전기탈이온 장치를 통한 니켈이온의 이동메커니즘이 이온교환섬유의 전기화학적 특성을 이용하여 조사되었다. 포러스 플러그 모델과 확장된 넌스트-플라크 식이 니켈이온의 이동 현상의 해석을 위해서 적용되었다. 적용된 모델을 통해 전기탈이온 시스템의 성능증가는 이온교환섬유를 통해 변화되는 이동도에 기인하는 것이 아니라, 이온교환매개체의 자체 전도도에 의해 일어나는 전류 유발 효과에 의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 최적의 전기탈이온 공정운전이 최소화된 전기적 재생영역하에서 일어남을 본 연구를 통해 제시되었다.

본 연구는 영산강 수계의 일반적인 수질 특성(pH, DO, 전기전도도, BOD, COD, TN, TP, Chl-$a$, DOC, $UV_{254}$, SUVA)과 3D fluorescence excitation-emission matrix (FEEM) 분석을 통한 자연유기물질(NOM)의 특성을 조사하였다. FEEM은 여기 파장과 방출 파장에서의 형광세기를 이용하여 단백질계 (protein-like), 펄빅계 (fulvic-like) 및 휴믹계(humic-like) 물질을 분류하는데 사용된다. 일반수질 항목(BOD, COD, TN, 전기전도도 및 DOC)는 영산강 수계의 중류에 위치한 광주하수처리장(GJS), 광주천(GJC), 광주2 (GJ2) 등 광주광역시 지역에서 상류 및 하류 지역보다 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 대부분의 지점에서 SUVA값은 3 L $mg^{-1}\;m^{-1}$보다 낮게 나타나 친수성 경향을 보이나, 영산강 상류지역인 담양(DY)에서는 겨울과 가을에 3 L $mg^{-1}\;m^{-1}$ 이상으로 소수성 경향을 보이고 있다. FEEM 조사결과, 대부분의 지점은 펄빅계와 휴믹계 물질이 검출되었으며, 다만 겨울에 광주지역(GJS, GJC, GJ2), 여름에 GJC 지점에서는 단백질계 물질이 검출되었다. 영산강 상류부터 하류지역까지 대부분의 지점에서 형광세기는 일반 수질항목(BOD, COD, TN, DOC) 농도와 유사한 경향을 보이고 있으며, 광주시 지역(GJS, GJC, GJ2)에서 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 이 결과는 대부분의 지점에서 형광지표(Flourescence index, FI)의 경향과도 일치하며, 광주시에서 FI가 높게 나타난 것은 규모가 큰 광주시 하수처리장에서 방류되는 자연유기물질(EfOM)로 인한 미생물 기원 물질이 많기 때문으로 보여진다.

자료의 크기가 방대한 응용 프로그램에서는 메인 메모리와 저장 장치간의 자료 입출력(I/O)이 전체 계산의 주요 병목 요인으로 작용한다. 본 논문은 [2004 한국정보처리학회 추계논문집 제11권 제2호 1139-1142]에서 제안된 그리드(grid) 그래프를 위한 입출력 효율적인 depth-first search (DFS) 알고리즘을 지원하기 위한 입출력 효율적인 영역 구분자를 구하는 알고리즘을 제안 한다. 그 입출력 복잡도 (I/O-Complexity)는 O(Soft(N))이다. 여기서 N=|V|+|E|이고 $sort(N)=\Theta((N/B)log_{M/B}(N/B))$이다.

A three-level inverter is widely used thanks to its excellent performances, but the voltage may fluctuate at the neutral point of the split DC-Link. Neutral point voltage fluctuations cause inverter performance degradation and switching element damage, so the neutral point voltage control is essential. However, the neutral point control can be also limited by modulation index and power factor. This paper analyzes the limitation of the neutral point voltage control due to the limitation of zero-sequence voltage, and suggests a method to determine the region where the PWM has to be changed for a better neutral point control.

In this paper, we propose an active shape image segmentation method for three-dimensional(3-D) medical images using a generation method of the 3-D shape model. The proposed method generates the shape model using a distance transform and a tetrahedron method for landmarking. After generating the 3-D model, we extend the training and segmentation processes of 2-D active shape model(ASM) and improve the searching process. The proposed method provides comparative results to 2-D ASM, region-based or contour-based methods. Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm is effective for a semi-automatic segmentation method of 3-D medical images.

This study examines and analyzes residential environment and factors with partial region of Chungjang-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju based on land register and questionnaire. Consequently, most of residents are in their forties or over and working at downtown or place near it. It is found that rate of their own house is high and they live in the current house over 10 years. Residential factors at downtown area include its convenience, distance to workplace, convenient transportation and easy use of cultural and commercial facilities, but their consciousness of residence shows a low satisfaction with children education, air pollution, noise, parking facilities, green zone for making community, resting place, sunshine, view and privacy.

본 연구에서는 일반 야외 영상 및 항공 시뮬레이션 영상에 대한 지형 분석을 위해 영역 기반 장면 분할 기법을 제시한다. 영역의 분류를 위해 MeanShift 기법을 기반으로 한 표현과 Texton, SIFT, 위치정보를 특징으로 하는 기법을 제안하고 실험을 통해 주요 대상 영역이 분할되는 결과를 보인다. Sowerby 데이터 셋과 Google Earth 데이터로부터 자체적으로 제작한 데이터 셋에 대해 실험하였으며 수풀지형, 초목지형, 도로 등에 대해 분류하였다.

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a simple tunable photonic microwave band-pass filter with high resolution using a reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) and an optical time-delay line. The RSOA is used as a gain medium for generating cross-gain modulation (XGM) effect as well as an optical source. The optical source provides narrow spectral width by self-injection locking the RSOA in conjunction with a partial reflection filter with specific center wavelength. Then, when the RSOA is operated in the saturation region and the modulated recursive signal is injected into the RSOA, the recursive signal is inversely copied to the injection locked optical source due to the XGM effect. Also, the tunability of the passband of the proposed microwave filter is shown by controlling an optical time-delay line in a recursive loop.

광주광역시에 분포하는 보호수는 9분류군 68개체다. 환경백서에 기록된 보호수 가운데 광산구 운남동 신가마을의 떡갈나무는 갈참나무로, 서구 벽진동 벽진마을의 양버들은 왕버들로, 남구 석정동의 소나무는 반송으로 수정되어야 한다. IPCC는 21세기말에 평균기온은 최고 $6.4^{\circ}C$ 및 해수면은 59 cm 상승하므로 북극빙하는 완전히 녹아 없어지고 지구상의 생물종 95%가 멸종위기에 빠질 것으로 경고하고 있다. 광주광역시의 보호수를 통해 기후변화 취약성을 평가하고자 IPCC 예측 결과를 적용해 보면 21세기말 광주광역시 최한월 1월 최저기온은 현재 제주도 최한월 평균최저기온인 $3^{\circ}C$보다 높을 것으로 평가된다. 따라서 21세기 말 광주광역시 지역은 제주도에 분포하는 보호수인 곰솔, 팽나무, 푸조나무 그리고 상록성활엽수가 잘 자랄 것으로 판단되지만 서울과 광주에서 함께 나타나는 보호수인 반송과 느티나무는 취약성을 드러낼 것으로 판단된다.

Purpose : This study was conducted to understand the unforeseen phone calls placed through the 1339 emergency medical communication system by residents of the Gwangju/Jeonnam area during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays. Methods : A descriptive research method was implemented using SPSS to analyze 9,047 reported and received consultation phone calls made during the 2008 Lunar New Year holiday (February 6-10) and the 2008 Chuseok holiday (September 13-15) for frequency and percentages. Results : Among the general characteristics of subjects during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays, an examination of the distribution for gender showed more men than women and the distribution for age showed most subjects were thirties, followed by forties, and finally under ten years of age. According to the status of situational calls during the Lunar New Year holiday most were used for in the following order : providing resource information, misdialing and prank calls, and additional consultations. According to the status of situational calls during the Chuseok holiday most were used for in the following order : providing resource information, additional consultations, misdialing and prank calls. According to region most came from Gwangju Metropolitan City Bukgu, followed by Yeosu, Suncheon, and Mokpo in Jeonnam. According to callers, the majority were non-medical persons. According to time most were made between 9:01 and 12:00, while the fewest were made during 3:01 and 6:00. According to treatment department most were made in the following order : internal medicine, pharmacy, and pediatrics. Most medical resource information provided regarded areas outside the callers location. Conclusion : Emergency medical technician will play a central role in the emergency medical information system in the near future.
