Sign is one of the important factors in city and national image formation, thus requires high level of quality. However, domestic sign emphasize only the sense of attention that leads to big sized signs, thus often results in a poor coordination with the surrounding space. This situation requires employees in sign business want to learn specialized knowledge about design field. Based on these circumstances, we propose sign design software to employees in sign business field as an aid tool that can help to develop good signs in terms of functionality as well as harmony of design. Thus, in this investigation, sign simulation software application case that can design sign and apply this sign to the actual application site is presented. In order to develop this software, literature survey and preliminary studies were performed to analyze the preparation process and environment, and designed sign design element and software elements, user interrace, and finally Java software were utilized. This developed software can be used as a textbook in sign design related departments in schools, and hopefully to enhance the social recognition of sign as well as academic interest.
A new cultivar 'Picnic' originated from an artificial cross between 'Fuji' and 'Sansa' at National Institute of Horticultural & Herbal Science in 1994. The cultivar was preliminarily selected among the elite siblings for its high fruit quality in 2003. After regional adaptability tests in five districts for four subsequent years as 'Wonkyo Ga-34', it was ultimately selected in 2008. Optimum harvest time is late September. Mature fruit has mean weight of 233 g and is conic with light red skin on a greenish yellow ground and yellowish white flesh. The fruit contains a favorable total soluble solids content at $13.8^{\circ}Brix$ and titratable acidity at 0.43%, which results in gustatory harmony between sugars and acids. It is not resistant to bitter rot or Marssonina blotch. 'Picnic' exhibits a physiological cross compatibility with leading cultivars such as 'Fuji', 'Hongro' and 'Tsugaru'. Tree topology is semi-spreading with a weak growth habit.

A New bicolor standard rose (Rose hybrida Hort.) cultivar were developed by line selection in 2000 at the Flower Research Institute, Gyeongnam ARES. Characteristics were investigated three times from 2003 to 2006 "Grandking" was crossed between 'Bixa' and 'Red Sandra' and it has a red-group color (RHS No. 52A), few thorns and standard large flower with a good harmony between ray floret and flower center. The vase life of cut flower was 12.8 days. The major characteristics of this variety are 228 stems/$m^2$/year in yield, 77.4 cm in length of cut flower, 9.0 cm in flower diameter, and 36.1 in petal number. It was registered as commercial cultivar in 2006. These new variety could be planted in almost greenhouse production region of Korea.

A new spray chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflorum) cultivar, 'Magic Yellow' was developed from a cross between 'Artist pink' and 'S03-47' by selection of seedlings and lines at the Flower Research Institute, Gyeongnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services (ARES) from 2003 to 2008. Its characteristics were investigated three times from 2006 to 2008 under condition of forcing culture in spring and retarding culture in autumn. The natural flowering time of 'Magic Yellow' was October 18th, and year-round production was possible by day length treatment. This cultivar has single-type flowers in good harmony with bi-color ray floret and green center. Its flower was 6.0 cm in diameter, and it had 11.4 flowers per stem in autumn. The days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 45 days in spring season, and 'Magic Yellow' showed the vase life of 22.9 days in autumn. This cultivar was registered for the protection in 2008.
The purpose of this research is to investigate adult's perception of elderly parents care and differences of related variables between family structures. There were 1,258 participants(age 45; male=601, female=657; 1,111=nuclear, 147=extended). The measures yielded Cronbach α=.67~.95, inter-judger reliability= 95.1%, Kappa=.95. The results showed that, first, there were no significant differences between two family structures in terms of SES excepting academic career. Second, there were significant differences between two family structures in family relation, psychological characteristics. That is, adults in the extended family, versus those in the nuclear family, provide greater emotional support to children, sacrificed more towards children, and have greater expectations for children supporting them when they retire. Also, adults in the extended family displayed greater self-efficacy and happiness. Third, there were significant differences between two family structures in caring for elderly parents. Adults in the extended family apportioned a greater parent's allowance, and more number of meals with parents, and spent more time talking with parents, and displayed greater degree of filial piety and more caring behavior towards parents. Fourth, as for the perception of caring for elderly parents according to family structure, when adults were asked about "the best way to care for parents", the most frequent response was providing a peace-of-mind for parents. As for "the most difficult aspect of caring for parents", differences in opinions followed by financial difficulty were the most. As for "the best aspects of caring for parents", the most frequent responses were good for children's upbringing and family harmony. Based on the results, suggestions for further research have been discussed.
This study has an objective not only to be helpful to the understanding about students' career and employment preparation by investigating the present conditions which are related with vocational consciousness and job values of dental hygiene department graduating students. Study subjects were 350 female graduating students in 3-year-course College, dental hygiene department at five areas of Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon and Gyeongnam. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 19.0. Regarding job values, job prospect of dental hygienist is a little developmental (55.2%) and institution hoping to work is dental clinic (43.2%), reasons for employment in major area are good wage and working environment (24.0%). And regarding opinion about job, dental hygienist job is a measure for living income (69.7%). Regarding job selection conditions, 35.0% subjects replied good human relationship. In the questionnaires regarding professional job in vocational consciousness category, results showed high percentages in that 'the occupation is a job in charge of oral health improvement'; regarding academic area, 'scaling should be done better than dentist'; regarding human relationship, 'harmony between colleagues is closely related with job efficiency'; regarding work ethics, 'development of dental hospital (clinic) and dental hygienist is correlated.' In vocational consciousness of study subjects, higher major satisfaction showed significant differences in professional job consciousness and work ethics consciousness (p<0.05) and the correlation results in vocational consciousness areas showed all statistically significant correlations (p<0.01). In case that the characteristic in one type is higher among 4 types, all other types showed high characteristics and also showed high general vocational consciousness.
This paper attempts to explore the theory of moral leadership in the Great Learning. There are two fundamental contents in the elements of moral leadership's human nature in the Great learning. These are meaning of general principle(綱領指趣) - studying, self cultivation and social authority from rectifying name, and category of concrete learning(學問綱目) - the scheme of manifesting original nature (明德之方) and the scheme of loving the people(親民之方). In this, there are two principles. One is the principle of stage. In the theory of moral leadership of the Great learning, there are stages from self-cultivation to making the world tranquil. The other is the principle of stop at the highest good in manifesting nature and loving the people. In the meaning of general principle, moral leader must have good nature that he or she preforms his or her original nature and accomplishes self-cultivation. For this he or she must learn and study, and endeavors self-polishing. In the category of concrete learning, at first, in the scheme of manifesting original nature, there are investigation things-extending knowledge and making the will sincere-rectifying the mind as the pre conditions of the self-cultivation, and moral leader must carry out harmonization peoples and accomplishing public morals as the result of self-cultivation. The harmonization people means that everyone has equal position and lives with each other in harmony In the scheme of loving the people, there are the connected ethics of self cultivation-regulating the family(修身齊家) and the connected ethics of regulating the family-ordering the state(齊家治國) by effect of self-cultivation.
This study estimated the prototype of Yangjindang at the time of its foundation by putting together the literature and discovered data and historical research on family related to Sangju Yangjindang, and looked at its architectural characteristics. These are summarized as follows: First, Yangjindang is an office building which was completed in three years [1629] after its start of construction when Keomgan Jojeong was at the age of 72 [1626] in his latter days and it was used for performing ancestral rites for Jojeong's forefathers of the head family of Pungyang Jo by family origin. Yangjindang was founded as a base of utopia for putting ancestral rites & commemoration, harmoniousness of a tribe, and educational idea into practice together with Ojakdang. Such a movement can be judged to interpret and apply the circumstances of the times realistically and flexibly where they tried to pursue the promotion of Confucianism & studies of the proprieties as well as the consciousness of practice, and to bring a tribe into harmony after the war through the retirement of Toegye School. Second, it is located at a topographically ideal spot on the edge of the Jangcheon-a tributary of Nakdong with a good physiology and landscape and its location was also the lot for a house of Jojeong's ancestor, which was burned down by war. Behind such a location and planning of Yangjindang, it is presumed, though not certain that it was modelled after Naeap village at Andong- Jojeong's parents-in-low's home. Third, as for its foundation size, it's a head house as much as about more than 100-kan, and its structure is composed of Samyo, Bonche, and Yangjindang. In addition, arrangements of buildings and its composition system and renovation procedures followed Chu-tzu Garyoe. Composition of Samyo can be restored to Yangjindang, Jugo, Woesammun, and Samyo; however, there has been no case of existence in case of Jugo building composition & arrangement takes on an aspect of a compromise between Gamyojido and Sandangjido of Garoe, which seems to be the result from flexibly interpreting and applying the rituals and studies of the proprieties of Toegye School in keeping with locational topography and realistic circumstances while making it a principle for them to observe by Toegye School. There exists a difference between Bonche and its counterpart of the upper class housing at Sangju district in that Bonche[main building] is a squre-shaped 'Ttuljip' typical of Andong setting a family ancestral ritual as a main function. Fourth, there existed a lot of hardships in raising money to cover repairs in time of doing repairs to this structure after 180 years since its establishment. In case of the repair work on Bonche, the level of renovation was limited to the replacement of old materials for rafters, doorpost, roof members and railings with new materials, together with partial alterations in case of window system. It is estimated that Yangjindang was renovated in 1808, and afterwards it was renamed Okryujeong after being re-built at another site. Through the repairs, the floor was expanded for the clan's meeting, and angle rafters and roof members were mended as well. Especially, the plane and structure of Okryujeong which was re-built at another site are expected to give clues to its restoration due to the resemblance to original appearance of Yangjindang at the time of its renovation in 1808.
This thesis is focused on the bat symbol, especially prevalent crafts’ pattern in late Joseon period on museum collections. For the use and reperception of them, I am aimed for appropriate analysis of bat symbol by co connotation which reflects the characteristics on number.plastic.color symbol. This point of view, bat idea and bat paintings in Joseon period will be the source of meanings to the denotation of bat patterns. In the museum collections, bat paintings and patterns are calculated 324 objects. By functional classification, the bat patterns on dwelling-crafts for the royal and for the people will be discussed. In result, the bat paintings were only a few, however, usually connoted Taoist hermit with super-natural powers.longevity.protector of Lightning-God.praying for long life, which were based on Taoism. Meanwhile the bat symbol of dwelling-crafts for the royal projected the longevity and prosperity of king and queen. By he Five Blessings and good auspices in Ching dynasty, number of '5.4' implied 'Five Blessings', Through the correct recognition of homo-phone, "a bat(蝠, fu)=happiness(福, fu)$\rArr$five bats(五蝠)$\rArr$Five Blessings(五福 )." In the case of bat symbol on the dwelling-crafts for the people, especially its for women, it expressed on the metal-decoration of furniture and paper-crafts. In the metal-decoration, the signified of bat symbol were expellant-evil('guard') that of characteristic signifier, white-silver color, number '1' and 'flying-type'. The bat symbol on paper-crafts for the people signified 'double happiness'.harmony.sons with number of '2', 'Five Colors' and the transformation of 'flying-type'. The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of family environment for middle school student's health behavior. In order to do this we collected data through the questioning of 543 male students and 512 female students in 4 Pusan middle schools. The results of this study are summarized as follows. The score on their family cohesion and adaptability was 57.8, 43.5 on the average for male students and 59.8, 44.8 in female students. The score on their family adaptability and cohesion was higher in fema1e students than male students. The score of their Breslow health behavior was 4.20 from a total of 7.00, the total score of health behavior was 131.4 from a total of 176.0 scores. The students had a 43.9 out of 60.0 in personal hygiene and daily habits, 32.8 out of 40.0 for infectious disease preventive behavior, 30.2 out of 40.0 in accident prevention, 24.5 out of 36.0 in mental health. In the cases of males, the score for Breslow health behavior was higher the lower the school grade, the younger the parents, the higher the educational level of parents, the more comfortable the family, and the higher the economic state. There was a statistically significant difference with regard to family cohesion and adaptability. In the cases of females, The total score for health behavior was higher. However, the difference was not significant in other fields. With the multiple regression analysis, the health behavior of middle school student was associated significantly with sex (female students), grade, family cohesion, and adaptability. In Breslow health behavior, scale sex (male students), father's age, family cohesion and the harmony of parents were significant variables. From the results of this study, a good family environment fur middle school students is very important.
