관용어의 친숙도, 성별, 학업성취도가 관용어 이해하기 능력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Familiarity for Idiom, Gender Difference, Academic Achievement on the Abilities of Idiom Comprehension)

  • 본 연구는 관용어의 친숙도, 성별, 학업성취도가 관용어 이해하기에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 하였다. 대학생을 대상으로 관용어 친숙도를 조사하여 50개의 관용어를 친숙한 관용어와 친숙하지 않은 관용어로 분류하였다. 이를 토대로 예비검사와 본 검사를 실시하였다. 본 검사에서 대학교 1학년 학생 63명을 대상으로 관용어 이해과제를 실시하고, 학업성취도를 조사한 결과 첫째, 관용어의 친숙도에 따라서 관용어 이해하기에는 차이가 있어 친숙한 관용어를 친숙하지 않은 관용어에 비해 더 잘 이해하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따라서 관용어 이해하기에는 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 학업성취도에 따라서 관용어 이해하기에는 차이가 있어 학업성취도가 가장 높은 집단은 가장 낮은 집단에 비해 관용어를 더 잘 이해하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 관용어 특성 이해, 관용어 교육 및 외국인 우리말 교육의 중요한 자료가 될 것이다.

과제의 친숙성 및 정답제시가 유아의 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Children's Familiarity with a Task and Teachers' Feedback on their Problem Solving Performances)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the influence of children's familiarity with a task and teachers' feedback on their problem solving performances. It was assumed that children's' problem solving performance would be different depending on the children's familiarity with a task and the feedback from teachers. The study also examined whether children's' problem solving competence would be different depending on their gender and age. The experiment was conducted with two experimental tools. The subjects were 58 children who were 5 to 6-year-old, enrolled in kindergartens in Koyang city in Kyunggi province. The collected data were processed with SPSS 11.0 program to get the average and the standard deviations, and with one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA with repeated measures. The results of the experiment are as follows; First, children's' problem solving competence was different depending on their age. Older children showed higher performance than younger children, while there's no difference in children's performance depending on their gender. Second, the teachers' feedback didn't influence children's problem solving performance. Third, children showed higher performance when familiar tasks were provided, compared to when typical tasks were provided. Finally, this study found that children's task familiarity has an influence on their problem solving performance.

Gender Differences in Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders among Agricultural Workers

  • Objective: The aim of this paper is to survey the gender differences Work-related musculoskeletal disorders among agriculture workers. Background: The number of occupational injuries has been decreasing trend in Korea, but it has been increasing in agriculture. The ratio of women worker shows steady increasing trend among the agricultural worker in Korea. Method: This study investigated through the questionnaire to 358 agricultural workers who are working for agriculture located in Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk and Jeju. Results: The task types occurring frequently and the weight of a heavy object handled according to the sex were showed statistically significant difference. The estimation of WMSDs patients by sex appeared statistically very significant difference. Conclusion: The prevalence rate of WMSDs in female was about 21 percent higher than the prevalence rate of WMSDs in male. Application: The result of this study will help improvement of work environment and prevention of WMSDs in agricultural work.

직무분석에 비교한 현장실습 직무 적절성과 일의 요소 수행에 관한 연구 (A Study On Appropriation of Clinical Practice and Carried Out Task Elements Compare with Job Analysis)

  • 목적: 현장실습 내용의 적절성과 표준화된 실습내용을 개발하는 기초자료를 얻고자 하였다. 방법: 2009 년도부터 2011년도까지 현장실습을 이수한 전체 인원에 대하여 연도별, 성별, 지역별 실습 내용을 분석하였다. 결과: 평균 실습 일수는 24.27일 이었고 일일 평균 수행 일의 요소는 2.74개로 나타났다. 연도별, 지역별 실습내용의 변화를 볼 수 있었다. 남 여 학생의 실습내용도 일의 요소 수행에서 남학생의 경우 전체 일의 요소에 대한 빈도는 차이가 났다. 결론: 현장실습을 규격화할 수 있고 현장실습에서 요구하는 일의 요소가 포함되며 안경광학과 교육목표에 부합되도록 체계화된 실습매뉴얼의 개발이 필요하다.

성별 근로자의 직업만족도와 관련요인 (Job Satisfaction Comparison Between Gender and The Influencing Factors on Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: This study were carried out to investigate the difference employment characteristics and job satisfactions by gender and to explore the influences of demographic status and employment characteristics on job satisfaction. Method: Social statistics survey data collected by Ministry of Statistics in 1998 were used for the secondary analysis in the study. Job satisfaction was measured by questionnaire which were consisted in 12 items such as task, promotion, placement, wage, benefits, future in the work, working environment, human relationship, working hours. Result: The results show that more than 50% of women were working as a part-time employees. Their education level were lower than men. Women workers were unmarried at higher percents than men. Men were showed more satisfaction significantly in their job than women. Men also had higher job satisfaction with work task, promotion, placement, and human relation. Women had shown higher job satisfaction with wage, working environment, and employer-employee relationship. Employment status had the most important factor on the job satisfaction. And, living status satisfaction, education, age, occupation, marital status, employment status and sex were significant for the job satisfaction. 33.34% of the variance in the job satisfaction were accounted for by these variables. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that there were difference of job satisfaction between gender and employment status was the most predictive factors on the job satisfaction. Women had more unstable employment status such as part-time, employment on probation, or family employer without wage than men. Stability of employment could be considered as a strategy for enhancing job satisfaction for women.

  • From the assumption that an individual's working memory capacity is limited, the cognitive load theory is concerned with providing adequate instructional design so as to avoid overloading the learner's working memory. Based on the cognitive load theory, this study aimed to provide implications for effective problem-based collaborative teaching and learning design by analyzing the level of middle school students' cognitive load which is perceived according to the problem types(short answer type, narrative type, project) in the process of collaborative problem solving in middle school function part. To do this, this study analyzed whether there is a relevant difference in the level of cognitive load for the problem type according to the math achievement level and gender in the process of cooperative problem solving. As a result, there was a relevant difference in the task burden and task difficulty perceived according to the types of problems in both first and second graders in middle schools students. and there was no significant difference in the cognitive effort. In addition, the efficacy of task performance differed between first and second graders. The significance of this study is as follows: in the process of collaborative problem solving learning, which is most frequently used in school classrooms, it examined students' cognitive load according to problem types in various aspects of grade, achievement level, and gender.

시각장애 아동과 정상 아동의 선자세 균형 비교 (The Comparison Between Blind and Normal Children in Standing Position)

  • In this paper, the proprioceptive sensitivity was compared by Foot-Hand task method and the effect of the proprioceptive sensitivity and auditory to the standing position between blind and normal children was measured using BPM for 56 children in 7, 8, 9 and 10 years old. There are three measurement methods are used for BPM : Rest, Forward Looking, 'Sound' position. The following conclusions were obtained from the above measurements. 1. In comparison of proprioceptive sensitivity between blind and normal children, there is no significant difference(p > .05). There is no significant difference in comparison of each age group and also there is no difference in each gender group(p > .05). 2. In comparison of standing position measurement between blind and normal children, there is any difference (p > .05) in three measurement(Rest, Forward Looking, 'Sound' position) but there is no significant difference in each gender difference(p > .05). There is any difference between Rest and 'Sound' position of blind children, also there is any difference between Forward Looking and ' Sound ' position, rest and 'Sound' position of normal children(p > .05). 3. There is no significant difference of correlation between proprioceptive sensitivity test and standing position measurement in Pearson correlation coefficient(p > .05).

The Relationship between Chinese Parents' Reaction to Children's Negative Emotions and Children's Understanding of Emotions

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate Chinese parents' reaction to their children's negative emotions and how these reactions relate to their children's understanding of emotions. Forty-two Chinese children (aged 4) and their parents participated in this study. Coping with Children's Negative Emotion Scale was given to parents to assess their reaction to their children's negative emotions. Children's emotional understanding was assessed using the modified emotional false-belief task and mixed emotion task. The results showed that Chinese parents gave supportive reactions more than non-supportive reactions to their children, and no difference in sex was found. The percentages of correct answers to false-belief task and mixed emotion task were low with no gender difference in both tasks. When age and sex of children were controlled, only fathers' supportive reactions to children's negative emotions significantly explained the variances in the level of children's understanding of emotions in both tasks. That is, children whose fathers showed greater supportive reactions to their negative emotions performed better at both tasks. It was concluded that fathers' supportive reactions to their children's negative emotions are very influential for emotional understanding among 4-year-old children in China.

영재 아동들의 인지 및 정서적 억제처리 과정: 스트룹 효과 및 정서 스트룹 효과 중심으로 (Cognitive and Emotional Inhibition Processes of Gifted Children: Word-color and Emotional Stroop Effects)

  • 본 연구는 영재아동들의 집행기능 중 억제처리과정을 폭넓게 살펴보기 위하여 진행되었으며, 억제처리과정을 인지적 차원과 정서적 차원으로 구분하여 처리 양상을 비교 분석하였다. 실험은 국내의 ${\times}{\times}$ 대학부설 영재교육원에 재학 중인 영재아동들 총 100명(성별에 따라 남62 및 여38, 학년에 따라 초등46, 중등54)을 대상으로 진행되었다. 실험 1에서는 인지적 요소가 포함된 억제처리 기능을 알아보기 위하여 단어-색상 스트룹 과제(word-color Stroop task)를 사용하였고, 실험 2에서는 정서적 요소가 포함된 억제처리 기능을 알아보기 위하여 정서 스트룹 과제(emotional Stroop task)를 사용하였다. 실험 결과, 영재아동들은 억제처리 과정에서 인지적 자동반응을 억제하기 위한 인지적 비용이 발생하였으며, 이는 성별에 따른 차이는 없었으나 연령이 증가할수록 인지적 비용이 유의미하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 정서적 요소가 포함되는 억제처리 과정에서는 간섭 비용이나 정서로 인한 인지편향이 유의하게 발생하지 않았으며, 성별이나 연령에 따른 차이도 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과는 영재아동들의 인지적 억제처리와 정서적 억제처리가 동일한 기제가 아닌 구분되는 처리 양상임을 시사한다.

대학생의 외모관리태도 유형에 따른 자기효능감과 신체만족 (Self-efficacy and Body Satisfaction according to College Students' Appearance Management Attitudes Typology)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify appearance management attitudes into groups and analyze the difference of self-efficacy and body satisfaction by the groups. Questionnaires were administered to 255 college students living in Deagu Metropolitan City and Kyungbook province. The data collected were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test, t-test, and ${\chi}^2$-test. The findings were as follows. Appearance management attitudes of college students were classified into three groups such as group health body, low body interest group, emphasizes collective body. The appearance management attitudes showed significant correlation with the sub-variables of self-efficacy and body satisfaction. Male students showed no significant difference in self-efficacy by the groups while female students showed a significant one in task performance which was a sub-variable of self-efficacy. Both of the male and female students showed a significance of difference in the gap between actual and ideal weight which was a sub-variable of body satisfaction by the groups. Gender of college students showed distinction between the sub-variables of self-efficacy factors such as task performance, and anxiety and body satisfaction such as BMI, the difference between current height and ideal height, the difference between current weight and ideal weight.
