The data for this study were collected from 483 adolescent consumers who were middle school and high school students in the city of Bucheon in Gyeonggi Province. The statistical methods used for the data analysis included frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of the present study can be summarized as follows. The majority(79.5%) of the students surveyed had had the experience of purchasing items. Most students(67.5%) had a rare frequency of buying ($1{\sim}2$ times in a period of 6 months or less). Nearly half (47.9%) of the students spent less than 1000 won per month on the item(s) purchased. Most of the students purchased items with their parents' permission, but 26.6% of the students bought the items without their parents' permission. Most of the characteristics of the items purchased, such as the major item purchased, payment method, amount purchased per month, average amount spent per buying experience, and whether or not they had their parents' permission differed according to gender, grade level, record, and monthly allowance. The level of propensity to consume the items was not high. The propensity of imitation consumption (1.96) was lower than that of impulsive consumption (2.38) and conspicuous consumption (2.45). Most of the buying characteristics, including the major item purchased, payment method, amount purchased per month, average amount spent per buying experience, parents' permission, grade level, and monthly allowance were different between the high and low propensity for consumption groups.

  • TIP technology enables navigation of the internal contents of images by extracting geometry information from two-dimensional drawing or a picture and generating three-dimensional effects from extracted information. The technology can be applied to a variety of practical fields including game, entertainment, education, public relations and so on. This paper proposes extended application of TIP technology and realization method for smart devices using OpenGL ES Library for Android platform. Considering problems associated with a foreground object extraction, the proposed method uses vanishing points chosen by the user to facilitate more realistic scene configuration. Then, method acquires three-dimensional background model using OpenGL ES Library, develops three-dimensional virtual space and enables image navigation via camera viewpoint conversion. The experimental image is made on Android 2.1 and OpenGL ES 1.0 using the image taken on devices built on the Android platform. Thus, the proposed technology can be implemented to various smart devices built on the Android platform at lower cost and in less time.

  • The purpose of this study is to comprehend the trend of digital experience centers' development direction and to find out the types of experiences, the characteristics of interaction and the attribute of contents by selecting 4 digital experience centers opened from 2008 to 2018. The types of digital experiences are operation, sensibility, reaction and induction based on precedent studies. The types of interaction are operation, touch and sensor. The attributes of contents are game, play and education. The result shows that the ratio of operation experiences is gradually higher. In the types of interaction, the trend is switching to operation and touch. The offer of experience activities by play type is getting higher. This study is intended to help create an empirical interaction of the content of the children's digital experience centers that will be deployed in the future.
