1. Purpose This paper was written in order to understand the concept of ${\ulcorner}$DongMuYooGo YakSungGa${\lrcorner}$ (東武遣稿 藥性歌) which was descending as the material of Sasang pharmacology. So we are planning to make use of the fundamental material of the study on the Sasang Medications and Prescriptions. 2. Methods Through comparing each clause of ${\ulcorner}$DongMuYooGo YakSungGa${\lrcorner}$ on all the sasang -records, we understood that concept. 3 Result 1) ${\ulcorner}$DongMuYooGo YakSungGa${\lrcorner}$ of a literary work of DongMu(東武) which contain special elucidative-method of herb-nature has 18 type of YakSungGa which explain each 27 herbs for the Taeeumin, Soyangin and Soeumin. The period of authoship is supposed to the time just before ${\ulcorner}$DongyiSuseBowon Gabobon${\lrcorner}$ (東醫壽世保元 甲午本)(1894, DongMu 58 years old) or middle of fifties(53-57 years old). 2) YakSungGa of ${\ulcorner}$DongMuYooGo${\lrcorner}$ which is published by the BoGunsung(保健省) of North Korea is supposed to close to original type. The main meaning of that is the herb-nature which works on the weakst point of each Sasangin. And then the herbs were classfied by the diseases and symptoms possessing Bomyungjiju(保命之主), the herb's efficacy is explained at the each constitution. 3) The meaning of ${\ulcorner}$DongMuYooGo YakSungGa${\lrcorner}$ is exposure of the opinion of DongMu's early stage that proposed herb-nature which is applied to the principle of Jang(臟) of Sasangin, reason and purpose to enact newly created prescriptios by the constitutional diseases and symptoms, and the compositional principle of newly created prescription. 4) The selection of herbs or cogution of herb-nature of DongMu's pharmacological opinion of his early stage was changed by accumulating clinical experience. So all the newly created prescriptios of ${\ulcorner}$DongyiSuseBowon${\lrcorner}$ could not be explained by only the herb and the herd-nature on ${\ulcorner}$DongMuYooGo YakSungGa${\lrcorner}$. Therefore the purpose of DongMu's YaksungGa is not explaining the symptoms in charge of each herb or classifying the herb by constitution, but offering the principle of composition of prescription of Sasang, from the necessary herb which possess and expand Bomyungjiju to nature of herb which is applied to the constitution for treating all the diseases and sypmtoms by the heavy or light and slow or speedy.

I examined and referred to literatures of every generations on the nicknames, causes, herb medications and acupucture treatments of ptosis(上胞下垂) And then the results were obtained as follows. 1. The nicknames of ptosis(上胞下垂) are hyumok(휴목), chimpung(侵風), geompye(瞼廢), geompisubok(瞼皮垂覆), posu(胞垂) and bigwon(脾倦) which corresponds to blepharoptosis in Western Medicine. 2. The congenital ptosis(上胞下垂) is mostly caused by innate disposition(稟賦不足). The acquired ptosis(上胞下垂) is mostly caused by Qi sinking of Tri-energizer(中氣下陷). And besides this, there are Blood stasis due to Qi stagnancy(氣滯血瘀), invasion of the eyelid by wind(風邪入絡), Qi and Blood deficiency(氣血不足), Phlegm syndrome due to wind(風痰阻絡), Wind syndrome due to Yang hypertrophy(陽亢動風) and Stagnation of Liver Qi(肝氣鬱結). 3. In herb medication of ptosis(上胞下垂), Bojungikgitang(補中益氣湯) was used 14 times most and its effects are nourishing the spleen to promote the flow of Qi(健脾益氣) and elevating the YangQi and activation the meridian(升陽活絡). In the following, Insamyangyeongtang(人蔘養榮湯) was done 6 times and has effects of promoting the Qi and activating the blood(益氣養血) and of promoting blood circulation and restoring flow(活血通絡). The next, Jungyongtang(正容湯) appeared 5 times and this can expel wind, resolve phlegm and restore flow(祛風滌痰通絡). As single herb, Radix glycyrrhizae(甘草) was used 66 times most. Besides this, there are a few herbs used many times like Rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae(白朮), Radix angelicae gogantis(當歸), Radix ginseng(人蔘). Radix astragali(황기) and Rhizoma cimicifugae(升麻). 4. In acupunture treatment, Chanzhu(撰竹) was used 19 times most. Besides this acupoint, there are some points choson frequently like Zusanli(足三里), Sanyinjiao(三飮交), Yangbai(陽白), Taiyang(太陽), Tongziliao(瞳子 ), Jingming(晴明), Hegu(合谷) and Fengchi(風池).

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of breath-counting meditation on anxiety disorder patients with panic attack. Methods: Two anxiety disorder patients with panic attack were treated with Breath-counting Meditation, acupunctures, and herb-medications. The patients have been predicted for anxiety disorder with panic attack through Dignosis and Statistical Manual (DSM-IV), Panic Disorder Severity Scale (PDSS), BDI (Beck Depression Inventory), and BAI (Beck Anxiety Inventory) on their 1st and 6th treatments. Results: After the treatments, both the physical and psychological symptoms have decreased. Conclusions: This study suggests that the breath-counting meditation is an effective way for treating patients who are suffering from anxiety disorder with panic attack.

Nummular eczema is well-shaped, coin-like lesion. Usually it is surrounded by the papules and vesicles, and is likely to be the impetigo. It's said that nummular eczema is combined with atopic dermititis, contact dermatitis, bacterial infection and so on. Recently, we experienced a nummular eczema with impetigo and that was successfully treated by the herb-medication and the ceramic resonance therapy. The medications taken by the patient were yunwhasagnatang and gamisopungsan which is used to treat allergic disease and make immune system be strong. The former effects the liver to be cool down and healthy and it also has anti-imflamatory reactions like the corticosteroid hormone. Ceramic resonance therapy utilises irradiation within the frequency range of the radiation emitted by the human body. So we report this case with a brief review of the oriental medical and medical literatures.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to provide clinical evidences on effectiveness of herbal medicine treatment regarding pediatric growth based on recent clinical studies. Methods Selected 17 clinical studies since January 1998 to June 2018 from the Journal of Pediatrics of Korean Medicine and OASIS Traditional Medicine Knowledge Portal were reviewed. Results Medications that strengthening spleen and stomach (健脾胃藥), digestant (消導藥), supplementing kidneys (補 腎藥), and lungs (補肺藥) were frequently used. Frequently used herbs were Hoelen (茯?), Citri Pericarpium (陳皮), Glycyrrhizae Radix (甘草), Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba (白朮), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (山藥), Angelicae Gigantis Radix (當歸), Amomi Fructus (砂仁), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (熟地黃). Conclusions This study showed that Korean herb medicine treatment can be effective for pediatric growth.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate Korean clinical studies on treatment of childhood obesity and to propose for better treatment options for childhood obesity. Methods Based on RISS, KISS, OASIS, KMbase with the keyword 'childhood obesity', 'child obesity', 'obese child', 'overweight child', total of 21 randomized controlled trials (RCTs), 11 single clinical studies, 3 chart reviews and 3 case reports have been found, and were analyzed. Results and Conclusion 1. Some study subjects were classified based on their sex - only men or women in a group or sometimes both. Another way of classify the study subjects were based on their age - preschooler, primary school students, middle school students, and high school students. The diagnostic criteria of the subjects were BMI (body mass index), Body fat percentage, Obesity index, Weight and unknown criteria. 2. The treatments used in 38 studies were exercise alone, education alone, both exercise and education or herbal therapy. The 7 studies that used herbal therapy as part of their study intervention had a study group with herbal intervention only and the other 2 study group with herbal treatment in addition to exercise and education. 3. 9 studies included herb medicines, electroacupuncture, auricular acupuncture, cupping, aroma massage, infrared light, and abdomen pad. Herb medications used in 5 studies included Chegameuiin-tang 2 kinds, Sobieum, Biman-tnag, and I-razin. 4. The methods of assessment used in 38 studies were classified by 7 categories and anthropometry parameters which is the basic methods are used in all studies 5. Almost studies (29 studies in all 38 studies) were using anthropometric parameters results on significantly effectiveness of childhood obesity. 6. More studies are needed to prove true effectives from various treatments, especially herbal therapy for childhood obesity.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of EFT on panic disorder patients. Methods: The three patients with panic disorders were treated with oriental medical treatments which involved acupunctures, herb-medications, moxibustion and emotional freedom techniques. The patients have been predicted with panic disorder twice through diagnosis and statistical manual (DSM-IV), Panic Disorder Severity Scale (PDSS), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Beck's Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck's Anxiety Inventory (BAI) upon their admission and discharge. Results: After the treatments, both the physical and psychological symptoms have decreased. Conclusions: This study suggested that the EFT is an effective way for treating patients who are suffering panic disorders.

Objectives: This paper is to report a spontaneous pregnancy with low AMH level and thin endometrium infertility after Korean medical treatments.Methods: A 38-year old patient who had low AMH level, thin endometrium, sleep disturbance and anxiety happened after anorectal cancer surgery was treated by korean medicine such as herb medications per day for 6 months. And we observed the effects of treatments by improvement of symptoms checking endometrium ultrasonography.Results: After treatments, Symptoms of anxiety and sleep disturbance were improved. The number of ovarian follicle and endometrium thickness were upgraded during artificial pregnancy trials. Finally the patient was a spontaneous pregnancy after failures of one intrauterine insemination and one in vitro fertilization trial.Conclusions: This case shows that the korean medicine has effective option for a patient with low AMH level and thin endometrium infertility. Further ultrasonography would be valid measurements to check the effectiveness of oriental treatments as well as symptoms.

Objective : To analyze the effects of Yukmijihwang-tang, Taeksa-tang, Silbi-um on mesangial cell proliferation, fibronectin synthesis and MHC-class II expression. Methods : Laboratory studies were performed with the method of surface enzyme immunoassays or flow cytometry after addition of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) supernatants treated with medications using the cultured human mesangial cells. Results : 1. Silbi-um produces more suppressive effect than control group and hydrocortisone group on the mesangial cell proliferation. In Yukmijihwang-tang, Taeksa-tang and Silbi-um, mesangial cell proliferation significantly decreased than in hydrocortisone group 2. In the 'without fetal bovine serum' study, Yukmijihwang-tang take more suppressive effect than Control group on the fibronectin synthesis. In the 'with fetal bovine serum' study, Yukmijihwang-tang, Taeksa-tang, Silbi-um all have suppressive effect, but it hasn' t any statistical significance. 3. Yukmijihwang-tang, Taeksa-tang, Silbi-um all have a suppressive effect on the MHC-class II expression. Conclusions : Herb medicine generally show a suppressive effect on the suppression of the mesangial cell proliferation, fibronectin synthesis and MHC-class II expression.
