Wolff-Hirschorn Syndrome (WHS) 환아의 치과 치료 -증례보고- (Dental Treatment of a Pediatric Patient with Wolff-Hirschorn Syndrome under General Anesthesia -A Case Report-)

  • Wolff-Hirschorn syndrome is a condition that is caused by a deletion of genetic material near the end of the short (p) arm of chromosome 4. The major features of this disorder include a characteristic facial appearance, delayed growth and development, intellectual disability, and seizures. A 9-year-old girl was brought to the clinic with a chief complaint of dental examination. The child was diagnosed as WHS at Samsung medical center. The child was under Sodium valproate, Atrovastatin medication for epilepsy, hyperlipidemia and had a history of heart surgery. So prophylactic antibiotics were recommended. The child was mentally retarded and had seizure so it was difficult to manage her behavior effectively. Thus dental treatment was carried out under general anesthesia. For prompt sedation induction we used 8% sevoflurane shortly. This report presents the case of a 9-year-old girl with WHS, who has received treatment for extensive caries under general anesthesia.

계수의 특성비에 대한 선형계의 파라미터적 감도해석(I): 일반적인 경우 (Parametric Sensitivity Analyses of Linear System relative to the Characteristic Ratios of Coefficient (I) : A General Case)

  • The characteristic ratio assignment (CRA) method〔1〕 is new polynomial approach which allows to directly address the transient responses such as overshoot and speed of response time in time domain specifications. The method is based on the relationships between time response and characteristic ratios($\alpha_i$ ) and generalized time constant (T), which are defined in terms of coefficients of characteristic polynomial. However, even though the CRA can apply to developing a linear controller that meets good transient responses, there are still some fundamental questions to be explored. For the purpose of this, we have analyzed several sensitivities of a linear system with respect to the changes of coefficients itself and $\alpha_i$ of denominator polynomial. They are (i) the unnormalized root sensitivity : to determine how the poles change as $\alpha_i$ changes, and (ii) the function sensitivity to determine the sensitivity of step response to the change of o, and to analyze the sensitivity of frequency response as o, changes. As an other important result, it is shown that, under any fixed T and coefficient of the lowest order of s in denominator, the step response is dominantly affected merely by $\alpha_1, alpha_2 and alpha_3$ regardless of the order of denominator higher than 4. This means that the rest of the$\alpha_i$ s have little effect on the step response. These results provide some useful insight and background theory when we select $\alpha_i$ and T to compose a reference model, and in particular when we design a low order controllers such as PID controller.

맥파전달시간과 신체특징 파라미터를 이용한 수축기 혈압측정 (An estimating method for systolic blood pressure by using pulse transit time and physical characteristic parameters)

  • 본 논문에서 맥파전달시간과 신체 특징 파라미터들을 이용하여 비침습적이고 연속적으로 혈압을 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고 임상실험을 통하여 검증하였다. 맥파전달시간은 심전도와 광전용적맥파로부터 구한다. 맥파전달시간만 이용하여 개개인의 혈압을 측정하는 방법이 연구되었지만 이 방법은 모든 사람에게 적용 가능한 범용 회귀식을 도출하기 부족한 면이 있다. 이 연구에서 혈압과 관련되는 신체 특징 파라미터들과 맥파전달시간을 이용하여 모든 사람에게 적용 가능한 범용 회귀식을 도출하여 여러 사람들의 혈압을 측정하였다. 맥파전달시간만 이용하여 만든 회귀방법과 맥파전달시간과 신체 특징 파라미터들을 같이 이용하여 만든 회귀방법을 서로 비교 하였다. 실험 결과, 맥파전달시간과 신체 특징 파라미터를 이용하는 회귀방법이 여러 사람들의 혈압을 더 정확히 측정할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었고, American National Standards Institute of the Association of the Advancement of Medical Instrument(ANSI/AAMI)에 더 근접함을 알 수 있었다.

금속-도재관용 Ni-Cr 합금의 표면산화물특성에 따른 전단결합강도 관찰 (Shear Bonding Strength by the Characteristic of Metal Oxidation on the Surface of Ni-Cr Alloy for Porcelain Fused Metal Crown)

  • Purpose: This study was to observe characteristic of metal oxidation and bonding strength according to composition of Ni-Cr alloy for porcelain fused to metal crown. The three kinds of Ni-Cr alloy with different composition ratio of parent metal were observed general properties and chemical properties of each alloy surface and measured the shear bonding strength between ceramic and each alloys. The aim of study was to suggest the material for design of parent metal's composition ratio to development of alloy for porcelain fused to metal crown. Methods: The three kinds of alloy as test specimen was Ni(59wt%)-Cr(24wt%), Ni(67wt.%)-Cr(16wt.%) alloy and Ni(71wt%)-Cr(12wt%)alloy. The oxide on surface was observed by EDX. And the shear test was performed by MTS. Results: The surface property and oxide characteristic analysis of oxide layer, weight percentage of Element O within $Ni_{59}Cr_{24}$ alloy measured 23.03wt%, $Ni_{67}Cr_{16}$ alloy measured 21.13wt% and $Ni_{71}Cr_{12}$ alloy was measured 48.55wt%. And the maximum shear bonding strength was measured 58.02Mpa between $Ni_{59}Cr_{24}$ alloy and vintage halo(H2 group). Conclusion: The surface property and oxide characteristic three kind of Ni-Cr alloy was similar. and shear bonding strength showed the highest bonding strength in H2 specimens.

피로에 따른 PSC거더의 동적특성 변화 (Dynamic characteristic change of a PSC girder due to fatigue)

  • The dynamic characteristics such as resonant frequencies and dampings have been utilized as important parameters in dynamic behavior and inverse analyses. In general, the dynamic parameters have been determined based on design and experimental data, but experimental studies on the time-dependent changes of the dynamic parameters during service have rarely been conducted. Especially, unlike highway bridges, it is much easier for railroad bridges to estimate accumulated amount of fatigue because of the controlled train operation, and the study of dynamic characteristic change due to fatigue is useful, since it can enhance the accuracy of dynamic analysis. In this paper, the dynamic characteristic change due to fatigue is measured via the modal test on the PSC girder during a fatigue test. The test specimen utilized in the test is the IT girder which enhances the sectional capacity of the conventional PSC girders. The test specimen is designed 10m long and the modal tests are conducted during the application of fatigue load two million times. The test result shows that considerable changes in the measured dynamic parameters are observed as the fatigue accumulates, and these changes during the service life should be considered in designing railroad bridges.

  • The aim of this general remarks is to introduce the results concerning the thermo physical, charging, developing and fusing characteristics of micro-encapsulated (MC) model toners in order to apply to the toner of electrophotographic system at the condition of a low temperature. In order to clarify the fusing mechanism of MC toner, rheological analysis of the toner was chosen. It was suggested that MC toner had a different fusing mechanism compared with non-MC toner. Some kinds of MC model toners showed a good result on adhesion test as well as cohesion test. Also, it was possible to get the good charging and development characteristic of MC toner for printing test with laser printer.

  • The purpose of this study is to apply the basic data of the color plan to satisfy the internal desire of residents by considering residents's special in housing space. So we analyzed and surveyed the current condition of color plan in housing space where age units of 30~40 are living. The results of this study are as followed. when the current place of color distribution was observed, ceiling and general wall showed that N(white) systems and YR of bright tone was mostly distributed. On other hand the bottom showed that the calm tone YR was mostly distributed. we could know that residents wanted to show the special of rooms by using point wall. This tendency more presented in privacy room than public room. Through this study, we could evaluate that the special of residents is not presented in color plan of the housing space where age units of 30~40 are living. So we could think that it is needed methods of color plan considered the special of residents for discriminative characteristic of the design in housing space.

  • In this paper, the proposal system can achieve the more safety of RFID System with the 2-step authentication procedures for the enhancement about the security of general RFID systems. After authentication RFID Tag, additionally, the proposal system extract the characteristic information in the user image for acquisition of the additional authentication information of the user with the camera. In this paper, the system which was proposed more enforce the security of the automatic entrance and exit authentication system with the cognitive characters of RFID Tag and the extracted characteristic information of the user image through the camera. The RFID system which use the active tag and reader with 2.4GHz bandwidth can recognize the tag of RFID in the various output manner. Additionally, when the RFID system have errors, the characteristic information of the user image is designed to replace the RFID system as it compare with the similarity of the color, outline and input image information which was recorded to the database previously. In the result of experiment, the system can acquire more exact results as compared with the single authentication system when it using RFID Tag and the information of color characteristics.

  • 개별세대 내 정보통신기기 및 홈네트워크 장비증가로 인하여 서지보호장치(SPD : Surge Protective Device)가 설치되고 있고 산업규격개정 및 등전위 접지시스템 강화에 따라 서지보호기 사용량은 점진적으로 증가하고 있다. 주택용 분전반에 설치되는 서지보호기의 부품은 전압제한형 소자인 $Z_nO$배리스터가 사용되고 있으나 일시적 과전압특성 (Temporary Overvoltage Characteristic) 위험에 노출되어있다. 본 논문은 일반주택에 사용되는 서지보호기의 열적 안전성 (Thermal Stability) 특성시험을 통하여 제품을 분석하였고 이를 토대로 개선안을 제시하였다. 분석결과 누설전류를 차단하기위한 가스 방전관(GDT) 사용 및 열폭주(Thermal Runaway) 현상을 막기 위한 안전장치가 2종 이상 필요하였다.

인쇄회로형 폴디드 슬롯 안테나 설계.제작 (Design and fabrication of the Printed Type Folded Slot Antenna)

  • 일반적인 인쇄회로형 안테나는 사용가능 주파수 대역폭이 협소하여 여러 가지 복잡한 과정을 거쳐 대역폭 확장을 위한 대책을 강구하고 있으나, 기존의 실린더형 폴디드 다이폴 안테나의 특성이 단일 다이폴 보다 우수함을 이용하여 이를 인쇄회로형 폴디드 안테나로 개량함으로서 기존의 일반적인 인쇄회로형 보다 넓은 대역폭을 간단한 구조에서 실현할 수 있었다. 급전선로로서는 최근 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 코플레나 도파관(CPW)의 장점을 활용하기 위하여 CPW 선로를 이용하여 급전하도록 하였으나, 인쇄회로형 폴디드 다이폴 안테나의 경우 CPW 선로를 이용할 경우 급전이 복잡하게 때문에, 폴디드 다이폴을 폴디드 슬롯 형태로 바꾸어 설계를 하고, 바비넷 원리를 이용하여 설계 데이타를 간단히 대치할 수 있는 방법을 활용하였다. 설계하고 제작된 CPW급전 폴디드 슬롯 안테나의 특성을 측정한 결과 주파수 대역폭은 약 20% 정도로 기존의 일반적인 형태의 인쇄회로형 안테나보다 현저히 개선됨을 확인할 수 있었다.
