Design and Implementation of Hierarchical Routing on PNNI Network (PNNI 망에서 다계층 라우팅의 설계 및 구현)

  • 본 논문에서는 PNNI 망에서의 다계층 라우팅 알고리즘에 대해서 제안한다. PNNI규격은 ATM 사설망의 노드간 혹은 망간 접속 규격으로 ATM FORUM에서 규정되었으나, 동적 라우팅, 다양한 QOS 지원, Soft PVC 등 망의 상태에 유동적으로 대처하고 관리의 편리함 때문에 ATM 공중망에서의 PNNI 도입이 논의되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나, 현재까지 공중망에서 쓰여질 PNNI에 관한 라우팅 알고리듬과 정책에 대해서 언급은 많지 않은 편이다. 이에 공중망의 비교적 간단한 토폴로지와 정확한 서비스 제공이라는 특징에 부합하는 라우팅 알고리듬을 제시한다.

  • 대화형 에이전트는 자연어를 기반으로 사용자질외에 대한 적절한 정보를 제공하고, 사용자와 지속적으로 대화를 진행해가는 시스템이다. 사용자의도를 파악하고 적절히 대답하기 위해서는 사용자질의에 대한 효과적인 분석이 필요하다. 또한 단발적인 대답뿐 아니라 지속적인 대화가 가능해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 모델링에 사용되는 베이지안 네트워크를 계층적으로 구성하여 사용자질의로부터 사용자의도를 추론하며, 이전 대화상태를 활용하여 지속적인 대화가 가능하도록 한다. 실제 웹 사이트를 안내하는 대화형 에이전트를 설계하며 적용해봄으로써 그 가능성을 확인해 볼 수 있었다.

  • I construct a chaotically driven contraction system having some analogy with the information transfer mechanism in the brain system especially from CA1 cell to CA3 cell known from the empirical result. And I consider the properties of the response system on a state space according to the external input into the drive neuron by observing the fractal hierarchical structure. Then I induce the relation between the information about state transition of the chaotic time series and the spatial information on a fractal attractor to confirm the possibility of encoding of time series data to spatial information.

  • The wireless communication network is evolving toward the Personal Communication System to provide various multimedia services. In order to accomplish this goal, the effective schemes are required which can dynamically utilize the limited wireless resources based on traffic characteristics of each services. This paper proposes a novel call admission control scheme for the hierarchical macrocell/microcell structured PCS. It is based on the bandwidth reservation procedure performed in the macrocell or neighboring microcell. Its effectiveness is investigated by simulation.

  • 점증하고 있는 무선망에서의 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 안정적으로 지원하기 위해서는 효율적인 대역폭 관리가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 네트워크의 기반이 되는 계층 셀 구조에서, 대역폭의 효율적인 관리를 지원하기 위한 통합 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 현재 트래픽의 과밀도와 사용자의 이동성을 기반으로 적절한 셀 선택, 대역폭 예약 및 재설정, 버퍼링 등의 알고리즘을 설계하였으며, 이들을 유기적으로 통합, 시스템 전반의 QoS를 향상시켰다.

Subgroup Analysis of Global Communication Network on Twitter (트위터에 나타난 국제 커뮤니케이션 네트워크의 하위집단 분석)

  • We investigated subgroups within a global communication network to improve the empirical understanding of global communication phenomenon from the social network perspective. We collected global communication data from Twitter and constructed a global communication network. We also added countries' geographic and economic properties used in the United Nations and the World Economic Forum. We analyzed the subgroups' structure within the global communication network using centrality analysis, core-peripheral analysis, and cohesion analysis. We also detected communities embedded within the global communication network with modularity-based community detection methods. We found that the core countries occupy central positions in the global communication network and there is a hierarchical communication structure among the economic subgroups. Futhermore, we discovered some communities within the global communication network and found that countries within the communities can have homophily such as economy, geography, history, culture, and religion.

  • In this paper, network selection algorithm for services of mobile IPTV(internet protocol television) and implementation of a hierarchical processing system for reducing overload by terminal with low speed is proposed. This algorithm selects the network according to the following priorities derived from formulas; value that uses remaining bandwidth, network cost, signal strength. If terminal has a low processing power for using selected network and TV service, quality of service declines due to the system overloading. Hence, we implemented system which processes selected network and TV services accomplished by layer divided. Through experiments results, the method of direct user network selection waits for bandwidth assignment. However, on the one hand, that waiting time in exhausted situation will be very long. On the other hand, if we consider the priority plot of used networks, we should select the network with the best state. Therefore, data transmission rate will keep on average and the waiting time will be low.

  • The data center is a physical environment facility for accommodating computer systems and related components, and is an essential foundation technology for next-generation core industries such as big data, smart factories, wearables, and smart homes. In particular, with the growth of cloud computing, the proportional expansion of the data center infrastructure is inevitable. Monitoring the health of these data center facilities is a way to maintain and manage the system and prevent failure. If a failure occurs in some elements of the facility, it may affect not only the relevant equipment but also other connected equipment, and may cause enormous damage. In particular, IT facilities are irregular due to interdependence and it is difficult to know the cause. In the previous study predicting failure in data center, failure was predicted by looking at a single server as a single state without assuming that the devices were mixed. Therefore, in this study, data center failures were classified into failures occurring inside the server (Outage A) and failures occurring outside the server (Outage B), and focused on analyzing complex failures occurring within the server. Server external failures include power, cooling, user errors, etc. Since such failures can be prevented in the early stages of data center facility construction, various solutions are being developed. On the other hand, the cause of the failure occurring in the server is difficult to determine, and adequate prevention has not yet been achieved. In particular, this is the reason why server failures do not occur singularly, cause other server failures, or receive something that causes failures from other servers. In other words, while the existing studies assumed that it was a single server that did not affect the servers and analyzed the failure, in this study, the failure occurred on the assumption that it had an effect between servers. In order to define the complex failure situation in the data center, failure history data for each equipment existing in the data center was used. There are four major failures considered in this study: Network Node Down, Server Down, Windows Activation Services Down, and Database Management System Service Down. The failures that occur for each device are sorted in chronological order, and when a failure occurs in a specific equipment, if a failure occurs in a specific equipment within 5 minutes from the time of occurrence, it is defined that the failure occurs simultaneously. After configuring the sequence for the devices that have failed at the same time, 5 devices that frequently occur simultaneously within the configured sequence were selected, and the case where the selected devices failed at the same time was confirmed through visualization. Since the server resource information collected for failure analysis is in units of time series and has flow, we used Long Short-term Memory (LSTM), a deep learning algorithm that can predict the next state through the previous state. In addition, unlike a single server, the Hierarchical Attention Network deep learning model structure was used in consideration of the fact that the level of multiple failures for each server is different. This algorithm is a method of increasing the prediction accuracy by giving weight to the server as the impact on the failure increases. The study began with defining the type of failure and selecting the analysis target. In the first experiment, the same collected data was assumed as a single server state and a multiple server state, and compared and analyzed. The second experiment improved the prediction accuracy in the case of a complex server by optimizing each server threshold. In the first experiment, which assumed each of a single server and multiple servers, in the case of a single server, it was predicted that three of the five servers did not have a failure even though the actual failure occurred. However, assuming multiple servers, all five servers were predicted to have failed. As a result of the experiment, the hypothesis that there is an effect between servers is proven. As a result of this study, it was confirmed that the prediction performance was superior when the multiple servers were assumed than when the single server was assumed. In particular, applying the Hierarchical Attention Network algorithm, assuming that the effects of each server will be different, played a role in improving the analysis effect. In addition, by applying a different threshold for each server, the prediction accuracy could be improved. This study showed that failures that are difficult to determine the cause can be predicted through historical data, and a model that can predict failures occurring in servers in data centers is presented. It is expected that the occurrence of disability can be prevented in advance using the results of this study.

  • Warehouse has many changes for the stocks by entering and taking. Management about the stocks is important. To manage, sensor network based on RFID is deployed in warehouse. Sensor network uses fluster based on energy and hierarchical routing. Supporting mobility between clusters makes guarantee connectivity for mobile nodes.

  • 요즘 모든 분야에서 실세계의 상황정보 인지를 통해 전자공간과 물리공간을 결합할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 기반 기술을 사용하여 센서와 무선 통신 기술을 결합한 무선 센서 네트워크에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 추세이다. 또한 선박에서도 유무선 기술을 융합하여 지능형 선박에 적합한 Ship Area Network(SAN) 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 다양한 유무선 네트워크 연동 SAN-브릿지 기술, 이종 센서, 제어기기를 자율적으로 구성관리하거나 상호연동, 원격제어 하는 자율 SAN 구성관리 기술 등의 필요성이 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 선박에서의 모니터링 분야인 구조적 안전과 화물 관리를 위한 모니터링 외에도 선원을 포함한 모든 주변 환경을 안전하게 유지하는 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기후 변화에 대한 감지나 여러 구조물에 대한 온도, 압력 등의 모니터링 시스템을 효율적으로 설계하기 위해 무선 센서 네트워크에서의 에너지 효율을 이용한 라우팅 및 데이터 병합을 위한 기술 동향을 파악하고 자기 구성 클러스터링 방법을 분석하여 선내의 무선 센서 네트워크 구성에 대해 연구하였다.
