  • Recently, ubiquitous computing paradigm considers as a tool for making innovation and competitive strength in manufacturing industry like other industries. Particularly, the location-based service that enables us to trace real-time logistics make effective management of schedules for inventory control, facilities and equipments, jobs planning, and facilitate the processes of information management and intelligence, which relate with ERP and SCM in organizations. Our study tries to build the location-based system for products of semiconductors in manufacturing place and suggests the good conditions and effective tracking procedures for positions of products. Our study show that the system is good for the saving of time in tracking products, however, it has to be improved in terms of accuracy. The study verifies the application of RFID technology in manufacturing industry and suggests the improvement of photograph process through RFID. In addition, our research introduces the future operation of FAB in semiconductors' processes that relate with real-time automation and RFID in manufacturing company.

  • 현재 통계학과의 수가 급격히 감소하고 있으며 우수한 학생들의 유치가 매우 어려워지는 상황에서 본 연구에서는 통계학과의 발전방향에 대해 다양한 관점에서 연구해 보았다. 특히 외환부족 사태 이후 교직에 대한 선호도가 높아지고 또 7차 교육과정에서 통계 교육이 강화되는 시점에서 통계학에 대한 교직과정을 확대하는 방안 또한 알아보았다. 어느 하나 쉬운 것이 없지만 모두의 다양한 노력이 전제되어야만 더 나은 미래를 만들어 갈 수 있을 것이다.

외식업 경영주의 직업만족도 및 경영의식 조사연구 - 경남지 역을 중심으로 - (Job Satisfaction and Business Attitude of Restaurant Owners - Focused Mainly in the Gyeone-nam Area -)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the job satisfaction and business attitudes of restaurant owners in order to explore solutions for improving restaurant management. The results were as follows : 1) The motive for starting a restaurant business was vocational aptitude \longrightarrow possibilities \longrightarrow good income : 2) In terms of job satisfaction, most respondents were satisfied with both the work itself and the income. It was also observed that the younger owners were more satisfied with their jobs than the older owners : 3) Increased costs, including labor and food costs, was indicated as the biggest problem in restaurant management. Respondents also perceived labor shortage as one of the most difficult problems. Men were more likely than women to consider the following problems as being more serious: rent, financial problems, taxes, regulation restrictions, menu development and customer complaints. It was found that as the size of the restaurants grew, the respondents perceived the shortage of labor as the hardest part of running a business : 4) Respondents agreed that employing good foodservice workers was the most important part of foodservice management. Owners also believed that they needed more research time for menu and service development 5) To be successful, the restaurant owners paid the most careful attention to food taste. Service, sanitation, and menu development were also emphasized. Respondents stressed the focus on service, good relationships, diligence, and faithfulness in order to be a good restaurant owner. The results of this research suggest that restaurant owners should have more professional conscientiousness to succeed in their own businesses, as well as improve the quality of the foodservice industry. Other important aspects related to the overall improved quality of the foodservice industry are: the continuation of government support, the enlargement of educational opportunities and greater respect for foodservice employees. 녹용약침(鹿茸藥針)의 퇴행성 슬관절염에 대한 임상적 연구 (Study on clinical effects of Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture on Osteoarthritis in Knee joint)

  • Objective : This study is designed to find out the effects of Cervus elaphus Herbal acupuncture on osteoarthritis in knee joint. Methods : We investigated 15 cases of patients with osteoarthritis in knee joint that arevisited in hospital of Dong-Shin Korean Traditional Medicine. We evaluated knee joint function that before and after its treatment by Lyshoim score and satisfaction of treatment by Baumgaertner nine point sacle and VAS score. Results : The sex distinction with a disease caused much more female than male at the ratio of 1 to 2.75 in the proportion of male to female. Jobs is mainly ranked with a sitting position jobs and a housewife. Approximately 73.3% of cases before our hospital have ever treated at the other clinics or hospitals. According to Lyshoim score, before treatment is 54.87 and after is 63.29, that showd stisfacally meaningful increase. According to VAS score, before treatment is 10 and after is 44.6. In evaluating of satisfaction, good are 73.2% according to Baumgaertner nine point sacle. Conclusion : According to the results, Cervus elaphus Herbal acupuncture may be effects on the increase of knee joints function and the decrease of pain on osteoarthritis in knee joint.

대졸 청년층의 노동이동 분석 - 인문사회계와 이공계 졸업자를 중심으로 - (Job Mobility of the University Graduates Youth In Korea)

  • 대졸 청년층의 노동이동을 대학졸업생자료와 고용보험DB를 결합한 자료로 분석하였다. 우리나라 대졸 청년들의 졸업 후 4년 동안 평균 취업회수는 1.68회였고, 직장경험이 늘어남에 따라 직장근속이 늘고 있으며, 취업회수가 많을수록 총근속기간이 더 길었다. 대졸 청년층들의 노동이동에서 업종과 직종이 일치하지 않는 경우가 많았다. 대졸 청년층들이 비수도권에서 수도권으로 이동하는 비율은 수도권에서 비수도권으로 이동하는 비율보다 높아 인적자원의 수도권 집중이 되고 있음을 보이나 이는 수요측 요인으로 파악된다. 대졸 청년층은 노동이동을 통하여 상위의 직종을 얻고 있으나, 작은 규모의 기업으로 이동하고 있다. 직장경험이 많은 대졸 청년들의 첫 직장 임금은 낮은 것으로 나타났으나, 이들은 직장 이동을 통해 임금수준을 증가시키고 있었다. 인문사회계 출신보다는 이공계 출신이 직장이동을 할 확률이 높았으며, 임금이 높을수록 직장이동을 할 확률은 떨어지고 있다. 수능점수가 높은 경우 직장이동을 할 확률이 낮았다. 직장이동을 통해서 대학에서의 전공과 일치하지 않는 직무로 나갈 가능성이 큰 것으로 나타났기 때문에 청년층의 노동이동을 경력형성의 방향으로 유도할 수 있도록 하는 정책대안이 필요하다. 또한 대학 졸업자의 노동의 질이 보다 높아질 수 있도록 대학교육의 강화 및 대학생 수의 감축을 위한 정책대안이 모색될 필요가 있다.

우리나라 소년범(少年犯) 교정교육(稿正敎育)의 실태(實態) 문제점(問題點) (A Study of Correctional Education for Juvenile Delinquents in Korea)

  • Nowdays the prison is the only correctional for juvenile delinquents not to be the second offenders in Korea. Originally the correctional education aims to let criminals go back to the society as a decent citizen after correcting them and prevent them from comminitting crimes repeatedly. Being considered to increase the second offenders in juvenile delinquency, the purpose of this study is to investigate the actual condition and problems of juvenile correctional education in Korea and to find out the solution of problems. First of all, this study examines the actual condition of the juvenile delinquency in Korea. The number of juvenile crimes has been increased from 1985 to 1995. In 1997, the current education in correctinal institutions for juvenile delinquents is inferior to that of developed countries. On the basis of this investigation, improvement plans which will be fit for the circumstances in Korea are suggested. The conclusion of this study are summarized as follows 1. Correctional institutions will be improved to accommodate the proper number of convicts. 2. Correctional officers should be qualified proffessinals who can achieve the aim of correctional education successfully. 3. In order to cultivate he social adaptability of convicts, the expansion of open prison is needed. 4. It is neccessary to classify convicts by means of moderized and scientific methods. 5. Correctinal education consist of various practical courses on jobs, After complenting these vocatinal training, the convict can obtain certificates. 6. The government has to has to plan policies that the released convicts can get jobs for living. 7. Owing to keeping prisons sanitary, it is very helpful for convicts to have thebelief that they are not abandoned by the member of their society. 8. Convicts are given opportunities to participate religious activities by their free-will. If above improvement plans are sufficiently accomplished, correctinal education will obtain good results, It is also effective to minimize the repetition of offence by ex-convicts.

위성 데이터 분산처리 시스템 최적화 및 안정화 (Optimization and Stabilization of Satellite Data Distributed Processing System)

  • 본 논문은 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있는 초기의 위성 데이터가 자체적으로 내포하고 있는 많은 왜곡 요소(구름, 광휘 등)에 대한 보정 작업을 클러스터에서 분산 처리함으로써 성능 향상 및 안정성을 제공해 주는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 로컬 스토리지와 상태 테이블을 이용한SGE(Sun Grid Engine) 기반 분산 처리 방식을 제안하였고, 시스템으로 구현하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 7개의 실행노드를 이용한 실험 결과에서는 기존 시스템보다 138.81%의 성능 향상을 가져옴을 알 수 있었으며, 분산 처리 작업에 대한 안정성 또한 확보됨을 보여주었다. 이는 위성 데이터에 대한 분산 처리 작업이 I/O바운드 작업보다는 CPU 바운드 작업에 보다 더 적합하다는 것을 보여주며, 이러한 SGE 기반 분산 처리 방식은 위성영상 데이터를 처리해야하는 다양한 분야에서의 데이터 처리 및 분석 속도 향상을 가져올 수 있고, 더 나아가 근실시간적 서비스를 가능하게 할 것으로 기대한다.

네델란드에서의 파트타임근로의 현황과 정책 (Part-time Work in Netherlands: Facts and Policies)

  • 본 논문은 파트타임근로를 통해서 짧은 시간 내에 높은 고용률 향상이라는 성과를 달성한 네델란드에서의 파트타임근로의 현황과 전망, 제도와 정책 등을 종합적으로 살펴보는 글이다. 네델란드는 파트타임근로를 통한 고용률 제고뿐만 아니라 양질의 파트타임을 만들어냈다는 점에서 주목받고 있다. 네델란드에서 파트타임근로가 증가한 것은 시장, 제도, 정책, 그리고 노사관계 등 다양한 요인들이 파트타임근로를 촉진하는 방향으로 서로 보완하면서 발전하였기 때문이다. 노동시장에서는 여성의 경제활동참가 증가와 기업의 파트타임수요의 증가라는 선순환 구조가 형성되었고, 파트타임근로를 보호하고 파트타임에 유리하도록 인센티브 구조를 재설계하며 근로시간선택권을 보장하며 보육시스템을 강화하는 제도나 정책이 지속적으로 강화되었다. 그러나 이러한 시장에서의 수요-공급의 선순환 구조와 파트타임을 촉진한 제도와 정책도 노사정 사이의 사회적 합의라는 커다란 틀 속에서 그에 기초해서 이루어진 것이었다는 점이 중요하다. 또한 거의 30년 가까지 지속된 네델란드모델은 노동시장의 문화와 관행으로 정착되어 풀타임근로나 노동시간 확대의 방향으로 전환하기는 어려운 것으로 평가된다. 따라서 네델란드 모델은 네델란드의 사회적 조건 하에서 성립한 특수한 모델이고 높은 수준의 사회적 합의를 기초로 하여 제도와 시장이 보완적으로 잘 결합되어 있는 모델이기 때문에 여타 국가가 부분적인 제도 이식을 통해서 성과를 내기는 어렵다고 판단된다.

The Predictability of Emotional Labor Dimensions on Job Stress, Customer Orientation, and Job Satisfaction

  • In this study, two representative measures in the job-focused approach and the employee-focused approach of emotional labor are explored to examine dimensionality and the predictability of each emotional labor measure on key consequences that include job stress, customer orientation, and job satisfaction. Data obtained from 193 department store apparel saleswomen were submitted for analysis. The results show that the emotional dissonance and emotional effort of the Kruml and Geddes measure are good predictors for job stress, customer orientation, and job satisfaction. In a test of the Davies measure, job stress is predicted by emotional dissonance and frequency while customer orientation is predicted by duration, variety, and the frequency of emotional expression in jobs. Duration is also a key predictor for job satisfaction. The result confirm the dimensionality and predictability of two emotional labor measures as well as suggests the need for the careful selection and refinement of appropriate measures according to consequences.

Job Shop 일정계획을 위한 Tabu Search (Tabu Search for Job Shop Scheduling)

  • Job shop scheduling with m different machines and n different jobs is a NP-hard problem of combinatorial optimization. The purpose of the paper is to develop the heuristic method using tabu search for job shop scheduling to minimize makespan or mean flowtime. To apply tabu search to job shop scheduling problem, in this paper we propose the several move methods that employ insert moves in order to generate the neighbor solutions, and present the efficient rescheduling procedure that yields active schedule for a changed operation sequence by a move of operations. We also discuss the tabu search techniques of diversifying the search of solution space as well as the simple tabu search. By experiments, we find the appropriate tabu list size and tabu attributes, and analyze the proposed tabu search techniques with respect to the quality of solutions and the efforts of computation. The experimental results show that the proposed tabu search techniques using long-term memory function have the ability to search a good solution, and are more efficient in the mean flowtime minimization problem than in the makespan minimization.
