소나무림(林)의 밀도관리(密度管理)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)(I) - 단순(單純) logistic 곡선(曲線)과 소나무림(林)에 대한 그의 적용(適用) - (Stand Density Management Studies on Pine Stands in Korea (I) - The Simple Logistic Growth Curve and Its Application to Pine Stands -)

  • 원래 인구증가곡선(人口增加曲線)으로 알려진 단순(單純) logistic 곡선(曲線)은 초본식물(草本植物)의 성장표현(成長表現)에도 이용(利用)되어 왔다. 초본(草本)의 경우 이론치(理論値)와 실측치(實測値) 사이의 적합도(適合度)는 만족(滿足)스러운 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 초본(草本)과는 특성(特性)이 상이(相異)한 목본식물(木本植物)의 성장(成長)에 단순(單純) logistic 곡선(曲線)이 적용(適用)된 예는 극히 드물다. 따라서 그에 대한 적합성(適合性) 여부는 아직 의문시 되고 있다. 본연구(本硏究)에서는 임분밀도관리(林分密度管理)의 기초(基礎)가 되고 있는 단순(單純) logistic 곡선(曲線)의 적합성(適合性)을 조사하기 위하여 이것을 소나무임분(林分)에 적용(適用)시켜 보았다. 적합성검정(適合性檢定)을 위해서는 Chi-square test가 채용되었다.

임신기간 및 자궁저높이를 이용한 신생아 체중 예측 (Prediction of Newborn Birthweight by the Measurement of Fundal Height and Gestational Period)

  • The purposes of this study were to predict newborn birthweight by use of gestational period and fundal height and to identify growth curve of fundal height according to gestational period and growth curve of newborn birthweight according to fundal height. The subjects for the study were 802 women who delivered the normal newborn babies at Seoul National University Hospital from Sep. 1, 1981 to Aug.31, 1986. The data were collected bit chart review and analyzed nth SPSS program. The results of study were as follows : 1. The multiple regression equation ($R^2$=0.416) used for the prediction of newborn birthweight was y=(newborn birthweight, kg)=-4.421+0.075$x_1$(fundal height, cm)+0.053$x_2$(gestational period, weeks)+0.016$x_3$(abdominal girth, cm)+0.010$x_4$(maternal height, cm) 2. The growth curve of fundal height according to gestational period was obtained by polynomial regression. The regression equation was Y(fundal height, cm)=-36.78+18.58$log_ex$(gestational period, weeks) The growth curve of newborn birth weight according to fundal height was obtained by polynomial regression. The regression equation was Y(newborn birthweight, kg)=-8.09+3.27$log_ex$ (Fundal Height, cm) 3. In the following subgroups no significant difference was found in fundal height : engaged vs. nonengaged presentation, and nulliparous vs. multiparous women.

원샷시스템의 신뢰도 성장 계획 설정 방안 (A Study on the Establishment of Reliability Growth Planning for One-shot System)

  • In this paper we proposed to develop the reliability growth planning for the One-shot system using the PM2-Discrete model. The PM2-Discrete is the methodology specifically developed for discrete systems and is the first quantitative method available for formulating detailed plans in the discrete usage domain. First, the parameters RG, RI, T, MS and d of the PM2-Discrete model are set. Second, the case analysis was performed on One-shot system A. Third, the input parameter values were applied to drive the R(t) equation. Finally, using RGA 11 Software, the reliability Growth Planning Curve of One-shot system A was constructed. Also, the sensitivity analyses are performed for the changes of model parameters. The results of this study can be usefully used in establishing the reliability growth planning curve of the One-shot system.

연선균열성장 저항곡선에 대한 2매개변수의 특성 (Two-Parameter Characterization for the Resistance Curves of Ductile Crack Growth)

  • The present paper considers the constraint effect on J-R curves under the two-parameter $J-A_2$ controlled crack growth within a certain amount of crack extension. Since the parameter $A_2$ in $J-A_2$ three-term solution is independent of applied loading under fully plasticity or large-scale defor-mation $A_2$ is a proper constraint parameter uring crack extension. Both J and $A_2$ are used to char-acterize the resistance curves of ductile crack growth using J as the loading level and $A_2$ are used to char-acterize the resistance curves of ductile crack growth using J as the loading level and A2 as a con-straint parameter. Approach of the constraint-corrected J-R curve is proposed and a procedure of transferring the J-R curves determined from standard ASTM procedure to non-standard speci-mens or real cracked structures is outlined. The test data(e.g. initiation toughness JIC and tearing modulus $T_R$) of Joyce and Link(Engineer-ing Fracture Mechanics 1997, 57(4) : 431-446) for single-edge notched bend[SENB] specimen with from shallow to deep cracks is employed to demonstrate the efficiency of the present approach. The variation of $J_{IC}$ and $T_R$ with the constraint parameter $A_2$ is obtained and a con-straint-corrected J-R curves is constructed for the test material of HY80 steel. Comparisons show that the predicted J-R curves can very well match with the experimental data for both deep and shallow cracked specimens over a reasonably large amount of crack extension. Finally the present constraint-corrected J-R curve is used to predict the crack growth resistance curves for different fracture specimens. over a reasonably large amount of crack extension. 돼지의 Leptin receptor 유전자내 초위성체 다형성에 따른 개체별 성장곡선 특성 (Characteristics of Individual Growth Curve by Porcine LEPR-derived Microsatellite Polymorphisms)

  • 본 연구는 재래돼지와 랜드레이스 품종을 기초축으로 조성한 F2 집단의 일령별 체중 자료를 이용하여 비선형 회귀에 의해 추정한 개체별 성장곡선 모수 및 성장 특성치에 대한 LEPR 관련 초위성체 표지인자의 다형성에 따른 효과를 추정함으로써 Leptine 수준에 따른 성장 형질의 특성을 규명하고자 실시하였다. 조사된 F2 집단에 대해 개체별 성숙체중(A)과 성숙률(k)의 평균은 각각 179.69${\pm}$4.40kg 및 0.3103${\pm}$0.0043으로 추정되었으며, 성장 특성에 대한 성의 효과는 통계적 유의성이 없었으며 (p〉.05), 성숙체중(A) 및 최대 증체 속도($\partial$W$_{t1}$/$\partial$t)는 분만 그룹에 따른 유의적인 차이를 보였다(p〈.05). 조사된 모든 성장특성에 대해 LEPR 표지인자의 다형성 효과는 유의적으로 나타났으며(p〈.05), AA 유전자형을 가지는 개체는 만숙성이며, 반면 유전자형이 DD인 경우, 조사된 유전자형들 가운데 초기 성장이 빠른 조숙성의 성장 특성으로 가지지만, 성장률의 증가추세가 일찍 감소하며, 성숙체중의 최대치는 낮을 것을 추정되었다. 따라서 조사된 LEPR 관련 표지인자 유전자형의 다형성에 따른 성장 특성의 해석 및 예측이 가능하며, 그 범위는 생애 전반에 걸쳐 적용해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

  • In this work, prediction of fatigue life and fatigue crack growth are studied. 4th order polynominal function is presented to describe the crack growth behaviors from artifical pit of SM45C steel. Crack growth curves obtained from 4th order polyminal growth equations are in good agreement with experimental data The crack growth behaviors at arbitrary stress levels and investigated by the concept of elastic-plastic fracture mechanics using ${\Delta}J$. Fatigue life prediction are carried out by numerical integral method. Prediction lives obtained by proposed method in this study, is in good agreement with the experimental ones. Life prediction results calculated by using of ${\Delta}J$ better than those of ${\Delta}K$.

Analysis of Growth in Intersubspecific Crossing of Mice Using Gompertz Model

  • The aim of this study was to describe growth patterns of mice using Gompertz model. Two distinct types of mice, laboratory mouse $CF_{\sharp1}$ (Mus musculus domesticus) and Yonakuni wild mouse (Yk, Mus musculus molossinus yonakuni) were used. From all possible crosses, there were two parental types and two reciprocal $F_1$ crosses obtained. Individual body weights were measured weekly from birth to ten weeks of age on 321 mice. Standardization to six mice was conducted and only first litters were used. Growth curve parameters were estimated to fit growth data. The results showed that growth among genetic groups were significantly different (p < 0.05) for both sexes, in which parental type of $CF_{\sharp1}$ and Yk had the highest and the smallest values, respectively. Meanwhile, reciprocal $F_1$ crosses were intermediate between parental types. It was concluded that Gompertz model provided and excellent fit for the growth data with a high coefficient determination $(R^2 = 0.999)$.

담배의 생장반응에 관한 수리해석적 연구 I. 전건물중의 생장곡선과 생장속도 (Studies on the Mathematical Analysis of Growth Kinetics in Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L. ) I. Growth Curve and Growth Velocity of Total Dry Weight.)

  • This experiment was conducted with three varieties (Hicks, Burley 21, Sohyang) and cropping systems (Improved mulching, Mulching, Non mulching) of NC 2326 to analyze growth kinetics by means of growth function involving its velocity and accelerated velocity. The basic growth data were obtained by harvest method at interval of ten days from transplanting to hundred days and analyzed by , regression equation, determinant of matrix, and differentiation. The plot of total dry weight of leaves, stalk and roots per a plant vs. time forms a sigmoid curve and its function fitted logistic satisfactorily. Tobacco plant grows at an accelerated velocity. And growth velocity, symmetric about an inflection point, is proportional to biomass attained and to the difference between biomass attained and the maximum, and to the decrease according to the biomass. Of varieties and cropping systems, the most maximum velocity was 9.58g per day per plant in mulching cultivation of NC 2326 and maximum accelerated velocity was 264mg per $day^2$ per plant in Burley 21.
