F-doped SiOC : H thin films with low refractive index were deposited on Si wafer and glass substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) as a function of rf powers, substrate temperatures, gas rates and their composition flow ratios ($SiH_4,\;CF_4$ and $N_2O$). The refractive index of the F-doped SiOC : H film continuously decreased with increasing deposition temperature and rf power. As $N_2O$ gas flow rate decreased, the refractive index of the deposited films decreased down to 1.3778, reaching a minimum value at rf power of 180W and $100^{\circ}C$ without $N_2O$ gas. The fluorine content of F-doped SiOC : H film increased from 1.9 at% to 2.4 at% as the rf power was increased from 60 W to 180 W, which results in the decrease of refractive index.
This study purported to acquire information necessary to improve the management of general hospitals. It tried to determine major indices which represent managerial performance of general hospitals and to identify the managerial characteristics of general hospitals which affect the major financial indices. Eighty-eight hospitals were chosen from 188 hospitals which were subject to standardization audit by the Korean Hospital Association. The results of a discriminant analysis are summarized as followings. First, when a single index was used to measure managerial performance of the sample hospitals, the ration of net profit to total capital was the best index and its discriminant power was 58.14%. The ratio of the number of boardmen((M. D.) and average daily medical cost were highly related to this index. Second, when two indices were used, income growth rte and the ration of net profit to total capital had the highest discriminant distinction ability. Their discriminant power was 61.9%. In this case, the ratio of the number of boardmen(M. D.) was significantly and highly related to the indices. Third, when all three indices-income growth rate, the ration of net profit to total capital and quick ratio - were used together, a discriminant function was statistically insignificant. Therefore, using all three indices was not useful in measuring managerial performance of the sample hospitals. In conclusion, using two indices-income growth rate and the ration of net profit to total capital-was better in measuring manegerial performance of general hospitals than using a single index. The independent variable which affected these indices was the ration of the number of boardmen. The discriminant function was : $D_{GI}=2.77+4.832\times(the ratio of the number of boardmen)$ *G=growth index(income growth rate) *I=profit index(the ration of net profit to total capital)
Query languages for XML use paths in a data graph to represent queries. Actually, paths in a data graph are used as a basic constructor of an XML query. User can write more expressive Queries by using Patterns (e.g. regular expressions) for paths. There are many identical paths in a data graph because of the feature of semi-structured data. Current researches for indexing XML utilize identical paths in a data graph, but such an index can grow larger than source data graph and cannot guarantee efficient access path. In this paper we propose a partitioning technique that can partition all the paths in a data graph. We develop an index graph that can find appropriate partitions for a path query efficiently. The size of our index graph can be adjusted regardless of the source data. So, we can significantly improve the cost for index graph traversals. In the performance study, we show our index much faster than other graph based indexes.
The compositions of health functional food products (HFFP; 18 products) containing gamma linolenic acid (GLA; $C_{18:3}$, n-6) and omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) were investigated. The contents of index components (especially, GLA and omega-3) in HFFPs were monitored by GC-FID analysis. Among the GLA products (sample No. 1~8), the content of GLA in most samples (except sample No.6) ranged from 8.04 to 9.98 g/100 g. These results were suitable for the reference standard (more 7.0 g/100 g) of HFF. In the omega-3 products (sample No. 10 and 15) derived from harp seal oil (HSO), the total contents of EPA and DHA were 14.21-15.98 g/100 g, respectively. These values were suitable for the reference standard (more 12.0 g/100 g) of HFF. Besides, among the omega-3 products (sample No.9, 11~14, 16~18) derived from fish oil, the total content of EPA and DHA ranged from 24.11 to 31.20 g/100 g. These results were suitable for the reference standard (more 18.0 g/100 g) of HFF. In the result of TLC analysis, the HFFPs of 18 were mainly composed of triacylglycerols (TAGs). The content of trans fatty acid in 18 HFFPs was detected in less than 0.30 g/100 g. For the detection of trans fatty acid, $^1H$-NMR (600 MHz) can be used because chemical shift of trans fatty acid was observed at 5.3 ppm in this study.
As the fastest growing office transaction volume in Korea, there's been a need for development of indicators to accurately diagnose the office capital market. The purpose of this paper is experimentally calculate to the office price index for effective benchmark indices in Seoul. The quantitative methodology used a Case-Shiller Repeat Sales Model (1991), based on actual multiple office transaction dataset with over minimum 1,653 ㎡ from Q3 1999 to 4Q 2019 in the case of 1,536 buildings within Seoul Metropolitan. In addition, the collected historical data and spatial statistical analysis tools were treated with the SAS 9.4 and ArcGIS 10.7 programs. The main empirical results of research are briefly summarized as follows; First, Seoul office price index was estimated to be 344.3 point (2001.1Q=100.0P) at the end of 2019, and has more than tripled over the past two decades. it means that the sales price of office per 3.3 ㎡ has consistently risen more than 12% every year since 2000, which is far above the indices for apartment housing index, announced by the MOLIT (2009). Second, between quarterly and annual office price index for the two-step estimation of the MIT Real Estate Research Center (MIT/CRE), T, L, AL variables have statistically significant coefficient (Beta) all of the mode l (p<0.01). Third, it was possible to produce a more stable office price index against the basic index by using the Moore-Penrose's pseoudo inverse technique at low transaction frequency. Fourth, as an lagging indicators, the office price index is closely related to key macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP(+), KOSPI(+), interest rates (5-year KTB, -). This facts indicate that long-term office investment tends to outperform other financial assets owing to high return and low risk pattern. In conclusion, these findings are practically meaningful to presenting an new office price index that increases accuracy and then attempting to preliminary applications for the case of Seoul. Moreover, it can provide sincerely useful benchmark about investing an office and predicting changes of the sales price among market participants (e.g. policy maker, investor, landlord, tenant, user) in the future.
Let f be a function which assigns a positive integer f(v) to each vertex v $\in$ V (G), let r, s and t be non-negative integers. An f-coloring of G is an edge-coloring of G such that each vertex v $\in$ V (G) has at most f(v) incident edges colored with the same color. The minimum number of colors needed to f-color G is called the f-chromatic index of G and denoted by ${\chi}'_f$(G). An [r, s, t; f]-coloring of a graph G is a mapping c from V(G) $\bigcup$ E(G) to the color set C = {0, 1, $\ldots$; k - 1} such that |c($v_i$) - c($v_j$ )| $\geq$ r for every two adjacent vertices $v_i$ and $v_j$, |c($e_i$ - c($e_j$)| $\geq$ s and ${\alpha}(v_i)$$\leq$ f($v_i$) for all $v_i$$\in$ V (G), ${\alpha}$$\in$ C where ${\alpha}(v_i)$ denotes the number of ${\alpha}$-edges incident with the vertex $v_i$ and $e_i$, $e_j$ are edges which are incident with $v_i$ but colored with different colors, |c($e_i$)-c($v_j$)| $\geq$ t for all pairs of incident vertices and edges. The minimum k such that G has an [r, s, t; f]-coloring with k colors is defined as the [r, s, t; f]-chromatic number and denoted by ${\chi}_{r,s,t;f}$ (G). In this paper, we present some general bounds for [r, s, t; f]-coloring firstly. After that, we obtain some important properties under the restriction min{r, s, t} = 0 or min{r, s, t} = 1. Finally, we present some problems for further research.

The purpose of this study was to quantitatively evaluate the expression of both multi-metric qualitative habitat evaluation index (QHEI) and biological integrity index (IBI) for artificial structures eco-artificial fish reef (EAFR) for fishes asylum and habitat. Especially, both experimental evaluation and biological verification were performed in Water and Environmental Center's outdoor test-bed of Korea Institute of Construction Technology located in Andong-city, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The experimental conditions reflecting the situation of domestic river include the flow rate (e.g., $0.0{\sim}1.5m\;s^{-1}$), the width (e.g., 1.0~3.0 m), the depth (e.g., 0.05~0.70 m), and variable bed materials. Both QHEI and IBI were monitored for 8 months from May to December 2010. Whereas QHEI values were highest at experimental points of the E~F with an average of 83.1, those were lowest at B~C with an average of 78.1. However, QHEI values inside EAFR were more than 98.9, regardelss of space and time, and indicated more than the highest good of the state (Good) in the habitat. Overally, IBI values showed similar trend with QHEI, but were 44.2 in the winter dry season, compared to 32.8 of QHEI values. IBI values Also, IBI values inside EAFR were greater than those at the experimental channel by 5.7 to 11.4% and 18.7 to 34.8% in flow and stagnant conditions, respectively, indicating that EAFR can secure asylum and habitat for fish during the dry season. For comprehensive aquatic ecosystem assessment, the experimental channel showed generally fair conditions (Fair~Good), whereas EAFR showed good conditions (Good), suggesting that EAFR can be applied to aquatic ecosystem restoration and improvement.
In this study, the effects of propolis and vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) supplementation in diets were investigated on feed intake (FI), body weight (BW), body weight gain (BWG), feed conversion rate (FCR) and digestibility and on egg production and qualities (weight, mortality, shell thickness) in laying hens exposed to heat stress. A total of 150 Hyline White Leghorn, aged 42 weeks, hens was divided into five groups of 30 hens. Chicks were randomly divided into 1 positive control, 1 control and 3 treatment groups. The chicks were kept in cages in temperature-controlled rooms at $22^{\circ}C$ for 24 h/d (positive control, Thermoneutral, TN group) or $34^{\circ}C$ for 9 h/d from 08.00-17.00 h followed by $22^{\circ}C$ for 15 h (control, heat stress, HS group) and fed a basal diet or basal diet supplemented with vitamin C (250 mg/kg of L- ascorbic acid/kg of diet) or two levels of propolis (2 and 5 g of ethanol extracted propolis/kg of diet). Increased FI (p<0.05) and improvement in FCR (p<0.05), hen day egg (p<0.05) and egg weight (p<0.05) were found in Vitamin C and propolis-supplemented laying hens reared under heat stress conditions. Mortality rate was higher in the control group than TN, vitamin C and propolis groups (p<0.05). Digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and ether extract improved with increasing of both dietary vitamin C and propolis (p<0.05). Vitamin C or propolis supplementation did not affect either the percentage shape index, yolk index or haugh unit and albumen index (p>0.05). However, the egg shell thickness and egg shell weight appeared to be increased in Vitamin C and propolis groups in comparison to HS group birds (p<0.05). In conclusion, dietary supplementation of laying hens with anti-oxidants (vitamin C and propolis) can attenuate heat stress-induced oxidative damage. These positive effects were evidenced by increased growth performance and digestibility, improvement of egg shell thickness and egg weight in comparison to non-supplemented birds. Moreover, supplementation with propolis (5 g/kg diet) was the most efficient treatment.
The purpose of this study was to investigate nutrients intakes and nutritional quality of Adults and Elderly People in an island area (Wando). A three-day dietary intakes survey, using a 24 hour recall method was obtained from 187 subjects aged 46 to 84 (mean age 65.3) living in an island area (Wando). Nutient intakes were analyzed using CAN-Pro soft program and compared to Korean RDA. The quality of nutrients was assessed by analyzing nutrient adequacy ratio (NAR), mean adequacy ratio (MAR), and index of nutritional quality (INQ). The average daily mean energy intakes were 1869.0 kcal for males and 1943.9 kcal for females, respectively. Daily intakes of protein for males and females were 28.0 and 30.4 g and those of fat were 31.5 and 28.51 g, respectively. Nutrient consumed below $75\%$ of Korean RDA was protein, vitamin A, Ca and Zn in both males and females. Average CPF ratio of males and females were 78.8 : 6.0 : 15.1 and 80.0 : 6.4 13.4, respectively. Energy intake ratio from protein was significantly higher in over 60 years males. Carbohydrate dependency decreased with age. Protein dependency increased with age. Nutrient adequacy ratio (NAR) of energy, protein vitamin A and vitamin E were increased with age in males. The mean adequacy ratio (MAR), an index of overall dietary quality, were not significantly different by age group. Average MAR for males and females was 0.77 and 0.78, respectively. The index of nutritional quality (INQ) showed the tendency to decrease with age. Especially, there were significantly decreases in INQ of all nutrients, except protein, with age. Based on these results, it is evident that people in the island area did not consume enough nutrients. Specially, dietary intake of protein, vitamin A, vitamin E, and Ca were not adequate. Seasonal variation in marine macroalgal community structure was examined at the intertidal zones of Heuksando and Hongdo, Shinan, Korea, from July 2008 to May 2009. In total, 86 macroalgal species were identified, including 12 green, 19 brown, and 55 red algae; 67 species at Heuksando and 70 species at Hongdo, were observed. Annual seaweed biomass was 252.44 g dry $wt/m^2$ at Heuksando and 217.67 g dry $wt/m^2$ at Hongdo. The dominant seaweed in importance value (IV > 15) differed between the sites: Sargassum thunbergii at Heuksando and Corallina pilulifera at Hongdo. The vertical distribution pattern of seaweeds from the upper to lower intertidal zones at Heuksando was Gloiopeltis spp., Ulva spp. - S. thunbergii, S. fusiforme, Hildenbrandia rubra - S. thunbergii, C. pilulifera. On the rocky shore of Hongdo, seaweed zonation was distinct: Porphyra yezoensis, Gloiopeltis spp., Ulva spp. - C. pilulifera, S. fusiforme, Myelophycus simplex - Chondrus ocellatus, C. pilulifera, and Carpopeltis affinis. Annual seaweed coverage, richness index (R), evenness index (J'), and diversity index (H') values were greater at Hongdo (41.35%, 12.82, 0.59, and 2.50 respectively) than at Heuksando (31.54%, 11.93, 0.44, and 1.87 respectively), which may indicate that the seaweed community at Hongdo is more stable relative to the one at Heuksando.
