서남해연안해역에서 Tetrabromobisphenol A의 노출농도 및 그들의 광화학적 분해 특성 (Exposure Concentration of Tetrabromobisphenol A in Southwestern Coast and Their Photodecomposition Characteristics)

  • The aim of this study is to determine the exposure concentration of tetrabromobisphenol A(TBBPA) in southwestern coast and their photodecomposition rate. Also, it is to identify the radical species of the photodecomposition of TBBPA and their reactive byproducts using the electron spin resonance(ESR) method. TBBPA was not detected in any of the sea water samples from Mokpo, Gunsan, or Goheung. The sediment samples from Mokpo contained not detection(N.D)~50.0 ng/g dry wt., while those from Gunsan contained N.D~28.5 ng/g dry wt. and those from Goheung contained N.D~7.3 ng/g dry wt. The photodecomposition rates were $2.56{\times}10^{-6}/hr$ by visible light(400 nm), $7.98{\times}10^{-6}/hr$ by ultraviolet light(300 nm <), and $6.78{\times}10^{-6}/hr$ by sunlight. Also, we confirmed that singlet oxygen and hydroxyl radicals are the key reactive oxygen species at wavelengths greater than 400 and 300 nm, respectively. This study shows that the main byproducts formed during irradiation at wavelengths above 300 nm are 2,6-dibromobenzosemiquinone radical(2,6-$DBSQ{\cdot}^-$) and g-value 2.0048 doublet spectrum.

고흥만 습지에서 경도법으로 산출한 현열플럭스 (Sensible heat flux estimated by gradient method at Goheung bay wetland)

  • Meorological data have been collected to monitor the wetland area in Goheung bay since 2003 and four intensive observations were conducted to study effects of the atmospheric turbulence on the energy budget and the ecological changes. We improved an algorithm to estimate the sensible heat flux with routine data. The sensible heat flux estimated by gradient method was in good agreement with that measured by precision instruments such as surface layer scintillometer and ultrasonic anemometer. Diurnal variations of sensible heat flux showed analogous tendency to those of temperature gradient. When the vertical wind shear of horizontal wind components was weak, even though temperature gradient was strong, the gradient method underestimated the sensible heat flux. A compensation for the cloud will make this gradient method be a helpful tool to monitor the ecosystem without expensive instruments except for weak wind shear and temperature gradient.

전라남도 고흥군 외나로도 나방(곤충강: 나비목)의 생물다양성 연구 (Moth (Insecta: Lepidoptera) Biodiversity on Island Oenarodo, Goheung-gun, Jeonnam)

  • The present study aimed to investigate the local moth fauna and population change during a year on Island Oenarodo (N34$^{\circ}$27'50", E127$^{\circ}$28'06", 74 m a. s. l.), Goheung-gun, Jeonnam. Moth collecting was carried out using a light trap from March to October, 2007. A total of 231 species and 562 individuals in 14 families were identified. Species of Noctuidae were the most abundant with 86 species and 163 individuals, followed by Geometridae (60 species and 147 individuals) and Pyralidae (39 species and 135 individuals), respectively. Monthly changes of moths species richness and abundance were M-shaped with two peaks at late Spring and late Summer. During the study, a geometrid, Menophra senilis, and a pyralid, Endotricha olivacealis were most abundant with 16 individuals. The estimated species richness using Chao 1 identified 646 species, suggesting that we need more extensive and long-term survey for the better understanding of the total moth fauna on the island.

해안경관구성요소를 활용한 관광자원활성 방안에 대한 기초 연구 - 고흥 우두~우천마을 일원을 대상으로 - (A Basic Study on the Activation of Tourism Resources Using Coastal Landscape Components - A Case Study of the Goheung Woodoo ~ Woocheon Village -)

  • Plans to utilize the resources of the coast guard are underway for the revitalization of the area and the development of tourism resources in recent years. As most of the plans have been focused on some specific factors such as geographical or regional conditions, and therefore systematic approaches are needed in corporation with other related projects. This study suggested the measures on activating the coastal tourism resources for Woodoo~Woocheon village in Goheung-gun by using the coastal landscape elements. The current status of natural environment and tourism resources for coastal regions were investigated in Woodoo~Woocheon village and plans for enhancing connectivity with local residents were suggested. Based on the scenic values of coastal region, landscape were assessed from the perspective of the sustainable coastal tourism resources in the future. Several solutions were suggested to enhance tour values; coastal deck road to enhance connectivity between resources and accessibility of foreign tourists, social communication among local residents and authorities, continuous development of cultural and historic resources in local area. In addition, information signs and new stair ways would be needed to improve the accessibility of tourists. In the future, if the plan for this study was to generate profitability with persistence, it suggested that there was a way to move forward in conjunction with the profit rate local projects distributed around it.

고흥지방 기상요인과 감자의 생육 및 수량과의 관계 (Relationship between Meteorological Elements and Yield of Potato in Goheung Area)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between yearly variations of elimatic elements and yearly variations of productivity in potato. In addition, correlation coefficients among yield and yield components were estimated. The data of yield and yield components were investigated for 9 years from 1987 to 1995. The meteorological data what gathered at the Goheung Weather Station for the same period of crop growing season were used to find out the relationships between climatic elements and crop productivity. Yearly variation of the daily minimum temperature in March and April were large with coefficients of variation (C.V.) of 126.0%, 368%, respectively, but the variation of the daily mean and maximum temperature in May and June were relative small. Stem length and number of stem show more C.V. of 9.3%, 14.3%, respectively, but the variation of the yield was relative small with 3.7%. Correlation coefficients between the amount of precipitation in April and yield, yield and daily mean temperature in June were negatively significant at the level of 5, 1 %, respectively. Correlation coefficients between the growth habits and yield are positively significant at the level of 5, 1 %, respectively. Simple linear regression equations by the least square method are estimated for stem length (Yl) and the precipitation in April(X) as Y,=82.47-0.11x (R2=0.3959), and for yield(Y2) and the precipitation in April(X) as Y,=2003.61-0.94X (R2=0.5418).

Absolute Radiometric Calibration을 위한 Field Campaign과 시험결과 (Field Campaigns and test results for Absolute Radiometric Calibration)

  • 한국항공우주연구원에서는 2006년 발사될 다목적실용위성 2호의 절대복사보정(absolute radiometric calibration)을 위한 준비로, Orbview-3 위성의 통과시간에 맞추어 2004년 11월 4일 과 2005년 3월 7일에 고흥과 대전에서 Field campaign을 수행하였다. 절대복사보정은 vicarious calibration 방법 중 targets의 반사 특성을 이용하는 방법으로, Field campaign을통해 수집된 지표자료와 대기자료들을 이용하여 top-of-radiance(TOA)를 추출하였다 대기 복사모델로는 MODTRAN 4.0이 사용되었으며, 추출된 TOA radiance와 Orbview-3 Panchromatic DN과 비교를 하여 절대복사보정을 위한 offset과 gain계수를 계산하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 Field Campaign으로부터 축적된 경험을 이용하여 다목적실용위성 2호의 절대복사보정에 적용할 방법을 제안하였다.

건강기능식품 기능성 원료로서 고흥 유자 추출물의 지표성분 Naringin 분석법 (HPLC Method Validation of Naringin Determination in Goheung Yuzu Extract as a Functional Ingredient)

  • 개별 인정형 건강기능식품 기능성 원료로 개발한 고흥 유자추출물의 표준화를 위해 지표성분으로 naringin을 설정하였으며, HPLC를 이용하여 지표성분 naringin의 분석법을 확립하고 그에 따른 유효성분 검정을 실시하고자 하였다. 유효성 검정 결과, 본 시험법에서 표준용액의 retention time과 고흥 유자 추출물의 retention time이 일치하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 동일한 spectrum을 나타내어 특이성을 확인하였다. 검량선의 상관계수($R^2$)는 0.9986으로 높은 직선성을 보였으며 검출한계는 0.0218 mg/L, 정량한계는 0.0661 mg/L로 설정되었다. Naringin의 회수율은 1 mg/mL에서는 95.75~98.25%, 0.5 mg/mL에서는 97.67~101.01%, 0.1 mg/mL에서는 97.33~104.64%, 0.05 mg/mL에서는 95.53~106.82%의 범위의 회수율을 얻었으며 intra-day에서의 정밀도(RSD)는 1.39~1.95%, inter-day에서는 0.17~1.49%의 정밀도를 나타내어 고흥 유자 추출물의 지표성분 naringin의 분석법은 적합한 시험법임을 확인하였다.

고흥지역에 분포하는 백악기 응회암의 역학적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Properties of the Cretaceous Tuffs in Goheung Area.)

  • 본 연구에서는 전라남도 고흥군 일대에 분포하는 중생대 백악기 응회암을 대상으로 실내 시험을 통하여 역학적 특성을 파악하였다. 고흥군 일대에 분포하는 응회암(고흥응회암, 팔영산 용결응회암)은 성분상 glass성분이 우세한 유리 질응회암(vitric tuff)에 해당된다. 응회암의 물리적 특성인 비중, 건조밀도, 함수율, 공극율 및 흡수율의 평균값은 각각 2.51, $2.52(g/cm^2)$, 0.12($\%$), 4.51($\%$) 및 1.91($\%$)이다. 공극율의 증가에 따라 건조밀도는 낮아지는 경향을 보이며, 흡수율과 공극율은 밀접한 상관관계를 보인다. 일축압축강도(UCS) 범위는 80.4$\~$208(MPa), 평균 141.1(MPa)로서 Deere & Miller(1966)에 의한 신선한 암의 공학적 분류에 의하면 high strength에 해당이 된다. 축방향의 점하중 강도지수($Is_a$)는 평균 4.2(MPa)이며, 직경방향 점하중 강도지수($Is_d$)는 평균 2.2(MPa)으로, 점하중강도 이방성지수($Ia_{(50)}$)는 1.93이다. 일축압축강도와 축방향 점하중 강도지수($Is_{(50)}$)는 밀접한 선형관계를 보이며, 관계식은 UCS=22 $Is_{(50)}$ +49 (MPa) (r=0.95) 로 나타낼 수 있다. 이 식은 고흥 지역 응회암에 대한 일축압축강도를 예측하는데 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.

고흥군 신금마을 당산숲의 관리 개선을 통한 농촌마을 활력 제고방안 고찰 (Perspectives on the Revitalization of Rural Village by Improving Management Scheme for the Dangsan Forest in Singeum Village, Goheung-gun)

  • 이 연구는 고흥군 신금마을 당산숲의 특성, 관리실태를 파악하고, 관리 개선방안 고찰을 통해 농촌마을 활력을 제고하고자 한 것이다. 해안가마을인 신금리의 당산숲은 비보숲과의 조합으로 이루어진 '당산숲+비보숲' 유형을 갖고 있다. 천연기념물 제362호 '고흥 외나로도 상록수림'으로 지정되어 있는 당산숲 안에는 학생수련장 건물이 들어서면서 훼손되고, 둘레에 철책이 설치되면서 마을주민들 조차 출입이 금지되어 1년에 한번 당산제를 지낼 때에만 출입할 수 있다. 또한, 비보숲은 나로도 해수욕장으로 이용되면서, 관리 부재로 인해 훼손되고 있는 등 천연기념물로서 당산숲의 명칭, 이용행태에서 많은 문제점과 함께 올바로 활용되지 못하고 있다. 신금마을의 당산숲이 현재까지 수백 년간 그 아름다움을 유지해 온 원동력은 당산제 등을 통해 마을주민들이 지키고 보호해 왔기 때문이다. 현재 마을이장 홀로 당산제를 지내며 마을 성지(聖地)로서의 위상이 소멸될 위험에 처해 있는 실정이다. 신금마을 당산숲은, 전통문화경관으로서의 가치를 높일 필요가 있으며, 관리 문제 개선을 통해 마을의 활력 증진에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

고흥 연안 저서 어족자원의 어획실태 (Catch state of demersal fish resources at the coastal waters off Goheung)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the state of demersal fish resource catch by small trawlers, which live in the southern waters off Goheung. We investigated the results of catch of sample fishing vessels, and performed fishing experiments using the actual fishing operation vessels from early November in 2002 till end of October in 2003. The daily amount of catch per vessel of the 35 small trawlers selected as sample vessels was the highest in summer seasons(June and July) as 70kg and the lowest in winter seasons(January and February) as 45kg and Octopus minor occupied as 17 to 30kg nearly 30% of the total catch. Additionally the catch of Octopus minor per vessel, per dragging hour ranges 3 to 6kg, which is the highest in March and June and the low in January to February, April to May and September. In the fishing experiments using small trawler, during the study period, a total of 75 fish species were collected. The number of individuals by species consisted 58.2% in Shrimps, 17.8% in Fish, 2.3% in Cephalopod. Of these, Parapenaeopsis tenella was the highest in 29.2%, Squilla oratoria and Crangon hakodatel was 14.6% respectively and Octopus minor was 0.2% of the total number of individuals. As far as the appearance number of individuals by month was concerned, February was the highest and then May, April and June followed in order, and October showed the lowest. Additionally the monthly catch per dragging was the lowest in December to January as 20kg and the highest in July as 160kg. Specially, Octopus minor was caught throughout the year regardless of season and the catch was the highest at the period from March to June. When looking into the body mean length of dominant fishes caught, we could observe the followings; Trachurus japonicus 8.9cm, Cynoglossus robustus 10.8cm, Muraenesox cinereus 15.3cm, Setipinna taty 10.3cm, Amblchaeturichfhys hexanema 9.3 cm and Collichthys niveatus 8.9cm, most of which were in their immaturity when they were caught.
