  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate basic data on the recognition of rehabilitation robots and self-efficacy through general characteristics of students in the department of physical therapy. Methods: This study surveyed 100 students in the Department of Physical Therapy at E University in Seongnam using Google Form, an online survey tool. The questionnaire consisted of 64 questions including 15 questions on general characteristics, 13 questions regarding recognition of rehabilitative robots, and 36 questions about self-efficacy. General self-efficacy consisted of three sub-factors: confidence, self-regulation efficacy, and task difficulty preference. Results: The recognition of rehabilitative robots according to general characteristics showed significant differences in age, level of education, and experience in searching rehabilitative robots; according to general characteristics, self-efficacy showed significant differences dependent on age and gender (p < 0.05). In addition, recognition of rehabilitation robots for students in the Department of Physical Therapy was found to have a significant effect on robot use self-efficacy (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There were significant differences in the scores of rehabilitation robot recognition and self-efficacy according to the general characteristics of students in the Department of Physical Therapy. For such reasons, it is important for students to have an opportunity to get educated on rehabilitation robots; in order to achieve this goal, domestic studies on rehabilitation robots must be actively conducted. The technological development of rehabilitation robots and the establishment of a system for domestic rehabilitation robots from both social and legal standpoints were found to be necessary based on a volume of domestic research.

There was no significant influence on appearance interest, body satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. In group comparison, significant changes were observed in depression, positive emotion and negative emotion regardless of groups. However, cancer patients indicated a significant improvement in self-efficacy compared to general patients who did not whereas patients with a high level of depression showed a significant enhancement on body satisfaction compared to patients with a low level of depression. Also, patients with a low level of pain indicated a significant improvement on self-esteem and self-efficacy compared to patients with a high level of pain. Perceived effect and satisfaction of the fashion therapy were relatively high. Study results may positively contribute to building a knowledge and experimental base of fashion therapy that is widely applicable to diverse parties for the future.

  • This study develops the model to estimate the links between social capital, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial intention. Besides exploring the direct impacts of social capital, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and perceived desirability on social entrepreneurial intention, this study also focus on discovering the mediating roles of perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy on this relationship. Throughout adopting measures from some previous studies, the authors design the questionnaires and distribute to students in Vietnam. The study presents some demographic information of 289 students, who are studying at university and colleges in Vietnam. Then, the validity and reliability of scales are assessed using the value of Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). In addition, by utilizing the structural modeling structure (SEM), the authors show that social capital plays the important role in shaping social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived desirability, and social entrepreneurial intention. Interestingly, besides the direct effects on social entrepreneurial intention, perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy also mediate the correlation between social capital and social entrepreneurial intention. Also, with the interesting findings of the study, the authors propose several recommendations for policy-makers, educators and academics to promote the social entrepreneurship and innovation among Vietnamese students.

  • Purpose: This study examined self-efficacy, emotional labor, and health promoting behaviors. It also investigated factors affecting health promoting behaviors of nurses working for tertiary and general hospital. Methods: Between June and July 2013, a convenience sample of 233 subjects was collected from 2 tertiary hospitals and 4 general hospitals. The data analysis was done with ANOVA, t-test and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Emotional labor of the subjects was slightly lower than that of other nurses and the average level of health promoting behaviors was lower than the median. Health promoting behaviors were differentiated by education, hospital type, and monthly income. Self-efficacy showed positive correlation with HPLP-II, but emotional labor showed negative correlation with self-efficacy and HPLP-II. The most significant factor affecting health promoting behaviors was self regulation(16.3%). The combination of self regulation, attentiveness to required display rules, BSN, preference to task difficulty, and monthly income(${\geq}300$) accounted for 25.4% of health promoting behavior. Attentiveness to required display rules was a negative factor of HPLP-II. Conclusion: When developing health promotion programs for nurses, self-efficacy should be considered and further research is needed to identify mediating variables between emotional labor and health promoting behaviors.

The subjects of the study were nurses at three general hospitals located in G City. An online survey was conducted in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Data collection was from August 20 to August 30, 2021. As a result of the study, self-leadership (r=.618, p<.001), self-efficacy (r=306, p<.001), organizational immersion (r=0518, p<.001) showed a positive correlation with safety management activities. In addition, self-leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment explained 38.2% of safety management activities (F=20.478, p<.001). Therefore, it would be helpful to provide regular leadership education and self-efficacy education to increase patient management activities of general hospital nurses. In addition, if a positive work environment, legal standards for nurse work, and an appropriate compensation system are established to improve organizational commitment, it will have a positive effect on environmental safety management activities.

Means, %, ${\chi}^2$, Cramer's V, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Split-half Reliability, factor analysis and Pearson's r were used for data analysis. Five parenting self-efficacy factors were extracted from the 37 items developed for this study. Subscales were General Parenting Self-Efficacy, Health, Communication, Education, and Control. Criterion Validity of the 37 items was confirmed by a significant correlation with the Shin's parenting self-efficacy(r=.71). Internal consistency of this scale was high (Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.92$), including internal reliability of subscales. Factor validity was satisfactory at .65 - .86. These results confirm this scale as a valid and reliable measure of the parenting self-efficacy of Korean mothers.
