도시부 경로자료를 이용한 통행의 공간적 규칙성 분석 (Analysis of Spatial Trip Regularity using Trajectory Data in Urban Areas)

  • 최근 정보통신기술의 발달로 다양한 통행 정보 수집이 용이해지면서, 신규 교통정보 생성에 대한 연구가 주목받고 있다. 그 중 수요 및 교통량에 대한 추정 및 예측은 교통 운영에 필수적인 주요 지표 중 하나로, 특정 지점 혹은 구간의 통행 패턴이 반복됨을 전제로 한다. 기존에는 이러한 통행 규칙성을 증명하기 위해 설문 방식을 사용하였으나, 해당 방식은 높은 비용과 응답자 기억에 의존하는 응답으로 높은 정확도를 확보하기에는 한계가 있었다. 최근 ETC시스템, 스마트카드 등의 방법으로 통행데이터 수집이 용이해지면서, 다양한 시각에서 통행 규칙성을 규명하고자 하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 대구광역시의 대규모 경로형 데이터를 분석하여 개별통행자가 여러 날에 걸쳐 공간적으로 유사한 통행사슬을 형성하는 것을 확인하였다. 이를 위하여 공간적 통행 유사성을 새롭게 정의하며, 서열정렬 알고리즘인 Dynamic Time Warping을 이용하여 일별 통행사슬 간 공간적 차이를 산정한다. 또한 산출된 공간적 통행 규칙성을 통해 고정적 교통수요 추정의 지표 및 교통서비스로의 활용방안을 논 하고자 한다.

Irreversible luminescence from graphene quantum dots prepared by the chain of oxidation and reduction process

  • Recently, graphene quantum dots (GQDs) have attracted great attention due to various properties including cost-effectiveness of synthesis, low toxicity, and high photostability. Nevertheless, the origins of photoluminescence (PL) from GQDs are unclear because of extrinsic states of the impurities, disorder structures, and oxygen-functional groups. Therefore, to utilize GQDs in various applications, their optical properties generated from the extrinsic states should be understood. In this work, we have focused on the effect of oxygen-functional groups in PL of the GQDs. The GQDs with nanoscale and single layer are synthesized by employing graphite nanoparticles (GNPs) with 4 nm. The series of GQDs with different amount of oxygen-functional groups were prepared by the chain of chemical oxidation and reduction process. The fabrication of a series of graphene oxide QDs (GOQDs) with different amounts of oxygen-contents is first reported by a direct oxidation route of GNPs. In addition, for preparing a series of reduced GOQDs (rGOQDs), we employed the conventional chemical reduction to GOQDs solution and controlled the amount of reduction agents. The GOQDs and rGOQDs showed irreversible PL properties even though both routes have similar amount of oxyen-functional groups. In the case of a series of GOQDs, the PL spectrum was clearly redshifted into blue and green-yellowish color. On the other hand, the PL spectrum of rGOQDs did not change significantly. By various optical measurement such as the PL excitation, UV-vis absorbance, and time-resolved PL, we could verify that their PL mechanisms of GOQDs and rGOQDs are closely associated with different atomic structures formed by chemical oxidation and reduction. Our study provides an important insights for understanding the optical properties of GQDs affected by oxygen-functional groups. [1]

  • In recent days, the study on hybridization of the heavy-duty is going on, actively. Especially, the improvement of fuel economy can be maximized in the intra-city bus because it drives the fixed route. For developing the hybrid electric intra-city bus, optimized control strategy which is possible to be applied with real vehicle is necessary. If the real-time control strategy is developed based on the HILS, it is possible to verify the real-time ability and fail-safety function which has the vehicle stay in safe state when the functional errors are occurred. In this study, the HILS system of series hybrid electric intra-city bus is developed to verify the real time control strategy and the fail-safety functions. The main objective of the paper is to build the HILS system for verifying the control strategy (rule-based control) which is implemented to reflect the Dynamic Programming results and fail-safety functions.

반응존 공법 적용을 위한 나노영가철의 대수층 내 이동 특성에 관한 연구 (Characterization of the Transport of Zero-Valent Iron Nanoparticles in an Aquifer for Application of Reactive Zone Technology)

  • Characteristics of the transport of zero-valent iron nanoparticles (nZVI) in an aquifer were investigated to evaluate an application of nZVI-based reactive zone technology. Main flow direction of groundwater was north. Preferential flow paths of the groundwater identified by natural gradient tracer test were shown northeast and northwest. The highest groundwater velocity was $4.86{\times}10^{-5}$ m/s toward northwest. When the breakthrough curves obtained from the gravity injection of nZVI were compared with the tracer curves, the transport of nZVI was retarded and retardation factors were 1.17 and 1.34 at monitoring wells located on the northeast and northwest, respectively. The ratios of the amount of nZVI delivered to the amount of tracer delivered at the two wells mentioned above were 24 and 28 times greater than that of the well on the main flow direction, respectively. Attachment efficiency based on a filtration theory was $4.08{\times}10^{-2}$ along the northwest direction that was the main migration route of nZVI. Our results, compared to attachment efficiencies obtained in other studies, demonstrate that the mobility of nZVI was higher than that of results reported in previous studies, regardless of large iron particle sizes of the current study. Based on distribution of nZVI estimated by the attachment efficiency, it was found that nZVI present within 1.05 m from injection well could remove 99% of TCE within 6 months.

  • Fibrinopurulent peritonitis and abdominal abscesses associated with Streptococcus (S.) equi subsp. zooepidemicus is reported in a 1-year-old female thoroughbred horse. The horse died after showing 5-day history of the cold, severe abdominal distention, abdominal breathing, hyperthermia, anorexia, and loss of intestinal sound. At necropsy, several liters of turbid yellowish green fluid were seen in the abdominal cavity. Yellowish creamy and fibrinous or bloody materials were presented on the serosa of various abdominal organs that were intensively adhered with each other. Spleen and mesenteric lymph node were remarkably enlarged. Affected lobes of the lung showed severe congestion, hemorrhage and doughy consistency. Histologically, the lung showed hemorrhagic pneumonia with diffuse congestion and edema. Severe diffuse fibrinopurulent peritonitis with Gram-positive bacterial cocci and adjacent fibrosis were showed in the serosa of various abdominal organs such as liver, spleen, stomach, and intestine. And multifocal abscess pouches were presented in the granulation tissue of abdominal viscera. S. equi subsp. zooepidemicus was isolated from the peritoneal swab, abdominal organs, and lung. Hematogenous dissemination of bacteria from hemorrhagic pneumonia is proposed as the route of infection in this case.

Green Synthesis of Platinum Nanoparticles by Electroreduction of a K2PtCl6 Solid-State Precursor and Its Electrocatalytic Effects on H2O2 Reduction

  • A new synthesis route for Pt nanoparticles by direct electrochemical reduction of a solid-state Pt ion precursor ($K_2PtCl_6$) is demonstrated. Solid $K_2PtCl_6$-supported polyethyleneimine (PEI) coatings on the surface of glassy carbon electrode were prepared by simple mixing of solid $K_2PtCl_6$ into a 1.0% PEI solution. The potential cycling or a constant potential in a PBS (pH 7.4) medium were applied to reduce the solid $K_2PtCl_6$ precursor. The reduction of Pt(IV) began at around -0.2 V and the reduction potential was ca. -0.4 V. A steady state current was achieved after 10 potential cycling scans, indicating that continuous formation of Pt nanoparticles by electrochemical reduction occurred for up to 10 cycles. After applying the reduction potential of -0.6 V for 300 s, Pt nanoparticles with diameters ranging from $0.02-0.5{\mu}m$ were observed, with an even distribution over the entire glassy carbon electrode surface. Characteristics of the Pt nanoparticles, including their performance in electrochemical reduction of $H_2O_2$ are examined. A distinct reduction peak observed at about -0.20 V was due to the electrocatalytic reduction of $H_2O_2$ by Pt nanoparticles. From the calibration plot, the linear range for $H_2O_2$ detection was 0.1-2.0 mM and the detection limit for $H_2O_2$ was found to be 0.05 mM.

다중 광섬유 링크를 갖는 IP over WDM 망에서 에너지 효율 향상을 위한 동적 경로 배정 및 파장 할당 알고리즘 (Dynamic Routing and Wavelength Assignment Algorithm to Improve Energy Efficiency in IP over WDM Network with Multifiber)

  • 최근 인터넷 트래픽의 폭발적인 증가에 따라 다수의 광섬유 링크를 사용하는 광 네트워크에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 네트워크에서의 트래픽 증가는 네트워크 장비의 에너지 소모를 증가시키는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 다중 광섬유로 구성된 대용량 IP over WDM 네트워크에서 에너지 절감을 위한 동적 경로 배정 및 파장 할당 (Dynamic RWA) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 에너지 효율 향상을 위하여 V-like 함수를 이용한다. V-like 함수는 사용 파장 수에 따라 광섬유의 비용을 결정하여 네트워크의 에너지 소모와 블록킹 확률을 줄일 수 있도록 한다. 이를 기반으로 다수의 광섬유로 구성된 링크의 비용과 자원할당을 위한 광섬유를 결정한다. 마지막으로 파장단위의 그래프로 구성된 계층 그래프를 이용하여 에너지 소모를 줄일 수 있도록 경로배정 및 파장할당을 수행한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 성능평가를 위하여 OPNET Modeler를 이용한 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 연결 요청 당 평균 전력 소모와 블록킹 확률 관점에서 기존 방식과 성능을 비교하고 분석한다.

  • Recently, with oil price jumping and environmental issues, Green ship is paid deep attention to by ship owner, operator, builder, class and government. Fuel efficiency and reduction of $CO_2$ emissions are expected to have a strong influence on the design and operation of merchant ships. Many ship owners and operators are seeking the more economic method by the best operating route and the application of reliable and effective energy saving devices. With the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) in 2013 attention will more than ever be focused at achieving maximum fuel economy in the hydrodynamic design of hull forms, their appendages and propellers. IMO requirements for $CO_2$ emission for ships will now be implemented for vessels ordered from 1st January 2013. So far, a lot of new idea and patents have been proposed, tested, claimed and applied for various kinds of ship type. This paper shows numerical and experimental work related to a study on a energy saving devices particularly for fuller ship such as merchant vessel of Tanker and Bulker. From the bare hull wake measurements, typical upper/lower asymmetry of hull wake at the propeller disk was found. The pre-swirl duct have been designed and reviewed to recover the loss of propeller running in that condition. The general function of the pre-swirl duct was set to work against this asymmetry of wake and generate pre-swirled flow into the propeller against the propeller rotating direction.

건설단계에서의 철도시설물 온실가스저감방안연구 (A Research on the Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction of Railway Structure Construction Stage)

  • 철도시설물 유형별 전과정 온실가스 배출량에 관한 연구결과를 분석한 결과 철도건설에 사용된 콘크리트가 주요 발생원임을 확인하였다. 친환경설계전략(ECODESIGN PILOT)을 활용하여 철도시설물의 제품유형을 분석한 결과에서도 철도시설물은 재료집약제품으로 분류되었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 건설재료측면에서 철도시설물의 온실가스배출량을 저감하는 방안을 도출하고 이를 철도현장에 시범, 적용함으로써 그 저감효과를 분석하였다. 연구에서 고려한 철도시설물의 온실가스 배출저감기술은 고로슬래그를 이용하여 시멘트 사용량을 저감한 친환경 콘크리트와 콘크리트 구조물의 수명을 보장할 수 있는 콘크리트 열화방지제이다. 그리고 설계단계에서 철도노선에 대한 온실가스배출량을 사전에 평가하고 예측할 수 있는 저탄소 철도노선 평가 및 설계기술이다.

  • 기후온난화 현상이 전 세계적으로 이슈화 되고 있으며 이에 관한 협정 및 비준이 행하여지고 있다. 우리 나라의 경우 포스트 교토의정서가 발효되는 2013년부터 의무감축 대상국에 포함될 것으로 확실시 되고 있다. 이에 따라 산업 전반에 걸친 기후변화협약 종합대책을 마련해야 하고 산업별로 대응방안 및 전략을 수립하여야 한다. 특히 항만, 해운 및 항공에 대한 부분에 $CO_2$ 저감이 이슈화되고 있으며 각국들은 대응정책을 수립하였다. 하지만 우리나라에서는 이런 부분에 대한 대응정책이 수립되지 않고 있다. 또한 국내에서의 화물 운송에 따른 $CO_2$ 배출 통계도 구축되어 있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 항만에서 목적지까지 이동하는 화물의 이송경로 및 이송 장비에 따른 $CO_2$ 배출량을 추정하고자 한다.
