concrete operational, transitional stage and the formal operational stage. That is to say, teaching was more effective as the cognitive level lowered.

  • Utilizing the mathematical materials in elementary mathematics education is known to increase the learners' creativity and interests for mathematics. Although the effects of mathematical materials have been frequently researched, a practical plan and a process to utilize the mathematical materials has been rarely researched. The dependence on the mathematical materials is tested by the students' responses to the mathematical problems in the class that allowed to use mathematical materials. The activities in the text book are reorganized to seven chapters for utilizing the mathematical materials. The dependence on the mathematical materials when solving the mathematical problems is investigated by the textbook, students' answers, and handouts. The conclusions of this study are: First of all, the activities using mathematical materials are reorganized within the mathematics education curriculum. The high interests are also investigated in all the learning level of learners. Second, the learners in the high learning level use the mathematical materials for their needs and the correction of their mistakes. The dependence on mathematical materials is lowest compared to the other level learners. Third, the learners in the mid learning level also use the mathematical materials for their needs and their mistakes, but are often confused when utilizing the materials. Fourth, the learners in the low learning level show their interests, and enthusiasm in the mathematical materials themselves. Their interests help to solve mathematical problems. The dependence on the materials is higher than the other level learners, but the dependence is not shown only for the low level learners.

  • The 21st centurt, the era of change-space, is requesting us to readjust our education system. In other words, we should renew it by looking back into the past cultivate more advanced ideas. As a matter of fact junior colleges have been considered just as miniture of universities in every way such as curriculum, prossor emploment, school affairs, etc. Therefore we should change our existing education system not to be criticized for the next century. May students are trained for industry as dental technicians in our department of college. We should educate experiment and practice substantially as college professors as well as exert ourselves in developing our abilities to adapt to high diverse industrial technique, putting emphasis on practice more than theory. It is mecessary for us to sufficiently teach the technique to good students and make them display their abilities in order to produce high quality goods. Reinvestment ineducation is a condition precedent. Dental laboratories have just employed the students that graduated from our college. However it's time for a change. They should pay attention to our education and assist us in all respects with the thought of equally educating professional dental technicians together with us. The field practice system is subject to reinforcement so that our students have more opporunities of utilizing the tools and materials for practice. Finally we should not only carry out new reserch more deeply no less than dental technicians who are experienced in business for development of education system but endeavor to meet pratical education by adding what is pratically needed in dental laboratories to the existing education system.
