Certified-care-assistants are the primary care workers for these older adults. This cross-sectional descriptive study compared the factors influencing care behaviors among Korean and non-Korean certified-care-assistants in Korea. Methods: Participants, 113 Korean certified-care-assistants and 71 non-Korean certified-care-assistants, completed a survey questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed to assess dementia knowledge, attitude and care behaviors toward older adults with dementia. To determine the differences in these two groups, t-test was used. A stepwise multiple regression was performed to identify factors related to care behavior. Results: Significant differences in dementia knowledge, attitude and care behavior toward older adults with dementia emerged between Korean and non-Korean certified-care-assistants. Factors influencing care behavior varied by group. Dementia knowledge and education level were the significant factors of care behaviors in Korean certified-care-assistants, whereas attitude toward older adults with dementia was the significant factor in non-Korean certified-care-assistants. Conclusion: Findings indicate that different factors influence the care behavior of two groups. These findings can be utilized to develop certified-care-assistants' training curriculum that needs to be tailored by nationality to improve the quality of care for older adults with dementia.

  • Education emphasizes problem-solving skills based on convergent thinking power in an era of rising uncertainty and rapid progress. This paper proactively designed e-Learning team teaching convergence liberal arts courses for prospective teachers by these social needs. It analyzed the empirical effects on the operation of the subjects to foster future talent who can converge and apply knowledge in various fields. The curriculum consisted of professors of mathematics, practical Arts, computer, and education, and was operated to convey convergent knowledge of information technology and humanities, and consisted of 15 liberal arts courses at J University. Besides, textbooks and teaching materials were also developed by the faculty. As a result of the primary research, prospective teachers who took the course generally showed high satisfaction with the class, especially for the faculty. The students' overall convergent thinking ability has increased to a statistically significant level (p<.01), and the students' major has been found to be irrelevant. On the other hand, it can be seen that communication, content convergence, and caring factors, excluding creativity factor, have all risen to a significant level.

  • Holography is a human-friendly technology that can express 3D stereoscopic information without eye fatigue. You can experience the mysterious features of light directly and indirectly, and you can also experience the principles of 3D imaging, which makes it a very good curriculum. As such, although holography is very effective in teaching students optics and 3D imaging technology, it has not yet been systematically established. The reason is the cost burden such as expensive equipment and laboratories, and the lack of easily accessible educational equipment. We implemented a portable holographic recording system to solve this problem. In addition, since silver halides, which use harmful chemicals, are not used in the process of developing the recording medium, and photopolymers are used, it is possible to educate not only the general public but also young students. In order to improve the completeness of the recorded result, the mechanism part, light source, and recording medium part of the production system were newly constructed to complement all the existing problems. The proposed system will make holography easily accessible to many people in a variety of fields, not just education. Through the interesting experience of various features and principles of light and the production of holograms with high satisfaction, we hope to popularize them in various fields such as education.

  • Evaluation as learning is important for the learner competency test, and the applicable method is studied. Assessment is the role of diagnosing the current learner's status and facilitating learning through appropriate feedback. The system is insufficient to enable process-oriented evaluation in small educational institute. Focusing on becoming familiar with the AI through experience can end up simply learning how to use the tools or just playing with them rather than achieving ultimate goals of AI education. In a previous study, the experience way of AI education with PLAY model was proposed, but the assessment stage is insufficient. In this paper, we propose ELAS (Experiential K-12 AI education Learning Assessment System) for small educational institute. In order to apply the Assessment factor in in this system, the AI-factor is selected by researching the goals of the current SW education and AI education. The proposed system consists of 4 modules as Assessment-factor agent, Self-assessment agent, Question-bank agent and Assessment -analysis agent. Self-assessment learning is a powerful mechanism for improving learning for students. ELAS is extended with the experiential way of AI education model of previous study, and the teacher designs the assessment through the ELAS system. ELAS enables teachers of small institutes to automate analysis and manage data accumulation following their learning purpose. With this, it is possible to adjust the learning difficulty in curriculum design to make better for your purpose.

  • This study aims to derive suggestions to help develop Hanbok education in the future by examining its current status in domestic educational institutions in light of rising social demand for Hanbok in the era of fashion Hanbok. We assessed the Hanbok curriculum in educational institutions nationwide, including universities and specialized institutes, and conducted in-depth interviews to understand the operational status of Hanbok-specialized education. We found that the demand for education on production functions is decreasing, while the demand for in-depth education on the history of Korean costume and education integrating Hanbok with design and marketing is increasing. We also found that, in the case of universities, which play an important role in Hanbok research and education, professional research and training are shrinking in graduate schools, whereas Hanbok subjects are being maintained and new subjects are being taught in undergraduate courses. In the fashion Hanbok era, it has been suggested that Hanbok education needs to converge with design and marketing education, beyond teaching only Hanbok. In addition, the necessity of expanding liberal arts education within universities to meet social demand was proposed, and online education was expected to help spread knowledge.
