In this paper, we propose a dynamic-based compression system by creating mosaic background and transmitting the change information. A dynamic mosaic of the background is progressively integrated in a single image using the camera motion information. For the camera motion estimation, we calculate affine motion parameters for each frame sequentially with respect to its previous frame. The camera motion is robustly estimated on the background by discriminating between background and foreground regions. The modified block-based motion estimation is used to separate the back-ground region.
Most spatial data acquisition systems employing a set of frame cameras may have suffered from their small fields of view and poor base-distance ratio. These limitations can be significantly reduced by employing an omni-directional camera that is capable of acquiring images in every direction. Bundle Block Adjustment (BBA) is one of the existing georeferencing methods to determine the exterior orientation parameters of two or more images. In this study, by extending the concept of the traditional BBA method, we attempt to develop a mathematical model of BBA for omni-directional images. The proposed mathematical model includes three main parts; observation equations based on the collinearity equations newly derived for omni-directional images, stochastic constraints imposed from GPS/INS data and GCPs. We also report the experimental results from the application of our proposed BBA to the real data obtained mainly in urban areas. With the different combinations of the constraints, we applied four different types of mathematical models. With the type where only GCPs are used as the constraints, the proposed BBA can provide the most accurate results, ${\pm}5cm$ of RMSE in the estimated ground point coordinates. In future, we plan to perform more sophisticated lens calibration for the omni-directional camera to improve the georeferencing accuracy of omni-directional images. These georeferenced omni-directional images can be effectively utilized for city modelling, particularly autonomous texture mapping for realistic street view.
In this study, sewer backfill material was developed to prevent sewer damage and ground subsidence. Laboratory test was performed in the field of CA replacement ratio, accelerator type and replacement ratio and W/M. The compression strength of backfill material was 0.55~0.64MPa below in W/M 70% and 0.20MPa over W/B 80%. Ice block was used to simulate the ground cavity and subsidence caused by sewer damage in application study. The existing sand compaction and the new backfill material was comparative estimated in field. The ground settlement of cross section was 23.4cm and that of longitudinal section was 27cm in sand compaction section, but the ground had not sunk in backfill material section.

Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of processing of barley on the growth performance and ileal and fecal digestibility of growing pigs. In Exp. 1, a total of 20 cannulated pigs (10.80 kg BW) were allotted to four treatments. Treatments were coarse ground barley as a control (CON), finely ground barley (FINE), extruded barley (EXT) and enzyme supplemented coarse ground barley (ENZ). In Exp. 2, a total of 100 growing pigs (36.50 kg BW) were allocated to the same treatments in completely randomized block design based on sex and body weight. In the first trial, pigs fed extruded barley showed significantly higher crude protein digestibility over pigs fed finely ground barley (p < 0.05). Pigs fed finely ground barley generally showed lower nutrients digestibility. Extrusion and ${\beta}$-glucanase supplementation showed a trend to improve nutrients digestibility. However, fine grinding rather reduced nutrients digestibility. The similar trend was found in the digestibility of essential amino acids. Fine grinding of barley significantly reduced amino acids digestibility. Extrusion and enzyme supplementation were found to improve amino acids digestibility of barley in growing pigs. In the growth trial, pigs fed extruded barley grew significantly faster than any other processed barley fed pigs. And extrusion of barley significantly improved feed/gain of pigs (p < 0.05). Fine grinding of barley and enzyme supplementation did not improve growth performance of pigs. In conclusion, fine grinding and enzyme supplementation does not appear to be an economical feed processing for growing pigs when barley is employed in the diets, while extrusion can be recommended as an effective feed processing technique for barley.

To investigate the status of irrigation water use and the degree of repeated use of irrigation water, observations for water balance analysis were made during the irrigation periods in 1986 and 1987 crop year. The total area of studied site is 1,441 ha. The site is a major portion of Jedaecheon basin which is located in Bubuk-myeon, Miryang-gun, Gyeongnam Province. The studied area was subdivided into six small blocks. The water balance analysis for these subdivided blocks were carried out considering characteristics of each block. Obtained results are as follow: 1.In mountainous sloppy paddy area(less than 7% slope), the surface inflow was 5A mm/day in average that is one third of the surface inflow into plain paddy area ; 16.7 mm/day. 2.The surface inflows at the vegetative stage and the ripening stage were 15.5 mm/day and 10.4 mm/day, respectively. Those figures were larger than the actual consumptive use at respective same stages ; 13.3 mm/day and 9.2 mm/day, respectively. Whereas, the surface inflow at generative stage was 12.5 mm/day which was less than 14.0 mm/day ; the actual consumptive use. 3.The range of the variation of water storage term was 1 mm/day. This means that there were no change in depth of ponded water on paddy fields. The relationship between the variation of water storage(AS) and the variation of ground water table(H) could be expressed as follow: : AS=0.14H+0.26 4.The ground water inflow: into the transition region ; paddy fields which are located continuously from the mountainous area to the plain area, was larger than the out flow from this region, in general. Rowever, in the plain region where the ground water utilization was predominant, the ground water outflow from this region was larger than inflow: to this region. The relationship between the ground water flow(G2- G1) and the consumptive use in large paddy area(D1-D2) could be expressed as follow: (G2-G1) =0.95(D1-D2) -3.79
Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) is added to gasoline to enhance the octane number of gasoline, tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) is major degradation intermediate of MTBE in environment, and benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene (BTEX) are also major constituents of gasoline. In this study, a simplified headspace analysis method was adapted for simultaneous determination of MTBE, TBA and BTEX in ground water samples. The sample 5.0 mL and 2 g NaCl were placed in a 10 mL vial and the solution was spiked with fluorobenzene as an internal standard and sealed with a cap. The vial was placed in a heating block at 85 $^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. The detection limits of the assay were 0.01 ${\mu}$g/L for MTBE and BTEX, and 0.02 ${\mu}$g/L for TBA. The method was used to analyze 110 ground water samples from various regions in Korea, and to survey the their background concentration in ground water in Korea. The samples revealed MTBE concentrations in the range of 0.01 - 0.45 ${\mu}$g/L (detection frequency of 57.3%), TBA concentrations in the range of 0.02 - 0.08 ${\mu}$g/L (detection frequency of 5.5%), and total BTEX concentrations in the range of 0.01 - 2.09 ${\mu}$g/L (detection frequency of 87.3%). The developed method may be used when simultaneously determining the amount of MTBE, TBA and BTEX in water.
The vegetated porous pavement can be installed as an alternative way to replace the traditional pavement, which contributes less to the water circulation system in the urban area. This study aims to an investigation based on the shadow and pressure of the vehicle system, where the turfgrass get grown and the green block get constructed on the grassy parking lot. This study might achieve these conclusions, in the case of use 'green block' makes grass parking lot, plant a kind of 'zenith' and takes sod thickness 40 mm are more efficient for turfgrass growth in the early times. In the case of parking over 8 hours in a day, after 5 weeks turfgrass growth would come into reduce. So over 4 hours parking and after 9 weeks, we need consider to setting up green block in grassy parking lot. The grassy ground would get pressured by the vehicles' load and it would bring into some damage due to the load after 3 weeks. So we should put the grass's growth root point under the designed a top of 'green block' level. When the vehicle amounts and parking density is in a low level, it could be an environmentally friendly product.

Many electric poles in the softground have been collapsed due to external load such as typhoon wind load. In this study, the location, numbers and depths of acnchor blocks as well as depth of poles were varied to find horizontal displacement of poles through pull-out tests. The 10 types of tests were performed, and lateral displacements showed differences depending on location, numbers and depth of poles. The bending is generated in the upper part at the initial load, but it moved to central part as load increased. The maximum horizontal displacement decreased to 1/1.6 at -0.5[m] depth of anchor block and 1.3[m] additional laying depth of poles into ground. Two anchor blocks of poles are better than one acnchor block system, but one anchor block system is recommended because difference of displacement is not too large, and constructibilty is bad due to increase of excavation for anchor blocks.
In the case of harbor structures, it is important to understand the characteristics of structures that are subjected to repeated loads as they are structures that receive repetitive loads such as wave pressure as well as static loads. In this study, the lateral resistance according to the pile embeded depth of the block breakwater reinforced with piles by cyclic lateral loads was obtained through an model experiment. As the depth of embedment of the pile increased, the lateral resistance showed a tendency to increase. As the load was repeated, the gradient of the lateral resistance gradually appeared to be gentle. The bending moment of the rear pile was larger than that of the front pile. The bending moment of piles in the ground was similar to that when the pile head was free in the cohesionless of Broms (1964).

There has been a strong demand for low altitude UAV development in rapid mapping not only to acquire high resolution image with much more low cost and weather independent, compared to satellite surveying or traditional aerial surveying, but also to meet many needs of the aerial photogrammetry. Especially, efficient geocoding of UAV imagery is the key issue. Contrary to high UAV potential for civilian applications, the technology development in photogrammetry for example direct georeferencing is in the early stage and it requires further research and additional technical development. In this study, two approaches are supposed for automatic geocoding of UAV still images by simple affine transformation and block adjustment of affine transformation using minimal ground control points and also evaluated the applicability and quality of geometric model compared to geocoded images generated by commercial S/W.
