The 4th industrial revolution technology is developing people's lives more efficiently. GIS provided on the Internet services such as traffic information and time information makes people getting more quickly to destination. National geographic information service(NGIS) and each local government are making basic data to investigate SOC accessibility for analyzing optimal point. To construct the shortest distance, the accessibility from the starting point to the arrival point is analyzed. Applying road network map, the starting point and the ending point, the shortest distance, the optimal accessibility is calculated by using Dijkstra algorithm. The analysis information from multiple starting points to multiple destinations was required more than 3 steps of manual analysis to decide the position for the optimal point, within about 0.1% error. It took more time to process the many-to-many (M×N) calculation, requiring at least 32G memory specification of the computer. If an optimal proximity analysis service is provided at a desired location more versatile, it is possible to efficiently analyze locations that are vulnerable to business start-up and living facilities access, and facility selection for the public.

The introduction of GPS technique in transportation study make real time tracking of driving vehicle's position possible. Position information data gauged with three dimension(X, Y, Z) can be achieved with time-continuity and from more than two driving vehicles. For this field of study, in past day, there were many difficulties in collecting real time data, but now, it becomes easy thanks to this. But for the resonable result analysis, fully understanding of GPS data-accuracy must be proceeded. Because accompanied magnitude of error depends on the study's accuracy. For this reason, this study surveyed the GPS data's error and suggest calibrate technique. This study's result will be helpful for following studies using DGPS data. For this, this study takes two types study in road, and set triangulation coordinates, and compare it with GPS data. DGPS data contains less than 0.6m's error.

Relics are life traces of ancestors, and they are good data for giving an idea about space locations of that period. This study classifies relics according to their type, and for each classified group metrical analysis is carried out using GIS and triangle diagram. The criteria used for analysis of relics' locations are elevation, road accessibility and water accessibility. The analysis results show that every relic has its own distribution characteristics according to the time and the type. This means high possibility of approaching a geographical focus on relics distribution and location. While historical period was taking over prehistorical, relics locations moved from the points of great usage water supply possibility to the points of great traffic accessibility. Also, relics of the ruling class for each time period generally have good locations.
The street trees in the urban areas provide an comfortable environment to the pedestrians and drivers and play important roles to absorb the carbons. Therefore, it is necessary to acquire and manage efficiently the location, height, and crown width of street trees. This study suggests a methodology to provide quantitative information of the street trees in urban areas including the quantity, location, height, and crown width of the trees. Therefore, it is more appropriate to add functionality of changing size of the crown width of the trees in the method. In addition, the positions of the street trees were selected using the fact that street trees are generally planted along the road in a straight line. An experiment on extracting street trees was conducted in parts of Osan-si, Gyeonggi-do and the suitability of the suggested methodology was evaluated by comparing the results to a 1/1,000 digital map. Through the experimental results, the minimum, maximum, and the root mean square errors of the position of street trees were 0.5m, 1.9m, and approximately ${\pm}0.4m$, respectively.

This study attempts to analyze changes in land use patterns in a compound urban and agricultural city Kimje-si, using LANDSAT TM imagery and to forecast future changes accordingly. As a new approach to supervised classification, HSB(Hue, Saturation, Brightness)-transformed images were used to select training zones, and in doing so classification accuracy increased by more than 5 percent. Land use changes were forecasted by using a cellular automaton algorithm developed by applying Markov Chain techniques, and by taking into account classification results and GIS data, such as population of the pertinent region by area, DEMs, road networks, water systems. Upon comparing the results of the forecast of the land use changes, it appears that geographical features had the greatest influence on the changes. Moreover, a forecast of post-2030 land use change patterns demonstrates that 21.67 percent of mountain lands in Kimje-si is likely to be farmland, and 13.11 percent is likely to become city areas. The major changes are likely to occur in small mountain lands located in the heart of the city. Based on the study result, it seems certain that forecasting future land use changes can help plan land use in a compound urban and agricultural city to procure food resources.

The purpose of this study is to identify the fragmented points of mountain ranges in Daegu metropolitan city using New Sangyeongpyo (Chart of Mountain Ranges), road system map and GIS spatial analysis, and to prioritize the identified fragmented points for restoration based on quantitative assessment. Moreover, this study proposes restoration plans reflecting the assessment results and characteristics of each fragmented point. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First of all, analysis of the distribution of mountain ranges in Daegu metropolitan city showed that jimaek and semaek in Daegu account for 2% of all mountain ranges in the country, implying that the mountain ranges of Daegu do not hold significant ranking on a national level. However, it was found that numerous fragmented points are appearing due to roads. According to the analysis, 35 fragmented points were identified, of which 15 were found to be restorable. In terms of restoration potential and involved risks, assessment results of the 15 fragmented points indicated that 6 points are at Grade I, 3 points are at Grade II and 6 points are at Grade III. Therefore, a methodology of restoring fragmented mountain ranges was proposed through three suggestions of restoration plans that consider the characteristics of each fragmented points. The results of this study are expected to be highly useful as basic data for effective restoration of mountain ranges in connection with mountain range restorations and relevant projects implemented on a national level in the future.
Masan barber was situated in S.Korean southern central coast. And it is contributing greatly in S.korea's economy development to international trading port of Heaven's blessing that possess natural, geographical situation. Also, because there are Masan free tax area and chanwon heavy industrial complex, sachon air industrial complex etc. on back, it is important permanency in our country. Specially, because inland transport routes such as southern highway, Guma highway and national road system are developed well, the importance is very high. Masan harbor 1899.05.01 be that opened, the 1st and 2nd (central pier) was build 1938∼1944 year, and the 3rd pier was 1973∼1978 year. the 4th pier was 1974∼1983 year, 5th pier was 1984∼1988, 6th pier (west pier) was 1985∼1992 year. it was developed over 100 years. But, it did great many harbor and bay development of last 100 yens but research about coastline change and seashore reclamation is insufficient. Therefore, this research executed research about coastline change of Masan bay of last 100 years, In this study, we analyzed aerial photographs and tide data for the past 100 years using digital aerial photo analysis and GIS techniques for each 3-year interval. We abstracted beach DEM (digital elevation model) and ortho aerial photographs, and conducted a space analysis. As a result, we were able to identify changes in the area As a result, we drew 10 years cycle coastline change of Masan bay. and we can detect bay coastal line change and calculate refill rate.

The computerized management system for bridges is required due to the increased service life and number of bridges. This paper provides information and communication technology (ICT) - based bridge management system (BMS) to enable life cycle management through a comparative study with the development trend and function of domestic and foreign BMSs. BMS developed as an operation system combined an internet and mobile program, and was based on GIS technology and an object-based information management system. BMS supports the establishment of long-term strategies and short-term plans based on predicting the life-cycle performance profile and the necessary budget by object-based informatization for the whole life-cycle information of bridges. Useful knowledge information for supporting decision making was derived from the life-cycle management strategies establishment for approximately 6,000 existing bridges. BMS was developed to be applicable to all nationwide road bridges. In addition, it can be used practically to maintain the performance based on accurate maintenance result management, reducing cost by reasonable budget management, and enhancing the convenience and reliability of field data collection.
Estimation of future land cover based on climate change scenarios is an important factor in climate change impact assessment and adaptation policy. This study estimated future land cover considering Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP) using Scenario Generators. Based on the storylines of SSP1-3, future population and estimated urban area were adopted for the transition matrix, which contains land cover change trends of each land cover class. In addition, limits of land cover change and proximity were applied as spatial data. According to the estimated land cover maps from SSP1-3 in 2030, 2050, and 2100, respectively, urban areas near a road were expanded, but agricultural areas and forests were gradually decreased. More drastic urban expansion was seen in SSP3 compared to SSP1 and SSP2. These trends are similar with previous research with regard to storyline, but the spatial results were different. Future land cover can be easily adjusted based on this approach, if econometric forecasts for each land cover class added. However, this requires determination of econometric forecasts for each land cover class.

Geopark refers to a single boundary area consisting of a collection of geosites and geotrails, which includes ecological, historical and cultural elements based on geological and geomorphological resources. To ensure the continued development and conservation of existing listed geoparks, it is necessary to carry out an environmental sensitivity analysis of the geopark components by utilizing spatial information from various scales. The objectives of this study are to analyze the environmental sensitivity in Cheongsong UNESCO global geopark in relation with slope disaster using GIS and to understand its spatial distribution in connection with geosites and geotrails. Two types of spatial database were constructed; geosites and geotrails in Cheongsong UNESCO global geopark and spatial data to perform environmental sensitivity. Potential soil loss and slope stability were analyzed to derive environmental sensitivity related to slope hazard. The results showed relatively high environmental sensitivity along the drainage network of Cheongsong UNESCO global geopark. Zonal statistics analysis was conducted for further detailed distribution of environmental sensitivity based on buffer zones of geosites and geotrails. Majority of geological sites, geological trails, Jeolgol gorge~Jusan Pond section in hiking trails, and Dalgi Mineral Spring Site~Artistic Genius Republic of Korea(Jangnankki gonghwaguk) section in road areas show relatively high slope hazard sensitivity within buffer zones.
