당뇨병 환자를 위한 지역사회 중심 자조관리 프로그램의 효과 (The Effect of a Community-Based Selp-Help Management Program for Patients with Diabetes Mellitus)

  • Purpose: This study was done to assess the effects of a self-help intervention on clinical, lifestyle and psycho-social outcomes in patients with Type II diabetes. Methods: Eligible adults with Type II diabetes were randomly assigned to either the intervention group receiving the diabetes self-help or the control group receiving usual care. Of the 36 patients who completed the study, 15 were in the intervention group and 21 were in the control group. The self-help group consisted of six weekly sessions covering aspects of diabetes self-care and using continuing education, discussion, and structured social activities. Outcomes included changes in glycemic control, knowledge, self-management behaviors, diabetes-related self-efficacy, and health-related quality of life. Analysis of covariance was used to compare outcomes between the groups, adjusting for baseline measures. Results: After the six week intervention, significant improvements from the baseline were observed in the measurements of self-management behaviors, diabetes-related self-efficacy, and health-related quality of life for the intervention group. Conclusion: The findings provide preliminary evidence that a diabetes self-help group intervention can benefit diabetes patients in self-management behaviors, diabetes-related self-efficacy, and health-related quality of life. However, larger longitudinal studies are needed to determine the most efficacious self-management methods to sustain long-term glycemic control and psychological well-being.

  • 본 연구는 Southem Mississippi 주립대학 도서관을 표본 도서관으로 하여 경영 방 식에 따른 업무 만족도 및 도서관 서비스의 효율성에 미치는 영향을 측정 분석하였다. 연구 결과 이들 세변수 사이에 작용하는 상관 관계에는 큰 의미를 부여할 수 없는 것으로 나타났 으나 전문직과 비전문직 사이의 변수는 큰 차이를 나타내고 있다.

  • The present study attempted to explore effective scanning and monitoring in process of risk management on agri-marine products distribution policy. The interest public's group interests clash in accordance with theme for issue on marking policy. For executing a better systematic scanning and monitoring on actual affairs of marketing, selecting information personnel, gathering and analysing information, issue and risk management and their valuation with ongoing and simultaneously. Especially, In order to explore effective scanning and monitoring as a model of risk management, the study attempted to analyze within and without environment of marketing, to analyze issue management strategy, to evaluate issue activity for likelihood and impact, risk cycle analysis, interest public's group concerned, grade of interest public's group threatened(power, legitimacy, willingness), rapport(staying close, credibility, meeting expectation). And the study make an ongoing observation progress of subjects, and the serious subjects need have made an close observation. The study suggested to establish friendly relationship between organization and interest public's group, and to regularly accomplish two-way symmetric communication.

LTE 시스템에서 그룹 기반 M2M 단말 이동성 관리 (Mobility Management of M2M Devices with Grouping in the LTE System)

  • 최근 이동통신의 새로운 미래 사업으로 주목받고 있는 M2M 통신의 특성 중 하나는 기존의 통신에 비해 단말의 수가 상대적으로 많다는 점이다. 따라서 다수의 단말로부터 발생하는 제어 신호가 네트워크에 혼잡을 발생시킬 수 있기 때문에 3GPP 표준화단체에서는 이를 해결하고자 여러 단말을 하나의 그룹으로 관리하여 불필요한 시그널링 오버헤드를 줄이는 방법에 대해 표준화를 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동성이 같은 다수의 M2M 단말들을 하나의 그룹으로 관리하는 그룹 기반 이동성 관리 방법에 대해 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 이동성이 같은 다수의 M2M 단말을 Mobility Management Entity (MME)가 동적으로 그룹핑하고, 그룹을 대표할 그룹 헤더를 선출하여 그룹 헤더가 그룹을 대표하여 Tracking Area Update (TAU)를 수행하게 함으로써 M2M 단말이 개별적으로 TAU를 수행할 때 발생하는 시그널링 오버헤드를 줄이는 것이다. 제안하는 방법이 기존의 개별적으로 TAU를 수행했을 때보다 최대 80% 정도의 시그널링 오버헤드 감소효과를 보인다.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the changing patterns of knowledge related to disease, medication adherence, and self-management and to determine if outcomes were more favorable in the experimental group than in the comparison group through 6 months after providing a web-based self-management intervention. Methods: A non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental design was used and 65 patients with gout, 34 in experimental group and 31 in comparison group, were selected from the rheumatic clinics of two university hospitals. Data were collected four times, at baseline, at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after the intervention. Results: According to the study results, the changing patterns of knowledge and self-management were more positive in the experimental group than in the control group, whereas difference in the changing pattern of medication adherence between two groups was not significant. Conclusion: The results indicate that the web-based self-management program has significant effect on improving knowledge and self-management for middle aged male patients with gout. However, in order to enhance medication adherence, the web-based intervention might not be sufficient and other strategies need to be added.

이동통신 네트워크에서 서로 다른 크기의 위치 영역을 가지는 개별 및 그룹 위치 관리에 기반한 효과적인 위치 관리 기법 (An Efficient Location Management Scheme based on Individual and Group Location Managements with Different Sized Location Areas in Mobile Communication Networks)

  • 그룹 위치 관리에서는 복수의 이동 가입자(MS: mobile subscriber)가 승차하고 있는 운송 시스템(TS: transportation system)이 위치 영역(LA: location area)을 변경시, MS의 개별 위치 등록 없이 TS의 그룹 위치 등록만을 통해 위치 관리를 수행한다. 기존의 연구에서는 대부분 그룹 위치 관리의 LA를 개별 위치 관리의 LA와 동일하게 가정하고 있으나 승차상태의 MS들은 이동 속도나 총 착신호 도착률의 관점에서 하차상태의 MS와 다른 특성을 가지고 있어 동일한 크기의 LA를 가정하는 것은 적절하지 않다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 크기의 LA를 가지는 개별 및 그룹 위치관리에 기반한 효과적인 위치 관리 기법을 제안하고, 그 성능을 무선 구간에서 신호 비용의 측면에서 분석하였다. 분석 결과 제안 기법은 그룹 위치 관리를 위한 적절한 크기의 LA를 선택함으로써 기존 기법보다 우수한 성능을 가지게 됨을 보였다.

  • Plant Configuration Management(CM) is an activity to maintain consistency of design requirements, physical configuration, facility configuration information throughout the life cycle of the plant by systematically managing changes that occur during the plant design and operation process. Conformity between information must be ensured not only in the design stage, but also in the case of design changes in the operation and maintenance stages, and thus a computer system capable of efficiently managing them is required. In particular, in consideration of an application to small and medium-sized domestic plants, a computer system that can support configuration management at a low cost is needed. Accordingly, in this study, a configuration management system has been developed to support the management of plant design information and change procedures in the operation stage of small and medium-sized plants. Here, a case for quantitatively evaluating the effectiveness of the developed system is described.

대학운동선수의 자기관리 구성개념 분석 (Analysis on Constructs Concept of University Athletes' Self Management)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학운동선수들을 대상으로 자기관리 구성개념을 개방형 질문지와 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(Focus Group Interview)의 두 가지 통합연구방법을 통하여 규명하고자 하였다. 자료 수집은 서울 경기 소재 대학에 재학 중인 운동선수 157명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 실시하였으며 또한 대학운동선수 14명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 이에 일련의 연구절차를 통하여 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개방형 질문지의 귀납적 내용분석 결과 대학운동선수들의 자기관리는 생활관리, 훈련관리, 시합관리, 정서관리, 학업관리, 대인관리, 목표(동기)관리, 장비관리로 8가지 일반영역이 도출되었다. 둘째, 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 결과에서는 귀납적 내용분석을 보다 타당성 있게 지지하고, 스포츠 현장 중심적인 면담 사례들이 심도 있게 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과들은 대학운동선수의 성공적인 선수생활을 위한 전략 수립과 대학운동선수들의 자기관리 측정도구 개발에 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

An Analysis of Meal Hygiene Management Status of Children's Foodservice Facilities in Anyang Area - Regarding the Change in the Number of Visits due to COVID-19 -

  • In order to prevent mass infection of food poisoning in children, children's foodservice facilities should always thoroughly manage the hygiene and safety of meals. In this study, the hygiene management levels of daycare centers and kindergartens were compared according to the characteristics of foodservice facilities for four years from 2018, and the effect of the number of visits on the meal hygiene management scores analyzed. The facilities were divided into a small-scale and the group foodservice facilities and was divided into the Sprout group and the Fruit group according to the meal hygiene management level. As a result, the meal hygiene management of the Fruit group was generally better than that of the Sprout group, and the meal hygiene management scores in the second half of each year increased compared to the first half of the year. In addition, it was confirmed that the meal hygiene management scores in 2020, when the number of visits to foodservice facilities decreased due to COVID-19, was the worst compared to other years, and the decrease in the number of visits could affect the level of hygiene management. In conclusion, meal hygiene management of children's foodservice facilities should be applied differently depending on the characteristics of the facilities. Moreover, the number of visits and the hygiene management scores correlated, so it is considered that the appropriate number of visits should be maintained to improve the meal hygiene management level. However, in situations where it is necessary to prevent the spread of mass infectious diseases such as COVID-19, other active measures to replace visits should be proposed.

Relationship Between Companies' Responses to Near-Miss Reports and Turnover Intentions of Workers: A Nationwide Cross-Sectional Study

  • Background: Effective near-miss management is important in preventing workplace accidents. A company's inadequate response to near-miss reports can lead workers to feel insecure and dissatisfied with the company. We investigated the relationship between companies' responses to near-miss reports and turnover intentions of workers. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study using online self-administered questionnaire survey to workers aged ≥20 years in Japan in March 2022. The analysis included 5,071 participants who had nearmiss experiences and reported them to their companies. The independent variable was companies' responses to near-miss reports, classified into three categories: adequate response group, inadequate response group, and no response group. The dependent variable was turnover intentions. We calculated the odds ratio and 95% confidential interval (CI) using multilevel logistic regression analyses nested for industries and adjusted for covariates. Results: Of the 5,071 participants, 3,058 (60.3%) were adequate response group, 1,484 (29.3%) were inadequate response group, and 529 (10.4%) were no response group. In multivariable adjusted model, compared with adequate response group, the odds ratio of inadequate response group and no response group were 1.80 (95% CI: 1.56-2.08) and 2.63 (95% CI: 2.15-3.22), respectively. Conclusion: Our results suggested that there was a relationship between companies' responses to the near-miss reports and turnover intentions of workers. It is important not only to collect near-misses but also to respond appropriately to the reports and provide feedback to workers.
