  • This study aims to examine the structural relationship between consumers' health-related lifestyle. purchasing attitude and purchase intention in the rice-based bakery products market. Data were collected from 397 consumers in their 20 years old and more. Results showed that purchasing attitude positively affected nutrition, trends and taste, and it was a key variable in explaining the intention to purchase rice-based bakery products. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and cultivate rice flour varieties containing various nutrients and develop products by capturing the food trends among consumers to induce them to purchase rice-based bakery products. Purchasing attitude fully mediated the relationship between taste and purchase intention, which suggests that it is necessary to hold tasting or sampling events and carry out promotional activities for consumers to perceive that rice-based bakery products taste good, which may lead to positive purchasing attitude.

  • From several socioeconomic perspectives, the present health crisis can be connected to the 2008 financial and economic catastrophe. Governments worldwide are working hard to keep the markets in check, as evidence suggests that the health crisis may soon become an economic crisis. This paper aims to analyze the effect of COVID-19 on the selected stock market. Using a panel of daily COVID-19 confirmed cases and deaths and the stock market from 22 developing countries, we exploit an oil price as a shock to the stock market and examine the effect of COVID-19 on the slowdown of the stock market. We find a negative and significant impact of COVID-19 on the stock market in the first stage till April. However, there is no net influence on the stock market downturn when we extend the period. However, further study suggests that the outbreak's negative influence on the selected stock market has diminished and has begun to decline as of mid-April. As a result of the COVID-19 effect on the chosen stock, our findings imply that the government in the chosen market should consider a regulatory mechanism to reduce the stock market slowdown induced by the pandemic COVID-19.

  • The relationship between income inequality and capital account openness is empirically investigated in this study, where macroeconomic variables have opposing effects. Panel data used in the study from the KAOPEN Index and World Bank consists of 28 Asian countries and has been examined; it contains annual observations from 1970 to 2018. The data is examined using a random-effect model based on GMM estimates. Income inequality and capital account openness are positively and significantly related, according to our findings. Overall, the findings imply that increasing income gaps reduced capital investment in nations with large discrepancies. The growing economic discrepancy is being caused by the rich's increasing income share at the expense of the poor. In Asia, inward capital account openness exacerbates income inequality, while outward capital account openness exacerbates it. As a result, income inequality slows economic growth, leading to inflation, unemployment, and increased government spending in several Asian countries. Our control factors, GDP, and other secondary school enrolments, all had a statistically significant negative relationship with income inequality. Income disparity has a positive and statistically significant association with government spending, inflation, population, trade openness, and unemployment. Income disparity has a negative association with capital account openness, gross domestic product, and secondary school enrollment.

What are the direct impacts and indirect impacts of respondents' characteristics, self-rated health and farmer symptoms on health behaviors of the rural elderly? For this purpose, survey data was gathered from 881 rural elderly who live in a village. The statistical methods used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, correlations, and path analysis with spsswin 12.0 program. The major findings of this study are as follows: The level of health behaviors and self-rated health is low and the level of farmer symptoms is high. In general, it can be said that respondents of this study have the low level of physical health and health behaviors. A path analysis shows the relation of variables, which influence on health behaviors. Economic status, education status and farmer symptoms play direct and positive effects on health behaviors. Especially, the effect of farmer symptoms is more important than the others. Sex and age are indirectly significant on health behavior. The results obtained from the study confirm that objective physical health, like as farmer symptoms, plays important roles in health behavior of the rural elderly. It means that the Korean rural elderly need many facilities and services to promote their physical health.

The sample in this study was 300 employees who worked in Spas throughout Bali. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data analysis was using SEM and SMARTS as data processing. The results showed that green communication, namely communication that occurs between employees, superiors, and the environment, has a very good influence on the sustainability of employee performance. To become green management, a green organizational commitment that cares about the safety of employee health and the environment is an important factor as motivation in green dedication or positive employee productivity, but communication between work actors and justice is also a motivating factor. Work safety and job security for employees empower employees (which is a green line), especially for freelance work organizations so that further research in subsequent studies can make samples in a more varied industrial sector.

  • This study investigated the correlations of five constructs - health concerns, healthy eating practices and attitudes, food choice motives, attitudes toward organic foods - in the formation of behavioral to the purchasing intentions of organic foods. An instrument encompassing health perception, attitudes, habits and personal traits was developed through the comprehensive reviews of the literature and the assured validity and internal reliability of the contents. The questionnaire was administered to the students of three universities at Daegu, Kyungpook province. A total of 288 questionnaires were collected for a response rate of 96.0%. The correlations of five constructs and purchasing intention were tested simultaneously using structural equation modeling. Healthy eating practices and attitudes toward organic foods were found to be the determinants which directly influence the intention to purchase organic foods. Health concerns didn't show direct relation to the purchasing intention of organic foods. The hypothesized path from the health concerns to the purchasing intentions was not supported. The results indicated that food choice motives and healthy eating attitudes should be managed to achieve higher behavioral intention to purchase organic foods.

The most students take three meals a day. but most of girl students take less two meals a day or often go without a meal. There are the tendency that boy-students are more satisfied with their meal habits, but they have the health problems caused by irregular meals. There are more boy-students have the regularity of meal habits than girl students. and the former have the more tendency of going without a meal than the later which shows that girl-students have to give more attention to their health management. Their sleeping hours are not enough to recover the tiredness. The higher grads they are in the less time they have to take a rest. The tenth grads students are shown to feel the most serious stress. but have few opportunities to take a medical examination, which means that we have insufficiency of health education as a precautionary measures. Accordingly, it is important that teachers have to provide students with education of good meal habit which is fit to their real life. In modern times, as there are the tendency that more women participate in the social activity. we will reinforce the education that the boy-students may take active part in the health management without distinction of the roles between boy and girls-students.

  • The study investigates how marketing mix factors are mediated by health consciousness and service quality in creating fresh fruit buying decisions of customers in Vietnam. This study employs samples of customers in Vietnam via the survey questionnaire. The authors have used a total of 256 responses that acquired the valid criteria. The compound of data analysis comprises reliability test, validity test, exploratory factor analysis, group analysis and multiple regression analysis to structure the hypothesized model. Respectively, the structural equation model (SEM) is applied to conduct the multiple multivariate equations. By the assumption of causal-effect relationship between independent variables such as marketing mixed factors, and mediator as health consciousness and service quality, which potentially impact on purchase decision; the SEM method is deployed. The results reveal that consumers have paid no attention to the marketing mix factors, but they care much about service quality and health consciousness. Thus, health consciousness and service quality are effective mediators. These findings are new and contribute to the consumer behavior and retail marketing literature. The findings of this study can provide assistance to managers in the given field to understand more easily the consumer behavior about fresh fruits, then improve their own performance.
