동시통화 및 주변 잡음을 고려한 핸즈프리 환경의 반향제거기 (An Acoustic Echo Canceler for Hands-Free Telephony, Considering Double Talk and Environment Noise)

  • 본 논문에서는 핸즈프리 전화통신을 위한 동시통화(double-talk) 및 잡음에 강건한 반향제거 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 반향제거 시스템은 동시통화 상황을 판별하기 위해 마이크 입력신호와 추정한 마이크 입력신호의 분산을 기반으로한 동시통화 검출 알고리즘을 사용하고 반향 경로 추정을 위한 적응 필터는 잔여반향 오차 전력과 AP 알고리즘의 투영차수를 곱하여 입력 신호의 자기공분산 행렬에 더해 정규화시킨 알고리즘을 적용한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 동시통화 및 주변 잡음이 큰 핸즈프리 환경에서 제안하는 방법이 AIC(acoustic interference cancellation) 측면에서 우수함을 보인다.

원위 유경 피판(distant pedicled flap)은 아직도 수부 재건에 유용한가? (Is the Distant Pedicled Flap Still Useful in Reconstruction of the Injured Hand?)

  • Introduction: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the necessity of distant pedicled flap in the treatment of soft tissue defects in the hand. Materials and Methods: Distant pedicled flap was performed in the 25 hands of 25 patients from 2000 to 2004. There were 20 males and 5 females and mean age was 34 years. The surgery was done for electrical burns in 13 patients, flame burns in 8 patients and crushing injuies in 4 patients. Results: We have performed 25 distant pedicled flaps for the coverage of soft tissue defects in the hands when local and free flaps were unavailable. Soft tissue coverages by distant pedicled flap were completely successful in all the 25 hands. No complication such as total flap loss, marginal flap loss and infection occurred. Conclusion: Distant pedicled flaps were very useful alternative method in the treatment of soft tissue defect in the hand.

  • In this research the Co-simulation technique for an electric power steering system with MATLAB/SIMULINK and a full vehicle model with ADAMS has been developed. The dynamic responses of vehicle chassis and steering system are evaluated. Then, a full vehicle model interacted with EPS control is concurrently simulated with an impulsive steering wheel torque input to analyze the stability of 'free control' or hands free motion for Sports Utility Vehicle. This integrated method allows engineers to reduce the prototype testing cost and to shorten the developing period.

Campylobacter장염에 의한 식품위생학적인 고찰 (Hygienic Aspects of Campylobacter Enteritis)

  • Campylobacter jejuni has been recognized as one of the causes of human gastroenteritis. The feces of a variety of reservoir animals contain c. jejuni as commensals in the intestinal tracts, and are fundamental source of contamination. The intestinal organisms contaminate carcasses, equipment tools hands of the processing line workers and air of the processing facility. Once the contamination happens in the slaughterhouses or the meat processing facilities, it is very difficult to keep the carcasses free from the infection of c. jejuni. Various disinfectants are effective in minimizing the number of Campylobacter infections in the processing facilities by washing contaminated carcasses, tools, and hands. Direct contact with infected animals has been incriminated in transmission of infection caused by C. jejuni. Freezing, cooling with dry air and gamma irradiation are an effective way for preserving the meat and eliminating the transmission, but broad and enforced studies are needed for the practical use.

  • A manipulator is operated for the motion of mechanical hands or arms. When a cup including liquid inside is shifted by a manipulator, it is important to know how a free surface of the liquid moves. In this study, non dimensional parameters have been found that affect the rise of the free surface in a cup moving with constant acceleration. The non-dimensional parameters are the dimensionless time, the ratio of inertia effect to viscous effect (the Reynolds number), aspect ratio of the liquid inside the cup and the acceleration ratio (the Froude number). Through this study, the height of the free surface rise in a cup has been predicted and the detailed velocities in the liquid have been examined. Generally, the maximum rise of the free surface is dependent on the Reynolds number and Froude number strongly, but on the aspect ratio weakly. However, the influence of the aspect ratio on the maximum rise of the free surface is not negligible in the range of 10 < Re < 100.

감각 신경을 포함한 견갑 피판술의 결과 (Scapular Free Flap with Sensory Function)

  • Purpose: To report the results and the efficacy of the sensory bearing scapular free flap which is known as non-sensible flap. Materials and Methods: Authors underwent 24 cases of sensory bearing scapular free flap to the hands and feet from March 1995 to November 2002. average follow-up period was six year three months. The used flaps were a ordinary scapular flap in fifteen cases, and a parascapular flap in nine. Sensibility of the flaps were checked every one month. Actual sensory evaluation was mostly depends on objective feeling of the patients. Two point discrimination test was performed in all cases. Results: 23 flaps had good skin circulation after microvascular anastomosis among 24. Objective deep touch sensation were observed about three months later after the operation in three cases, between three and six months in nine. In three case whose results were excellent than others, two point discrimination was 2.7 cm at last follow-up. Most of the sensory recovery is confined in deep touch, temperature and light touch sensation was recovered limitedly in 3 cases during our follow-up period. Conclusion: Authors can propose that sensory bearing free scapular flap was considered as one of useful methods for the reconstruction to hand with soft tissue defect and mutilating hand.

대칭형 자유동작에 의한 3D 아바타 실시간 제어 알고리즘 (An algorithm for real-time control of a 3D avatar by symmetry-formed motions)

  • The market of digital avatar with internet and digital technology is increasing rapidly. The users want to express any free-formed motion of their avatars in the cyber space. The user s motion capturing method as the avatar's motion can express any free-formed motion of the avatar in real-time but the methods are expensive and inconvenient. In this paper, we proposed a new method of expressing any free-formed motion of the avatar in real-time. The proposed method is an algorithm for real-time control of a 3D avatar in symmetry-formed free motion. Specially, the algorithm aims at the motion control of a 3D avatar for online dancing games. The proposed algorithm uses the skeleton character model and controls any one of two hands of the character model by a joystick with two sticks. In the symmetry-formed motion, the position and orientation of one hand can determine the position and orientation of the other hand. And the position and orientation of a hand as an end-effector can determine the pose of the arm by Inverse Kinematics. So the algorithm can control the symmetry-formed free motions of two arms by one joystick with two sticks. In the dance game, the algorithm controls the arm motion by the joystick and the other motion by the motion captured DB.

외측 상완 유리 피판을 이용한 양측 제1수지간 중증 화상 반흔 구축의 재건 (Lateral Arm Free Flap Reconstruction in a Patient with Severe Burn Scar Contracture of the Bilateral First Web Space)

  • An anatomically normal first web space is essential for optimal prehensile movements of the thumb and hand. A 28-year-old woman presented with severe scarring and contractures of the first web space of both hands, following a flame burn injury sustained 25 years prior to presentation. First web space contracture may occur secondary to severe injuries, burns (as observed in our patient), or congenital hand anomalies. A significant amount of additional skin is required to release a severe first web space contracture. Reconstruction of wide areas of contractures using only local flaps is challenging. Among other free flaps used in clinical practice, the thinned lateral arm free flap provides flexible vascularized tissue for reconstruction of the skin after severe first web space contracture release. Reconstruction using lateral arm free flaps facilitated thumb abduction and opposition (which were initially difficult) and improved hand function in our patient.

안드로이드 기반의 블루투스 디바이스 응용 설계 및 구현 (The Android-based Bluetooth Device Application Design and Implementation)

  • 현재, 차량 내에서 사용하는 대부분의 블루투스 핸즈프리 디바이스는 음성 통화, 발신자 식별번호 표시 및 SMS 메시지 표시 등의 전화 서비스 기능을 제공하고 있지만 인터넷 기반의 텍스트 데이터 디스플레이 기능은 지원하지 않고 있다. 최근 들어 차량에서도 SNS와 같은 인터넷 서비스 이용에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있어, 기존의 핸즈프리 기능 이외에도 인터넷 기반의 텍스트 데이터를 표시하는 기능의 개발이 필요하다. 제안하는 블루투스 디바이스 응용은 SNS 메시지 및 이메일 도착 알림 표시 등의 향상된 기능을 포함하며, 구현 플랫폼으로는 대부분의 SNS 응용 프로그램의 동작이 가능하고 소형 임베디드 디바이스에 탑재가 용이한 안드로이드 플랫폼을 사용한다. 제안하는 블루투스 디바이스와 연결되는 스마트폰 또는 태블릿 PC 역시 안드로이드 플랫폼 기반의 단말기이며, 단말 탑재 기능 모듈인 오디오-텍스트 게이트웨이는 안드로이드 앱 형태로 설계된다. 오디오-텍스트 게이트웨이 앱은 SNS 텍스트 데이터 수신시, 메시지 헤더 정보에서 제목, 발신자 정보 등을 추출하여 텍스트 데이터 형태로 ACL(Asynchronous Connection-Oriented) 링크를 통해 블루투스 디바이스로 전송하여 화면에 표시되도록 한다. 일반적으로 안드로이드 플랫폼에 탑재된 블루투스 핸즈프리 또는 헤드셋 프로파일은 오디오 게이트웨이의 기능만을 포함하고 있기 때문에 안드로이드 기반의 블루투스 디바이스에서는 음성 데이터의 스피커 출력이 불가능하다. 따라서 제안하는 블루투스 디바이스 응용은 블루투스 헤드셋 프로파일에서 일반적으로 사용되는 SCO(Synchronous Connection-Oriented) 링크를 통한 음성 데이터 전송 방식 대신에 ACL 링크를 통한 스트리밍 방식을 적용한다.
