  • Digital Virtual Manufacturing is a technology to facilitate effective product developments and agile productions by digital model representing the physical and logical schema and the behavior of real manufacturing system, and it includes product, resources, processes and plant. For successful applications of this technology, a digital virtual factory as a well-designed and integrated environment is essential. In this research, we constructed a sophisticated digital virtual factory of a Korean automotive company's press shop. For efficient constructions of a digital virtual factory useful to kinematic simulations and visualizations, we analyzed entire business process and detailed activities of press engineering. Also, we evaluated geometries, structures, characteristics and motions of a plant and machines in press shop. The geometric model and related data of a virtual press shop are built and managed by a modeling standard defined in this paper. The virtual manufacturing simulation of press machines is conducted to evaluate kinematic motions, cycle time and locations of components using geometric models and related data. It's for interference checks and productivity improvements. We expect that this virtual press shop helps us to achieve great savings in time and cost in many manufacturing preparation activities in the new car development process of automotive companies.

표준 치아 크기 및 배열 정보를 이용한 다중 치아 임플란트 식립계획 방안 (Planning of Multiple Tooth Implant Placement Using the Standardized Data in Teeth Size and Position)

  • It is important to devise methods for assisting dentists to consistently determine implant positions and directions and to accurately perform drilling tasks during dental implant surgery. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to tooth implant placement planning which deals with the determination of the positions and directions of multiple implant fixtures for a set of missing mandibular teeth and suggests the selection of the sizes and types of the implant fixtures. We combine Korean standard data in the sizes and positions of human teeth with the patient specific 3D models of mandibular jawbones, nerve curves, and neighboring teeth around the missing teeth in order to determine the positions and directions of the implant fixtures for the missing teeth. Using the geometric and spatial information of the jawbones, the teeth and the implant fixtures, we can construct the 3D models of surgical guide stents which are crucial to perform drilling tasks with ease and accuracy. Adopted in 3D simulation of dental implant placement, the approach can provide surgeon students with good educational contents. We also expect that, with further work, the approach can be used as a useful tool to plan for dental implant surgery.

지방부 다차로 도로구간에서의 사고 예측모형 개발 (대도시권 외곽 및 구릉지 특성의 도로구간 중심으로) (Development of a Accident Frequency Prediction Model at Rural Multi-Lane Highways)

  • 도로구간에서의 주행조건은 연속적인 도로축 상에서 구간별로 변하게 되고 이에 따라 도로에서의 교통사고는 도로 기하구조 변수뿐만 아니라 도로주변 환경변수, 교통조건 변수 그리고 기타 다양한 변수들에 의해서 발생하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 현장조사를 통해 얻어진 다양한 도로기하구조 요소를 고려하여 동질성을 갖춘 구간 분할 후에 도로를 구성하는 도로 기하구조, 교통조건, 도로주변 환경 그리고 기타 다양한 요소들을 복합적으로 반영하고자 한다. 이를 반영하기 위해 본 연구에서는 도로구간의 주행조건을 결정짓는 주요인들에 의해서 주행조건 동질구간을 결정하고, 각 동질구간에서의 도로 및 교통조건 등을 고려하여 사고예측 모형을 개발하였다. 모형 개발을 위해 사용된 자료는 대도시권 외곽과 평지 및 구릉지를 대표할 수 있는 수도권 외곽내에 지방부 도로구간과 전라북도 지방부 도로구간에서 수집되었다. 본 연구에서는 연속된 도로구간에서 사고건수가 "0"인 구간수가 매우 높게 나타나므로 이에 대한 과대 예측을 방지하기 위해 ZIP(Zero Inflated Poisson) 모형을 이용하였다. 사고예측모형 개발 결과 지방부 다차로 도로구간에서 교통사고에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 교통량과 도로구간 길이를 포함한 EXPO($365{\times}ADT{\times}Length{\times}Year/10^{-6}$), 곡선반경, 종단구배변화, 가드레일, 지형(산악지), 횡단보도개수, 버스정류장 개수가 지방부 다차로 도로구간에서의 차대차 사고에 영향을 미치는 주요 설명변수로 나타났다.

  • Many authors issued the feature-preserving averaging technique according to positioning and scaling process using landmarks, which represent the geometric characteristics of three dimensional surface models. Such a technique should be done by manual procedure, choosing and marking the landmarks on each bone surface before averaging process. In this study, we produced another averaging technique without having to use such manual procedure, and made averaging models from three dimensional surface data that were reconstructed from computerized tomography images of Digital Korean Project. The bone models were subjected to orthogonal coordinator system. These models were transformed to coincide mass center and to align principal axis. Then, bone models were scaled according to average length data of sample bone models on all axis(x, y, z). After establishing voxellar hexahedron space which contain all sample bone models, we counted the number of overlapping for each voxel. We generated the three dimensional average surface by displaying the yokels that have more overlapping number than boundary number. The boundary number was decided when the average volume of each bone equal to the volume of bone that would be averaged. Using this technique, we can make a feature-preserving averaging volume of bones.

뉴질랜드 캔터배리 지역 연속지진에 의해 발생된 일시지반변형과 매설된 상수도관 성능평가 (Transient Ground Deformation induced by Sequential Earthquakes and Estimation of Underground Water Pipeline Performance in Canterbury, New Zealand)

  • 본 연구는 최근 뉴질랜드 Canterbury 지역에서 연속적으로 일어난 지진의 지진계 기록과 지리정보체계(GIS)의 정규크리깅을 이용하여 최대지반속도(PGV)와 기하평균최대지반속도(GMPGV) 컨투어를 생성하였고 이들의 공간적 패턴과 특징을 조사하였다. 지진발생 후 얻어진 데이터를 이용하여 지하의 상수도관 시스템의 성능에 주안점을 두고 연구를 수행하였다. 기하평균최대지반속도의 공간분포와 일시적인 지반거동으로 인하여 발생된 상수도관 시스템의 GIS 중첩과 비액상화지역의 기하최대지반속도와의 관계를 통하여 서로 다른 재질의 상수도관에 따른 1 km 당 매설된 상수도관 손상 개수로 산정되는 손상율을 산정하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 매설된 상수도관의 지진성능을 요약하여 설명하였다.

공공기준점 측량에 적용을 위한 VRS(가상기준점) 방식의 Network-RTK 정확도 분석 (Analysis of Network-RTK(VRS) Positioning Accuracy for Surveying Public Control Point)

  • 현재 국토지리정보원은 전국 44개의 상시관측소를 이용하여 VRS 서비스를 제공하고 있으며 이를 이용하여 짧은 시간 동안 취득된 자료의 처리를 통해 높은 위치정밀도의 획득이 가능하다. 그러나 공공기준점 측량을 위한 VRS 측량의 가용성 분석은 미비한 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 환경에서 데이터를 취득하여 공공기준점 측량에 대해 적용하기 위한 VRS 측량의 정확도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 85%의 데이터가 4cm 이내의 수평오차가 나타남으로써 VRS 측량에 적용할 수 있다고 판단되었고 좌표의 정확도를 판별하는 인자로 GDOP(Geometric Dilution of Precision)보다는 추정된 좌표의 분산을 나타내는 PQ(Position Quality)를 이용하는 것이 효율적임을 알수 있었다. 또한, 현재 대표적인 VRS 장비회사인 TRIMBLE, MAGELLAN, LEICA, TOPCON의 장비의 정밀도를 비교분석한 결과 수평위치의 표준편차가 3cm 미만으로 나타났으며, 회사 장비 별 정밀도는 비슷한 것으로 확인 되었으며, 공공기준점 측량에 VRS 측량을 적용하여도 무방하다고 사료된다.

QUANTITATIVE DATA TO SHOW EFFECTS OF GEOMETRIC ERRORS AND DOSE GRADIENTS ON DOSE DIFFERENCE FOR IMRT DOSE QUALITY ASSURANCE MEASUREMENTS

  • To quantitatively evaluate how setup errors in conjunction with dose gradients contribute to the error in IMRT dose quality assurance (DQA) measurements. The control group consisted of 5 DQA plans of which all individual field dose differences were less than ${\pm}5%$. On the contrary, the examination group was composed of 16 DQA plans where any individual field dose difference was larger than ${\pm}10%$ even though their total dose differences were less than ${\pm}5%$. The difference in 3D dose gradients between the two groups was estimated in a cube of $6{\times}6{\times}6\;mm^3$ centered at the verification point. Under the assumption that setup errors existed during the DQA measurements of the examination group, a three dimensional offset point inside the cube was sought out, where the individual field dose difference was minimized. The average dose gradients of the control group along the x, y, and z axes were 0.21, 0.20, and 0.15 $cGy{\cdot}mm^{-1}$, respectively, while those of the examination group were 0.64, 0.48, and 0.28 $cGy{\cdot}mm^{-1}$, respectively. All 16 plans of the examination group had their own 3D offset points in the cube. The individual field dose differences recalculated at the offset points were mostly diminished and thus the average values of total and individual field dose differences were reduced from 3.1% to 2.2% and 15.4% to 2.2%, respectively. The offset distribution turned out to be random in the 3D coordinate. This study provided the quantitative data that support the large individual field dose difference mainly stems from possible geometric errors (e.g., random setup errors) under the influence of steep dose gradients of IMRT field.

GIS를 이용한 수문매개변수 설정에 관한 연구 - 탐진강 유역을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Establishment of the Hydro-Parameter by Using GIS - in Tamjin River Basin -)

  • 하천유역의 수문학적 지형정보는 자료가 방대하여 이들을 획득하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하였으며 현실적으로 사용이 곤란한 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 수자원의 효율적인 관리를 위한 수문정보 자료를 획득하기 위한 수단으로서 GIS를 이용하여 수문지형정보를 추출하기 위하여 DEM(Digital Elevation Model)의 처리방법을 기초로 한 GIS 소프트웨어인 Arc View를 이용하여 하천의 기하학적 요인 및 지형학적 특성을 정량화 하는 방법을 제시하며, CRID 모델을 이용하여 하천차수와 유역면적, 유역특성의 정량적 결과를 산출하는 것을 가능하게 했다. 총유로연장과 흐름누적셀 수의 관계식은 $Y=14632.87{\cdot}X^{-0.542444}$이며, 총유로연장과 셀크기의 관계식은 $Y=37014.1{\cdot}X^{-1.058808}$이다. 이들 식으로부터 탐진강 유역의 적정흐름누적셀의 수는 383개, 적정 셀의 크기는 44m임을 알 수 있었다.

주행속도와 기하구조에 따른 운전자 불안뇌파 분석 -고속주행시를 중심으로- (A Study of the Relationship between Driver's Anxiety EEG & Driving Speed in Motorway Sections)

  • For establishing a standard of design element of the smart highway, this study investigated driver's anxiety EEG according to running speeds and geometric designs. Also, the experiment was implemented on 60 subjects. Based on running speed data and brainwave data, which were obtained from the experiment, this study analyzes anxiety EEG according to running speeds and geometric designs, and finally draws a forecasting model of anxiety EEG by selecting affecting factors of anxiety EEG. Forecasting model shows that left curve is the most influential on anxiety EEG figure. The reason is because when driver is driving on the first-lane, his or her visibility is impeded by a median strip. For this reason, anxiety EEG figure increases. And also steep downward slope and large radius of curve are heavily influential on driver's anxiety EEG figure. It is judged that anxiety EEG figure is increased by high speed on those section. Thus, the forecasting model of anxiety EEG suggested on this study will be utilized for design phase, and will decide the design speed on the superhighway. So, it will be used to make practical and safety road.

성격유형에 따른 복식문양 이미지 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Clothing Pattern Image by the Personality Type)

  • The objectives of this study were to investigate the perceptions of Korean female university students for clothing pattern tendency and structural element of clothing pattern image dimension and to find how individual personality type influence the preferred clothing pattern characteristics. For this study, a questionnaire was designed and sent to 600 female university students of Daejeon, Seoul and metropolitan area. The tool used in this study was MBTI(The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Form G Korean version and for the analysis of data SPSS 10.0 package were used. 10 representative patterns for this study were floral, dot, stripe, check, animal, abstract & artistic, geometric, vegetable & leaf, paisely, patchwork pattern. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, arithmetic mean, One-Way ANOVA, x²-test. The major findings were as follows: Clothing pattern image dimension perceived by Korean female university students for 10 representative patterns were basic form, deluxe, specialty, and cultural dimension. Among them, basic form and deluxe dimension were major dimensions. In basic form dimension, dot pattern score was high indicating female students perceive it as light, comfortable, clean, cool and simple pattern image. In deluxe dimension, floral pattern scored high and in specialty dimension, abstract and artistic pattern scored high among other pattern image. In cultural dimension, geometric pattern and check pattern scored high. Based on other detailed analysis results, It is concluded that the personality type greatly influence clothing pattern evaluation. For example, in case of color combination of patchwork pattern, there was a difference in color preference depend on a personality type such as sensing(S) or intuition(N). Therefore, sensing personality type preferred adjacent color combination than contrast color combination. Detailed marketing strategy is necessary in planning textile design of merchandise plan.
