한국(韓國)의 전통적(傳統的) 식생활공간(食生活空間) (A Historical Study on the Achitectural Cooking and Storing Spaces in Traditional Korean Houses)

  • In the life style of the neolithic age, cooking and sleeping space was in one room dugout without differentiation of spaces, so to say one room system. Ro(a kind of primitive fire place) was used for both cooking and heating. However, in the early part of the Iron Age, the uses of Ro were separated into two major uses of cooking and heating. Especially, L-shaped Kudle(an unique under floor heating structure of Korea) was invented for the new system of heating, extending to Koguryo Period. The life style of Koguryo Dynasty could be seen through the mural paintings of tombs. For these mural paintings contain of cooking space(Kitchen), meat storage, and mill house drawing, we can recognize that houses were specialized many quaters according to their function. Also a kitchen fuel hole for preparing food was built without relation to L-shaped Kudle. But during Koryo Period, Kudle could be set up all over the room, the so-called Ondol(the unique Korean panel heating system) settled down. From this development of heating system, room could be adjacent to kitchen, and kitchen fuel hole and heating fuel hole be onething. This system was developed with variety, extending to Chosun Dynasty. In the period of Chosun Dynasty, a kitchen was made close to an Anbang(Woman's living room), and Anbangs Ondol was heated by the warmth of a cooking fireplace. Therefore Handae Puok, outer kitchen was used in summer. As for its storage space, it was seen that there were a pantry near the kitchen and a store house constructed as an independant building. In the latter, it was devided into a firewood storage, a Kimchi storage, and a rice storage, etc. Especially it is a unique feature that 'Handae-Duyju', an outer rice chest which keeps rice, was constructed as an isolated small building.

임대아파트 난방방식별 에너지소비와 만족도 조사에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Energy Consumption and the Degree of Satisfaction by Heating System in Rental Apartment)

  • Considering the present development situation of rental apartment since 1982, the supply of homeless housing for low-income dwellers has contributed a amount of quantities, but has been deficient qualities in housing policy. To propose the energy policy for low-income dwellers, this study investigated the energy consumption and the degree of heating satisfaction by heating system through questionaries in permanent rental apartment and 50 year period rental apartment complexes. The results of this study were as follows; The annual energy consumption of heating and hot water supply is 267.2 Mca1/$\textrm{m}^2$ㆍyr in central heating system, is 163.9 Mca1/$\textrm{m}^2$ㆍyr in unit heating system. But from the view of annual energy cost and the degree of heating satisfaction, central heating system were better than unit heating system in rental apartment.

청소년 수련관의 열원설비 대안별 생애주기 비용에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Life Cycle Cost for Heat Source Equipments in Buildings for Adolescent Trainees)

  • Computer simulations were performed for Heating Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems to figure out more efficient maintenance methods for the building used for adolescent trainees. This study aims at suggesting design alternatives for optimum operation and performing life cycle cost (LCC) for each alternative. First, the capacity of the heat source equipment was determined using annual maximum heating and cooling loads. Annual loads were calculated and applied to the alternative for the purpose of calculating annual energy cost. Second, several types of data were collected to predict energy cost. Finally, the pay back period for each alternative was calculated using total cost estimation during standard duration period. This study indicates that the absorption chiller that does not occupy most part of a mechanical room, and does not need much operation cost was most economical.

마늘뜸의 연소특성에 관한 연구 (Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Combustion in Indirect Moxibustion with Garlic)

  • Objective: The propose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of combustion in indirect moxibustion with garlic. Methods: We observed the characteristics of combustion by the variations of the thickness(3mm, 4mm, 5mm) of a slice for indirect moxibustion with garlic and mass(80mg, 100mg, 120mg) of moxa cone and existence of holes. The temperature of indirect moxibustion for garlic insulation with holes was higher than temperature of indirect moxibustion for garlic insulation without holes. Combustions time in the preheating period is about 1 minute, it varies by the existence of holes, the thickness of a slice for indirect moxibustion with garlic, and the density of moxa cone. Results: Maximum temperature of heating period was $38.7{\sim}46.2^{\circ}C$, combustion time in the heating period was 118~164sec and maximum ascending temperature gradient was $0.102{\sim}0.264^{\circ}C/sec$. Retaining period was shorter than heating period and stimulus of heating retains more, because it is higher than body temperature. By this report, indirect moxibustion with garlic is more effective with holes and the appropriate thickness of a slice for indirect moxibustion with garlic is 3.5~4mm. It is appropriate that the diameter of moxa cone is 8mm and height of that is 10mm. With this condition, effective combustion period is 120sec, maximum temperature is $42{\sim}44^{\circ}C$, maximum ascending temperature gradient is $0.14{\sim}0.16^{\circ}C/sec$. It is necessary to study clinical correlations for more accurate quantitative standard.

지역난방 아파트의 난방 관리 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Residential Energy Management of Apartment in the District Heating Area)

  • Household energy consumption had influenced on the ecological system's environment. Household's exceeding energy consumption requires the development of resources and the risk. Thus this study attempted to find the household heating management, The purpose of this study was to investigate the household's heating management in the area of district heating. The major finding were; 1) The district heating was accepted positively and the benefit of this system was utilized very well in the household. 2) Variances in heating energy consumption was explained by the family size at October, residential period at October and November and the temperature of living room at October, November and December. 3) Compaired to central heating apartment, the low heating expenditure was characterize in the household of 4-5 persons, nuclear family at October, moderated heating control, using extra heating facilities at November. An in the December, that household was that husband has graduated college, temperature of the living room was some cold, and house wives was the full-time homemaker.

조리 방법에 따른 맛나지의 저장 기간별 품질 특성 변화 (Quality Characteristics of Mannaji (Boiled Beef Down in Korean Soy Sauce) by Cooking Method during Storage Period)

  • For development of food of Jong-ga (Jeonju Hakindang) and its commercialization, this study investigated physico-chemical properties and quality characteristics of Mannaji (boiled beef down in Korean soy sauce) prepared with conventional or pre-heating methods during storage period (0, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 weeks) at $4^{\circ}C$. As storage period passed, pH decreased in both conventional and pre-heating methods. Forchromaticity, brightness ($L^*$) significantly decreasedwhile redness ($a^*$) and yellowness ($b^*$) significantly increased during storage period. After 4 weeks of storage, hardness of Mannaji with conventional methods was higher compared to before storage. Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) of both conventional and pre-heating methods increased above 1.2 MDA mg/km, which is the acceptable criteria for intake. Although volatile basic nitrogen (VBN) values slightly increased in 4 weeks of storage, there were no significant differences in VBN and maintained food acceptable level until 20 weeks of storage. Sensory panelists showed preference for Mannaji with pre-heating methods compared to conventional methods.

투자회수기간을 고려한 군 주거시설의 단열수준 산정 연구 (Insulation Level Assessment on the Military Residential Facilities Considering the Investment Payback Period)

  • Purpose: This study, which is based on the investment payback periods, aims to suggest the proper insulation level which can be adapted to the Defense Military Facility Criteria regarding the military residential condominiums. For the energy performance simulation, it is required to collect the residential data regarding the military condominiums and climatic data concerning the regions they belongs to. The estimates through energy performance simulation are the regional heating loads and the heating transmission coefficients of building components. Method: With the heating loads, the annual heating cost saving per square meters is assessed. With the heating transmission coefficients of building components, the additional insulation installment cost per square meters is evaluated. With two outcomes, one as an annual value and the other as a present value, the investment payback period is calculated. Result: In result, it could be concluded that 55~70% insulation ratio can lead a superior residental environments as well as be contributed to the national policy associated with zero-energy buildings because the estimated investment payback period is shorter than the life span of the military residental condominiums. This upshot can be used as a foundation to enactment the Defense Military Facility Criteria associated with military residential condominiums.

애구(艾灸)의 연소(燃燒) 특성(特性)에 관한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)(II) - 애주(艾炷)의 밀도(密度)를 중심(中心)으로 - (An Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Moxa Combustion (II) - On the Density of Moxa Material -)

  • It is thought that the quantity and quality of the heat stimulation and the mechanism of heating process are important to understand the moxa-combustion. In order to get the basic data on the effective moxa-combustion method, combustion temperature changes (average temperature, peak temperature, average gradient temperature and maximum gradient temperature) of the heating period were measured respectively by the density of moxa material. For the experiment, samples of $300mg/0.26cm^3$ , $400mg/0.26cm^3$ and $500mg/0.26cm^3$ of moxa material were molded in a conical mold with each 10mm in diameter and height. 1. The average temperature and peak temperature of heating period on the moxa-combustion showed higher in the $400mg/0.26cm^3$ and $300mg/0.26cm^3$ than in the $500mg/0.26cm^3$ sample respectively. 2. The average gradient temperature of heating period on the moxa-combustion rose quickly in the $300mg/0.26cm^3$, $400mg/0.26cm^3$ and $500mg/0.26cm^3$ in that order and the maximum gradient temperature rose more quickly in the $300mg/0.26cm^3$ and $400mg/0.26cm^3$ than in the $500mg/0.26cm^3$ sample respectively. According to the above results, it is concluded that the density of moxa material is (the) more important (factor) than the weight or volume of moxa material on the combustion temperature changes of the heating period for the evaluation of the quality and quantity of moxa-combustion.

마이크로파 및 기존 가열 방법에 의한 제올라이트 NaY의 합성 (Synthesis of NaY Zeolites by Microwave and Conventional Heating)

  • 마이크로파 가열(microwave heating)에 의하여 제올라이트 NaY를 합성하였으며, 그 결과를 기존의 가열 방법(conventional heating)에 의하여 합성한 결과와 비교하였다. 같은 승온 속도를 사용하였을 때는 마이크로파에 의하여 가열하였을 때가 기존의 가열 방법에 비하여 NaY 결정 생성의 유도 기간(induction period)이 감소하였으며 결정의 생성 속도가 증가하였다. 또한 마이크로파의 사용 여부와 관계없이 승온 속도가 빠를 때도 유도 기간이 감소하고 결정 생성 속도가 증가하였다. 빠른 승온 속도에서 합성하였을 때 최종 결정의 크기가 크며, 이는 마이크로파의 사용에 의하여 더욱 증가하였다. 빠른 승온 속도에서는 반응 시간이 짧아져서 NaY의 합성에 소모되는 에너지 소모량은 감소하였다. 본 연구의 조건에서는 에틸렌글리 콜조(ethylene glycol bath)를 사용한 기존 가열 방법에서의 에너지 소모량이 마이크로파 가열보다 적게 나타났는데, 이는 마이크로파 에너지를 사용하는 것이 항상 효율적인 것만은 아니라는 것을 말해준다. 그러나 승온 속도를 적절히 조절하면 마이크로파 가열에 의해서 에너지 면에서 보다 효율적으로 NaY를 합성할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristic of the thermal environment at a living room by the heating system(floor radiation heating, forced convection heating, combined heating, radiation convection heating), and to compares the change of the thermal environment after operating the heating with after the operation stopped based on the floor radiation heating. This study proposes the basic data for the design and the development of the thermal storage structure heating system which not only utilizes fully the characteristic of the comfortable thermal environment but also reduces the preheating period and be able to use the off-peak electricity.
