This study was to identify the effects of home visit intervention program for Holistic Healthcare of multi-culture Couples. It used a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design quasi-experimental research. The subjects of this study consist of 20 couples for experimental and control groups. Multi-cultural couples comprised of foreign women married to Korean men in farm and fishery areas. The research tools were used stress index by SA-3000P (Medicare co. Ltd. KOREA), Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression Scale (CES-D), and World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL-Bref). The experimental group of the wives had lower stress index than the control group, the experimental group of the husband showed lower stress index than the control group, (t=-3.14, p=.002). The wife (t=-3.75, p=.001) and husband (t=-4.20, p=.001) of the experimental group showed lower depression scores than the control group. Both the wife (t=3.86, p=.001) and husband (t=5.28, p=.001) showed higher scores for quality of life compared to the control group. It was found that this holistic healthcare home visit program is an effective program to make improvements on stress, depression and quality of life for multi-cultural couples. Therefore, as the intervention program developed in this study is home visits for the holistic health of multi-cultural couples, and it is judged that it can be implemented at the local social health centers or healthcare centers.

This study was performed to evaluate the effects of fibroblast co-culture on in vitro maturation (IVM) of prepubertal mouse preantral follicles. The intact preantral follicles were obtained from the ovaries of 12-14 day old mice and these were cultured individually in ${\alpha}$-minimal essential medium (${\alpha}$-MEM) supplemented with 5% fetal bovine serum (FBS), $100mIU/m{\ell}$ recombinant follicle stimulating hormone (rFSH), 1% insulin-transferrin-selenium, $100{\mu}g/ml$ penicillin and $50{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ streptomycin as base medium for 12 days. A total of 200 follicles were cultured in base medium co-cultured with mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF) (MEF group) (n=100) or only base medium as control group (n=100). Survival rate of follicles on day 12 of culture were significantly higher in the MEF group of 90.0%, compared with 77.0% of the control group (p=0.021). Follicle diameters on day 6 and 8 of the culture period were significantly larger in the MEF group than those in the control group (p=0.021, p=0.007, respectively). Estradiol levels in culture media on day 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 of the culture period were significantly higher in the MEF group (p=0.043, p=0.021, p=0.006, p<0.001 and p=0.008, retrospectively). Our data suggest that MEF cell co-culture on IVM of mouse preantral follicle increases survival rate and promotes follicular growth and steroid production.
To study the effect of wheat bran and lactic acid producing bacteria (LAB) on the performance of calves, 20 crossbred male cattle calves (day old), distributed into two groups were fed on calf starters containing 50 or 0% maize grain, along with green berseem ad libitum and milk as per body weight. Each group was further divided into two sub groups and one subgroup of each group was supplemented with mixed culture of LAB (Lactobacillus acidophilus L. casei, L. Jugarti). Milk feeding was discontinued after 8 weeks of age. The addition of culture increased (p<0.05) DM intake in calves receiving grainless diet from eighth week to the thirteenth one. There was about 21% higher body weight gain and 14% lower feed : gain ratio in culture supplemented calves. DM digestibility was significantly lower (p<0.05) in calves getting grain without culture. The crude protein NDF and ADF digestibility was higher (p<0.05) in grainless than the grain fed group. No major change on rumen fermentation pattern among different treatments was found. The concentration of total volatile fatty acids (TVFA) and protozoa count was higher (p<0.05) in grain fed group. However, lactic acid concentration was higher and rumen pH was lower due to culture feeding. The incidence as well as severity of diarrhoea was reduced in culture supplemented group. The results indicate that crossbred calves can be reared successfully on grainless diet and berseen fodder. The performance of calves was also improved by LAB supplementation.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational culture (group culture, development culture, rational culture, hierarchical culture) on job satisfaction based on the mediating effect of organizational trust on workers corporations. In particular, in the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction, the mediating effect of organizational trust was demonstrated, which varies by communication control variables. The results of the study of 8,615 workers in the manufacturing, financial, and non-financial industries in HCCP(Human Capital Corporate Panel) are as follows. First of all, the result of research showed that rational culture, group culture, development culture among organizational culture had a positive effect on job satisfaction. But, the hierarchical culture had a negative influence on job satisfaction. Second, rational culture, group culture, development culture among organization culture had a positive effect on organizational trust. But, hierarchical culture had a negative influence on organizational trust. Third, in the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction, the partial mediating effect of organizational trust was verified. In other words, although organizational culture directly affects job satisfaction, it indirectly affects job satisfaction through organizational trust. Fourth, it showed a significant moderating effect of communication between organization trust and job satisfaction. In other words, it was found that the group with high organizational trust in the relationship between organizational trust and job satisfaction had higher job satisfaction than the group without it. Finally, in the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction, the mediating effect of organizational trust was demonstrated, which varies by communication control variables. In other words, the indirect effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction through organizational trust is higher in the group with high communication capabilities. Through discussion and conclusion, the academic and practical implications, limitations, and research directions of this study were presented.

Schwann cell, one of important components of peripheral nervous system, interact with neurons to mutually support the growth and replication of embryonal nerves and to maintain the different functions of adult nerves. The Ara-C, known as an antimitotic agent, have been used to have high effectiveness in eliminating fibroblasts during Schwann cell culture period. This enrichment effect is also known to be cummulative with each successive pulse of Ara-C applied and is due to a progressive loss of fibroblasts. But the cytotoxicity by Ara-C is also cummulative and noticeable over the period. To determine the most effective application time and interval of Ara-C in the Schwann cell culture, we observed the Schwann cell purity and density with the Ara-C treatment in plain and three-dimensional culture from dorsal root ganglion of new born rat. By culturing dispersed dorsal root ganglia, we can repeatedly generate homogenous Schwann cells, and cellular morphology and cell count with mean percentages were evaluated in the plain culture dishes and in the immunostainings of S-100 and GFAP in the three-dimensional culture. The Ara-C treated cultures showed a higher Schwann cell percentage ($31.0%{\pm}8.09%$ in P4 group to $65.5%{\pm}24.08%$ in P2 group), compared with that obtained in the abscence of Ara-C ($17.6%{\pm}6.03%$) in the plain culture after 2 weeks. And in the three-dimensional culture, S-100 positive cells increased to $56.22%{\pm}0.67%$ and GFAP positive cells to $66.46%{\pm}1.83%$ in G2 group (p<0.05), higher yield than other groups with Ara-C application. Therefore, we concluded that the Ara-C treatment is effective for the proliferation of Schwann cells contrast to the fibroblasts in vitro culture, and the first application after 24 hours from cell harvesting and subsequent 2 pulse treatment (P2 group in plain culture and G2 group in three-dimensional culture) was more effective than other application protocols.

The purpose of this study is to construct a personality strength-based group counseling program that can have a positive effect on the happiness of pop culture and arts people and to verify its effectiveness. To this end, 16 artists from entertainment agencies and art high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were recruited and assigned to experimental and control groups, and pre- and post-examinations were conducted on both groups as personality strengths and happiness tests. In order to verify the effectiveness of the program, the experimental group conducted a total of eight personality strength programs once a week and 60 minutes per session, and the control group was ignored. As a result of the study, the personality strength and happiness of the group participating in the program were significantly improved compared to the control group, showing that training to strengthen personality strength can lead a happier life by promoting the happiness of youth pop culture artists. This is meaningful in that it has created a starting point for managing the mental health of pop culture subjects.

This study was performed to develop a group counseling program for the South Koreans and the North Korean defectors to identify mutual cultural characteristics and personal traits, and to acquire adaptation capacity for the other's culture and interpersonal relationship. And then we validated the effect of this group program. This program was based on the existing program even if that was not validated through research work. Actually this program was for encouraging the South Koreans and the North Korean defectors to acquire interpersonal ability through mutually dependent and cooperative work based on the equal status naturally and to adjust themselves to corresponding culture. Each session continued for 1.5 hour per week. And the sessions were done for 4 weeks. This research was analysed, and the results were compared with control group's results. The results showed that treatment group revealed significantly positive outcomes than control group. But, five participants among the North Korean defectors were dropped out in the course. So North Korean defectors' credibility got lowered.

This study investigates the Korean loungewear market and the traditional culture values of consumers related to loungewear to examine the preference of Korean traditional details, sewing techniques in loungewear design, and purchasing intentions. A survey method was used in this study. A total of 230 self-administered questionnaires were obtained from female consumers and 214 data sets were used for analysis. For the analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and ANOVA were executed with PASW Statistics 18.0 and a structural equation model was estimated by Amos 18.0. The results are as follows. Traditional culture values were classified into two dimensions, traditional succession value and traditional design preference value. In the structure equation model, the traditional design preference value had a significant effect on the preference and the traditional culture succession value had significant effect on purchase intention. The results proved that the preference on loungewear with Korean traditional elements is closely related to purchase intention. Consumer groups were divided into three groups by traditional culture values factor; traditional culture succession group, traditional design preference group, and traditional culture indifference group. Style preference images showed significant differences in relation to traditional culture groups. This study is for use as fundamental knowledge on traditional loungewear brand development and strategy planning by offering specific traditional culture aspects associated with preference and purchase intentions.
The purposes of this study were to describe the effects of perception of organizational culture type and job satisfaction on university hospital nurses' innovation behavior. A survey was conducted with 418 respondents working in a university hospital in Cheonan City. Organizational culture types (developmental, group, rational, hierarchical), job satisfaction and individual characteristics were surveyed. The relationships between each variable and the innovation behavior were analyzed by univariate analysis and the independent effects of these variables were examined with multiple regression. The mean score of general employees innovation behavior was 3.33 (p=.58) and that of managers was 3.53(p=.64). For general employees, there were statistically significant differences in innovation behavior according to education level. For managers, there were statistically significant differences in innovation behavior for education level, marital status and duration of work. On multiple regression analysis, the factors affecting innovation behavior of general employees were developmental culture( =.297, ${\beta}$ p<.01), group culture (${\beta}$=.184, p<.01) and job satisfaction(${\beta}$=.148, p<.05). And the factors affecting innovation behavior of managers were developmental culture(${\beta}$=.181, p<.01), rational culture(${\beta}$=.171, p<.01) and group culture(${\beta}$=.408, p<.01), In conclusion, the results of this study show that organizational culture and job satisfaction influence hospital nurses'innovation behavior.
